"always an angel, never a god", "forever is the sweetest con", "i'd give up forever to touch you," and "one sweet moment set aside for us" for the fic titles!!
SO SORRY I ONLY ANSWERED NOW work has me by the ankles this week but!!
always an angel, never a god: idk why i see ianthony in an au where ian’s like charon where he’s the bringer of the dead to the underworld and anthony’s a minor god/less worshipped being. both want to be More than what they are and they eventually bond over it after a false follower anthony dies
forever is the sweetest con: listen. Listen. courtney/arasha road trip au where they decide to drive back to LA instead after going to a con/work event on the other side of the country. slow burn that ends in a bittersweet realization that what they had on the road can’t happen when they’re back home xoxo
i’d give up forever to touch you: idk why i want this to be about baf legacy but!! perhaps cornelius brawne jr/simon bootles where cornelius is a ghost haunting the house but ultimately haunts simon’s demon ass for a Long time. basically follows him around and shits on the next generation’s until Whoops I’ve Grown Attached To You-itis hits the both of them
one sweet moment set aside for us: amangela vacation fic :) idk possibly another installation to my fic…just them in greece or barcelona or whatever for like a week getting to act like a couple. could possibly end with one of them saying ily :)
send me a made-up fic title and i’ll tell you what’d i write!

Youth
Edward Nashton grew up in Southern Connecticut with his muggle father, Edward Nashton Sr. A man who became his tormentor for years and years to come. In his younger years, there was no detection of magical attributes or traits within him; and the thought of such a gift seemed far from real especially when it came.  At the age of eleven, a man came to his small, disorganized home with unexpected news. He claimed Edward was a wizard, a muggle-born gifted with magical abilities and an invitation to hone these abilities at a place called Hogwarts, a school of Witchcraft and Wizardry.  He did not attend that year.  His father, Edward Sr., refused to acknowledge his son's extraordinary inheritance. An abuser of alcohol, drugs, and Edward. The soon to be twelve-year old boy had no idea how to control these powers he had, and that power lashed out in a consequential form.  On a crisp autumn night in October, Edward's father arrived home from an evening of drinking and gambling. His losses were because of Edward--the son he never wanted. Fists met the cheekbones and ribs of a defenseless child. Shards of glass puncturing tender flesh. An aluminum bat impacting an already down person. The pleas to stop, the wishes for the pain to end, the blend of emotions: anger, sadness, hurt--all intertwined into something powerful.  A flash of light, a pulse of energy--his father spiraling across the room  and colliding into the living room wall with a powerful thud.  He ran soon after that. Collecting remnants of the letters sent to him from Hogwarts and making his way to this new school as he was desperate for a new beginning, a fresh start, a new identity.
Hogwarts
His first year at Hogwarts was fascinating but difficult. As a muggle-born, he was the target of many cruel acts from other students; In addition to being older than most of the other students in his year. Regardless, this time at school enabled him to control his magic--a power that frightened and intrigued him.  He was sorted into Ravenclaw, a house known for their cleverness, wisdom, and wit.  A decision that would fuel his ego and sense of superiority, despite being the taunts through his early years of school. He took a calling to arithmancy , the study of magical properties of numbers. The course work required a lot of brainpower and focus, thus was his draw to the subject. Other subjects that perked his curiosity were: charms, vanishing magic, and ancient runes. He had a thirst for knowledge and desire to learn everything; but his prime focus was on those subjects.  His excellence in school and somewhat good behavior awarded him the role of prefect for the Ravenclaw House his  fifth year of school at the age of sixteen.

Career
After graduation from Hogwarts, Edward began working for Gringotts, who sought him out for a job upon learning of his subject matter and studies at Hogwarts. The job was to be a Curse-Breaker, which was the occupational title of those who removed, countered, or broke curses placed on objects or places for a living. The job was thrilling--venturing through tombs, caves, forests, all over the globe in search of lost and dangerous objects. Another part of his job was the assurance of magical protection by removing any magical entities and threats within an area. The danger and risk involved was a dance with the devil; one that Edward hummed the tune too; And walked the line between life and death.  The job had no set guidelines, thus implying that one must do what is necessary. Small, petty acts of criminal deviance began and would only increase in proficiency, and accuracy. His criminal tendencies were only done in the pursuit of getting the job done quicker and smarter.  His role as a Curse-Breaker ended when the Ministry of Magic suggested his knowledge and skill would be most useful in the Department of  Mysteries by Cornelius Fudge. It was then when Edward changed his name from Nashton Jr. to Nigma in order to play along in sync with his new job: Edward E. Nigma, a man of mystery. As an Unspeakable, much of Edward's work was kept in the books and within his department. The information and knowledge on the abstract and engimas within the wizarding community was gratifying. His ego blossoming as he stood within each of the rooms within the Ninth Level of the Ministry of Magic.  His research was required in each area, however some took more precedence and interest than others: brain room, time room, space chamber, hall of prophecy, death chamber, and the love chamber. The young genius flourished in this analytical, research driven career. However, his work was put to a staggering halt as the Wizarding World descended into war, and the Ministry of  Magic was overthrown, their Minister: Rufus Scrimgeour, murdered, and the M.o.M. answered to a new leader, a new following, a new order.  Through the war and thereafter, Edward continued to work for the Department of Mysteries, as it was his calling. However, his extracurriculars leaned against the parameters and rules of the Ministry; For the young man's dance with the devil had only just begun.
