Controversial take, but I am really glad that the DSMP finale pointed out the obvious fact that C! Dream was the hero and C! Tommy was the villain. Dream was almost wholly in the right with the only bad things being what he did to characters other than Tommy. And Tommy always caused problems ever since he first got on the server, Tommy only made things worse with his selfishness and refusal to accept accountability or punishment.

Honestly wish that moment lasted longer, because somehow C! Tommy apologist are still binding over backwards to defend that brat and it's ridiculous. Only thing that would've improved that finale is when Tommy realizes he's always been in the wrong at every turn, he starts begging for forgiveness or even thanking Dream for all that he's done. Oh also no Nuke, just let Dream enjoy his happy ending creating his ideal world and Tommy has to work on forever earning Dreams forgiveness.

To be fair, ppl bash on c!phil a LOT. I can understand them feeling defensive over more anti-phil posts being made, yknow?

I think they're overexaggerating (because I'm a c!Phil basher) There may be a lot of c!Phil haters- and for a good reason- but his character also has a pretty dedicated fanbase. They shouldn't worry about today's stream (It's probably as they said a cc!Tommy habit that leaked into roleplay- kinda sweet, but I think we all caught on that it was somewhat out of place) I just feel that it's 1. A preemptive attack against the fans intelligence- for the reasons above (Phil is a bad father even without c!Tommy's help, c!Phil critics don't really need anymore reasons to hate him) and 2. Completely out of place. The scene was highly emotional for Tommy fans, and all Phil apologists could think of (and publically comment on minutes after the stream) was that a small offhand mention of their favorite character will result in something disastrous. Like no, no one will automatically jump on Phil's bones to hate on him, most are sad at the implications rather than angry. Tommy fans have literally everything else in the stream to worry about. Kinda conceited ngl.

Anyway. That's all that I'll say on the matter. I've been vocal of my dislike for c!Phil before, anyone who follows me knows this. Any c!Phil fan who choses to interact with this post/blog won't receive an answer. I don't want to waste my time.

I see your point and it does make sense but consider if we are talking within the confines of lore. Nobody was around to see his attempt, it was after Dream blew up his stuff underneath his house and yes it could be seen that he was trying to hide stuff from Dream but consider the fact that Dream never said there were any rules and Tommy wasn’t necessarily trying to hide stuff. It was things he already had collected. Back to the main point being that nobody was around for his attempt so he couldn’t have been doing it for pity points.

Yeah, but if he DID jump, the death message would have been enough to garner pity points (in my opinion)

Can I ask why you hate c!Tommy so much? I got some of your reasoning by scrolling through your blog but I just wanted to hear, I always love to hear everyone’s opinions!

It's mainly how everyone seems to ally with him without a second thought. And the only people that didn't like him were people whom he had betrayed or used (Technoblade during the Exile Arc, Dream throughout the entire server(I can go off on a tangent just for that)).

So where to start with the C! Tommy bashing? Hmm- how about how he’s a massive asshole who mistreats all his friends and then refuses to accept punishment, in spite of the fact he’s practically alone in the finale because no one could stand him, some fanatics are still convinced he was the best most loved person ever 🙄

This! I feel like C!Puffy(being C!Dream's canon mom) would've been trembling in her attempts to hold back from slaughtering Tommy for hurting her duckling :(

Everyone only does show up at the end because of how Tommy was still a 'child', either way!
