Hey, not judging or anything, but is there a reason you don't describe what's in your art besides the characters? I can't read any of the text in it and because of brain fog its hard for me to tell what's going on in it sometimes, so it's a little disappointing to not be able to access all of it, especially because I really like your art :(
!!!! no ur entirely correct actually!!! when i was doing ids i didn’t have the spoons to add the text but ur entirely right n i’ll def keep that in mind!! i’m sorry for not including it before but thank u for reminding me!!
not as good as having it on the original post i know but:
for the character lineups it’s just their names beside them!
for the sam page, the playlist is: baby i got the death rattle - los campesinos, stage 4 fear of trying - frank iero, yours & mine - lucy dacus, no plan - hozier, i will - mitski, a complete list of fears - the yellow dress, c’mon baby cry - orville peck. in the right hand drawing he’s saying “d-darlin’!” and in the bottom drawing he’s saying “hey there, puppydog”!!
for vincent, there’s a note next to him pointing to his heart locket, saying it’s with lovely. the playlist is: cologne - beabadoobee, pools - glass animals, dinner & diatribes - hozier, your body my temple - will wood, lovers rock - tv girl, cute thing - car seat headrest, gooey - glass animals, from eden - hozier, glue song - beabadoobee and clairo!! on the left there’s lyrics from pools by glass animals, and near the bottom there’s a note that reads “he smells nice. peppery? like patchouli. maybe notes of leather.”
for vega there’s a note saying that his hair goes to his mid-back. the playlist is: laplace’s angel - will wood, modern day cain - idkhow, it will come back - hozier, gallery piece - of montreal, blood infections - frank iero, oleander - mother mother, thermodynamic lawyer esq - will wood, daydream in blue - i monster, you know what they do to guys like us in prison - my chemical romance. in the top left there’s lyrics from thermodynamic lawyer, in the drawing next to it he’s saying “shhh…” and below that he’s saying “i’ve missed you”!!

thank u for letting me know how to make posts more accessible, totally slipped my mind!! i hope this helps u out, if not lmk what could help!!

Lazard Avenue is a project designed by Newsam Construction + Catlin Stothers Design and is located in Mont-Royal, Québec, Canada. Photography by Drew Hadley.

The option to downsize was not an option for the empty nesters who have resided in this home for over twenty-five years. Situated in a prestigious neighbourhood in Montreal, the sprawling residence has been the venue for many social events, dinner parties and family gatherings. With grandchildren on the way, the homeowners elected to embark on a renovation that included several rooms in the home. The objective was to inject a modern aesthetic into a new kitchen, library, master bedroom and en suite, while respecting the classic architectural details throughout the rest of the home.
The kitchen had been relocated to the garage in a previous renovation, which presented several design challenges. Low concrete ceilings, ventilation ducts and cinderblock walls required diligence in achieving a plan that would create the illusion of height and light. Sombre cabinetry from the previous kitchen gave way to a brighter palette of white and bleached butternut. White surface-mounted monopoints add architectural interest and juxtapose a sculptural suspension with an industrial influence, over the dining table. Concealed LED strips add ambient lighting for evenings.
Creating a highly efficient space for cooking and an atmosphere conducive to entertaining both large and intimate gatherings were the primary design criteria for the kitchen. The floor to ceiling matte white cabinetry conceal appliances and an abundance of storage, while providing contrast to the warm hues of the blonde wood. Handle free cabinetry maintains a minimal design while an integrated ash butcher block in the island allows two people to simultaneously prep meals.
Floating wood picture rails create a mini-gallery that enable the homeowners, avid art collectors, to easily display and interchange different pieces of art at various times.
Walls were relocated on the second-floor plan and reconfigured to include a library, spacious closets, and a luxurious en suite of dramatic proportions. The custom teak library leading into the master bedroom, stores a prolific collection of drawings and art books. To eliminate the feeling of separate rooms, all door openings were raised to full height and maximum widths.
The minimal design of the master bedroom marries old and new, and is anchored by white oak engineered floors. A shortage of closet space had previously forced the homeowners to use other bedroom closets for storage. Reclaiming a third of the library, created a spacious walk-in closet for her, and a generous wall of closets for him in the master bedroom.
