"What would you give to live in wonderland rather than your own world?"

*throws this here and runs away* I have no words. I was gonna make a story based on this but my brain can't remember stuff about it when I sit down to write it down haha. This is like Alice in wonderland inspired idea where Leo sees the female version of himself in the mirror and thinks that he is going insane about it or something. The upper picture is like two or more weeks old by now.

Anyways here have a ref sheet for the dress on the front as well

Have mercy, I can't draw 2012 turtles well- or flowers, I had to study flower language just for this and I'm still confused about it.

Something he left behind

Soft noises from a movie were heard out of the room. What it was or what was said didn't matter, if you ask Leonardo Splinterson that is. Or what the boys called him, Old man was what they used but the name that he went by was Ronin, the name that reminded him of his dear friend Usagi. He had other reasons to be called that, he had lost his master when he came to this world years ago and the name Leonardo was used by young red-eared slider already and to avoid confusion he gave himself a new name. 

Leaning against the wall, listening to four young teenage turtle boys talk about the movie, one of those sci-fi movies that the boys liked to watch together as a family. It gave him something else to focus on, he could go and meditate but he didn't feel like it, which was odd since it was one of his things to pass the time or let his thoughts wander. How long has he been in this universe? He had lost the count after five years, he guessed, it was a few years too long. And still he didn't know how to return to his own universe, he wasn't that intelligent as one of his brothers to know how the world traveling worked and he knew the boys would miss him if he left. He had been with them since they were little kids, taking him in when he came to this world. He couldn't remember anything from that day other than every fiber of him hurted like shell. 

Every day from the day he came to his senses, he saw the boys bicker about something small, like pizza slices or what movie to watch, the normal teenager stuff. It did give him a longing feeling to see his own brothers and his own home, friends and anything that he had left behind. He raised one of his hands against his own chest, feeling the steady heart beating, informing him that he was still alive. What he didn't know was if his own brothers were alive. Were they safe? Did Raphael take care of them like he ordered before.. He couldn't remember what had happened back then, he had tried to think and always it gave him a headache or it came back blank.  

Lowering his gaze towards his chest, his eyes spotted the bright colored rings that were on his wrist wrapped on his old mask. The one he couldn't use as it looked torn and old, but he couldn't get rid of it as it brought memories of his past. Like the rings that his eyes glued onto, red, purple and orange. 

He still remembered the day when he and his brothers were just little kids, starting their training under their father. His youngest brother came up with an idea to have each other's colors on them so they were always together. Back then he was skeptical about it, as if they'll be separated, they were brothers, they only had each other while being only ones of their kind as well. Well… His brother was right this time, these three little rings were the only things he had left anymore of his little brothers. 

Red was the first color of the three, fingers softly touching it he thought about his hotheaded, powerful and ready to fight brother, Raphael. He looked like he could bite but his heart was full of gold and he loved his family. Shell, even now he missed the times when they bickered about things, like when he was almost fooled by Oroku Saki or when Raphael didn't agree with his plans all together, especially when they met Karai the first time. But the thing that he missed the most was the passion that led his brother to protect the ones he loved, especially their little brothers. The sheer force that pumped in every move and strike when Raph put himself between his family and the threat, taking the brunt of it even if it cost his own life. 

The next color was the color of his most intelligent, kind and quiet brother, Donatello. The one who had sometimes his head in the clouds, thinking of the next project he could do to make their lives much easier. The way Don's eyes shined when there was something new to learn or new technology to use, but for him they were only toys to play with. No matter what it was or if it was broken, he knew his little brother would find the way to fix it. Who else would have made their lair safe from unwanted visitors.. Most of the time at least, he knew his brother blamed himself always if something went wrong, even if it wasn't his fault at all. He even studied some medical stuff, since their red banded brother got hurt the most. Mostly protecting their family genius as he worked on something else, like defusing bombs or taking control of the enemy computers. 

What Leo missed the most was the scent of the caffeine which their genius brother drank most of the time. Sometimes when the homesickness was worst, he'd go to the kitchen, brew a little bit of that bean water and let the scent take him back in time, imagining Don drinking a cup of it while taking notes for his new project. He could almost hear the steady thumping sound of what happened when Raph punched their punching bag, getting rid of the excess energy most likely. And he could almost see their youngest brother, laying across the couch, comic book in his hand, who knows which one of them as he had so many of them, his eyes shining with wonder, soft cat snuggling close to him for warmth, Klunk, the cat what their baby brother took in and takes good care of.

About that, the last but not least color of the rings belonged to that brother. The one who always smiled or joked around to lift the mood, or teasing someone, most likely Raph. The last brother was Michelangelo, the battle Nexus champion as he always reminded his brothers. Like any of his brothers, he missed the days when he'll watch his little brother playing one of those games on those consoles, which has seen better days and was fixed so many times by family genius that he had lost count of it. Even if he wasn't following clearly what his brother was talking about, he gladly let his brother talk about things that interested him. Missing the days when he saw baby brother making that serious face while battling with the enemy and seeing the potential inside of him ready to be unleashed if he just focused enough or at least trained. Not like his brothers weren't serious about training like Leo was but he didn't mind that much, as long as they kept themselves safe it all mattered to him. 

