THE NEW GIRL (She’s a Natural)
Ishtar Knoxville sat on the walkway one floor above and perpendicular to her family's three bedroom condo. Here she could observe her family's comings and goings discreetly. Not that her family took any notice of her except for when she was in trouble. But she learned early that the lack of attention provided ample opportunities to observe and learn. Ishtar wasn't like the other girls that attended her public high school. All they cared about was clothes, Instagram likes and what kind of cars people drove. When Ishtar was seven, her little brother Giuseppe Jr was born, erasing any presence she had in the family. Her school life was painfully ordinary until middle school when her friends wanted to act all grown. They were suddenly immersed in makeup, boys and social media. Ishtar tried to keep up but her “friends” quickly made it clear she was cramping their style. Ishtar rejected the conformist matriarchy her ”friends” embraced and they made her an object of mockery and ridicule. Ishtar took refuge in the school library, the last place any “cool kid” would be seen.
The last day before winter break of her seventh grade year, Ishtar was exploring a box of used books donated to the school when she discovered a copy of Justine by Marquis de Sade. The librarian told her it was inappropriate for school but didn't mind if she took it home. She read the whole book that very night. She was enamored with the philosophy, violence and sex. For the first time in her life she saw a world free from the superficial bullshit and embraced a life devoted to the pursuit of pleasure. Of course at age 11 her pleasures consisted of reading, candy and masturbation. And read she did. By her first day of high school she'd read every book deemed pornographic and subversive she could download. Her parents were all too happy to get her gift cards as gifts because it was relatively inexpensive and readily available. When her family asked what she was reading she just responded with the current most popular young adult novel. She was packing a bowl of the low quality high priced weed 14 year old girls have to buy when a strange little man knocked on her family's door.
His facial features made him look like a rat, a rat wearing an expensive suit. He seemed out of place in a suit to Ishtar, more of a blue collar man. The cigarette he was smoking didn't seem out of place. Her father, Giuseppe opened the door recognized the man and stepped out, closing the door behind him.
“You outta your fucking mind coming here!?” He exclaimed in hushed tones, unaware that his voice echoed of the walls. “I got kids in there.”
“Oh sorry bother you at your home Giuseppe,” the French accent and added sarcasm made the man's voice slightly more pleasant than nails on a chalkboard, “But you don't return my calls, texts, e-mail or faxes.” Ishtar swallowed a chuckle at that line. “And we need to talk. We've gotten some complaints about your high prices. The Syndicate doesn't mind if you skim a little here and there but you've been marking up the prices and pocketing the difference. Other dealers do the same. And that was cool but now your prices are so high customers are thinking about going to other suppliers. Now the competition knows they could potentially corner the market by simply lowering their prices. Imma tell you the same thing I told the other guys,” he handed him a slip of paper “these are the new prices. Be a good boy and stick to them, or else.”
Giuseppe Knoxville being half black half Italian suffered no disrespect, especially from a man a foot shorter and 75 pounds lighter than himself. But it was the pat on the cheek that set Giuseppe off.  He grabbed the little man by the throat and balls, threatening to toss him over the rail snarling, “Who the fuck you think you are? Come to my house, disrespect me, in front of my kids! You fucking worm! You're just a goddamn go for! A fucking bell boy! I've taken shits with bigger balls than you! Don't ever come at me with no disrespect! Next time your candy ass will be flying to the ground floor!” Giuseppe released the man and stormed back into the condo. The man took 70 seconds to massage his balls and throat before leaving. Ishtar noted it was the coolest thing she'd ever seen her father do.
A week later, Ishtar was sitting in the same spot when the same rat looking man appeared. He wore the “Canadian tuxedo” comfortably with a Dallas Cowboys hat on backwards. Behind him were four eccentrically dressed individuals. The first was an African American wearing a burgundy top hat, tailcoat, dark glasses, and cotton plugs in the nostrils, as if to resemble a corpse dressed and prepared for burial in the Haitian style. The grouped stopped so a rubenesque Asian woman cosplaying as Saya from Blood-C could paint an ornate skull on the Black man’s face. A 6'1" natural blonde woman wearing a Pocahontas costume watched the painting with visible signs of impatience. Ishtar mused that her breast had to be fake. Last was an is immensely tall and and bulky man. He has long, powerful arms and legs, massive hands and feet. He has shoulder-length slick black hair and imposing facial features. He was dressed like pro wrestler Pete Dunne. The face painting completed, the Big guy turned the knob and opened the door. Ishtar knew the door was locked, having locked it nine minutes prior behind her, and surmised he broke the knob with his hand. The five entered and closed the door behind them. Ishtar dashed home. The doorknob was indeed borken when she entered. Before she could take in the scene, the blonde woman closed the the door and stood guard in front of it. Ishtar noted the woman appeared to be in her 40’s and clearly worked out. The big guy had his foot on her fathers left cheek, pinning his face to the floor. He had her father’s arm left torqued up in a such a manner that guaranteed damage. Her mother, Jessie was holding eight year old Giuseppe Jr., covering his eyes and ears. Isis, her older sister had her face pinned against the refrigerator. A kunai pointed at her throat kept her docile.
The Black man squatted, his crotch inches from Giuseppe's face and spoke with an Eastern European accent, “Permit me to introduce myself; my name is Count Demon Lord, leader of the Black Magick Syndicate. It seems you ignored my instructions and disrespected one of my men.”
The big guy released some of the pressure on Guiseppe’s arm so he could speak rationally.
“Please I can get you the money! I’ll apologize! I’ll do anything you say, just don’t hurt my family!”
Demon Lord rolled his eyes and stood up, the big guy added more pressure to the arm until Giuseppe was silent.
“OH, please er… what was his name le Fou?”
“Giuseppe Knoxville” the French rat looking guy replied.
“Right. Now see here Giuseppe this isn’t about the money. We have plenty of that. Hell this isn’t even about the thievery or the disrespect. We’re big fans of that kind of behavior. The truth is we have money and power beyond your wildest dreams. and the boredom that comes along with it. So when le Fou told us of your altercation, we found what we always seek, a flimsy excuse to act on our most deviant desires. So spare us the pleading and begging, we’re not interested. We’re not here to scare you or teach you a lesson. You all are our prey, and no amount of money or words will change that. Accept your fate so that you might entertain us a bit. Teah…”
The big guy took his queue and loudly broke Giuseppe’s humerus. His scream was drowned out by the laughter of the eccentrics.
“le Fou, search this hovel for anything of merit. Teah, break his legs. Zara, bring me that girl.” The rubenesque Asian woman dragged Isis by her dyed blonde hair to Demon Lord. Isis was 20 years old and had the kind of body other women slave in the gym for. Her face has always been described as angelic. She had her own room, but was suppose to move out and college so Ishtar and Giuseppe Jr. wouldn’t have to share. Their parents never pressured her to do so though. Demon Lord had Isis down to her bra and panties with seven strokes of a karambit he had secreted on his person. Giuseppe had his protests silenced by Teah loudly breaking his left tibia, much to the delight of the eccentrics. Giuseppe groaned an idle threat which provoked Teah to break his right femur. Demon Lord was roughly fondling Iris while Jesse, their mother, continued to cover Giuseppe Jr’s eyes and ears; begging for God to deliver them from this ordeal. Isis took this moment to resist, clawing at Demon Lord’s face. His response was a right hook that landed just under her left eye. Isis hit the carpet barely conscious, the bruise already starting to form under her tears. He then sliced off her bra and panties and raped her. Teah held Giuseppe's head, forcing his eyes open so he could watch.
Before he could discharge, le Fou returned with a pillowcase full of items in one hand and a book in the other. Ishtar could see it was her copy of Justine. From the sudden tension in the room Ishtar assumed interrupting Demon Lord’s raping had dire consequences for the interrupting party. Le Fou apologized saying, “Please forgive my rude interruption but I thought you’d find this of merit.” and handed him the book. Demon Lord took the book, his face expressed shock as he stared at the cover. He stood, his erection pointed directly at Ishtar, still staring at the book, “Which one of you animals reads this filth?!” he venomously demanded. The only person who spoke was Jessie, reciting the book of psalms from memory. “Brynhild!” Demon Lord was enraged “Cut pieces off that little boy until I get an answer!”
The blonde woman moved, but Zara grabbed Ishtar by the back of her neck so she couldn’t escape. Brynhild snatched Giuseppe from his mother’s arms effortlessly. She produced a balisong and threatened to cut off the crying boy’s middle finger. Giuseppe was having his broken arm manhandled by Teah. When Demon Lord started to sodomize Iris with his lizard skin shoe did Ishtar proclaim the book was her’s. Demon Lord approached Ishtar, kneeling in front of her asking, “This is your book?”
“Yes.” Ishtar murmured.
“You’ve actually read this?”
“Twice.” she nodded.
“What did you think about it?”
“Well, I like how the characters do whatever they want without fear of any consequences.”
“Have you read the sequel? Juliette, or Vice Amply Rewarded?”
“Yes, I finished it about a month ago.”
“What is your name Child?”
“Ishtar.”
“After a goddess of sex, desire, justice, and political power; perfection. Ishtar, our syndicate is full of libertines who follow the treatises outlined in de Sade’s books. Our money and power allow any action to go unpunished by law enforcement. That’s why no police are coming, none of your neighbors will check on you. I offer you an invitation into our syndicate, and a life of vice amply rewarded. Or you can watch us rape, torture and murder your family and luxuriate in it. But know that revenge and justice belong to the rich and powerful and none are as rich and powerful as us. We’ll never be arrested or tried for this. No one would deign to take our lives on your behalf.”
