Reducing the covid isolation period to 1 day - a single day- when an infection can be contagious for up to 21 days is... unbelievably cruel.

Me, muttering at the shadows that dance along the walls of my cave: Look, all I'm saying is that if Sansa has a mini survivalist arc where she solos a part of her trip from White Harbor to The Wall, I would not be mad. No, no wait hear me out-

Finished S2 of Elementary last week. Spoilers under the cut.
I didn’t say anything about S1. Don’t have much to say other than I loved it. The way Sherlock and Joan’s relationship developed and how that culminated in the climax of the Moriarty arc was fantastic.
S2 was pretty fun to watch. It was nice to get some episodes centered around Gregson and Marcus, in particular. It was nice to see Marcus needing some space after the shooting, and for him not to accept Sherlock’s apology right away.
The moments between Marcus and Joan were pretty sweet, esp. considering she called him family back in S1.
I was not expecting them to kill off Alistair. That bummed me out, though I did like how his character/background was expanded on in that episode.
Sherlock’s monologue about partnership to Gregson tho ;w;
Also, just every moment where Sherlock antagonizes Mycroft is *chef’s kiss* it’s just beautiful.
Speaking of Mycroft, I kinda wished they did something different with his arc in terms of him coming in between Sherlock and Joan. Not entirely (I do like the MI6/Le Milieu arc), but the romance/affair/idk bw Joan & Mycroft felt...not out of character, but it felt like undercooked almost? Not that I blame the actors for that, I think they did a good job with what little screentime they had.
Also - I know it’s a thing to have Sherlock intervene in Watson’s romantic relationships to some degree (at least, I remember that from the RDJ movies). I love Mycroft’s response after Sherlock confronts him at Diogenes about pursuing Joan (honestly, I’m a sucker for the “she’ll find someone when she’s ready” “and there you’ll be, to pick them apart, find flaws, and hoard her gifts to yourself” type of call out scenes), but I also felt that we didn’t get to see that side of Sherlock much. I feel that that comes down to Joan not getting much attention this season. You see her go on some dates in the first couple episodes, and Sherlock makes a comment here and there, but he doesn’t work to try and break up/get in the way of her relationships the way he does when Mycroft is around. Idk, just a thought.
That said, god damn the Le Milieu arc ;w; and Sherlock’s reaction to Joan’s disappearance. “She’s the person you love most in the world” destroyed me. It sucks that we don’t get to see Joan react to her kidnapping. I suppose the writers figured she’s the type to bottle up her feelings or set them aside, which I can see, too. Still would have been nice to see something given the situation with Jem being somewhat similar to the death of her patient.
Ugh, my heart broke when they had the conversation about Joan moving out, though. Sherlock took it so hard (and he’s so extra about it, I can’t). That’s another thing about S2 - I know it takes place over the course of a year. I kinda wish we’d have seen Joan express more of that desire to find her own place/not have her entire life revolve around Sherlock or their partnership.
That speech Sherlock gives her in the finale about the beauty of their partnership, though DX The way he tries so hard to get her to stay. And how he says he’ll change for her, I was beside myself gdi
)o’:
Looking forward to S3!

Weird dream night
I was stuck at like a confectionary place that doubled as a cult. Me and a bunch of other staff were trapped in a room surrounded by armed guards for an indefinite amount of time. The room fluctuated between darkness and very dim lighting. I don't know what the conflict was or why we were being held hostage in our workplace. At one point we're all sitting on the ground while the guards walk around us. There's this like air purifying machine that breaks or something after the guards mess with it. It makes a huge sound that triggers one of the staff members into a crying fit. As the guards walk away, I mutter "pendejos" under my breath.
The guards leave for a bit (?) allowing a small group of staff to look at the machine. Apparently, a part got tampered with by someone dumping chemicals into it that they shouldn't have??? Also the part didn't fit but the last time someone called for something similar the replacement took a while to arrive.
Guards come back eventually. There's a tense standoff at one point between two people - a hostage and one of the people leading the guards or something???? It ends and then suddenly there's a commotion.
The dream ends in the staff being relocated to this like really bright room with cream colored floors. It almost looks like a lecture hall? We get stuck there for like a weird re education program. There's candies and snacks handed out but I stay suspicious and don't eat anything. For whatever reason, I get the impression others don't either even if they pretend to be actively participating.
The last thing I remember is one of the speakers holding out something to me, encouraging me to try it. I mention not being able to due to having a sensitive stomach and they get this eery smile on their face and say something like "You won't eat" then move on.

Just woke up from a weird dream.
It was about a fake video game. It was a first person, 3D horror game. Like an indie walking simulator or something like that. Idk.
The PC was a guy named Jonah. Jonah had an off screen companion (who by this point was his love interest) but her name escapes me. Anyway, they're walking through a field and they end up in front of a wooden house. It's mid day. Apparently, this is around the end of the game. Jonah steps into the house, and the game suddenly feels like it's on rails. The rooms are nicely furnished, lots of wood and mirrors on the walls of varying sizes, but no visible reflection (I guess it wasn't programmed in the game, no idea). I forget if he was told by an NPC to go to this house, but for whatever reason, this house has messages on like walls and floors that become visible for a few seconds as Jonah passes by. The messages are mostly about the "rules" on how to play the final sequence. The notes repeatedly say that you should only read them as you walk by - aka no pausing the game, taking screenshots, etc. Like, there was a point where Jonah is walking while reading a message on the floor that's upside down and as he turns right side up the note changes to say something like "DON'T" and i cant remember the rest.
in total, there were eight "rules". At one point, Jonah steps out of the house into a yard leading to a different house that's identical in appearance to the last one. There's a figure waiting to take his elbow and walk with him, and I presume it's his companion, but then I got confused since she was supposed to be at his side from the beginning of the sequence. You don't get to see her face, and Jonah never turns to look at her. He just takes her elbow and they keep walking. They go into the second house, read the last of the notes and rules, then exit back onto a field. Ahead is a forest with a mountain in the distance. It's still midday.
Suddenly, the view changes into like a child's drawing of the landscape. There's a smiley face on the mountain and a short message that I think was like congratulating Jonah (and the player) on making it towards to the end. For a quick second, there's a flash where the drawing changes - the mountain is now sad, it's mouth turned down in a frown, and instead of congratulating Jonah the big note reads something like "I'm sorry".
That's about all I remember.