“I miss you guys so much…” Leo mumbled under his breath, feeling tears pool under his eyes, soaking the blue mask as they fell down to his cheeks, holding hands close to his chest, fingers crossing over the rings while lifting his gaze up towards the ceiling. He didn't try to hide those tears and emotions that his face showed. Who would even see it? He was alone in that hallway, this world's Splinter had most likely fallen asleep on his chair and other turtles were still watching movies inside the room. So for this once he let the emotions show freely as a soft smile lifted on his lips, letting his thoughts wander to his past and his small but happy family. What he missed so much that it hurt his heart. Though sometimes even his brothers get on his nerves, he still loved them so much. 

“Did anyone hear that?” That phrase snapped Leo back to present, not sure who it was who asked that, most likely one of the boys. Did the movie end already? He wondered as his thoughts went to the young boys what he had learned to love like his own brothers, making sure they were safe and protected from the dangers they weren't even ready to face. But now maybe it was time to walk away from them, he didn't want to be seen by them. Not when his mask was soaked with tears and if he took the mask off, his eyes would be red from crying. He wasn't in the mood to be seen by the young ones in this state of mind, not when he knew they all would get worried about him, which he didn't want at all. 

Lifting himself from the wall, keeping hands close to his chest, he took off. Making sure to be silent as he walked towards his room what he was given all those years ago. He knew he wouldn't sleep at all but maybe some light reading or maybe… Just maybe he'll make a little stop by the kitchen to brew a little bit of that bean water and lock himself to his room, letting that scent fill his small room and take his mind back to the good times. 

Not knowing that one of the turtles had taken a gaze off the screen, eyes going straight to the entrance of the room where he saw a little bit of blue before it disappeared into the dark hallway. His eyes gleaming with worry towards the older turtle, knowing very well that the other one had been there the whole time. “I didn't hear a thing” the boy in the blue mask said after a while, turning gaze back to the screen while his thoughts were somewhere else. Maybe he'll have a talk with the old turtle after the movie to see how the other was doing or maybe talk to him in the morning when he is in a better mood and ready to talk.

Hoo boy what can I say, it has been years since I had written anything or posted my stories anywhere. But I got inspired by the little comic test page I made and it just went from there. And oh this kinda is tied to the same au where 03 Raph and 03 Donnie are with 2012 turtles. Maybe someday I'll write something about that.. who knows

Finally got around to post these ones which have been sitting in the gallery like... A few weeks now.

Anyways it's like 03 boys but with a little bit of my style/I see them as or might draw them

And I say this, I almost gave up on their full body art because the file crashed and lost the file while that happened, luckily I had made some extra save files otherwise I would have never finished. (I honestly almost cried when that happened because I colored them so many times over and over again till it crashes while saving it)

Family story time.

Little something rather than doodles about the au about 2003 Don and Raph with 2012 turtle kids. What to say anymore, Don likes to read to kids while Splinter enjoys his own time meditating or something.

Fun fact: I almost lost interest on this pic, just because the file that I used for this got corrupted... And lost two days of work in swoop.. luckily had it somehow in this stage saved as preview so.. uh got it finished but now I don't like that art program anymore.. or that much anyways. Gotta find something else to draw with now, I don't want that to happen again.

Little warm up doodles from the au I'm working on, it's going on about 2003 x 2012 when 2003 Don and Raph got into alternative universe where they met the other turtles and their Splinter. This is just some shenanigans I imagined they'll do together.

Like in example adult Don and little Donnie share the same interests and read a lot together about science and math. With little Raph.. it's more complicated, they boy stick like a glue at the genius from the first moment, whenever Don is staying up late or had so many late nights in his lab, lil Raph will come and crave attention from him, they have common ground on that Don will stop things whenever they boy visits. With Mike.. Don loves that boy and lets him do whatever he wants, even tie a bow in his mask tails. I'm not sure about the relationship between Don and little Leo though, need to work that one.

Like on the other hand adult Raph had rocky start with little Mike but in the end he'll protect that little boy with his whole life. With Leo he'll watch anything what the boy wants even Space heroes. With little Don I'm not sure yet. Little Raph sees the adult version more as a mentor on how to control the anger and seek guidance on it, though when he is grown up I'm sure they'll have those brawling matches.

If you have any ideas what they would do, please tell, I'm open to ideas as there are some things in the open that I've not thought of yet.

And still haven't got an idea for the name of the au, oh well need to think about it too.

May I present you first designs for my au called 'Brothers Across Multiverse' (B.A.M for short) where almost all four brothers from 03 get teleported around to different universes like in example;

We have 03 Raph and 03 Donnie who stayed together and gets thrown into the 2012 universe (I have some art of that in my blog somewhere) and meet the young turtle tots and their father there.