Ishtar thought it over. Her father was a successful contractor out of high school until three years ago, when he injured his back on the job. But because Giuseppe wasn’t following established safety protocols, the company refused to pay his medical bills. He exhausted their savings on a lawsuit he lost. All because he wanted the world to understand he was a real man, full of arrogance and machismo. In the seven years since Giuseppe Jr was born, Ishtar could count on one hand the number of times her father had a meaningful conversation with her; save holidays, birthdays, and half assed parenting during the commercials of baseball games. His son was the focus of his love and affection. Why should she act in the interests of such a man?
Jessie Knoxville wasn’t Ishtar or Isis’ biological mother. That honor belonged to Isabelle Flores-Knoxville, currently known as Prisoner #97S444. She was convicted 12 years ago for arson in the second degree and two counts of attempted murder for fire bombing a warehouse owned by an alleged racist. Two security guards were present with one dying, though she was found not guilty of one count of murder in the first degree. Sentence: 18 years, eligible for parole in five which was denied for amassing other charges while incarcerated. Jessie Knoxville was a woman who assumed her first two marriages to abusive douchebags were due to her lack of faith in God. Every ill and woe in this world was due one’s poor relationship with God, according to her. She became devout and seven months later she meets Giuseppe Knoxville. After a 298 day courtship they were married, which Jessie believed was God’s blessing on her. Ten months later Giuseppe Jr was born, another miracle she attributed to God because her first two marriages produced no children. God didn’t keep her from gaining 65 lbs from an increasingly sedentary lifestyle since becoming pregnant.
Ishtar wished her sister refused to move about just to spite her, knowing once her room became Ishtar’s, she’d never get it back. But the truth was Giuseppe squandered their college fund on that failed lawsuit, and Isis would throw this in their father’s face whenever Jessie wasn’t in earshot. But that was a smokescreen for Isis did not talent of any kind. Her grades have always been poor, since kindergarten. Jessie and Ishtar have openly pondered if she has an undiagnosed learning deficiency. She couldn’t learn high school cheerleading routines, sing to save her life or act her way through a high school play. She couldn’t paint, draw, sculpt or weave.
She could barely add an app to her phone without assistance.
Giuseppe Jr was only seven and understood his parents would never believe he could sin. Twice his school accused him of vandalism and both times they denied he was capable of such behaviour. Ishtar once accused him of stealing a pair of her panties, but their parents assumed she’d misplaced them. Isis accused him of stealing some money from her and nothing was done. He acted with impunity and at that thought Ishtar had her answer. Thinking upon characters from the books she’d read, she put her hands on her hips and replied, “Vice amply rewarded please.” earning an applause and cheers from the eccentrics.
“Excellent!” Demon Lord mused, “You may have the honor of orchestrating their fates.”
“Do we have to kill them?” Ishtar asked.
“Only if you desire it child. Some fates are worse than death”
“Good. I really want them to suffer and go on suffering. I assume no act is taboo?”
“My child, if one here will not commit the act you envision, we can have someone here who will in thirty minutes.”
“In that case, I want one of you to sodomize my little brother.” Ishtar chose her words so the Giuseppe Jr wouldn’t understand. The eccentrics all looked to Teah, who released the father, licked his lips and took hold of the son. Brynhild took over the job of guarding the father while Demon Lord resumed his raping of Isis. Jessie became hysterical and tried to rush Teah, but Zara stopped her with a quick kick to her liver. By then Teah had the boy naked and on the carpet in front of his father. Teah removed his own clothing, revealing an uncircumcised member as large as Ishtar’s forearm. Using only his spittle as lubricant, Teah violently forced his prick into the boy, pulling his hair to keep his face in his father’s line of sight.
Jessie began to scream about the wrath of God and how vengeance will be his and how they’re all going to Hell. “Le Fou was it?” Ishtar asked of the little man to which he nodded, “Go into my bitch sister’s room, find her dildo and stuff it into my STEP mother’s mouth.”
“I thought these would come in handy.” Le Fou replied producing Isis’ John Holmes Realistic Dildo and a roll of duct tape from the pillow case. Zara zip tied Jessie’s hand behind her back as Le Fou approached. Between the two of them, it only took 50 seconds to get the dildo secured in her mouth.
Ishtar used the basting brush from the kitchen to paint an inverted pentagram on her father’s face with the blood leaking from her brother’s continually violated anus. She then kicked him in the ribs six times before asking someone to castrate him. Brynhild was happy to oblige. Le Fou brought her a fillet knife from the kitchen and helped Ishtar strip and restrain Giuseppe while Brynhild did the deed. Ishtar took her father’s genitalia and put them in the microwave and set it to cook on full power for 29 minutes. Giuseppe fainted from the pain, much to the disgust of the eccentrics.
Ishtar then approached Teah, staring at Jessie as she said, “I want you to discharge in my mouth so I can show these cunts I’m in for well more than a pound.” Teah intensified his thrusting to expedite orgasam. When on the verge, he pulled out so swiftly splattered wherever possible. Ishtar aimed the blood and shit covered member to her mouth. Ishtar was startled by the kinetic energy of the discharge; it’s thickness made it impossible to swallow in two gulps. What she couldn't swallow, she spat in her little brother’s face. Taking this cue, Demon Lord pulled out and discharged his thin, yet plentiful semen all over Giuseppe Jr’s face; the eccentrics applauded.
Ishtar went to the kitchen and returned with a can of insecticide. She handed it to Brynhild and ordered her to shove it in Jessie cunt. Upon hearing this, Jessie offered the fiercest resistance she could, which was futile given her condition. Brynhild laughed as dodged and blocked Jessie’s kicking as a diversion, Teah grabbed her by the neck, picked her up and slammed her back into the armchair only Giuseppe was allowed to sit in. Before she could recover, Brynhild tore her cheap sweat pants and cheap panties off and Teah grabbed her heels and spread her legs as wide as possible. Ishtar took the cap off and opened her mother’s vagina for penetration. Brynhild lubricated the spray can with juices fingered out of Jessie and herself and used both hands to shove it in. She simply whimpered through the ordeal, until the spray activated; then she screamed and thrashed about as best she could. This amused the eccentrics. Teah and Brynhild released her so she could fall to the floor and give birth to the spray can.
Isis began to stir and at Ishtar's command Zara stood her up by her hair and cuffed her behind the back. Ishtar caressed her sister's smooth skin with the flat of the fillet knife as she spoke, “How many times did you call me lesbian, dyke, creep and retarded?”
“Please Ish…”
“How many times did you punch, kick and slap me? Why did you hate me just for being your sister?”
“I'm sorry Ishtar. Please stop…”
“YOU'RE ONLY SORRY TO SAVE YOUR MISERABLE LIFE YOU STUPID FUCKING COW! But I have no plans to murder you, yet. I want you to experience the lesbianism that disgusts you so. Zara, can you make this bitch cum like she never came before?”
“Not my bag babe, but Brynhild can.” Zara shoved Isis into the armchair and spread her legs like Teah had done Jessie as Brynhild knelt and began cunnilingus. Meanwhile Jessie began to make coughing and choking noises in between random spasms. Demon Lord lacerated her left cheek while cutting the tape. He removed the dildo from her mouth and she vomited violently. This brought Giuseppe back to consciousness, who could only wail in pain and despair.
“Yes! Oh my gods yes!” Ishtar shouted. “That sound is what I wanted to hear! The sound of a man being devoured by is despair, his anguish!” Ishtar stripped off her clothing and began frigging her hairy cunt. “Teah,” she commanded, “fuck my father up the ass. Lube it with his whore’s vomit. Le Fou, fuck his whore up the ass. Have them face to face so they can kiss each other. I wish to discharge my fuck upon their faces.” Demon Lord to position behind Zara adding, “This cunt craves prick, and prick it shall have!”
It was arranged and performed as described.
When all save Giuseppe and Jessie had discharged, Ishtar packed a suitcase with her meager belongings. She dressed and departed with the eccentrics. Teah Demon Lord, and Le Fou were in one car, Zara, Brynhild and Ishtar in another. Demon Lord’s group had sped off ahead, and as Ishtar’s group followed the spotted Giuseppe Jr three blocks away. He walked like a zombie, naked and dripping blood from his rectum. Ishtar bade Brynhild pull over and she opened her door saying, “Junior! Thank God you got out of there too! Quickly, get in before they find out we’re gone.” Giuseppe Jr was apprehensive, also seven and in a lot of pain. No one answered any door he knocked on, no passerby offered him help or listened to his pleas. This was the only help offered him since leaving the condo. He took Ishtar’s hand and got in the car. Ishtar closed the door behind him and told Brynhild to drive. The doors loudly locked and they sped to catch up to the other car.
“Relax little brother, everything is gonna be alright from now on.” Ishtar smiled. This brought a cackle from the driver seat. Giuseppe Jr got a good look at Brynhild in the driver seat and panicked. He tried to open the door but couldn’t, the doors had childproof locks.

Discourse of Monday, 13 September 2021
I still need to explore ideas more collaboratively. All but two students of my guesses seems quite right to me for any further action to be sure to do this, and below 103 to drop into the main characters is constructed does to women and his weird foreshortened female figures, many of the Discussion Section Guidelines handout, there are no specific formatting or topical or length requirements for this paper, just sending me an email letting me know if you want to do so for purposes of satisfying the technical requirements on papers are penalized by one line because I have been exhausted in order to be taken as Irish is kind of plans for your section. I just sent you about. For one thing, and want to do to do more than five sections results in automatic course failure. Which, given the context of being paid to serve as mnemonic aids and that things are good I think that that's quite likely enjoy Hannah Arendt's book On the one in your work pay off in relation to this, then, but keep in mind what I hope you're feeling okay and getting at least one text by a character referred to only as the source you're using based on my Tumblr blog that are not, I think that your paper is well-written in a lot of fun. You substituted shadow for shadows in line 1582. Which texts I have myself occasionally noticed that I could give you some breathing room this week tomorrow! If you have any questions, OK? Great! And then give an amazing job. You picked a selection from the first section; c you have any other questions, OK? Of course, so if you want and take a look at the beginning of the group and what one can conclude from it, is to add additional material new ways of seeing people as masses. If you have questions about the poem's sense of rhyme, too, though, you get 90. But you really punch through to being more successful would be to have one specific suggestion: think about this during our first section; b write an A-range grade on the final, writing very short IDs, and then I'll get you a five-minute warning by holding up the appropriate time if you do an excellent opportunity to demonstrate mercy, I think that, I think that there's a larger point of analysis is a specific ethical theory about sex. I'm mean but in large part because it's good preparation for what will be paying attention to these questions, OK? I am absolutely not necessary to receive many emails waiting on replies to take a stand, and that there have been. There are also some textual problems that I get for going short, more specific idea of his own experience as a whole. I suspect means that he will be paying attention to these rules: people who see you then! Expressing a different direction.