Large white oak panels dominate the bedroom and wrap around the partition wall into the master en suite. Consistent materials create a visual flow and unify the two rooms as a single volume. The en suite is easily accessed from two entries, with full-height pocket doors providing privacy as needed.
Spacious yet intimate, the master en suite features materials selected for their respective organic compositions, which enhance an inviting atmosphere. Oversized porcelain tiles maintain classic characteristics in a modern format. The veining of each tile was scrutinized in advance of the installation to ensure both a sense of movement and a seamless flow between the walls and floors. Radiant floors transition seamlessly into the European shower and towards a concealed linear drain.

Montreal dancer creates unique vocabulary using symbolic gestures based on the alphabet
@SuzanneBethMiller uses symbolic gestures based on the alphabet. Instead of watching the performance you’ll try to read it. @Ladansesurlesroute Nov 29, 12:30-1:30 @MacMontreal #museum La Rotonde @MindyYanMiller @AllanPaivio @concordia #art #dance
A dancer stands in the middle of the stage, folds one forearm over the other and lifts and lowers her elbows in a sultry wave, forming the ebb and flow of the letter “S”. A chilling voice sweeps over the stage in a whisper, dissipating like ashes on the wind: “Suzanne.” Her arms extend above her head, a zig-zag for a “Z,” hands clasp together to form the letter “A”. I strain to decipher each…

PREFAB77 / 7P’S MARKETING ANALYSIS
Product
The creative artworks of Prefab77 are that off layered screen prints, metallic inks, stencilling, served on a variety of canvases such as fabriano papers or wooden slabs.
Evidently using art as a form of expression, the striking pieces below highlight the aesthetic of prefabb77.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
 bold prints / vivid colouring / British influence / rebellion culture / street style / graffatti art / politics / social issues / popular culture / maximalism
There is variety in prefab77s work. The above examples could potentially be from two different artists and thus prefab77 may benefit from narrowing down their style and having a set brand identity.
The relevance off the influences on the prefab77 work adds character and generates excitement for those interested as it reflects what is going in in society today. It is modern, millennial, relevant
Price
Pricing on these items can range from small (15x15cm) £33 prints to larger (710x1010mm) £210 prints. The varied pricing strategy places prefab77 as a ‘premium / mid-market’ brand, thus increasing their target market. Making art accessible to a larger demographic with both a lower and higher price point allows many to tap into the prefab77 experience despite costs. Some collaborations (Johnathon Levine) are available at a higher price point.
Place
“Prefab77 is an artist who has origins in the north of England, California and New York” - Prefab77 website
International recognition in a city like New York suggests the brand success and development since its origins in England. Perhaps these origins that are evident throughout his pieces have contributed to a USP and global recognition. Using the streets, (e.g. Osbourne, Newcastle) alongside exhibitions as a creative space for his work, channels the rebelliousness and ‘street style aura’ his work exudes.
Previous exhibition locations include:
2017
May - Jonathan Levine Projects - New Jersey USA, PREFAB77 Solo Show - Gangs, Tribes and Fraternities
2016
December - Vertical Gallery, Chicago, US xii/xii Group show
December - Westbank Gallery - Gonzo Group show, London UK
July - Urban In Ibiza, Westbank Gallery, Ibiza
June - Mural Festival, Station16 Gallery, Montreal
April - The Saint, UNIT44 Gallery, UK
2015
October - Unmasked, Inner State Gallery, Detroit USA
July - Damned If You Do, Bored If You Don’t, Hoxton Gallery, London, UK
March - 12yr Anniversary, White Walls San Francisco USA
Promotion
The use of social media perhaps dominates prefab77s promotional mix. Accumulating a following of 15.1k on Instagram, their strong online presence allows the brand to interact and engage with their followers.  The creative app provides a visual platform in which prefabb77 can both show off work and be informative throughout their bio and picture captions. The visual aspect of Instagram allows followers to be part of the prefab77 experience if they are unable to obtain or afford the physical product. The Facebook page lacks with a smaller following of 4.3k despite regular updates.
