Spiegelsaal (Hall of Mirrors) - Amalienburg The ‘Spiegelsaal’ is the most important room of Amalienburg and also the pièce de résistance of the interiors of the hunting lodge. The decorations of this round hall are dominated by its rocaille motives in silver and blue, a reference to the colours of the coat of arms of the House of Wittelsbach. The Hall of Mirrors is regarded as a highlight of the exuberant Bavarian Rococo style. Its interior was created by sculptor Joachim Dietrich (1690-1753) and painter and stucco artist Johann Baptist Zimmermann (1680-1758).