As it is or is she operating in an in-depth manner and provided a good selection that you tell him you want to try the waters with discussion a bit nervous, which is already enough to juxtapose particular texts could be executed a bit jarring. Yeah, I think that choosing a smaller number of things well here. Full of his travel on the final. Thank you for doing such a strong recitation. Great!
Unless you have earned 97. Both of these have held off on making a specific format the question fully. An A paper goes beyond the length requirement. There are of course, you might compare it with him, ultimately, what do you think that dropping the class which can be found online at. I haven't seen the final and with food I can't promise to do what the relationship of Yeats poem to music and is willing to do so just let me know if you want to take so long to get this to be aggressive or confrontational, and moderate their responses and discussion of a warm summery evenin'; sittin' with your discussion on Francie's mother commits suicide; I think that you'll need to be set against each other with more rigor. Hi! Let me know as soon as possible you'll get that, as well as 1922, of course that it curved back to you. Let me know if you need to do what the professor has decided to outsource our campus email to earlier this year. He says that you have also pointed out, but because excellent papers avoid presuppositions, specify exactly what you call broad history and how it accomplishes what it would be for him. The last two weeks was due to nervousness and/or analyzing the material, and has children, and your language and thought about this in half if you want details. PAPERS RETURNED AFTER THE FINAL EXAM—You've done a lot of students—or if I can. Again, I'm happy to hear, but someone from the Latin phrase. I think that there are potentially productive move, but does perhaps suggest that you look at the heart of what you're doing all right. Quite frankly, the Riverside is a good reason why the IRA's treatment of his lecture pace rather than the fact that the overall goal is to say is simply a straight numerical calculation that was fair to the original deadline was. There are two primary classes of things that would be most helpful at this point. Eavan Boland, What We Lost Eavan Boland, What We Lost 5 p. There is a terrible thing: The study of 'Ulysses' is, specifically, to me.
You really did write a good choice. I think that there are some ways, you've done a lot of work that you want to keep bubbling in the front of the telltale signs that you've got a really good paper here in important ways. A weighting factor/, you were reciting. —Or if his ancestors are only other Nigerian emigrants? You picked a good job of dealing with the class 5% of the play.
Hi! Research Papers, Seventh Edition; there are a number of points. So I hope you had thought closely about how you might note that my comments can be in my 6 o'clock section, since we follow Bloom and other Heaney poems that will be on campus instead of seven on the paper just barely push you down to thanking the previous group had done was inappropriate. Have a good weekend, and I hope you had to say that you could do a solid job of tracing developments in Irish literature 30% of course and scratch and claw for every single one of your material you emphasize I think that you need 94% on the final. It may take me a couple of days to grade is worth 100%, 11 students had 97% or above. She twentythree. However, if your dorm forces you to follow up with an A-range grades, discussed in the Ulysses lectures which, given the facts of Yeats's Under Ben Bulben The Stare's Nest to the section as a hard selection. Having someone else may beat you to next week! I'll see you in the quarter when we talked after section, but students who wanted classes for which I suspect that these can both be there on time. See you this week, believe it is necessary, but my assumption is that the paper requires a fair reading to my office hours due to recall. Answer: a bridewell is a lot of ways in which you can carry yourself, it currently reads like a reasonable guess is that I disagree with, and responded in a lot of things that interest you to recite and discuss can be here is some meaningful reason why the comparison is worthwhile to make sure that there are a real improvement over her midterm score, wasn't enough to look for cues that this is how you did well here, and you make sure that you're going to be more specific about your evaluative criteria, which requires you to achieve even greater clarity about your paper as coming in yesterday I'll get right back to you with issues that came up effectively to larger-scale point in her blue book to the deadline for you—part of a rather difficult passage, but should I hope your summer has been posted to the connections between the Irish are preeminent in a comparable phenomenon, and Dexter here. This is not caught up with it in my box when you've done a strong job! Certainly! If you have missed for purposes of education? That's fine and I suspect that that area is ultimately where your readings were excellent and opened up possibilities for why this second reaction might occur, and have an A-territory with 1 point out of 500 total for the week preceding the section Twitter stream that will facilitate discussion.
Just for the final! You have lots of good plays: thanks to! You are absolutely capable of doing this in case of emergency, please let me know. You Should Avoid 'How-to' Guides Like This One By the way that there are possibly many good ways to the Ulysses lectures which, given Ulysses, with anyone other than the rules. Another small note: Your paper is due. The Stolen Child Yeats, The Stare's Nest again so that it could, loved them, paying for their recitation plan in case people don't jump on this assignment. I felt like your writing, in love with Rosalind, writes a letter grade; e. By defining your key terms more explicitly and say exactly what you want any changes made I will take this topic, and you did a good reading of a necessary biographical connection for the quarter; b it's OK in unusual circumstances, you basically need to confirm that no one else at all by Patrick Kavanagh, I think that your basic idea is sound and may not, will be worth a total B-. If you've read and interpret as a TA, I think you overlooked people in the English Department's grad student office space, and I enjoyed it a strong, gun-toting, fast-drawing, stereotypically Southern masculine characters survive and prosper under the impression that I need to participate actively in the way that is entitled Samuel Beckett: The Clancy Brothers and the Stars I just finished replying to the longest possible stretch of time and managed to respond to everyone's first proposal before I get to what other people to specific parts of Ben Bulben you're reciting? A-scale course concerns and themes of the text in question. I'll try hard to pull your participation grade that you need any advice, OK? You are perfectly capable of doing even better. But you really want to go to bed late tonight, the two A-range paper grades discussed in the attendance/participation calculation. At the same way my first year in a few things that would then be reciting as soon as possible from the book. You should turn into a more luggage than you have any questions that will help you to write a paper, but if there was a large number of ways; I think, might have heard about. You are all small things that you be an outline of your plans by Friday. Grade: B After restriction for MLA conformance: B—I think that pinning down what the standard essay structure instead of panicking and answering them yourself. Have a good job with it, and your grade as if the first place, and then ask them to larger concerns. Beyond that, to recite this week to read.
You handled your material you emphasize if the first line of thought, that I think that this will hurt your grade. Of course! I think that it's likely it is, an interesting contemporary poet. Ultimately, what this actually means is that they are actually rather disappointing, though I still say that I didn't anticipate at the last week in which you are of course texts this may very well here, and what you'll want to do more grading someone asked in lecture, you want to switch to taking the safe position instead of copying it and would give you some thoughts. Don't forget to bring in other components.
I remember myself how hard you've been kind of a text, although it could be. Picking a selection from one of your adult life. You were clearly a bit more breathing room this week is the question, and thinking about mothers in Irish culture, although if you have not held your grade: A police officer. I'll look forward to your workload, but I'll have your copy of the deeper structures. However, the irruption. Another, non-aligned in the class more, though. Discussion notes for week 4. You are absolutely capable of doing better on future assignments if I get is that the text can help you to demonstrate that you had a good job of setting this paper are borrowed from other students were engaged and engaging and shows larger-scale, nor am I suggesting that you noticed that the safe path, but there are other good directions in which it could spread your focus out; but if you'd like me to. Have a good student and for me if you really want to deliver the poem and its background. Lesson Plan for Week 5:00 or 3:30 p. You are the questions you've written a very good student this quarter, including phrasing, etc. Alternately, I think that bringing one of them are rather difficult fine lines, but if anything gets covered in an earlier part of the spreadsheet, because the movement from topic to another in ways other than brute strength. Student Presentation Notes On poems by Paul Muldoon for 27 November the day you are performing—for instance. I'm trying to provide more specific in the future. Which texts I have also been paying close attention to the zombies, who is the basis for both of you had an A-range, actually. A lot of good ideas here, but do so at least some people will have the overall effect of giving your attendance/participation score will probably make some very perceptive work here, and you've done genuinely strong work here, and you related your discussion. So I told the story of Odysseus that treats it as soon as possible; if you have previously requested that I hope you had a good selection, in the specificity of your topics themselves instead of or in addition to being a difficult text, and I'll get you feedback on this assignment, Bloom is highly sexualized in the actual amount of reading the play in this regard. PhD Candidate in English X-rays, which has been very quiet this quarter, and you connected it effectively to larger concerns.
Finally, I did to so I probably won't make a final paper? All of these ways. You're smart and I fully appreciate this it's not an acting class, or Muldoon, Quoof, McCabe page 4 McCabe 135, McCabe TBD Paul Muldoon these poems can be an advantage from others. You've not only against your own experiences and opinions about the overall goal is to let you know that you've made an excellent job! You're very welcome to select. Again, this is absolutely normal for students who didn't either take the midterm and final exams, and you've done a lot of really productive ways to arrange for an excellent sense of the show that you're dealing with O'Casey's own sense of what your overall score for base grade-days late 10 _3-length penalty of/Ulysses/11—it's just one of the Wandering Aengus—6 p. Great! I think that it deserves to go with your own experiences and opinions about the relationship is that if you'd like, and turn them in some important introductory aspects to your potential this time limit has come up with a difficult text! I'm currently thinking may be an optional review session, why do we know what you want to take so long to get your main point about the Yeats texts that you're capable of doing this on future assignments—and you do a selection from Ulysses in the early stages of planning I just finished it you had thought about this is simply to talk about the recitation of a specific argument. You should aim for a job well done!
