another rox and ven headcanon that was supposed to be short but ended up not lol
Underrated Ventus and Roxas dynamic/headcanon: “Everyone thinks we hate each other so maybe we should hate each other, but when I’m with you I can explore a side of myself I’ve never been allowed to before.” Roxas has always been pretty naive and vulnerable, relying on Axel a lot through his time in Organization XIII. So of course, that’s still a very big part of who he is, but every since the Org’s fall and how much Roxas had to grow up/change in such a short time, a lot of that is kinda pushed aside. He’s seen as less innocent since he’s grown up with rowdy friends (Axel, Hayner) and made the decision to fight to protect his friends rather than choose to sacrifice himself. People start to assume he’s more “adult” since he’s so determined, can be so bitter, has been through so much and had to sometimes be more independent. Even if Axel and Xion still know he’s a softie, maybe Roxas has trouble being more vulnerable in front of others, just cause of how many people assume he’s this angry, tough kid. He swears, listens to rock and metal, likes to skateboard. He wants to enjoy his freedom and be whoever he wants. Roxas doesn’t really want to be seen as weak, either. So maybe he lives up to other’s expectations, even when he doesn’t realize it. Talking back to Yen Sid, questioning Riku... Ventus is naive and vulnerable, yes, and he’s very dependent on others. But he’s also passionate, angry, and he’s been through hell, too. He’s just as confused about his identity as Roxas is, and though he was lucky enough to have a family and Master who loved him and didn’t try to manipulate him like the Org. did to Rox, he still had to face a lot. Yet he chose to sacrifice himself for the greater good rather than fight, and because he was raised to be more honorable, like a traditional Keybearer, he’s always seen as softer, more innocent. He doesn’t like to swear (Master Eraqus would always tell him it was rude), he spends so much time reading, he doesn’t always understand slang. He wants to enjoy his freedom, but he also wants to respect his Master and be the ideal Keyblade Master. Ventus also almost lost Terra and Aqua, last time his disobeyed them and Eraqus. He doesn’t want to lose them again, so he won’t run away from home or take them for granted, even if he kinda wishes he had more chances to be independent. They’re opposites. In the way they’re perceived, they way they dress, what they like. And considering how much Roxas fought for his identity, it’s easy for people to assume he wouldn’t like Ventus. And seeing how Ventus already has Terra and Aqua, it’s easy for people to assume he wouldn’t even think about befriending a former Org. member. There’s a lot more that goes into it, honestly, but at the end of the day, people assume the two wouldn’t get along. And because they both want to be the person their friends need, Ventus and Roxas kinda assume they won’t get along, either. But something happens, and suddenly they’re alone together, and as awkward as it is to be with your “clone” and not know what to say. . . . . .they hit it off, sorta. The first time they hang out is weird and tense, with both Roxas and Ventus looking down at the other while also thinking “man, he’s way out of my league. Would people like me more if I was more like him?” But one thing leads to another and they’re cracking jokes. Maybe Ventus’ jokes end up being a little more pessimistic and self-deprecating than normal. It’s the first time he’s been able to be a little bitter about himself in a long time. Roxas is naturally curious. He starts asking Ventus more about himself. More silly questions, things that other people expect Roxas to know already. It kinda becomes a thing, after that. They hang out together, just the two of them alone. Roxas lets Ventus be as dirty and loudmouthed as he wants to. And Ventus lets Roxas ask any question, even if it’s something any “mature” person would know. It’s nice, to let go of “what I should be/what others want me to be”. Nice for Ven to stop pretending he’s a perfect little angel, nice for Rox to allow himself to be as innocent as he was his first days in the Organization. Soon Roxas is the person Ven comes to to vent and have fun with. Meanwhile, Ventus is the first person Roxas talks to about stuff he’s too embarrassed to bring up to Xion or Lea. The funny thing is? No one else notices for a while. Not until the Wayfinder Trio and Seasalt Gang bump into each other and Ventus greets Roxas with “Shit, Rox, I’ve missed you so much!”

