I don't want to derail any already going Ariana Delane posts, but haven't seen this brought up?
This isn't just a police failing, it is a first responder failing
Yes the police as they are now should have shown up to take statements and investigate and, if they're first, help any injured... but usually firefighters and then ems should be on the scene even before that, and are far better trained to handle situations like that
Yes the police were 4 hours late, but I think the more distressing question is why were they still the first on the scene?
