Shawn knew he could easily knock Marc out now and end the fight, but he wanted the submission. He needed the submission. He needed to make such a statement, that there would be no doubt that he belonged here fighting for his chance at revenge against Cody. He wanted to show Cody what was in store for him once he got his hands on him. Marc simply was a means to send that message to Cody. Marc was hurting badly, but his hatred for Shawn's attitude and style just would allow him to do the sensible thing and submit. Part of him hoped he could outlast Shawn's attempts at submitting him so he could make a dramatic comeback to win. Marc figured Shawn would eventually tire or get frustrated, make a mistake, and then he would strike. Until then, he just had to endure the pain. So through clenched teeth and cries of agony, Marc endured hoping Shawn would get frustrated by his endurance.  Marc felt his legs release and they collapsed down to the mat. Before he could move, a punch landed right into his abs. Marc's abs were getting soft and tender like his pecs. Every punch radiated through his body. He bowled over again to protect his abs. Shawn then rolled him over to his stomach. Marc gave a small indistinguishable sigh of relief that his abs would have time to recover. He found out how wrong his sigh was soon after. Shawn grabbed Marc's legs for a boston crab. Instead of positioning his body over the small of Marc's back, Shawn pulled Marc torso up and back far enough for Shawn to sit on Marc's head. Marc's abs were stretched tight and began to burn. His back also ignited in fire as he was bent far past his normal flexible range. "What the fuck?!" Marc cried out as he positioned his hands to try and lift Shawn off of him. Shawn ignored Marc and pulled back until Mar's feet touched the ground in front of his head. Shawn leaned back and smiled wide with enjoyment as he sat on Marc's head and pretty much let his full weight put pressure on the side of Marc's face. "Admit I own your sorry ass!" Shawn demanded again. "Things will only get worse from here!"
