I don't know if you've been asked this but how do you feel about keita being on boys planet?

I told myself I wasn't going to watch the show because I just watched an audition show (&audition) and I wasn't ready yet but sung han bin caught my attention and last weekend I caught up with boys planet. I love keita!!! but my fave pick is definitely yoon jong woo <3

I'm really impressed with how keita's teams DELIVER a performance. it's really good. oh and his tone is insane. he never misses.

i'm not watching the show, even for woonggi who is one of my ults, but i know that he and keita are doing well - as they should, they're super talented ! but for keita specifically i just hate that they took him out of ciipher and put him through ANOTHER survival show (he was on ygtb in 2018) ... for him and for all the other boys there who are in active / more recently debuted groups, it feels like a huge step backwards to push them toward a temporary group rather than let them promote with the groups they are already in and let those groups build their own reputations. like i do understand that it does give them more recognition if someone likes keita, looks him up, and then learns he's in ciipher, but it just bums me out bc it kind of feels like a crappy way for a company to go about that, and for keita to go through the survival show wheel again when imo he shouldn't have to. that's part of why i'm not really interested in watching 🥲 but, that's not a knock at anyone who i know is enjoying the show -- i'm glad you are, and i am really glad to hear that my boys are well liked! i'm sure they're also making the most of it (and of course slaying the stages like i know they always do) <3

i'm also not opposed to seeing clips, esp if you have any particular performances you think i should check out where keita / woonggi really shine, feel free to send them my way !!

i think the like weirdest thing abt why they DIDN'T end up being units is because 1 guy left before debut like . as 13 they were going to be 2 units but as 12 they were like you know what ... JKDGJH like when ygtb wrapped, treasure was 7 (hyunsuk, junkyu, jaehyuk, yedam, jeongwoo, haruto, junghwan) -- but then they announced they were bringing back 6 other contestants as a second unit that was called magnum (😭) and that was jihoon, yoshi, mashiho, asahi, and doyoung + the 6th member is the one who left the group before they ever became what would have been 'treasure 13'. so that's your trsr lore of the day LOL i'm really glad that they ended up just combining the groups bc those units i feel like would have had. the weirdest dynamics ???? anyways . yes pls come and yell with me !!! i want teublr to come back to life kajbdgjhb

park jihoon: 2/2 leaders and my best friend (real). his representative animal is puppy (formerly panda but he rly wanted to be a puppy lol) and he's super playful and affectionate with the members, def the dad of mom and dad, and a total power extrovert. killer smile and super cute beauty mark under his eye on his cheek !

kanemoto yoshinori (yoshi): he is a human marshmallow ... very distinct rap voice (all the rappers have unique tones and voices imo) and he's got a recognizable birthmark on his chin ! looks like an anime protagonist come to life honestly. his animal is a tiger. he's soft spoken but when he warms up he's also rly playful especially with hyunsuk hehe

kim junkyu: MEME BOY literally so introverted that it's not even funny lol he hates leaving his room and he will wear the same hoodie and sweatpants every day of his life. his animal is a koala but he's strong on his catboy agenda like he is meowing left and right these days idk also for a while he was known as being the most like 'yg type' of the group whatever that means ! known for his broad shoulders and generally 'good' proportions, again whatever that means . also never dyes his hair

yoon jaehyuk: my angel on earth never not making a kissy face. his animal is a lion and you will pretty much always find him with asahi and/or jeongwoo. apparently he was street cast by like 7 different companies bc he's so handsome, so he chose yg and just like . learned to dance and sing a few months before they put him through ygtb hell ... genuinely just so sweet and soft he always has his arm around whoever is next to him i cry

hamada asahi: looks like a cat but his 'animal' is a robot haha. he's trsr's resident quirky guy and will just do the most random funny things, but he's also a soft spoken sweetheart who is mega talented as a musician/producer and also visual artist. he's come out of his shell a ton over the years we're so proud ... his best look imo is his platinum blonde hair during ILY era. he's got the smudged lipstick in the mv SO iconic

kim doyoung: little prince .. he rly looks like a little cherub to me. his animal is a rabbit (like you!). dobby is a little corny imo like he will just say the cheesiest pick up lines and wink at u but he's being so serious 😭 it's really cute haha. he's also just super sweet and attentive. some ppl say he and junkyu really look like twins but i've never seen it

watanabe haruto: the tallest member! and also the deepest voice lol. he was formerly an alpaca but he changed to a butterfly (nabi is butterfly in korean so i believe it's a play on his last name). tutu seems really cool but he's actually really soft and thoughtful.