 Other promotion found in the form of their online website, where artwork can be advertised and bought.
People
Behind the prefab77 brand is artist Peter Manning, who is described on the website as a “Gentle Young Giant”. Not overly promoted, the obscurity of Manning is intriguing and captivating, allowing the art to speak for itself, generating hype and excitement circulating the brand.
Physicality
With a limited physical presence, it is therefore hard for consumers and followers to gain a sensory experience with the prefab77 brand, an experience that today’s millennials crave. Without a flagship store, and physical work only appearing in one off exhibitions, and various other smaller spaces (i.e. Dr. Martens Newcastle store) this also hinders the promotion process and limits followers from obtaining prefab77 art works.
 Process
Prefab77s basic process is that off making the mixed media artwork, promoting it on channels such as Instagram, their online website, outdoor street spaces or creative exhibitions. The promotion also acts as a sales tool whereby pieces can be bought on their online website for example after browsing.

I choose to listen to the river awhile, thinking river thoughts, before joining the night and the stars. — Edward Abbey
We left Toronto at the end of July bound for Québec with Nova Scotia in our sights. We didn’t make it to Nova Scotia. We followed the south shore of the Fleuve St-Laurent to the Bas-St-Laurent to the Golfe du St-Laurent all the way to the Gaspé before crossing over to the Côte du Nord where it became the Route des Baleines (the Whale Route) at Les Escoumins (an Inuu settlement dating back 9,000 years). We followed the St. Lawrence all the way back to Lake Ontario never veering too far inland and always camping as close to the water’s edge as possible.
We know how we feel in proximity to the ocean. Now there is scientific evidence that proves that even just a view of the ocean can boost a person’s mental health. Dr. Wallace J. Nichols explained in a Ted Talk that water holds vast cognitive, emotional, psychological and social benefits. “Nature is medicine – a walk on the beach; a surfing session; a stroll through the woods heals us. It fixes what is broken inside of us. Nature can reduce our stress, it can make us more creative and bring us together.”
We spent hours trying to describe in words, the smells, colors and feel of the river, particularly once it became tidal, beyond Québec City. The ocean and the tides feel and smell like home to us, like a cleansing breath, the Fleuve St-Laurent lifted our moods and filled our heads with creative energy. An endorphin shot that had us hungry for more.
#gallery-0-53 { margin: auto; } #gallery-0-53 .gallery-item { float: left; margin-top: 10px; text-align: center; width: 33%; } #gallery-0-53 img { border: 2px solid #cfcfcf; } #gallery-0-53 .gallery-caption { margin-left: 0; } /* see gallery_shortcode() in wp-includes/media.php */
Our route was not planned. When we travelled through the Gaspé three years ago we concentrated on Forillon National Park and Percé Rock. We visited neither this time round. We did, however, return to two campgrounds which we loved just as much this time, both, of course, overlooking the St-Laurent.
#gallery-0-54 { margin: auto; } #gallery-0-54 .gallery-item { float: left; margin-top: 10px; text-align: center; width: 25%; } #gallery-0-54 img { border: 2px solid #cfcfcf; } #gallery-0-54 .gallery-caption { margin-left: 0; } /* see gallery_shortcode() in wp-includes/media.php */
What did we do and love this time?
Farm Stands – we feasted on the summer harvest from Saint-Mathieu-de-Beloeil to Riviere-Madeleine to La Malbaie and back to Toronto.
#gallery-0-55 { margin: auto; } #gallery-0-55 .gallery-item { float: left; margin-top: 10px; text-align: center; width: 33%; } #gallery-0-55 img { border: 2px solid #cfcfcf; } #gallery-0-55 .gallery-caption { margin-left: 0; } /* see gallery_shortcode() in wp-includes/media.php */
Ciderie St-Nicholas – we tried two kinds of cider, sparkling and crackling, and we loved them both!
Basque Cheeses and Smoked Fish – the Basque were the earliest Europeans to make their way to the St-Laurent (unfortunately to hunt whales) and left their culinary mark near Trois Pistoles on the south shore.