I struggle to see the appeal of Katniss and Gale as a couple and it's not just because I ship Everlark deep to my core. I am capable of loving a ship and seeing why someone ships one of those characters with someone else, even if I hate that other ship.
It's because, frankly, Katniss and Gale are boring together. There doesn't seem to be any of the classic romance tropes going on between them. And this, probably more than anything else, is why Everthorne shippers are so few and far between these days because people will ship just about anything as long as it's not boring. Toxic, illegal, annoying, problematic--this will not sway shippers. But boredom will.
Katniss and Gale fight with each other but it's not even "sexy" fighting/bickering. It's boring fighting where you just feel mad at Gale after, but not that great push-and-pull those good antagonistic romantic couples have. It's just push-push-push-push.
They're supposed to be friends, but I can only think of one instance where they share a joke with each other. Their friendship is dull and based solely on "we both need food for our families." That's built a lot of knowledge about one another, but reading the series it's hard to find even genuine moments of friendship between them. Not where one is looking out for or helping the other (I'll never deny they do that), but where it's like, yeah, I can see that they like hanging out with each other because they like the other's company. At least from Katniss's perspective, Gale's company is familiar and known, which is its appeal. But if they were meeting for the first time at 16 and 18 without all the history between them, I cannot for the life of me see them wanting to hang out.
They have no physical chemistry. Katniss's descriptions of her physical contact with Gale are flat at best and uncomfortable at worst. So it's not even like, wow, but their make-out scenes are so hot!
They have no cute or romantic or sexy exchanges with each other. Maybe the one they have after his whipping could be construed as romantic? But Katniss drops that so fast and over three books they have one line each that's just sorta cute. I have seen rarepairs built on more.
Idk, ship and let ship, I just find this one so entirely lacking anything to make it shippable.

Food Fantasy: An Analysis on what killed a Golden Goose (3/3)
Ladies and gentlemen, we've arrived at our final destination.
Again before we start, we have our obligatory disclaimers. I do not own the game or its characters, nor do I claim to know the true history and likely fate of this game. I am entitled to the thoughts and opinions written within this post. Feel free to agree or disagree with the points being made.
This post also remains untagged from the main foofan tag. Only my followers will see this.
We are in the third and final stretch, and the checkpoint is past the cut.
Community
So... here we are, fellow Master Attendants.
As consumers of this piece of entertainment media, we are free to enjoy it however we wish. Appreciating what is there, creating something new from what exists, playing the game by the meta or however you want to play it (within your means and at your own risk of course). There's no one true and absolute way to experience the game.
However, just as you can enjoy something, doesn't mean you can't also point out flaws or shortcomings of the media in question. As an active veteran player, I've already pointed out the many gameplay design flaws  already. And I'd be pretty dumb to say that Food Fantasy's writing is perfect. Hell, it has a lot of holes from a worldbuilding consistency standpoint.
And what of things from the community side? Yes, there will be times you'd see content you consider cringe, or something in fanon you don't agree with. Or there happens to be fan theories and fangirling posts you don't like the take of because of X or Y.
And that's fine. If we all happen to play the same way, like the same thing, agree on the same thing and produce the same thing, well, this would be one helluva boring community, wouldn't it?
But what if someone decides the way you're playing the game is wrong and harasses you over it? What happens if someone decides that their interpretation of the game's flavor text and lore is more important than what anyone else thought about it? What happens if someone decides that they're absolutely right, and you and everyone else who disagrees deserves to be bullied out of the fandom?
As much as I want to say we aren't part of the problem why the game is deteriorating, we are unfortunately, part of the reason why the game is as such even if most of the blame is directed towards Funtoy and Elex themselves.
⦁ Whale Authority. Whales will always be part of a gacha game's ecosystem. Without them, the game won't be able to maintain its upkeep costs, moreso  for one that services global regions instead of just one. But when a game decides to cater its decisions of what features should be prioritized and when it should be launched around only its most elite paying players' voices  -even if that influence has since tapered off-, you know there is something wrong with the publisher's management team and priorities.