Then we have 03 Leo who got thrown to the Rise universe (got a one shot story kinda in my blog too.. maybe I'll tag them all so they are easy to find) and etc.

Rest I'll keep a secret for now to avoid spoilers and actually write the story (been thinking about it a lot while at work so uh.. its rotting my brain at least but never get anything on paper so to say)

It was a struggle to even finish these two as I almost always were not happy about the details I made, or the colours of their clothes (looking at you Raph geez he was a struggle)

It's nice to end the year with some turtle kids who have taken over my head a long time now. Plus I got an idea of the onesie I have and imagine that 03 turtles might have something like this.. since Don does like dinos and Raph might match with him as good big bro he is, idk.

Who knows what next year brings... Mostly more turtles I guess since they took over my life/art for now.

Shdhdm Idk who remembers the doodle I made of these 03 siblings from a few weeks ago and now I got them some colors that I'm fine with.. atleast for now. And my brain couldn't let me make them full human.. they had to have some mutation like in X-men, they look human (atleast when they cover up their reptile skin) but they all have some sort of powers (including that Donnie is the smartest of them all, but that's not the power tho what I'm talking about).

And this was a good excuse to practise backgrounds, tho this.. au needs a name so gotta brainstorm that too.

Now I noticed that moon is just yellow spot lol, oh well can't bother with it. It's now yellow spot. Let's pretend I used time on it to make it look okay

Found old art from last year about TMNT x ATLA mix au (I don't even have a proper name for this au haha) where 03 boys (because I love these boys so much) have element powers. Leo having water, Raph having fire and Mikey having air. And Donnie? He's non-bender but that doesn't mean he can't fight, he has his science etc to match the skills that he lacks.

Facts that I kinda remember from months ago as I never wrote it down anywhere (which I regret):

-Leo is the oldest of the turtles, Raph coming close second, then Donnie and lastly Mikey

- Donnie and Raph grew up together as kids and didn't have a parent like figure growing up so they depend on each other (Raph most likely keeping his younger bro safe no matter what) and they are from fire nation

- This I kinda remember hazily that did I decide to make Mikey as the avatar role? It could make sense but not sure.

- but other fact from Mikey is that he was raised by Leatherhead (and maybe Utroms? I don't know) till something happened to them.

- Leo was raised by Splinter in one of the water tribes to be the best warrior of his tribe to protect the ones he loves

- Donnie wears purple "make up" on his close to his eyes as it was a gift from Raph when they were young

- And Donnie wears size too big clothes that Raph (might have or not) stole while growing up as they fit him but not the other, but Donnie doesn't mind.

That might be all what I remember but then again it has been months.

Weird idea I had, what's been bothering my brain few days now is like:

2003 version of the brains and the brawn with idea of them being two 'dads' for some kids of other universe turtle tots. Been stuck that I have two ideas, 2012 or Rise tots for them to raise instead of Splinter can't decide which one tho. Plus they got transported to other universe etc, maybe I'll do a comic or a story about it.

The idea is basically tmnt x buddy daddies kinda mixture where they are brothers (even if they aren't blood related on this but raised as brothers from very young age by their universe Splinter).

Been stuck with naming these two when they raise the kids tho.. don't wanna mix up names right?

Which groub of kids could they raise, 2012 or Rise ones? I have one comic idea but need help on deciding this important detail for it

Decided to redesign my human 03 Leo's hair, tbh it looks much better now as he looks less bald.

And little stuff I wrote about him that I thought would fit his character.

In case my handwriting sucks/can't be read:

- uses the nicknames Leo, Fearless (Raph named him), Shifter (Mikey gave that one)

- uses katanas

- human with turtle genetics (has plastron, shell and scales around the body which can be hidden with clothes etc.)

- oldest of the four siblings

- shapeshifter (got that skill as a young boy, not sure how yet), mainly uses animal forms (cat is his fave one) and is training to transform to humans which is a slow process.

- in human form he sometimes uses cat ears (mostly to have better hearing)

- but if you spook him/got him off guard the ears pop up

- he has a crush on someone (Donnie knows it only)

- cat form is his fave form to use on recon missions or sneaking around

And bonus that his dad is a humanoid rat (I don't even dare to make him a human, he is a rat dad who raises four human kids)

There is a lot of info.. maybe I'll get around and make his siblings information too. Been thinking what could be a good name for this au.. let's just call it 'Our dad is a rat' au until I get a better one for the name.

Finally got this done. It has been like what , a few weeks since that poll I made, got zero ideas for a picture at first. Then doodled first, started to ink it and then hated it. Then got this idea and got stuck in my head so I had to do it. Plus listening to Beetlejuice musical album a lot at work does do wonders.

And those snakes... Who knows who they are 👀

Who do you think could be Lydia? Or someone else from that movie/musical? I have some ideas but who knows do I do them sometime or nah.