Signage for Laitiers and Casse-Crôutes – giant ice cream cones for the former and boxes of giant fries made using two by four pieces of lumber to represent the fries for the later. Kitsch folk art in the best way.
#gallery-0-56 { margin: auto; } #gallery-0-56 .gallery-item { float: left; margin-top: 10px; text-align: center; width: 25%; } #gallery-0-56 img { border: 2px solid #cfcfcf; } #gallery-0-56 .gallery-caption { margin-left: 0; } /* see gallery_shortcode() in wp-includes/media.php */
Le Vieux Moulin in St-Flavie – makers of everything honey. We visited without expectation and left smitten. We are not Mead lovers but their dry honey wine was a winner as was the tree sap honey…imagine sitting in the middle of a boreal forest with your eyes closed and drinking in the sweet scent of the surrounding trees.
#gallery-0-57 { margin: auto; } #gallery-0-57 .gallery-item { float: left; margin-top: 10px; text-align: center; width: 25%; } #gallery-0-57 img { border: 2px solid #cfcfcf; } #gallery-0-57 .gallery-caption { margin-left: 0; } /* see gallery_shortcode() in wp-includes/media.php */
The smoked fish dips from Atkins et Freres in Mont-Louis.
St-Fabien-sur-mer – we learned quickly to follow any sign ending in sur-mer! There we enjoyed a simple Basque lunch on the beach.
#gallery-0-58 { margin: auto; } #gallery-0-58 .gallery-item { float: left; margin-top: 10px; text-align: center; width: 33%; } #gallery-0-58 img { border: 2px solid #cfcfcf; } #gallery-0-58 .gallery-caption { margin-left: 0; } /* see gallery_shortcode() in wp-includes/media.php */
The Alpine Cottage style bath houses at the municipal campground in Trois Pistoles. Adorable!
#gallery-0-59 { margin: auto; } #gallery-0-59 .gallery-item { float: left; margin-top: 10px; text-align: center; width: 33%; } #gallery-0-59 img { border: 2px solid #cfcfcf; } #gallery-0-59 .gallery-caption { margin-left: 0; } /* see gallery_shortcode() in wp-includes/media.php */
The croissants at Pain d’Exclamation in La Malbaie! Still wondering why didn’t we stop to restock on our way west???
Campsite 19 at Camping des Érables in La Malbaie. Complete privacy in a terraced site with a perfectly stunning view of the St-Laurent.
We were invited to stay at the most perfect 100-year-old cottage in Cap d’Aigle. We watched an incredible thunder and lighting storm from the safety of the ample porch overlooking the St-Laurent. We scaled the cliff down to the shoreline and watched Minke Whales dance in the surf. We ate, drank, laughed and shared cooking, porch breakfasts, and wood fires with our generous hosts Felicity, Sarah, Robbie and Pierre.
#gallery-0-60 { margin: auto; } #gallery-0-60 .gallery-item { float: left; margin-top: 10px; text-align: center; width: 33%; } #gallery-0-60 img { border: 2px solid #cfcfcf; } #gallery-0-60 .gallery-caption { margin-left: 0; } /* see gallery_shortcode() in wp-includes/media.php */
The ferry between Trois Pistoles and Les Escoumins – we love a ferry! especially one where we can watch Beluga and Minke Whales frolicking in the river.
#gallery-0-61 { margin: auto; } #gallery-0-61 .gallery-item { float: left; margin-top: 10px; text-align: center; width: 33%; } #gallery-0-61 img { border: 2px solid #cfcfcf; } #gallery-0-61 .gallery-caption { margin-left: 0; } /* see gallery_shortcode() in wp-includes/media.php */
The Inuu run Tipi Campground at Les Escoumins – possibly the cleanest campground we have ever visited. Unfortunately there was a boiled water alert which is all too common in First Nations Communities in this country.
Parc National du Bic near Rimouski – a gorgeous marine park where we hiked, climbed rocks and enjoyed beaches that reminded us of Corsica. It was here that we first attempted to put the scent of the tidal river into words. Watching the fog roll in from our campsite in the morning was the icing on the cake.