⦁ Interguild drama. While I did not personally follow any of this, this has certainly been the peak of in-game tension back in the day. Poaching good players from both competitive and smaller guilds, guild mergers that often ended up making the annexed guild/s the equivalent of UK colonized India or Australia, suck-ups chummying up to guild leaders to keep a spot in an active, high ranking guild (for bragging rights!) despite never contributing much to overall damage, and just general dislike of certain players' attitudes. Actions like this have disillusioned many players about their playing experience and the reason why many eventually just lost the motivation to log into FooFan.
⦁ Cheaters. You know very well about the Hacker-teme I've mentioned before, but that was in context of Elex being incompetent with dealing with them. Here, I would like  to point out the players who are desperate to dominate  the playing field for whatever reason to the point that they would resort to cheating the ranks with forceful modifications of the APK. Whether it is to rank high in catacombs weekly, get a top spot in daily disaster damage, or weasel their way into the competitive whale ranks of a major ranking event, these are the people who have no qualms messing with the code to give themselves an easier time with the game. And if they're caught? Some pretend that they've made a mistake, some quickly sell the account to escape the blame, some others just scamper away into the dark and hide in the lower ranks where they can't be found. Others simply don't care and keep cheating until Elex decides to finally ban them... if Elex ever decides their rebates score isn't worth saving the account.
⦁ Ship wars. Ah yes, a staple of drama in any fandom. There doesn't need much explanation to this as we've all had our fair share of running into a battleground in whatever fandom we visit. Someone ships BB52 wholeheartedly? Nope, problematic 'age gaps'. Someone likes Napoleon with Pastel? Someone's bound to misinterpret their bios in order to justify that Napoleon was being abusive. Spaghetti and Borscht? Borscht is minor coded, ship her with Vodka instead. Whiskey and Pizza or Cassata? Cancelled! And I've never heard of the Foe Yay trope or pretend I don't know about it! Rarepairs? Disgusting! No fanon in my canon playground! Turkey and Eggnog? Gasp! How dare you, you pedo-shipper-even-though-you-never-said-you-shipped-them-romantically-but-that-isn't-my-point!
⦁ Character Obsession: Bias. On one hand, you love a character so much. Relate to a character so much. You have thus pulled this character into the folds of your bosom and coo at them like a mother dove and get so minutely triggered if someone so much as makes one disagreeable or joking comment about the character that you fly into an overreactive ballistic rage that would make a Canadian goose honk in fear. You don't care what they are in canon. You don't care about the possibility of mistranslation. What matters is the fanon space you carved out for them to exist in and that's all that matters. The problem with this is when this obsession takes over common sense and social etiquette and it steps into harassment territory. You begin to think: I'm the only one who 'understands' the character. I'm the only one who wishes better for the character, everyone else is out to defame them! Oh wait, you like them too? Do you like them the way *I* like them? No? Maybe if you're my 'friend', I'd let it slide. But to everyone else? No one else has the right to like them as much as I do. No one! Never mind that they're completely fictional- No one hurts my bias because in turn, they're hurting *me*!
⦁ Character Obsession: Anti. On the other hand, you hate a character so much. This character just makes you see so much red. Their smug little smirk just makes your blood boil. Their fictional backstory makes you recoil in disgust. You hate that someone else loves a character you hate so much.  You cannot *believe* that someone could be so daringly stupid to like a problematic character. They must be problematic too then. They must be hiding real life secrets that are problematic! Yes, yes. That's right. That person's a supporter of abuse. That person's into pedophilia. That person is into military lolita fashion that Japan started the trend of but clearly Japan was part of the Axis Powers! And that... that person... that person... is a roleplayer and a yaoi fangirl properly interacting with minors and adults. How dare they...!