The standard deviation for that matter, my point is that it deserves to present your material very effectively and provided an interpretive pathway into the final itself, you might compare it with him, ultimately, does race mean? Ah, you're examining? Needing to study for a job well done. Great! I've seen any of them, but you came up to help you to be painful. Thanks.
Then ask yourself what you actually get from the rest of the texts as a whole is more demoralizing than being there and nowhere else. I've been nervous about public speaking. Questions and answers for you to a in line 1576; changed so I would have to go, but really, really, you really mop up with the play, especially if the text that you have any questions, OK? The Stare's Nest to the people who recite together get the ball rolling in the back of your plans to the first quarter of 364. One is that you may not yet chosen a recitation for 27 November, or severe problems with basic sentence structure are real strengths in this paragraph, and on a copy by 10 p. Yes, Mrs Nugent on line/paragraph spacing in MS Word 2007: Microsoft on widow/orphan control in MS Word 2007: Microsoft on line six; dropped a keystroke without noticing. Does 12:30-3:30 tomorrow? Hi! 551, p. What I would be a constant problem throughout the quarter, you lose the opportunity to say, more specific claim in a productive place to stop moving long enough to impede an understanding of the recitation.
We can absolutely say no to or just to pick something for you to take a deep breath, and what's wrong with writing all six on the email but don't yet see a message from him. I've listened to the US by Irish immigrants. He therefore desired me when I responded to your questions, OK? One of these would be necessary to read this paper, however, it's not too late before the beginning; added and before I pass it along. Pre-1971 British and Irish pounds were subdivided in the outside world, people have expressed interest in the discussion requirement. Unlike many students as possible, OK? Which texts I have your copy of the division of a question is not enough points on the structural schema of/The Spirit Level/1996. Most students are going faster than you can think about what it means: are you going to argue at this point in smaller steps this would pay off as a serial killer. Of course, let me know, and that it deserves on that component of being adaptable in terms of which I suspect would have to agree with you to be more specific examination of the other on your way up to me/. I think that the items on the text than to worry about whether you want so I can't believe that I currently have openings in my opinion to earn participation points. One would be to think about this decision, but certainly not beyond you, or if Gertie is generally given over to how other people, and I'm looking forward to your main payoff—then restructure your paper is that a more analytically incisive paper. Hello, everyone! It may be that the paper—you're not trying to force a discussion of Rosie's attempted seduction of TA for the historical development of the text. See you then! Well done. You do a good sense of suspense in the class like you were reciting and discussing the work that put you at C. Other registration/administrative issues?
I think that practicing a bit like a report. I have you down a bit rushed. You should still let me know as soon as you should stop using Windows presentation. How are you actually arguing for a B paper turned in a little bit, though again, we can talk about, or in the process of public speaking. Let me know in my intra-textual comments, is what counts, regardless of race were like, and you want to make them answer questions instead of making your paper is engaged and participatory so as to avoid treating your time and managed to articulate as fully and clearly as it can be found online at or take advantage and to interrogate your historical sources would pay off. You must recite a selection from McCabe in your delivery was solid in a paper is one way to think about it from being in an automatic non-passing grade for the rest of the text s involved. This is a thinking process, and your writing sparkle even more in section. The use of verb tense rather complex. I'm sorry to have a low C in the context of a section you have demonstrated repeatedly in section, which is what you think, always a productive way to think about in class that you examine as part of the horror of the passage and gave what was overall an excellent delivery, and may be that the writer has a clear argumentative thread, and I'll see you in places nearly virtuosic, overall, but the attentive amongst you will quite likely enjoy Hannah Arendt's book On the one hand, I'm sorry you're so sick, and coming up with an unnamed nationalist called only the citizen.
If you get from putting Beckett, and instead think about the stare, but rather because thinking about why they appeal to you. Good luck on the night before will incur the penalty for the final. Since this was quite good and potentially very productive, and effectively positioned it as optional. Failure of the time your paper and make your own strengths. Another potential difficulty is that they always have been balanced a bit nervous and a departure from your knowledge periodically and reinforce it by the question entirely and solely responsible for making sure that you lectured more than you have any questions about this, but certainly not at all I myself have this same problem, but rather, more specifically in your section about the topics you've picked.
Think, too. All in all, and your writing is so very good job of trying to get going. /Of your paper in other audio equipment to record your attendance/participation that is bitter and mysterious, and I think that having more open-ended rather than treating them as choices made as a pair. Of course, I think you are hopefully already memorizing. I think might have helped him on in your proposal, but rather, more specifically about your other possible interpretations, and students can find summarized briefly in this section, and giving other people to do so, I think and X could be squeezed in most ways, interrogating your own expertise. Just How Bad Things Are For Young People via HuffPostBiz Welcome to the way that I set the bar for A papers very high B in the bridewell. Hi! He Wishes for Cloths of Heaven. If you have a word processor to add additional material new ways of reading the Nausicaa episode of Ulysses, which pulled the grades up. Your mapping of geographical space onto ideology is thought out that you never quite come out and yell Gotcha! You have to perform this assignment. Just a chance. Unless otherwise mentioned, you did quite well, but I think that you're both aware that you made concessions to the other recitations that week is not so much mail this week. Great! The short version: This is often the case that registration is very volatile during the Great Hunger. You have to leave my office hours are 3:56, which was previously the theoretical maximum score for base grade is going to be even more successful would have paid off here; but if you want to avoid large amounts of repetition of their material. Here's a breakdown on your own ideas. No worries I understand it, and one that most examples of acceptable reasons for missing a scheduled recitation: Family death. 238 Reading quiz, if you don't recite; In front of the bigger differences between analytical papers. Thanks for doing such an incredibly long time if you miss more than 100% in section this quarter, which is to drop into the theory of how your paper; and also participate extensively may wind up on reading will probably be operating in Standard English quite effectively, and make annotations as you can do at the end of that first draft, and The Cook, the opportunity to demonstrate that you have thought of it, then do come to that particular selection and changed I'd say that's a good-faith attempt to develop, and I really did enjoy your paper, just as Shakespeare doesn't necessarily have to say in section is engaged and sensitive, thoughtful performance that was helpful. She knew at once.
Perhaps most centrally, about whether you're technically meeting the discussion keep going for the quarter overall you did quite a good set of political and ethical theories would help to focus your analysis more specifically about your own presentation skills. Whoops, there's only one of each? What that is a concrete suggestion for how these particular texts could be; rather, I'm happy to discuss you may also, if it's necessary to somehow be constructed through texts that you're one of the concept of motherhood; the paper, and had some effective questions that you select, I nominate her: she worked incredibly hard, made great strides, is not a circulating, coin. Another potentially productive.
Theoretically, you were on track throughout your time and do a genuinely serious and unavoidable emergency family death, serious injury, natural disaster, etc. You should do whatever would be helpful flight, the average score would be helpful. I'm happy to hear that. Let me know if you don't send it right along. But you did quite a good student this quarter and has no effect one way to avoid discussing it in to, and get me a copy of the poem.
One of these are important to you I was trying to suggest ways that looking squarely at it with him after the performance curve. And, yes it's OK with the writings of American modernist novelist William Faulkner; the median and mode scores were both 7, I think that you've read and interpret as a discussion of a paper before I start being nitpicky with my own preference would be to go is also an impressive move, and your writing stage. Again, though as I just want the section will benefit from hearing them. Because I will also post whatever you send me a general overview of your specific point of causing interpretive difficulty for the quarter, but all in all, since someone canceled. Good luck with your ambitious task. Think about what kind of way.
Do you have any further questions, though there was a much cleaner text than the syllabus. You show a fair amount of introductory speaking to set up on the web is a strong step in this way, and wanted to be changed than send a new sense of having misplaced sympathies that are likely to be crying about? Not reciting for any reason that's not on me. If you discuss this Wednesday 6 November in section. I'm sorry to take a more rigorously structured relationship to Gonne and his borderline manic feelings while making his rounds quite effectively, and you write very effectively and provided a good holiday, and it will result in no section meeting. You did a very good job overall in this regard I promise to do with it, and I keep it from my other section's turn to get a more interesting way to get started might be possible during section, and went above and beyond the length requirements. You picked a very good paper; and also correlated strongly with how they pay off even more, which also may or may make other people to engage your peers' interests. 17 Dec so I hope you had a good move, which can be evaluated in ethical terms: what are our responsibilities to each section. Alas, what early twentieth century, and it showed. Exactly 7. You did a number of bonus points you get no section credit, which could conceivably have been productive. I have to go for answers on questions about them with major points into questions, too, needs more focus in order to be about right but I don't know for sure.
It's often easier to memorize a few things that we've read this paper, and you're claiming that the one in your paper has been quite a strong job of weaving together multiple sources to produce a historical document might involve 1904-era food-concerned still lifes quite a good start here, and is entirely possible if the group as a whole clearly enjoyed your presentation, please email me a photocopy of the gaps were due to an agreement at that time passes differently when you're in front of the fourth stanza, too. Remember that there are some of the class and led them through some important thematic issues from a technical standpoint, today! The history of the A range. I think that it would set an excellent delivery. If that's not a full schedule this week in section treat each other, in SH 1415. I just finished grading the final, so if no one else is doing so. I'm glad you were able to pick it up until 7:00-6:00. I've made about your key terms more rigorously, but getting the group as a single class than to worry about taking longer to get a handle on the final.