park jeongwoo: my annoying little brother (real). also MAIN VOCAL ! his animal is a wolf. the other members hype him up for being handsome hehe bc i think for a while he was really insecure 🥲 he's got so much energy and is often seen messing around w his favorite hyungs, esp jaehyuk and asahi.

so junghwan: our super king cow baby <3 his animal is of course a cow (so means cow). he's also one of the tallest members haha and i don't think he really acts like a maknae, jeongwoo is much more like 'typical' maknae behavior, junghwan is a bit more reserved and pretty responsible imo so he doesn't really take advantage of being the baby. but it comes out and is really cute haha (he's been known to fall asleep while studying on camera 😭)

takata mashiho (former): pocket size main dancer beloved i miss u ... he was also the only one who could really cook so i hope everyone is eating okay now lol. very CUTE but also like one of the absolute most responsible members

bang yedam (former): pd bang u will always be famous ... just absolute main slayer vocalist and songwriter, cute curly hair and super handsome. one of the more down to earth energies of the group too

i'm back hehe and i watched the tmap special!!! they're so cute but god did the cooking stress me out 😭 i would not be able to deal with them lmao but!! i also saw they uploaded another dance compilation 🥺🥺 i genuinely love those, i rewatch them all the time so i hope this one is as good (i'm sure it will be). I haven't seen any announcements tho so... whygeee come on... don't do this...

and yeah survivals are long af, usually poorly managed, and overall just really stressful 😔 i like watching them later since a lot of them are in new groups by then, so i watched pdx in like 2020 i think, when i got into victon! and like u said so many of them were currently active so it lessens the :( a bit. Same with ygtb ofc and p much every other survival show i watched besides iland. But it also feels really cool to watch enha now and think i contributed even a little bit by voting for them 🥹

omg yeah i would LOVE if they did something like what golcha did for game changer where they made it into a little competition and they had a lot of fun with it, esp in units we may not otherwise get to see. who would be your dream subunit, whether for musical reasons or like ... dynamic reasons ... musically i think it'd be really cool to see yedam work with asahi bc like ... asahi's writing + yedam's vocals hello ? they would also be fun to see dynamic wise, but an 00 line unit would be sooo fun or the 3 youngest ! or an unusual unit bc i live for those like . mashiho and junghwan or doyoung and yoshi or hyunsuk and jaehyuk . less usual combos . let's dream big here hehe !!

i remember i watched ygtb back when i didn't know all of the treasure members (i think i knew hyunsuk yedam yoshi asahi and junkyu) so rewatching it and recognising that junghwan had the "duel" with hyunsuk i was like WHATTT HOW DID I NOT NOTICE IT WAS HIM??? but yeah even if some performances are a bit cringey bc they were babies and some were really new trainees it's so fun bc they were so young 🥺 the mashi / seunghun half moon stage 🥰 i absolutely adored it!! I honestly felt quite bad as i was watching it that seunghun and bx were so good and seemed to be so overlooked, but i knew they were in cix and i'm so glad it all worked out, especially since cix has a lot of bops ☺️ i also remember when i watched it i didn't know about the weird ending, and magnum, and all that so i was just SO confused by the end 😭😭😭 now i wanna rewatch ygtb 😵‍💫