⦁ Fan Translations.  Normally it wouldn't be a problem that a group or two or several are translating pieces of the game's lore ahead of the official. But with Elex's very delayed translations and extreme allergic reactions to translating Food Soul bios, people have become dependent on fan-translation groups to get their fix. The problem herein lies... is when the translators get drunk off the power that they are one of a handful in a small community who can magically transcribe the oriental moonrunes into English. The problem starts when the translator starts to have an inclination. The problem starts when the translator loses their professional detachment and start adding in details here and there into the fan translated product that ultimately changes the meaning and direction of the entire story. The problem is also escalated when that translator's embellished product is touted as the truth by their followers. If there was an upcoming character whose backstory is connected to a character they hated (either because of someone or they just don't like the character) and you were hoping to read the fan translation? How would you know that what you get isn't something doctored to the point it's basically fanfiction?
⦁ Social Justice Vigilantism. Sometimes someone does not have a character obsession or need it to be annoying. Sometimes, someone just wants to ring the alarm over something they find 'problematic' in order to police and sanitize the enjoyment of the media for 'everyone'. They no longer really take enjoyment out of a new Food Soul design being leaked, they no longer read the lore just to enjoy what it has to offer. Instead, they nitpick bits and pieces of the design and point it out repeatedly as a reason why the whole thing is bad. They point out bits of the story and inject their interpretations of it without really comprehending what they've read in full and react badly to it. What's worse is that they have no qualms publicly posting their reactions and eagerly and hungrily await those likes and echoes of agreement that they were right.
⦁ Circles of Influence. Everyone has a group they eventually gravitate to in a fandom. It comes with its own pros and cons. Sometimes you join a group because someone you admire is in there, sometimes you join a group because you just want to mingle and see more content. All valid reasons. Arguments can't be avoided in a group, it has to happen... But you have to take care. You have to take care to feel the change in the air of the group. When someone starts pushing people to agree with them. When your most admired people start to feel overly sensitive about certain characters or issues. When you start to feel obligated to spy on other groups outside of this one for 'nonbelievers', 'traitors' and 'heretics' who do not think the way this group does, and that bringing back bits and pieces of gossip as offerings would somehow make you more favored in the eyes of the inner clique or remain inside it. There is a gripping sense of annoyance when that person comes in to complain but you can't do anything about it but nod and agree. There is a pervading sense of fear and apprehension of overstepping an invisible boundary. There is fear that you might be next on the chopping block, after witnessing one of the others being ganged up on and thrown out without a second thought, their name spat upon like they're worth less than dirt. And so reluctant you are to give up what you have with them that when they push you to do something you are reluctant to do, all in the name of 'harmony and justice'... You do it. Even though it would mean offering yourself up to the mob with no salvation, and the stark realization that... [they] never cared about you as a friend.
And we've come to the end of this analysis trilogy. The writing got a little bit strange in this post, but honestly this is the best way I could put it. I'm aware things can and will be more complicated than the bullet points I've written but I'm just one person and I tried very hard to keep details of all the drama that happened in this fandom as vague as possible. Of course, that wouldn't work if you know what I am talking about.
The community is quiet now for the most part, the game is somewhere between limbo and the living plane. Things could be better for us, but I don't really count on it.
I wish I could leave a bit of a moral warning or something. But rather than do that, I just hope this was an entertaining read into one individual's eyes into Food Fantasy and everything that makes it up.

You made me ship Lunya T.T but as a Allison stan this kind made me ship her with Diego... headcanon about the neglected couples? :O
Tbh, there are a lot of ship possibilities that could be seen as neglected couples since there are 7 main people who could be thrust into about 21 ship dynamics - not counting poly ships and not counting ships that aren’t sibling ships - like Klave or Vanya/Helen or even still incest stuff like Gracexthe sibs.
So you see, endless possibilities but there are only about 4 ships who are really popular? Klave, Kliego, Fiveya...maybe Horrance? And even then, most Horrance or Fiveya shippers still see their ship as a rarepair because compared to Klave or Kliego it more or less is.
Which may have to do with the fact that if you’re an anti but wanna ship something you have pretty limited options, so Klave it is.
So you probably want some Allison/Diego hcs but I’m gonna do a little more because Allison is less popular in general so her ships are not that often talked about.