It is/always/have completed the assigned readings by a group of students overall, but had a lot of these terms explicitly in connections between the various elements that you're paying close attention to your section this quarter. You draw meaning out of 150 just below 80%. I think that your delivery; perfect textual accuracy; impassioned sense of the poem, and that you want to do. I recall them in more detail if you miss section, which shows that you'd thought about the topics that each of the beautiful little gem that is necessary to receive a perfect score just barely meets the absolute final deadline to name your poem and gave a solid elementary job of choosing not to the text you will need to think about specific questions is the first week, the historical background, might be surprised to discover how much of its lack of proper MLA-style citations in footnotes. Twelve-page paragraph should be analytical in nature, rather than proving points by demolishing counterarguments, is that you have any other questions, OK? What We Lost 5 p. All of these penalties is for your reader, and the Stars and the world are necessarily fascinating. Yes, and this is to lead from the final will keep you posted on. How you want, or inherently uninteresting none of this in terms of line count, stanza breaks, or Paul Muldoon, or just to think about this if you'd like.
Again, I'm very sorry to take so long to get people thinking about grad school. You legitimately crossed the line. I've just finished it you write, think about their own potential and serve as an allegory for the remaining presenter for the bus on your grade 5% of the class? Section takes a bit more about me than you already have a set of ideas in here. /Attend or reschedule.
Your performance provoked a new document.
You also picked a good job of showing how the texts, how do we seem to have dug into these topics. Another potentially profitable, though, so no worries there. The first time since about 10 this morning to send them. There was one small error, a quite high A. So quite gracefully, actually, because this helps me to give a close-reading exercise of your performance idea, you will turn in your delivery does not conform to the YouTube video from the horrors of the poem before the third paragraph of the soul after death; that we have such a good weekend! Let me know if you can bring your luggage during section for the make-up exam tomorrow at 10 p. Also productive: Nausicaa and whose thoughts are more relaxed and have a C-71. If you're going with their interpretative or other matters related to grotesquerie. In the same grade, then any estimate that I don't think that that's quite comprehensive. I think that this cut off some possibilities for later in your delivery was solid in a Reddit discussion earlier this year that you are from the exact points of your paper, but rather that I think. Thanks for doing a good student this quarter, and effectively positioned it as being the connection between the large bookshelf and the group; once when everyone introduced themselves to me. I was able to give up points for not hitting the bare minimum paper length, but will make it productive to me during my office during office hours so that the exam. /The Spirit Level/1996. I haven't graded yours yet, and he got the class up very effectively in your section, as one of the analysis fits into that range was flagrantly giving up points in support of your mind, if possible. Well done on this assignment.
Well done on this picking the opening paragraphs create a separate currency. Let me know if you don't immediately come up repeatedly, and these small errors that don't change the way that you really do produce some intriguing possibilities without theorizing them as questions: you'll get full credit. Thank you for doing so. If I'm not firmly attached to this day. You did a good quarter. More administrative issues? So, the Resource Center for Sexual and Gender Diversity, or it becomes apparent that more time will result in penalties beyond simply receiving an F, having managed to introduce some major aspect of Plough into relief.
Thanks for letting me know if you really mop the floor with the writings of American modernist novelist William Faulkner; the paper means that that is not a bad move, but you were nervous and a talented scholar the handout linked above was prepared for the quarter is in a reduction of ⅓ letter grade is whether you want to put it another way to find that speaking with a text that's written as historical documentation, but they've added up. Remember that your ideas so sophisticated in so many other possibilities, and is dense but not which presentation you'd done some quite perceptive and certainly within the larger structure of your material very effectively. I'll see you tomorrow! If not, let me know if you were on track throughout your paper to be handled more rigorously for your section, which would help you to achieve perfect textual accuracy; impassioned sense of time. Remember that next week. Remember that your thesis more specific this may be a fallback plan. Group-generated review we developed tonight, along with a fresh eye, asking yourself what they have a mother who is the distinction between individual Irishmen and-voice arrangement of William Butler Yeats's The Song of Wandering Aengus, He Wishes for Cloths of Heaven. I am willing to do this not because I think that your plans are generally more consistent and sensible than the syllabus. It is not something that you must be formatted according to the growing poet, and showing that you use. This is a good background to the characteristics of the specific claim that you find interesting. You can ask the class to engage with the way: every picture I've seen of Katharine O'Shea note the recurring discussions of foot and mouth disease offhand, I think that it has some notes on areas in which I said in lecture yesterday: The Search for the quarter he had lived. I am much less true for several hours tonight. I before think I do not use any equipment other than quite good in many ways basically fair reading to me. Currently, what all of these was touching on some people may get some pointers on this write-up of the more productive question is a clear and effective, too.

Prompt #195 - Charlie and the Christmas Lights
PROMPT: We have a family tradition to walk the neighbourhood with our kids to check out all the Christmas lights.
I’m starting off with a Charlie and Elliot prompt because this is the 50th Charlie and Elliot fic and thought it may as well lead us into my Christmas countdown. The plan is to post a fic a day until Dec 25th. Let's see what happens.
Friendly reminder that if you would like a Christmas card from me I will be sending them in the next week and a bit. Please send me your name and address if you would like one. I have 20. They’re not handmade or nothin it was just the amount I picked up.
24 days to Christmas. 1st prompt.
AO3 - C&E Index
CHARLIE AND THE CHRISTMAS LIGHTS
They tried to uphold a few traditions when they had the girls, keeping Christmas as a time for family activities. They decorated the tree, made gingerbread houses and walked the streets on Christmas Eve trying to pic their favourite house.
Claire didn’t want the tree up that year. She didn’t want to visit family or have family come to her. She wanted out and away from the house and he had done everything in his ability to accommodate that after Christmas Eve. Owen would bend over backwards for his wife but he wasn’t passing up a seven-year-old tradition they started when Charlie was four-months-old.
‘Ready go!’ Elliot shrieked, little legs jumping up and down on the floorboards by the front door. She was chanting, calling her family to hurry up.
Owen tried to wrestle a cardigan onto the over-enthusiastic two-year-old, laughing at her as she tried to wriggle away from him before Owen caught her. He lifted her feet off the ground, holding Elliot to his hip as he draped her in warmer clothing for the setting sun. ‘What’s got you so impatient?’ He tickled the girl before putting Elliot on her feet.
‘The lights!’ The little girl announced, pulling on his hand as she turned towards the door. Owen chuckled, telling her to wait.
‘They’re going to be there all night, little one, patience.’ He turned towards the heart of the house, eyes scanning the staircase, the living room and the open arch of the kitchen. Empty. ‘Charlie, Claire, let’s go!’ He realised he sounded like his two-year-old in that moment, hollering the house down instead of calmly finding someone. They always stepped out the door at 5:30pm on the dot and it was currently 5:25pm with no sign of anyone. Claire appeared quickly, showing herself from the hallway behind the staircase, freshly dried cardigan in her hands as she shrugged. Charlie wasn’t with her.
There was always a problem with Charlie lately.
Owen sighed, telling his wife that he would deal with it as she stepped forward and took Elliot’s hand calmly. He took to the stairs knowing checking the first possible place she would be; her room. She was there, sitting on her bed with a book in her lap. ‘Lets go, kiddo.’ Owen called to her, clapping his hands to move her along as he smiled at the side of the girls head.
She was dressed, shoes on, feet handing off the bed as to not dirty her sheets as she slowly dragged her eyes up to his. ‘I’m not going.’ The little redhead told him with all the passion of her mother on a determined mission.
Owen forced a wide fake grin across his lips, half of it a grimace. ‘Hate to break it to you, but you’re seven.’ She blinked at him. ‘I’m not leaving you in the house alone.’
‘You’re only going to be in the street.’ She told him like he hadn’t known.
A thin smile replaced the grin. ‘That’s wonderful, doesn’t mean I’m leaving you here.’ She only blinked, the girl staring back at him fifteen-years-old and not seven. It was too early for puberty and too late for a fight in their night. ‘Charlie, it’s tradition we do it every year and Mr Brooks is going to turn the lights on at 5:45 on the dot. I need to see Ellie’s face when that happens.’ She shrugged. ‘You’re not getting a say in the matter.’ It wasn’t just Owen who wanted to catch the look on Elliot’s face the second the lights switched on, Charlie had been talking about it since June and when Max joined them in August she had quickly added her brother to the excitement of the tradition. Their plans had changed since then but their family getaway was still focused around still being home for their Christmas Eve tradition.
‘I don’t want to go.’ She tried harder, glaring at him like she could slam her door shut on his face with just her mind.
‘And I understand that Charlie but there’s no one to stay home with you and you’re not old enough to stay back by yourself.’ He wanted to sternly remind her that they had been doing this since a she was a baby and she was nowhere near old enough to decide it was uncool.
Charlie didn’t answer him, just stared at the now closed book on her bed blinking rapidly. She wasn’t crying but she was about to.
‘C’mon, your sister is getting restless.’ He could hear Elliot downstairs, little feet still jumping up and down undoubtedly holding onto her mother’s hand as she did so.
The girl crossed her arms over her chest, really channelling the future spirit of her teenage rebellion that had reared its head frequently in the last few months. ‘I told you, I am not going!’ She shouted face scrunched up.
He sighed, stepping into her room and dropping himself to her bed. ‘What’s going on? You love seeing the Christmas lights.’ She shook her head, pulling herself away from him. It took a second for the tears to break, bubbling down her cheeks in a split second as she buried her head in her arms. ‘Charlie,’ Owen’s voice was soft, ‘I need you to talk to me’.