#gallery-0-62 { margin: auto; } #gallery-0-62 .gallery-item { float: left; margin-top: 10px; text-align: center; width: 33%; } #gallery-0-62 img { border: 2px solid #cfcfcf; } #gallery-0-62 .gallery-caption { margin-left: 0; } /* see gallery_shortcode() in wp-includes/media.php */
Ask the river where it comes from? You will get no answer. Ask the river where it is going? You will get no answer because the river lives inside this very moment, neither in the past nor in the future, in this very moment only! — Mehmet Murat ildan
  The Saguenay River – we explored too little of what might be Canada’s best kept secret. This fjord leads to the Gulf of St. Lawrence and offers views that made us think we might be in Iceland or Norway. The Côte du Nord highway breaks at Tadoussac where a ferry service commutes cars to the other side of the Saguenay. If you are lucky, as we were, you will see Beluga Whales playfully feeding while you cross the river.
#gallery-0-63 { margin: auto; } #gallery-0-63 .gallery-item { float: left; margin-top: 10px; text-align: center; width: 50%; } #gallery-0-63 img { border: 2px solid #cfcfcf; } #gallery-0-63 .gallery-caption { margin-left: 0; } /* see gallery_shortcode() in wp-includes/media.php */
Discovering the St. Lawrence Parks near Cornwall. We camped on Morrison Island (a happy accident) which is a campground within a migratory bird sanctuary on the river. We arrived, without reservations, of course, and after hours (it happens), and during a downright frightening thunderstorm. By the time we were set up in a campsite the sky cleared and the sun was shining.
#gallery-0-64 { margin: auto; } #gallery-0-64 .gallery-item { float: left; margin-top: 10px; text-align: center; width: 50%; } #gallery-0-64 img { border: 2px solid #cfcfcf; } #gallery-0-64 .gallery-caption { margin-left: 0; } /* see gallery_shortcode() in wp-includes/media.php */
We avoided major highways on this roadtrip as much as possible but as we neared Montreal we travelled briefly on Route 20. At a rest stop we encountered Interzone 3, an artist project by Mathieu Latulippe, which was part of a larger project called Truck Stop. It wasn’t until we arrived back in Toronto that we realized it comprised of 15 different roadside works between Montreal and Quebec City. Wishing we had known as we would have happily visited each one.
#gallery-0-65 { margin: auto; } #gallery-0-65 .gallery-item { float: left; margin-top: 10px; text-align: center; width: 50%; } #gallery-0-65 img { border: 2px solid #cfcfcf; } #gallery-0-65 .gallery-caption { margin-left: 0; } /* see gallery_shortcode() in wp-includes/media.php */

If you want to get a sense of just how many saints there are in this world just drive through Quebec! It would seem that the list is infinite and that Quebec has tapped this list without needing to ever repeat a name. The saints denote towns, villages, cities, streets, rivers, and lakes. Have you ever heard of Saint-Télesphore, Saint-Polycarpe or Saint-Zotique? Our favourite saint in case you’re wondering …. Lawrence, obviously.
Travelling through la belle province we became inspired and began dreaming up new projects. Roadtrips, nature, and exploration offer inspiration we wouldn’t get any other way. We’re back in Toronto with a to-do-list inspired by our time in Quebec.
Be like a river. Be open. Flow. — Julie Connor

After a run through eight cities in 11 days, The Reklaws, along with Jade Eagleson and East Adelaide wrapped up the Winter’s A Beach Tour with a stop in Oshawa, ON on Thursday night.
The chilly winter air outside did nothing to slow down the pumped up all-ages audience in The Music Hall on King Street East. And from the time the doors opened and the country music fans starting coming into the building, to the end of The Reklaws encore and the last waves goodbye, this was a great representation of what the up-and-coming levels of Canadian country music can do when they get the chance.
After introductions from Jerry, Carolyn, and Pete from KX96, East Adelaide was the first act of the night to take the stage. And with a collection of songs that got the crowd going, they continued their work of introducing themselves as one to watch on the scene.