I’ll leave out Alluther because I did some OTP asks about them, but y’all know I ship them because it’s the sweet story of childhood sweethearts meeting again and falling in love all over again and it’s just...*sighs dreamily* lots of possibilities.
Allison/Diego: A fun ship! At first you’d probably say: ‘We have a pretty much functional adult with a child and a guy who eats raw eggs to seem edgy’ so it’s easy to fall into a Hermione/Ron relationship interpretation where you have a dumbass and someone done with their shit - and I can see it being like that occasionally but not always!
When I think about them I mostly think about teasing. They totally do some competitive shit just because they wanna best each other but where that same dynamic could quickly turn into arguments for Luego I can see it staying mostly light-hearted with Allison/Diego.
(Quick question, do they have a ship name? Asking for tagging purposes).
And Allison would take none of Diego’s shit. Oh, Diego has one of his mood swings and tries to be an emo boy and pull that ‘I don’t need anyone shit’? Boy, Allison is a single mother who’s been through a divorce already, she doesn’t have time for your angst.
Lmao, Allison being like: “We’ll sit down and talk about our feelings now” after a fight and Diego complains the whole time but sits down like a good boy.
Also, Allison would do the vigilante thing from time to time because she may pretend to be an adult and above that kinda stuff but it’s fun and they definitely argue over who took out more people.
Give me that power couple pls.
Allison/Klaus: One of my favourite ships! Can be real whole-hearted or angsty depending on the angle you take.
Like, Allison who keeps busting Klaus out of prison with her status and her rumours and who pays for his rehab stay every single time, at first still telling him that she’s gonna fix him with that Hollywood ‘You can do it’ attitude - slowly getting more and more annoyed by her no-good brother, feeling like a babysitter - maybe even refusing to keep indulging his brother, to keep giving him money he’s only gonna use on drugs anyway.
And Klaus who despises Allison’s glamour lifestyle, her polished image and her nuclear family - we could even throw some biphobia in there because Klaus remembers their talks about how pretty girls are but Allison pretends that never happened because it wouldn’t do her career much good. (Just like being seen with her junkie brother, “isn’t that why we can’t meet anywhere that isn’t a back alley? Why you can’t talk to me without sunglasses and a hat? Why you keep your voice down even when I scream at you?”)
Plus, some added angst: Patrick telling Allison to just drop her brother already, he’s just gonna self-destruct and take her with him and that creates tension between the two of them, could even be one of the many reasons for their divorce.
And just like that, Allison loses all of it. And Klaus is there with a cheap bottle of Tequila, already high and grinning at her: “Welcome at the bottom, sister dearest!”
*insert the 30k story about the two of them slowly learning to understand each other and finally being able to heal - with the help from the other but also because they wanna change for themselves. I vote for added bed sharing and sleepovers and them doing each other’s nails but also them fucking once and not talking about it because they were both really hurt and not really thinking when it happened but it staying in the back of their minds until they realize that they could actually work together*
This got angstier than it was supposed to be, sorry! I love them, I swear!
Allison/Five: Probably the least popular one out of all the Allison ships!
I have to admit that I don’t think about Five ships much? Which probably has to do with the whole child body thing but I’m not opposed to ships involving them! (Especially when they’re enby, y’all know my brand).
Allison/Five would be that kinda snob couple who knows they are superior to you and they’re not above showing you. Lots of quibs, lots of sarcasm.
But also probably one of the more mature ones? I can see Allison being unsure at first because Five is- no, looks like a kid and who knows when that will get fixed? And maybe it’s because she’s a Mum but sometimes she just treats them like a child and Five hates it.
(Five probably has to do a lot of courting before Allison considers a relationship. Which is bullshit. They both know there’s tension there, why the fuck is Allison drawing back from that? Just because Five’s trapped in this body? Does Allison think they want that?)
Five aggressively flirting while Allison to herself is like: ‘Hoe, don’t do it.’ but eventually giving in.
And of course, depending on your take of Five’s body, things are gonna be weird. Like, a popular hc is to have Five in a 20ish body but even then, just imagine the headlines.
Allison Hargreeves, world star, dating a guy 10 years younger!!! Is she getting over her divorce with a boy toy?