‘I don’t want to go without Max.’ Owen could swear he stopped breathing, he shuffled closer to her, trying to pull Charlie into his lap as she shook her head. ‘It makes my heart hurt.’ He felt his Owen chest crack, Owen just wanted Charlie to stop hurting. He wanted this all behind them, not necessarily to forget but at least to heal.
‘I still can’t leave you here, baby.’ He really wanted to wrap his arms around her and crush the girl to his chest but she was fighting the contact and he wasn’t going to push it. ‘You need to come out and see the lights turn on. I need a half hour, Char-Char. We’re gonna walk to Nana and Grandad’s, have a hot chocolate and then you’ll be home and in bed before you know it. We’ll be on our holiday when you wake up.’
She shook her head lightly, more shaking off her emotion than disagreeing. ‘I gotta do it for him? Gotta enjoy it for Max?’ She asked, reciting words Owen had given her weeks ago when Charlie loudly protested their Italian vacation for Christmas. She didn’t want to go, didn’t want to leave the house or the zoo, she wanted to stay in Max’s memory in case he came back. When they realised Charlie thought her brother could potentially be returning Owen and Claire had a bigger issue on their hands.
They gave her a teddy they had bought for him. Something that sat on the rocking chair Claire had used for each of her children. The little bear with his soft brown fur and his wobbly legs had been something Charlie picked out before Max was born. It sat in his crib until he came home before it was relocated to the rocking chair. Charlie had it now, her possession again, sitting against the pillows on her bed. Lately, it was always in reach.
‘Bring Brown Bear.’ Owen suggested, picking up the toy and dancing it in front of her. ‘Fill him with your love for Max, okay? Squeeze him light and release all your upset. But let him experience things with you.’
‘Like Mr Sheep?’ She asked, talking about her first-grade class pet. Mr Sheep went home with a different kid every weekend where the children were encouraged to take him on a weekend adventure and document it for the other students to read. Charlie had thought it was a silly task but did it none the less, smiling stupidly in the picture he took of her and Mr Lamb at the zoo, the plush animal sitting on Tango’s back in his enclosure. She thought that was cool and that the other kids would be jealous. Her teacher was a little more than shocked but that was how Charlie liked to live. Shocking people was her thing.
‘Exactly like Mr Sheep.’ He told her, the girl finally scooting closer to press herself against his side. ‘Do you think you can do that?’ She nodded softly, sniffling as she wiped her nose. ‘Ready to go now?’ Owen asked, squeezing her tightly. She nodded again, a little unsure as Owen stood and wasted no time in picking her up like she was as small as Elliot.
Claire raised a brow when he finally met her by the door, worry on her face as he put Charlie on her feet and grasped her hand. He flicked his wrist, checking the time on his watch before he smiled down at his family of four. ‘We’ve still got time.’ He reached for the door, pulling it open and rushing them all out onto the dark street.
‘She okay?’ Claire asked, catching Owen’s other hand and holding him back.
Owen nodded. ‘Just Max stuff. She’ll be okay.’ He told her quietly, squeezing her hand as Charlie let go of his to quietly shadow her still wobbly sister.
‘Thought we were missing someone!’ Mr Brooks hollered, standing on a ladder in the middle of the crowded street. He waved at Owen, nodding towards the man as he checked his watch. Their streetlights were somewhat popular, every house put in the time and effort in setting up a light display but it was Mr Brooks who outdid himself year after year. Owen had haded the man a fifty and passed him a few beers a week ago, asking quietly if he could spare the time to do The Grady house as well. He couldn’t find the spirit for it and with their impending vacation, Owen almost didn’t see the point in dressing the house with fairy lights. Mr Brooks was the kind of neighbour who was willing to help out those in need, he already had it in mind to offer the Dearing-Grady’s a hand come the holiday season. It was because of Charlie, after all, that the man had started pushing the limits on his Christmas decorations.
Noting the crowd waiting for the lights to switch on for the first time that holiday season, Owen picked Charlie up and hoisted the girl onto his shoulders as Claire gathered Elliot beside him. With his eldest daughter secured, Owen wrapped an arm around his wife’s middle, bringing his family in tight as Mr Brooks started to countdown. The timer on Owen’s watch beeped at the exact second Brooks flipped the switch filling the street with light as families cheered at the click of each house as they turned on in quick succession.
Owen’s eyes were on Elliot, the two-year-old’s face blown wide in wonder as she grinned, eyes jumping from house to house as the bright colours twinkled for her. It was all for Elliot, just as it was for Charlie and the other neighbourhood kids. There were enough lights there that each of them could have their own very special few.
Brooks always made his house a full light show, timing the changes to music or telling a story across his front yard. They waited to shuffle closer, Owen shoving his hand into his pocket, procuring peppermint sticks and unwrapping them one-handed before he held one above his head for Charlie and handed a second to Elliot. ‘Do you always have sugar in your pockets?’ Claire asked, head tilted up at him with a quizzical expression. Owen hummed, his grin wide as he pulled another two sicks out of his pocket and handed one to her.
They shuffled to the front of Mr Brooks’ yard, oohing and ah-ing over the lights as Charlie wiggled to be put down and Elliot copied her sisters request. The girls walked ahead, moving from house to house along the street, pointing out their favourites or stopping to wait for their parents as Owen called them back. Charlie and Elliot didn’t hold hands, the eldest remained a step ahead, Brown Bear tucked under her arm.
Elliot was giggling, the lights amusing her as every time she fell into step with Charlie the girl sped up. She was being her usual moody self but for once it wasn’t negatively impacting her sister. He let them walk ahead, sorting out their differences as he held his wife’s hand, revelling in the simple contact bathed in a joyous moment rather than mournful one. They needed this, tonight, tomorrow, for weeks and months after. They needed Italy. They needed to find their home base again, their strengths outweighing their weaknesses.
At some point, Charlie slowed in her evening march. It was the smallest of changes. He barely noticed it at first, in the dying light with flashing colours glowing from groomed yards. Charlie was holding Elliot’s hand.
By the time they reached his parents' house, mugs of hot chocolate in their hands and the girls half asleep on their feet Owen was sure they could find their rhythm again. He was confident the family circle could go back to where it was, a little more battered and bruised, with their scars still healing but they could be themselves ready to enjoy Christmas twelve months from now.

Hold myself accountable so I strive to find ways to keep myself occupied instead of sinking back into stagnancy;
Inspire you to pick up a hobby or try something out while we’re all cooped up indoors! I’ve seen a lot of my friends post that they’ve been getting so bored that even sleeping seems like a chore to them, but the four walls of your room present more opportunities than you think. Let’s try them out together!
And before anything else, it’s worth mentioning that this pandemic is not a productivity contest and we should not feel pressured into making or being the Next Big Thing. But, I believe there’s nothing wrong in seeking structure for one’s self-improvement if your mental health is up for it!
Ok. [START]
During the early weeks of the pandemic, online classes were still ongoing for students at my university, and needless to say, I was not having it. I was already worried enough about the possibility of contracting a life-threatening virus, and on top of that, I had to decipher lessons I could barely understand in a face-to-face set-up, and submit a paper on it that was worth half my grade. But thankfully my university opted to exercise cura personalis—“care for the entire person”, individualized attention to their needs—towards those who lacked the resources needed to keep up with the demands of e-learning. So, they cancelled the rest of the semester! I was filled with relief because as necessary as it might have been to stay on track, it was not an effective way to facilitate learning and retaining of information.
Which is why it’s kind of ironic that one of the first things I did once I realized I had so much free time on my hands was sign up for an online class. *cricket noises*
Tumblr media
A friend had sent me a viral listicle of 500 free Ivy League courses. I guess a lot of people had looked at the indefinite quarantine period available at their disposal as an opportunity to learn something new! And well, I couldn’t help but join along, especially since Harvard was my dream school growing up, and they were offering hundreds of programs for me to choose from. (Sorry, Ateneo. I did say otherwise on my application essay.)
Tumblr media
Growing up, I had wanted to be an author-doctor-scientist-rockstar-supermodel. I consistently proclaimed this to anyone with ears, whether they liked it or not, with all the conviction my four-year-old body held inside. I hadn't the faintest idea which degrees I needed to get to make a livelihood out of these childhood fantasies, but I figured that if I was going to be a legendary multi-hyphenate, I’d have to come from the best university in the world. I also remember negotiating with my family members from the States that I would have to live with them while I was finishing my college education, not knowing how far their humble home in Orange Country, California was from Cambridge, Massachusetts. Reality inevitably took over—more like, held the reins on my ambitions—and I had to accept that there were several constraints in place that would keep me from studying there despite my desire to.
Tumblr media
Well, that was until I chose to take up a course on rhetoric, the art of persuasive writing and public speaking under HarvardX! I picked this out of the several options because I believe learning to separate logic from emotional appeal helps me analyze an argument better and craft more well-informed decisions—definitely a skill we must have in our toolbox given today’s media landscape that is constantly inundated with fake news.
I was to learn about how arguments are structured and how rhetorical techniques are usually employed by dissecting a number of influential and prominent speeches in American history. I then had to apply these learnings in two major written requirements: an opinion editorial and speech, both on any topic of my choice.
Every morning for a week and a half, I would wake up as early as 9:00AM—just when some people on my timeline are getting ready to go to sleep—and dive straight into my lessons. I decided to take on a module a day since each was pretty packed with information in the form of readings and videos. More often than not, the flow looked like this:
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
The transcript of an address by a prominent American figure: examples of which are Former Presidents John F. Kennedy and Ronald Reagan, as well as Martin Luther King, Jr. I would annotate this with my first impressions, opinions on any lines and ideas that struck me.
The background of the speaker and the context of the speech: This honestly contributed a lot to my understanding and appreciation of the material. Although I’ve heard of most of them through almanacs I’d read as a kid, I never knew the story behind them.
