SO, Elle despises Oliver, and Oliver despises Elle, and it’s a Quidditch rivalry that fills the stands past capacity when it comes time for Ravenclaw vs Gryffindor matches, and Elle likes it that way. Except, perhaps somewhere inside of her, Elle Davies doesn’t hate Oliver Wood as much as she likes to think. Just perhaps, while she shoots a loathsome glare his way as he raves about his most recent glorious win, her heart does a somersault. Just perhaps, as she word vomits (angrily, of course) to her dorm mates about the audacity of Oliver fucking Wood, something other than hate broils subtly within her stomach.

BUT, she doesn’t say this out loud, in fact she very easily doesn’t notice it. And anyway, she has more on her mind than boys. With her O.W.L exams approaching at the end of the year, and a rigorous training schedule to adhere to in preparation to slaughter the other houses in the infamous Quidditch House Cup, she won’t have any thoughts of Oliver Wood other than how she’s going to absolutely smother him in their upcoming game.
