Summer Event 2022

Okay, I finally found the time to do this!

All in all, I really enjoyed the event. The costumes were definitely the strong point this time around. They are all fabulous, and it goes without saying that the wigs are too. In particular, I love the costume of the bench, it's completely a carnival costume from the samba school parades here in Brazil.

I also need to mention that I enjoyed the sandcastle competition. But honestly, with them being the focus of the event, I think I would prefer there were individual images of the LI's with Candy building one, and when you take all 5 images, you get an extra one (in this case, the group image), just like they did at Summer Event 2020. I'm still not sure if I'm going to edit it or not, anyway...

In this event Cecillie and Castiel decided to go to Praia do Farol, as it would be quieter because the surf competition was taking place at Praia da Baleia. With no stifling crowds or Crowstorm fans around them, they took the day to relax on the sand. They walked, drank refreshments and watched some people playing beach volleyball, they even bet each on a team and cheered as if it were a real competition. Castiel won the bet.

When sunset was near, Cecillie was enjoying the last rays of the sun to tan while reading a good book and feeling the sea breeze, and Castiel was sitting on a lounge chair next to her playing music on his guitar.

In parallel, Margot convinced Lysander to go visit his brother this time, as they couldn't attend last year's festival because of a group of students who were at the farm. But when they arrived at the beach house, they discovered that the surf competition would take place elsewhere and that they would never arrive on time (as in the canonical event, they thought it would be at Praia do Farol because it usually happened there). It was a little frustrating, but they ended up putting it aside because of Thia's innocent animation, she was always happy to see her uncles.

Everyone ended up having a fun family day. Among all the activities they did in the morning, the boat trip to the natural pools, the ball game at sea and the shell hunt were the ones that stood out the most. In the afternoon, while the adults rested under the umbrella, whether talking, drinking or just sunbathing, the child was still full of energy and trying to make sand sculptures. The idea of a sandcastle competition ended up coming up and everyone dedicated themselves to it until the end of the day, it was agreed that Thia would be the judge. Margot was the winner and, as a prize, she received the most beautiful and different shell the little girl found, the kind that say you can hear the sea if you put it close to your ear. At first, she was very jealous and said that the shell was just hers, but she thought it was fair to put it as a prize as it seemed so special to her.

Before heading home, they decided to take a last walk across the sand, and in that they ended up meeting up with Cecillie and Castiel. When the stars began to appear in the sky, everyone gathered at the beach rest area and had an impromptu lual just as an excuse to make small talk. Thia ended up sleeping early on her mother's lap, but the adults stayed up late singing some songs and enjoying the good company.

Wedding Castiel

I was seriously wondering if I would post this now or wait until I've edited all the images I use in my headcanon. But I couldn't stand it, I'm too emotional to just let the days go by!

What a perfect episode! It was a great way to end things, even though it still makes me wish for more. I had a lot of fun playing, I laughed and cried, I missed the mark. Congratulations to those involved! @Beemoov @chinomiko

Castiel was a love from start to finish. Whether in his sarcastic humor, in his jokes, in his little insecurities and especially in his affectionate gestures. I will always keep all this in my heart.

By the way, since I made this episode my first post, I think it's wise to introduce my main MCL OC. This is Cecillie le Bousier (now Veilmont), Amoris' best-known florist. I will try to post more about her going forward.

After a busy day, I was finally able to finish this! I am satisfied with the result. Now, about the event itself... Well, let's start positive and end negative, just like in life.

All contexts are cute and the images are really beautiful! I like how Castiel's image has a fun energy, but despite that, I still wish it conveyed something more charming or romantic, like Rayan's or Hyun's (I think it would suit my Candy's personality better). Despite that, Cecillie was also happy to be surrounded by dogs.

I love this year's outfits, they're perfect (even though you have to admit that Candy has reptile skin to be able to stand in the snow and withstand the cold with such short clothes). I also liked the color palette, so I didn't even bother to change them. As you can see, I just added pantyhose, gloves, a scarf and leg warmers. It should be warmer that way.

That said, it was weird not having Aunt Agatha's calendar this year and yet I feel like the variety is running out... Honestly, another memory minigame, really? Taking care of the flower (2019 Valentine's Day event), the bird (2021 music event) and even the ghost (2021 Halloween event) was simpler! Also, I think the moments with the LI's could be longer, but anyway...

Ah! In the end, I can grumble all I want, I always get a warm heart when they release an event or a new episode. So I'm going to shut up now and, instead of complaining about what I didn't have, I'm going to thank you for what you showed me.

It's a little early for this, but I don't know if I'll post anything else until then, so... Merry Christmas!
