5. Do you have some unused plot bunnies lying around?

Oyyy I have some that I started, had this huge emotional build-up scene all framed and blocked and so sad and >D wonderfullll but I never get around to writing or ruin myself with writing that one piece rather than hahahaha the rest of the fic around it. 

7. What inspires you to write?

Ooh! XD So many factors~ CASES AND POINTS:

a) What if? scenarios. Cardinal King started as a one shot based on a question about what would happen if Helios had acted like Mamoru’s guardian in the way Luna had acted like Usagi’s (? or something like that) and the whole thing just EXPLODED from there, further inspiration coming from (b) below XD

b) Jump into this Headcanon scenarios - aka, Kyra-splaining. I like to think, and I like to think I think logically. I like to use Naoko’s world and stretch it and bend it and use references listen so I grew up with Mixx comics and only the 1st and incomplete 2nd DiC dubs so some of my material doesn’t exactly match but i love it to death and you can try to pry it out of my cold dead hands but I will resurrect myself specifically to growl at you and, idk, eat it or something so it can’t be taken away or just write about it incessantly? i mean that might work  to grow the material withing the rules she set forth sorry sailor v manga reneges, you aren’t part of my world >.> and explain stuff she left out, to fill in the blanks and flesh out the insinuations to make big ol’ backstories and the like. Cardinal King kept going because  I needed to explain what happened and why it happened XD Serenity’s Story (2nd ever fanfic - incomplete with just 4 chapters to go because I lost a chapter in a TERRIBLE, HORRIBLE, NO-GOOD FLASH-DRIVE DESTRUCTION and rewriting things is the bane of my existance) is a good example of this form of inspiration for me - thinking about Stars and the tidbits of lore about the Moon Kingdom, this was my version of how Serenity got to the moon, why/how she gathered her companions from Mau and Coronis, why she chose our solar system in particular, where Nehelenia came from (that’s to come… my bad x_x), her deal with Chronos to settle here and the weird tie-in between Time and Death Sailor Pluto has because of it, how the castles came to be, why the Silver Crystal is as powerful as it is - all of it - is in that story.  Similarly, the idea of where Sailor Cosmos came from, who she is, and what she had faced was in my Unexpected Awakening story ((lmao it doesn’t look like I posted the matching/parallel other-character’s-side-of-the-story on ffnet, woops, it’s just here on tumblr XD)) ((…which never completed because I made the mistake of writing out a future scene, which just… killed it dead. Also what is romance.))

c) Music! First ever fanfiction was because of thiiiis! Jewels of the Moon Kingdom was inspired by The Prayer and a music video someone put together for it, setting Queen Serenity to Luna and idk why/how my head went PRINCE ENDYMION GOING TO MOON?!?! but it did. ((this story, too, died an early death because I wrote a later scene x_x Resurrection isn’t impossible, but man it’s hard))

d) Open ended Prompts and/or Competitions: :> I like to take innocent sounding prompts and BREAK HEARTS because I am a terrible, horrible, no good person. The competition part is good because it gives me a solid deadline to work up to, which helps with killing procrastination @-@

9. Favorite character to write? Why?

Despite Bunny being my “role-model” growing up… I like to write Mamoru SHOCKS AND SURPRISES, I KNOW!  Why? …. It’s easier for me, lol. I feel like I get Mamoru - that he and I have a good amount in common except for flowery speeches please don’t make me attempt I have zero poetry skills my god ask my rp partners for when I try to write something ‘inspirational’ omg and I like to write people that overthink things and… at this point, I have way more experience with him than with any other character. Idk if I’ve even ever written from some of the senshi’s standpoints, which is terrible of me but there it is @-@

20. Favorite fanfic tropes? (To read OR to use, or both?)

Idk if you’d call it a trope, but I love slow burns. The anticipation. The sweet endings. I just. :> I can’t write them worth a flip but I will read themmmm. !!! ALSO SUPER TRAGEDIES, AND HEROIC SACRIFICES, AND FLUFF FOR DAYS. ! AND REVERSALS. AND “LEMME MAKE ONE FIX IN THIS CANON STORYLINE AND PLAY IN THE POSSIBILITIES AFTERWARDS” AND “BEHIND THE SCENES OF THIS ONE BOOK WITH THESE OTHER CHARACTERS”.  I don’t read a lot of fanfiction, especially when I’m writing because it messes with me and I’ve been writing a lot, but when I binge, I BINGEEEEE

She’s good! We just got into a big fight about an hour ago, so she’s been very good for the past little bit. She stole one of my runes, and tried to eat it. D:

Not sure on the Halloween front yet. On actual Halloween night I’ll be handing out candy at my house. I have a graveyard partially set up in my front yard, a grim reaper to put (back) up (he fell down on a ridiculously windy day), and a fog machine! I’m excited, haha.

What are your Halloween plans!?

Those deer are overfed jerks don't let them fool you...

We want back today and, oh man, we now understand the horrible truth. The really aggressive ones were just loitering around the cracker vendors waiting for someone to foolishly buy some, and then they’d pounce without even giving you time to unwrap them. But we derived much enjoyment from watching the school groups.