when i watched i already was a treasure stan so i knew all of them but i forgot about some of these stages, i just rewatched the hajeongwoo one and i am like . UNIT WHEN !!! they're so cute and it's really sweet to see a lot of their earlier bonds/relationships, like you can already pick out so much good chemistry even early in the game. omg yeah the half moon stage ! seeing that one again made me like wow they do not showcase mashiho's vocals enough ... also the pitbull stage he does with junkyu . help it's so cute ... ~ really crazyyyy ~ ... sigh yeah with gonhun it's bittersweet because they were some of the most talented and trained for so long with the others but i just don't think they ever fit yg's vision for the group and it ended up being really unfair to them. that said, cix is definitely where they belong, and i'm so glad that they stuck together and were able to debut with each other in the end! they have a really special bond and being in a smaller group i think they are better able to showcase their talents. cix rly has a no skip discography !! i wish we could still like ... see and know that they're all still friends though, like how we get to see abcix / golchab6ix friendships on main 🥲

truly the way it all panned out i have always said just goes to show that treasure as they are now were always meant to be. i really can't imagine the original 2 groups promoting separately ... like a world where asahi isn't with haruto & jae & jeongwoo ? a world where dobby isn't with hyunsuk, & hyunsuk isn't with yoshi ? a world where junkyu isn't with jihoon ????? absolutely not ... no ... wrong ... thank god that didn't happen ... ugh i want to rewatch all of it now too but i truly do not have that kind of time or emotional energy rn 🤧 i'll stick to my periodic highlight reels lollll

donghyun (ab6ix): i love how genuine he is. the way he values trust and honesty, and is never one to put up a front is extremely endearing to me and i think why i loved him so much so quickly.

jihoon (trsr): despite how lively he is, jihoon will absolutely never take credit for anything, i sincerely admire the way that he steps back so that others can shine and that is what makes him such a good leader - team first, and care for everyone as an individual (even when you're clowning them).

jaehyuk (trsr): i love the way jae loves. it's so inspiring to me i will literally cry about it ... he is just so attentive and warm, remembers absolutely everything you tell him, always there with a kiss and a 'you did well.'

taehyun (txt): my favorite thing about tyun is how straightforward he is. he is diligent and he is sensitive, but he is very to-the-point, and as someone who is also like that irl i really appreciate seeing it in an idol. it can often be misunderstood but it really does come from a place of trying to understand - it's curiosity and trying to always make himself better.

sehyoon (a.c.e): he is so calming and grounding to me. i actually fell for his performance presence first and he is not my "usual" bias type, but despite being seemingly opposite to me in many ways, i see a lot of myself in our same-age, supportive structure, fighting our own battles but taking responsibility for ourselves nature ... i call him my husband bc i see him as my perfect match.

jangjun (golcha): honestly i just love a clown i really do. jangjun is magnetic in a way that i think is very polarizing like you either love him or think he is insufferable, and i love him because i respect nothing more than a deep commitment to the bit.

seunghun (cix): his tenacity is tear-jerking, i will never be the same after seeing the way he was absolutely emotionally pummeled during ygtb and still manages to be the bright shining light that we know and love today. deserves the world!!!!

seungkwan (svt): again i love a clown ... ajkdbja no boo is pure warmth and is just the kind of person who i can see myself being friends with, he always makes me laugh and sometimes that's really all it takes.

woonggi (to1): my BABY he is just a star. when i was getting to know to1 i simply could not stop laughing bc of woonggi and he is just human sunshine to me, someone who can always lift my mood. and that's why i really hope his hiatus is healing and he can come back to us soon feeling better.

jihoon (solo/wanna one): weirdest kid i've ever fallen in love with in my life. i think what i love most about jihoon is that he has the most like ... baseline energy in the sense that he's not necessarily easily excitable, or witty, or anything other than neutral in *most* moments, but he is just kind of naturally funny, and diligent and extremely committed to everything that he does. i will watch him do absolutely anything.

jin (bts): honestly he is just my bestie. like ... i love that he genuinely in every sense of the word IS just some guy who happens to be in this insanely popular group. but he is peak sagittarius like me and just . lives life how he wants to . and i love that
