Darren's art is finally awarded with a hobby enthusiasm plaque. Since Cassandra is at work and the kids are in school, Marissa and he head to Doc Alan's Hangout to celebrate. The two of them have been frequenting the place for brunch for years.

Dirk stops by the house when they're on their way out, so they take him with them.

We start the rotation with the Goth family, as usual. The second part of the week begins shortly before dawn on Friday, and it's a nice, peaceful morning.

Marissa is gourging on some takeout leftovers, since she's been up for a while, not sleeping very well again. Meanwhile Cassandra sneaks into her daughter's room to play on Isabel's laptop while she's sleeping. The family cats are attending to their cat business, and the rest (meaning Darren, Alexander, and young Gunther) are too busy snoring to be pictured.

Alexander starts working as a natural scientist; it’s not his preferred field but you got to start somewhere. First day he’s home, though, Trent Traveller happens to join the family for dinner, and almost everyone catches a cold from him. 

It spreads further when the next day, Alexander meets with a couple people he knows from college. Luckily, it’s just a cold and everyone feels better soon.

The Goths

[Starting from this rotaion, I’ll be adding posts with my sims’ info to regular gameplay posts. It’s for me, mostly, but if you’re also interested in sims’ traits and such, enjoy.]

We left the Goths in their new house where they moved after their family mansion got corrupted by a bad piece of CC and subsequently demolished. Here we have Cassandra and Darren, their kids Isabel and Gunther, Cassandra’s step-mother Marissa, and their cats Cymmi (gray) and Crow (brown). Also, at the start of the week, Cassandra’s little brother finally returns from college. There’s not enough room in the house, though, so for now, freshly educated Alexander will be camping in the back yard. Luckily, he's into everything nature, so it’s not a big deal. Until the snow starts.

Back in the Goth household, 

Mortimer is busy taking care of his grandchildren; little Gunther demands a lot of attention and thankfully, grandpa Mortimer has a lot of it to spare.

Marissa is busy being the lady of the house.

Darren is struggling to hold on to a job in the comics industry, while Cassandra has no trouble whatsoever with her career as a scientist. Their schedules don’t match, so they mostly see each other either in their bed or in their bathroom.

Isabel is adorable.

The family cats, Crow and Cymmi, are well.

The Goth family is first. 

Cassandra is now married to Darren Dreamer, and Mortimer is married to Marissa Cleveland (nee Rutherford) from Belladonna Cove. Alexander recently had a birthday and became a teenager. Darren’s son Dirk is already in college.

At the beginning of the week:

Cassandra gives births to her and Darren’s daughter Isabel.

Two cats are adopted: Crow (female) and Cymmi (male). They don’t really get along.
