Being kin with Gamma (Sonic Adventure) is oddly complicated. I only lived around a week tops in my canon (which is fairly compliant with source), but also, what could one define as “me”? Was I just the robot whose AI had developed emotions and a conscience? Was I actually the Flicky trapped inside and powering the robot body? Why did I see memories of the Flicky’s parents- was it me remembering, or was the little guy desperately trying to tell me he was in there and wanted to be free? I don’t suppose I’ll ever really know, and memories don’t help since I was also experiencing the Flicky’s memories. The franchise has laid me to rest and hasn’t touched the character since then. Perhaps if we ever get a remake we might see something, but the Sonic games don’t seem to have those too often. - e-102 Gamma