Young Hearts In Old Cars, Heaven, and a sweet cover of Shawn Mendes’ Lost In Japan did a fantastic job of pumping up the Oshawa audience. And when the band played Back On and their first radio single, You Don’t Get To Love Me to close out the set, everyone had bought in. Mike and Andrew are seasoned musicians and entertainers, and with the support of their bandmates Thursday night they reinforced our belief that East Adelaide is ready for more.
We know the boys are getting ready to do some more writing, which will lead to more recording, and they’re itching to play shows all summer long. So when you see their name on the bill, get a ticket.
This slideshow requires JavaScript.
Rising country star, Jade Eagleson was next to the stage, and this young man went all in. The smalltown boy and his guitar were centre stage and ready to go, and in eight songs, he left his mark.
We first saw Jade Eagleson on stage at Boots & Hearts where he won the Emerging Artist Showcase competition in 2017, and since then he’s only been getting stronger. As an entertainer, he looks more comfortable, as a singer he’s clearly finding his voice and his strengths, and as someone who loves to be on stage playing country music, he’s a natural.
Note: We aren’t guaranteeing anything here, but don’t be surprised if we see Eagleson’s name on the CCMA nomination list for the Rising Star Award in 2019.
The highlight of Eagleson’s set came at the end with his brand new single, Count The Ways and his first release (which has racked up nearly 9 million plays on YouTube alone), Got Your Name On It. It was fantastic to see people in the crowd singing along with his songs, and we’re sure will see it again.
We also have to give a nod though to the earlier part of the set that lead us to that point. Eagleson’s cover of Jake Owen’s Down To The Honky Tonk was a hit with the Oshawa crowd, and his rendition of Shania Twain’s Any Man Of Mine was a smash and remains one of our current favourite pieces of any country music set.

Before the night’s main event we got maybe the most ridiculous and hilarious countdown video in our live show memory. And as the clock ticked down from 10 minutes to zero, the buzz in the room grew and the anticipation built for The Reklaws.
As CCMA winners, Juno nominees, hometown heroes, and now, tour headliners, it’s safe to say that Jenna and Stuart are on a roll. And as they finished up the Winter’s A Beach Tour on Thursday night, there was happiness in their voices, on their faces, and in the way the duo moved around the stage. The singing siblings played through their debut album, starting with Missing You and Raised On The Radio. They sounded great, the band was tight, the show was off to a good start, but what we saw on the floor was what made it a moment.
The all-ages crowd in Oshawa was singing along from the jump. Album cuts, not yet radio chart hits we on the lips of fans and pointed back at the stage. It was the kind of thing we’re used to seeing when headliners are on stage, and it should serve sign that The Reklaws are getting to that spot.
#gallery-0-15 { margin: auto; } #gallery-0-15 .gallery-item { float: left; margin-top: 10px; text-align: center; width: 50%; } #gallery-0-15 img { border: 2px solid #cfcfcf; } #gallery-0-15 .gallery-caption { margin-left: 0; } /* see gallery_shortcode() in wp-includes/media.php */
The singing picked up from there, getting even louder for #1 single, Feels Like That and again for the one that put them on the map, Hometown Kids. And then we got a special little something when the duo covered Shallow, with Jenna’s voice taking over and wowing the crowd. We’ve seen the video of the track (and included it in our recent Awesome Country Covers post), but seeing it live as a nice surprise.
The set wrapped with a high energy medley that took us places we didn’t expect to go before they went all-in on Long Live The Night. But before the band could get off the stage the chants for one more song started ringing through the room.
The Reklaws came back out to the bright lights, and they delivered a sweet moment of appreciation for everything that has gone right for them, recognition that real life can be hard no matter who you are (as they paid tribute to their late grandfather), and love for the audience in front of them and all of the support they’ve been receiving from country music fans across Canada. They rolled from there into an encore that started with a dedication of John Denver’s Country Roads to their grandpa and a show-ending performance of the 2019 IIHF World Junior Championship on TSN theme song, Roots.
The Reklaws owned the attention of the fans in the room on Thursday night as they celebrated a successful tour that saw them headline in London, Toronto, Kitchener, Montreal, Ottawa, Kingston, Peterborough, and finally Oshawa.
We can’t wait to see what The Reklaws have up their sleeves for their next headlining tour!