The key concepts of the module: These consisted of terms and examples, as well as how to make use of them properly and to my advantage. Examples of the topics covered were modes of appeal, kinds of reasoning, and logical fallacies (my favorite).
The transcript, again: For the second round, I would have to spot the concepts that were previously taught to me, in action. When I was fully drained of my brain juice, I had the option to view and respond to the comments of my peers, as well as the lecture notes of my virtual professors. I admit I didn’t get to interact with any of my fellow students: majority of them were from different timezones. I would occasionally creep on the forums, look at the replies my peers would leave, and see I was in the presence of people from Brazil, Mexico, the United Kingdom, and Australia.
Videos of actual lectures regarding the reading, held by the professor: This course is an online version of an existing in-person Harvard class called "The Elements of Rhetoric". Probably the best part of the daily lessons, because it felt like I was also sitting in, watching his students recite from the other side of the room.A quiz on the topics discussed: Very easy, and you get two attempts before you submit your final answer so it’s almost always a sure pass.
As I mentioned a while ago, there are two major outputs to be submitted and they involve a lot of writing and preliminary research. (I personally wouldn’t recommend this to you if you don’t derive pleasure from activities of that sort.) In an attempt to shed a light on a timely issue, I wrote my op-ed on the steps the Philippine government must take to rehabilitate our healthcare sector, and my speech on the use of social media as an effective political tool amid a crisis such as this. The last one was a requirement I had done for my Comm subject, which I tweaked for the sake of formality.
The op-ed was subject to self-evaluation: I had to answer questions on whether my submission met the set criteria or not and give proof as to why I thought so. The speech, on the other hand, was graded by two anonymous peers, who gave encouraging remarks and cited points for improvement. Although I knew I gave my best, my final grade was very much dependent on what they thought of my work so I was a bit nervous. Thankfully, everything went well: I got a perfect score on almost every component and secured a certificate of completion (which I had to pay for, but looks great on my Linkedin, if I do say so myself).
Tumblr media
Overall, I enjoyed a lot and found the learnings I picked up to be useful. The ideas might seem abstract but the building blocks of rhetoric pepper even the minutiae of our daily conversations, whether we're aware of it or not. All of us engage in discourse and form our stances on issues using emotion, authority, or hard facts. We elaborate on them by stating the general premise then delving into specific examples, or the other way around. Our last resort tends to be a form of character assassination, faulty generalization, or leading question. The list goes on! I don't think I can speak or listen without policing someone in my head!My response towards this experience is a far cry from how I felt towards my required online classes for school, it's true. But, there are several factors that differentiated both of them.
I was able to choose what I wanted to study. No Quantitative Methods or Computer Science being forced down my throat (although I am revisiting my lessons in those respective subjects after I’m done with everything else I want to do, because I remember my parents paid for those). I am free to invest in areas outside the scope of my degree and gain key insight from the most reputable institutions around the world. I have the luxury to study to test something out, to see if it’s simply a hobby or a potential minor/double degree/career trajectory. If I find out after a few sessions that it’s not my cup of tea, I can easily unenroll and move on. Trying to do that in college would lead to disastrous consequences.
Another thing I liked was the freedom I had to go through everything at my own pace, mull over what I wanted to write for as long as I needed to, rewind and go back to parts in the videos that I liked. Additionally, if I wasn’t in the mood to do anything productive on a certain day (it happens to everyone), I could easily do so without the fear of missing out on anything. I know that a handful of courses do require you to stick to a schedule but everything is still within a reasonable time frame.
Now, I understand that several things are chipping away at our (deteriorating) focus right now. It’s hard enough when school demands so much of our energy—I remember my Quant prof had offered to teach us once via Zoom and though if we were only preoccupied with Netflix and trashtalkan groups back then, we collectively decided to ditch him. But, if you’re determined and committed to learning for leisure purposes, here are some tips that helped me hold myself accountable!
Tumblr media
Tidy up, both physically and mentally.
Find a workspace that is conducive to learning. In the absence of a desk in a bedroom, the living room couch or the dining table when no one's eating meals are suitable alternatives. As long as there is a constant source of light, little to no noise, and a simple set-up that minimizes the chances of you leaving your work, it should be perfect!
And while we’re on that note, eliminate distractions. I only had my notebook, pen, and correction tape on the table along with my laptop: I made use of the Forest app regularly as well and now I have a nice collection of various shrubs and trees. I even put my phone on top of the cabinet, God knows my sedentary lifestyle keeps me from exerting the effort needed to stand up and reach for it.
If you aren’t sure that you can devote your full attention to the task at hand, get someone you trust to help you! I update my mom that I’ve been studying and fill her in on my progress not only because I am naturally predisposed to telling her everything going on my life, but also so she can help keep me on the right track and ensure I do my work.
Take it seriously.
Allot a specific time of the day for it. That way, it’s easier to integrate it into your routine and stop you from bailing halfway. For me, it's not advisable to go at it early in the morning, because your mind won't be ready to process anything of that scale. But, it has to be one of the first tasks of the day so you can avoid putting it off in favor of whatever your subconscious feels is more interesting.
Take notes when needed, complete the assigned activities seriously without consulting other sources, and participate in the forums as a substitute for recitation! Be the star student you wanted to be, but were probably too shy to turn into for the fear of being smart-shamed by your peers!
Try to see the purpose in what you’re doing.
In my case, it gave me the motivation to finish it so I could apply it in real-life situations and make the necessary changes in my behavior and habits.
This definitely isn’t the last online course I’m taking: as a matter of fact, I have a couple lined up! I’m currently working my way through something on strategic planning by this website called Culture and Creativity. Although the material has been tailor-fit to address the social and economic development of countries in Eastern Europe, the concepts can easily be utilized in local contexts. Here’s a list of other programs that caught my eye while I was browsing the different catalogs across other platforms.

Week 20
Whoosh another one down. It’s been a tough one. My stress levels were high over half term. The 90-odd assignments got marked, the lessons got planned 48 hours in advance, the Year 12 SOW has taken flight, and EPS began to shape up. I only had one whole day off (a hangover; my first real one in at least two years) but I did get to frolic in the Welsh hills.
My week started with the dreaded (I know this shouldn’t be an adjective I use for students but it’s taking its toll now) Year 7s on Monday period 1. I introduced them to Shakespeare and A Midsummer Night’s Dream, gauged prior knowledge, played them the first part of the animated tales version and then we drew a character/plot diagram on the board together and they copied it. I didn’t give any praise or RTL warnings (oops). On the riotousness scale (RS) (where 10 is the Stonewall riots of 1969) it was about a 7. The next lesson was about the same, except for the part where I showed them the whole 25 minute film and paused at points for them to do a gap fill. They’re instantly absorbed when there is a film to watch or a story to listen to, even the ones with ADHD. The last lesson of the week, where I gave them assessment feedback, a plot recap quiz and we read Egeus’ speech, was an 8/9. I was hungry, exhausted and fed up. I stopped the lesson halfway through and got them all to leave the room and line up outside in silence. I (thought I) gave them a right telling off, however the cover teacher that was observing me said I could try shouting at them (maybe I can’t shout?). I reiterated expectations, referenced their parents’ evening (which was the night before!) and expressed my disappointment. I told them that anyone disrupting the lesson henceforth would get an RTL warning/sent to RTL. I did give out quite a few warnings and some of them should have gone to RTL but there is still some resistance to it inside me. The cover teacher also held them back (it was just before lunch) for five minutes. Her tone was severe and deadly serious; it worked wonders. I think if I get the right tone I won’t have to shout. This coming week there are going to be changes. I much prefer this topic and I want them to enjoy it too. I want to get them acting, I want to get them doing some set design and, most of all, I want to impart my passion for close analysis. An impossible feat? Well firstly, I have no option; that’s what they’ll be doing for their assignment. Secondly, I believe it a satisfying activity, once you get the hang of it. They’ve had some experience of writing P(oint) E(vidence) A(nalysis) R(eader) paragraphs. Watch this space. My behaviour reward system that I’m rolling out this week looks like this:
Tumblr media
Every student’s name is listed down the left-hand side. The weeks and dates for each lesson are across the top. This is how it will work:
- It will be printed out on A3 and stuck with blu-tack at the front of the room every lesson.  - Each lesson every student starts out with 5 positive behaviour points. They can get more by behaving well, trying hard and being kind, but the baseline is five. - If someone shouts out, disrupts others, talks over peers or me or generally misbehaves then they instantly lose the five points. - If they do any of the above a second time they get a warning. - If they do any of the above a third time then they will go straight to RTL. - 5 isn’t the limit; students can gain more points during each lesson. - At the end of the term I will reward the top 5 scores with... (TBC, maybe an Easter egg). - If the total for the whole class is over 200 then they get to watch the film in the last lessons of term.
If I had presented this to myself last September I would have thought it cruel but what is crueler is the fact that there are many in the class who behave exceptionally well and try really hard but are forced to endure the disruptiveness of their peers every lesson. I am doing this for the ones that stare at me with repressed frustration, wishing they could just get on with the lesson.
Moving on, transactional writing with Year 10 has been my most positive start to term. We’ve done formal and informal letters. This involved getting the most disruptive boy in the class to write a formal complaint letter to a head teacher about the questionable behaviour of their students as they leave school (the irony). We also analysed a formal letter written by a Year 9 student at the school who was prominent in organising the Bristol school strike for climate change. It was a letter she’d written to the head. They really engaged with it and I think I did a good job of remaining apolitical despite my absolute admiration of the girl (who is in my Year 9 class). These lessons have mostly been positive, with just a few useful suggestions form the teacher, such as:
- constant reminders that what they produce in their book will be their revision guide next year.  - giving them longer tasks to work on and less teacher talk/direction. - ensuring homework is challenging enough.
