WHAT is your skincare routine bc holy shit

OOF i appreciate that anon ! i don’t think my skin’s good most days but sometimes,,,, i have my moments

tips i can give that will help your skin !! under the cut bc it’s a lot

1. water. gotta hydrate, gives your skin elasticity ! put water bottles near your bed, couch, kitchen, car, desk, so that you don’t have an excuse to NOT drink water anywhere you are. fruits n veggies with high water content >>>

2. if you can’t sleep from 12-7 which is my sleep sched for this college quarter, make sure you’re at least napping and getting as much sleep as you can. reducing screen time before bed by leaving them out of the bedroom is a must. getting ready for bed and helping yourself keep calm as you begin to drift off to sleep without electronics is !! so important

3. after i started being mindful of how filthy my laptop keyboard and phone can be, i started cleaning it more and making sure i don’t touch my face right after. if it feels greasy i clean with a clorox wipe right away. don’t let those germs near your beautiful face!

4. my routine goes like so: clean&clear lemon cleanser at night, then clean&clear moisturizer w/ salicylic acid! i had lemon toner daily but i had to take it out bc my skin’s super sensitive and hates fragrance and heavy/abrasive stuff. so i use that sparingly, like once a week. i use exfoliant v sparingly, bc your skin rlly doesn’t need vigorous scrubbing, contrary to popular belief. i only use when why skin feels like it’s clogged up. i like hydrating and blackhead-targeting masks, but beware of those pore strips. they rlly don’t do anything bc the sebum in ur nose is there.. naturally and will just come back, and even though it might not look good bc they look like tiny blkheads issall good, your skin is perfectly healthy regardless of them! also the strips enlarge your pores D: for daily moisturizer i use aveeno but it’s kinda oily, i’m trying to find one that doesn’t look so shiny on my skin ehe. also extra sunscreen on particularly sunny days! ALWAYS wear sunscreen guys, i haven’t been for the longest time but skin cancer really really scares me

5. i don’t pick at my face. unless the zit’s rlly ugly, i just leave it, and it heals on its own if i just let my skin do her own thing. if it IS horrendous, i wash my face thoroughly, make sure my nails are trimmed, and scrub my hands and nails vigorously before i pop my pimple. never press down on it, squeeze from sides and apply gentle pressure. i stop squeezing when i see blood, bc no one likes sepsis when they’re just trying to pop a zit! then i calm down that area with cold water and blot with clean towel.

HIGH SCHOOL AU HERE WE GO *rubs hands together* BEEECH. Imagine these two dummies working on a school project together. Like, at the beginning they work well together, they both do their research and everything, communicate okay, everything is GUUCI. Until it comes down to actually physically making the poster board and/or power point. It's CHAOS okay. One wants it one way, one wants it the other, they end up splitting it 50/50 so both portions don't really match but they still get 1/?

a decent grade because hey, they did the fucking work, they did it well, and their history teacher is Tired™ okay. And like they wouldn't call each other friends necessarily at the beginning, because they're not really in the same circles and Shane is pretty quiet (unless you get him riled up about the paranormal, apparently, as Ryan one day finds out that fucker get's HEATED real quick) but like after their project they notice each other more I guess? Like Ryan's like oh I have him in math 2/?