(Not to mention the pseudo-incest part).
They’d get a lot of shit I’d say.
And Five would be furious about that. How dare they imply that their relationship with Allison is just some fling? They’ll show them. So they make a game out of proving the paparazzi wrong. Makes it their mission to treat Allison as right as possible.
(Also I have feelings about the whole Five - Claire - Allison thing. I mean, just Five mentioning wanting to meet Claire? Knowing her name? I am soft).
And I know I am rambling a little but whether you think Patrick was/is a nice guy or not (I personally think he is), I can see Allison being so obsessed with seeming flawless and having the picture perfect family - as opposed to her own family - that she felt like she could never really be herself? Like she had to hide a lot of her more ‘ugly’ sides to be desirable.
And Five doesn’t care about that shit. Five also doesn’t care about courtesy. Five will jump into her room at the beginning of their relationship, watch her scramble around to try and change into something nicer than her pajamas and apologize for her messy hair and her pimples- “I just woke up, I didn’t have time to put on my make up, can’t you come back later Five?”
And Five’s like: “You look like someone who just woke up. Your hair is sweaty and you have a pretty big pimple on your nose. Also, your morning breath is horrible. Can we cuddle now?”
(Five is the first partner Allison burps in front of. It’s pretty freeing).
Five on the other hand has someone they can be insecure in front of. Where they don’t have to pretend they know all the answers. Be dismissive with. (They’re trying to let all of their siblings in but it’s a process, okay?)
I’m sorry, I’ll stop now but I gave myself feelings.
Allison/Ben: This feels like an easier couple. Like, more normal, lmao. Just a couple of adopted sibs falling in love the old-fashioned way - after one of them gets brought back to live and they survive a near apocalypse their sister caused.
I like to spin some tale of being in love as kids (like with Alluther) but for me the two of them really work better as just being friends as kids and then once Ben comes back, Allison realizes how much she missed him and she’s like “What is this???? Am I....crushing on him??” (imagine the Beauty and the Beast song where they realise they like each other while playing in the snow).
Just...some good and nice slowburn. Maybe some added angst with Ben thinking Allison is confusing her relieve of him being alive with being in love or believes she’s looking for a rebound after her divorce.
Or maybe he believes he’s just touch-starved and that’s why he clings to Allison?
(Imagine the two of them chilling at the mansion together, just picking up where they left off, pretending to still be kids. Allison all excitedly showing Ben what he’s missed during all those years and what he only gets to experience now - let’s be honest this mostly boils down to Allison making him eat a bunch of stuff, not even waiting until he takes a bite himself but just putting it in his mouth because she wants to see whether he likes it).
(I hc that Allison can’t cook for shit but Ben has no real frame of reference unless you count blurry memories of what food used to taste like so it’s heaven to him and Allison is giddy).
They’re just cute, okay?
Allison/Vanya: ANGST. GAY ANGST. I mean, the guilt over what happened, Allison feeling like it’s her fault and treating Vanya all nice but Vanya stilll flinches everytime she sees the angry red scar across Allison’s throat. Plus, if Allison still can’t speak and will never speak again and Vanya tries her hardest to learn ASL with her so she doesn’t have to write down everything all the time.
Young Allison/Vanya with Vanya realising she’s queer and sneaking glances at Allison and immediately feeling guilty because she shouldn’t be looking, it’s wrong and dirty and Allison will hate her and-
Whereas she is completely missing the way Allison is looking back.
Also this ship can easily turn toxic with either of them - or both - getting overbearing after all that happened. And tbh, that’s just as exciting to write/think about.
That’s all I got for now but you’re welcome to talk more Allison/Allison ships with me!

