The lights go dark over the guests and the royalty. Shrieks and exclamations resonated in the hall now dark as pitch. The Clubbian King was seized by his partner, and with a yelp the guards were at high alert making their way toward the last known spot the king had been dancing. The guards in the hallway corridor made their way toward the Ballroom some shouting instructions to those farther back to bring the lit candles they could grab as the darkened ballroom filled with the stirring and rushing anxiety of the Guests as guards hurried to find and protect their respective Royalty and ushered guests to some form of Safety until the lights were to be restored.

Rika jumps to the ready trying hard to keep her focus on Yao, who had certainly kept his cool.

“Oh, this is a bit of a change of pace. Not a good one though.” he says, more to himself as the murmur of the crowd really filled the hall.

“You sound pretty calm about this!” Rika exclaims.

Though the Struggle in the center of the ballroom as Sam pulls himself free of the masked Volker holding him back, he’s abruptly pulled back in for one final sudden dip before being dropped like a rag doll onto the hard tile floor.

The King of clubs struggles against his captor being pulled away from the center of the room, he cries out, pleading for help, that is until they back into a rather surly Guard, who had come to the ball to have a rare nice night out with his loving wife, Ready to fight the stranger for the King.

“Yer not gonna take another step, Unhand our King.” Anton growls brandishing his personal blade before making his lunge.

Do you think is going to go wrong during the festival

My guess, peasant revolts. With them talking about both “the girl from the southern area” (I would guess that’s Eliza) and the introduction of Clubbian Guards and the whispers of rebellion that was spoken of before, they’re building up to the eventual downfall of the Reign of The Embers. Plus, with the King getting completely wasted during the festival, it’s the best time for a peasant revolt. The royal guards are being inspected and the Clubbian guards are dealing with revolts near the outskirts of the kingdom, it’s a great opening

Hello Janthony, how are you? How are the kids?

"I am doing very well! Busy with making sure letters are assigned to their respective Owls and such! making sure they get out on time, and return is quite the job! Eevery and Mio are doing well, Mio just turned four, and eevery has begun to take much more interest in reading, which makes things easier for me, as I can let them be in the castle library all day, so long as I make sure everything is order by the end of the night."

"My Routine! Every morning I wake up, sometimes a bit late- Get dressed, brush my hair, wash my face, then I meet the others in the dining area, I usually have fruit and sweet Clubbian bread with honey."

"once we've all eaten, our captain assigns us our posts, they don't usually change, but you never know! And then we go and trade places with the guard who took the post at night! there are usually a lot more guards who make rounds at night."

"that's not every day though! a lot of the guards get two days that they may do what they want with, business, leisure, training, visiting family.. that one depends on how close your family is, since mine is in Hearts, I just write! I write to my boyfreind too!"

As i understand, wearing a hat is just a Cultural Thing, and they do it all the time.. but do this world's rules aply about this? Like at the table, and when talking to higher ranking people (royals, guards..), and as a greeting to lift your hat, and when being inside a house? Also, do clubbian jokers wear Silly Jingle Hats? Generally, is it a choice? I understand some hats are hard to just take off casually but im curious

Story has it there once was a foolish man who had all the luck in the world, they climbed the highest mountain in clubs and bragged about their amount of luck and it how it surpassed even Lady Luck.

Miss Fortune had heard the slander and had the wind blow the hat from the man's head, in which all his luck had scattered to the land and they fell and didn't make it.

as a rule of thumb, this is used by grandparents to encourage to be down to earth and to be thankful for things you have. so some people might say adjust your cap or tighten your scarf to show respect. usually the bigger the hat is correlated with how lucky you are or blessed you can be.

so the hat stays on most of the times. unless you're probably begging ( but you would have to have messed up real bad)

as for the Spadians or diamonds, hats off in all formal places(Places of worship, government meetings)

you can take off your hat safely in private spaces, like your home.