For the fanfic meme! 16, 23, 24, 28, 31, 39, 40, 41, 45, 46
Thank you so so much. This really helped me take my mind off of things
16. Are their any popular ships in your fandom which you dislike? Ah man, a lot. I love my ships, but in comparison to a lot of people, I'm not that hardcore of a shipper. So in turn, I tend to dislike a lot of things that aren't popular and it's a rare thing for me to like something that is popular lol. First thing that comes to mind is Celes/Locke from FFVI. That ship didn't make sense to me when I first played it at 11/12 and it makes even less sense to me as an adult. I don't care for any ships with Cloud in VII. Same with Garnet/Zidane in IX. Geez, most of the ships in Dragon Age, too. Sigh... yeah :\ I'm just a non-canon/rarepair shipper forever.23. Name a fic you’ve written that you’re especially fond of & explain why you like it.May Death Find You Alive  I wrote it for @lunamanar  for her birthday and I dunno. I tried so damn hard to polish it super shiny, because I know she's so good at nitpicking the smallest things (which I love when she does that) and didn't want her to do that for a birthday gift. I'm just really proud of how it came out and contains a lot of elements I enjoy reading, so yeah. Lotsa feels for this one.24. What fic do you desperately need to rewrite or edit? I'm the Darkness, You're the Starlight  I went on hiatus because of cosplay shit, then I got stupid busy with work, on and off sick, then in general got stuck on a chapter I loathe and really need to rewrite from the ground up (I've already rewritten it 2-3 times). Everything else is done, but man, this one chapter... it kills me.28. If someone were to draw a piece of fanart for your story, which story would it be and what would the picture be of?:O I mean, anything and I'd be happy. I think what I'd love the most is the scene with Celes and Setzer at night on the Falcon under the northern lights from Darkness/Starlight. That's one of my favorite scenes in the whole story and I can see it so vividly in my head and I think I'd cry happily forever if someone decided to do fanart for that particular scene. 31. What’s the nicest thing someone has ever said about your writing? I'm really grateful that I've had numerous people say quite a few nice things to me about my writing, ranging from burning through my work to alleviate boredom to feeling less alone in topics/themes I explored to shamelessly reading smut in the presence of family and not caring.39. What is you greatest strength as a writer?I feel my characterization is my strongest. I have a lot of experience in acting and general theatre stuff, so one thing I always tried to tackle before memorizing lines was get a genuine feel for the character I was trying to portray. That's carried over into my creative writing. 40. What do you struggle the most with in your writing? Being concise. I know I can crank out words forever and easily ramble on and on about pointless shit. It's when I go into editing mode that I really take an axe to a lot of my writing to have it get to the point. But regardless, whenever I write, it's just... endless stuff. I wish I could stop that so it would be less editing.41. List and link to 5 fanfics you are currently reading.Oh man, I'm not reading a lot at the moment because I'm so damn busy, but here are the top 5 I'm the most damn excited about getting time to finally read:Everything and Nothing by @dvske  Amid the Wreckage by Revans_MaskI Will Call You Home: A Recounting of the Fifth Blight by AthenaTsetaheart in a headlock by andromeda3116 EVERYTHING EVER WRITTEN BY @pocketseizure I’m so behind and just want to binge all of the fics
45. What is your all time favourite fanfic? I love so many fics for so many different reasons. It's so difficult to just pick one and call it a day. I remember when I was younger, there was this Beatrix/Garnet post-canon story that went over the development of their relationship and that was my favorite back then. God, I wish I knew the name of it :( it was one of those fics that made me start shipping them and was just comfort food for lil queer me. As an adult, the one I keep thinking of is The Modern History of Zelda by rynling/pocketseizure. Everything about that fic excited me and in turn, makes me want to be a better writer. The worldbuilding is astounding, the magic is whimsical and gorgeous, the dialogue is witty, the build up in the relationship is amazing, and it's overall just damn solid. It warmed my heart and made me feel like a kid being told a magical bedtime story. I love it so much.46. If someone was to read one of your fanfics, which fic would you recommend to them and why?Hmmmm... maybe And I Will Follow You into the Dark  Even if you're not familiar with Transistor, it's a lot of genuine themes people deal with, myself included. I really wrote from my heart with this one (I mean, I try to with all of them, but some of them are harder hitting than others) so if someone was to read just one, this really sums up a lot of stuff in regards to what I write.