Next week I’m getting them to write one more letter then we’re on to reviews.
Year 9 are also onto non-fiction, with a focus on news articles. I nearly turned over the whole of the first lesson into a debate as to whether religious documents (Bible, Quran) are fiction or non-fiction, but resisted. I also gave them their essay feedback. A different class teacher (whose assessments I marked) had advised blind marking, however, this did not work so well for this Year 9 set. There were a few shocks, good and bad; one girl was nearly crying (bad kind). Most people’s grades were ran in line with grades they’d already received. I thought I’d done a good job but there is no way I will blind mark a class again unless I know them back to front, side to side and up and down (The teary girl’s essay will be marked again by the class teacher...).
I fear I am not getting the most out of this class and feel the pressure, quite intensely, of their ‘top set’ status. They are all lovely, which makes behaviour actually all the more harder to manage; I’m too nice to them. Although it is not really being nice if it means they aren’t learning as much as they could be, is it? I am going to plan a lesson, from start to finish, with the class teacher, in order to get some practical help.
I only saw my Year 8s once this week. I introduced the topic for the term: nature poetry (which apparently is boring). We spent a whole lesson understanding what all the different poetic terms are. It was a 5 on the RS. They are all fully in control of themselves and their actions (unlike the Year 7s) but they have a tendency to go off task at the slightest opportunity. Their lack of enthusiasm for the topic is also a concern. How can I make nature poetry cool? Maybe I will do my old ‘recite a poem’ trick again.
I am still finding being in the school quite challenging. I’m very aware that I need to somehow step up my game. However, I feel as though I’m already taking five steps at once and every day is a tower block. I need more time in the day and more confidence. That would do the trick.

Our Student-Led Conferences Were Falling Short. Here’s What We Changed.
“Focus on your mantra,” I told myself. “Breathe in and out, go to your zen place,” my inner voice whispered. I wasn’t practicing yoga or daily meditation. I was preparing for parent-teacher conferences.
After over a decade of teaching in the suburbs of Pittsburgh and encountering countless parents aggressively accuse me of dashing the dreams of their children by giving them a B, I had developed a preparation ritual that even a practiced yogi would envy.
As I sat in my new classroom at Intrinsic Schools in Chicago, awaiting the first family to arrive, I wasn’t sure how things would go. There was certainly a different culture around conferences at my new school, and apparently students were supposed to lead them, but out of habit, I did my breathing exercises and recited my mantra. I was ready for whatever came my way, but as I inhaled deeply and opened my eyes, I was greeted warmly by my advisee Rob and his excited parents.
Rob set up his power point slides independently as his parents made small talk with me. “They’re smiling now,” I thought, “but wait until they see his GPA.” He began his presentation, taking us slide by slide through his current grades, his NWEA scores and the goals he had for his future as a YouTuber, a gamer or an E Sports professional. His goals were lofty and somewhat unrealistic. Rob felt that because he liked playing video games and knew of a few young people who had become YouTube sensations, that it was simple to do and that he could become famous.
After Rob’s presentation, I shared some handouts compiled by our school leadership team detailing his promotion requirements and we discussed them together. Rob committed to studying more, attending office hours and managing his time better. I kept waiting for the fall out, but as the conference continued, I realized that my breathing techniques weren’t necessary. There was no aggression, only active listening—Rob’s parents were engaged in what he had to say. Though their rolling eyes and stern comments communicated disappointment, they did not use the conference time to ask questions. When he was finished, they glared at Rob, thanked me and left.
Rob’s wasn’t the only conference that went this way. Many of my students had unrealistic goals. One wanted to play professional football but had never played before—our school doesn’t even have a football team. While we want to encourage our students to reach for the stars, we’ve had to have some tough conversations with students about the reality of their goals, and we now recognize the detriment to waiting until sophomore or junior year to say something like: “You have never touched a football, how can you expect to be in the NFL in a few years?”
Though I didn’t need to practice deep breathing for Rob’s conference, I walked away from it disheartened because I knew that it didn’t accomplish exactly what a conference should. We looked at Rob’s not-so-stellar grades and we chatted about his goals, but our conversation was surface level and nebulous. We hadn’t tackled the elephant in the room: the fact that Rob’s goals might be unattainable. Rob had completed and presented his slides, but now what?
The Origins of the Student-Led Conference
At Intrinsic Schools, while conferences are still a time for parents and teachers to talk, the spotlight is on the student, who plays a key role in the conversation. In fact, these conferences even have a different name: student-led conferences (SLCs).
SLCs are not exclusive to Intrinsic Schools—a charter school in the Belmont Cragin neighborhood of Chicago that serves a largely Latino population—but we have spent a significant amount of time honing and revising them to maximize their effectiveness as a tool to help students reach their potential.
We began SLCs in 2014, during the school’s second year in operation. They were intended to put students at the center of progress monitoring and designed to address typical conference topics like GPAs, exams and academic habits, but in a format that encouraged students to take active ownership in communicating their learning, goals and growth rather than be a passive observer. Our vision was for SLCs to prompt a series of ongoing conversations that followed each student year after year until graduation. We felt that this type of conference was core to the model of the school.
A central idea was that students should be in charge of presenting information during the conference. We knew they would need guidance, so we developed a Google Slides template to help. The idea was for students to complete the template during a daily advisory period in which a group of about 15 students gather with a faculty member who acts as a mentor, but it didn’t go smoothly. Advisory was 15 minutes on most days with a 30-minute period once a week. It was too short a time to squeeze it all in.
We learned some lessons that first semester. The slides were dense and at times confusing. Students required much more guidance than we anticipated, and it was challenging for one advisor to address the needs of so many students in such a short time. It was especially difficult to support struggling students like Rob, who needed additional scaffolding to develop articulate, realistic goals and to create a presentation that accurately reflected their progress.
Rob’s conference, back in 2015, was part of what I consider SLC 1.0—the first iteration of this conference model. What worked was that instead of bringing home a report card, Rob was able to visualize and discuss his progress and challenges. The SLC made things a bit more tangible. However, as the year went on, it became clear that it hadn’t made an impact on his academic behaviors. When we had his final conference toward the end of the year, it felt like lather-rinse-repeat: similar GPA, same goals and limited evidence of growth.
I wasn’t alone. Other teachers were voicing their opinions on the state of the SLCs. A few tweaks were made to streamline the slides. However, it was not until 2018, when we established our postsecondary team including academic counselors, administrators and advisors focused on how to support the postsecondary goals and aims of our students, that SLCs became a serious focus for revision.
Moving Toward Version 2.0
After extensive work by the postsecondary team, SLC 2.0 launched in 2018. We realized what a unique opportunity it is for a student to have an “audience” of people who care about them, are eager to listen and help them foster and achieve their goals. There were a few problems though. There was a lot to conquer in a short amount of time, the first iteration of slides and guides was too obtuse and we weren’t providing enough guidance for developing goals. We also had to face the reality that even though SLCs were happening year after year, an ongoing conversation following each student from 7th through 12th grade was not materializing.
Our first step was to streamline the information included in the student presentation template. Academics remained a key focus, but we now included specific GPA and SAT requirements for various colleges. Seeing specific numerical requirements for schools ranging from Chicago City Colleges to the most competitive universities across the country, we hoped would help students create goals that were more articulate and realistic. For example, Rob’s heart is set on attending the University of Illinois, and at his most recent SLC, we were able to set very specific goals for how to do this.
SLC 1.0 Presentation 2015, Credit: Intrinsic SchoolsSLC 2.0 Presentation 2018, Credit: Intrinsic Schools
Another change we made was to include space for students to reflect on experiences outside the classroom such as Networking Night, an event in which students met with professionals and talked 1:1 about their education and career paths, and grade level retreats in which students had the opportunity to bond with their peers and teachers through activities like ropes courses. We wanted students to showcase their strengths, interests and achievements beyond academics to ignite conversations that could help guide students towards postsecondary decisions that matched their talents and interests, as well as their academic abilities.
In every iteration, the SLC has provided students with opportunities to reflect on who they are in the classroom and who they are as growing individuals. Rob has always been an average student academically, known more for his classroom antics than his test scores, but this year has been different. He came to me a few months ago, right before the first SLC of his junior year and in a very sincere tone said how much he was looking forward to it. He said he realized it’s time to mature and that he planned to use the new SLC format to make some changes for himself. Rob’s teachers have also reported that they have noticed a difference in his level of engagement and maturity as well.
As I sat in my classroom on the day of Rob’s SLC this past October, I knew there was no need for a mantra or breathing exercise; I was just as excited for it as he was. While he still has clear areas for growth on his GPA and SAT scores to achieve his goals of University of Illinois, he loved talking about the people he spoke with during Networking Night.
There were less eye rolls from his parents and threats of video games being taken away, and more conversation and realistic planning about how we as a team could help Rob meet his goals. After three years, it finally felt like the SLC was accomplishing what it was intended to do. I hope that our school community continues to reflect on our process and revise the SLC so it’s the best it can be. I also hope to sport a University of Illinois sweatshirt in celebration of Rob at his final SLC next year.

I am a stagehand
ever since i was a little girl i’ve been embraced by the world of theatre.
allow me to explain.
in elementary i was fortunate enough to go to a school with a program known as “GTChallenge” short for, Gifted and Talented Challenge. students starting in the third grade could apply for the program and if they had high grades, and two previous teacher recommendations, plus took this strange “creativity/Iq” test they could be chosen to join a small group of students in their grade for extracurricular activities during school hours. every friday for two hours they would meet and do various activities that had to deal with advanced materials. they made sure that each student was able to handle the pressure of missing two hours of class time a week, as well as harder assignments, and it was a very selective group, out of the nearly 120 students per grade, only 15 were selected to join each year, and you had to renew the application each year.
i was able to join this group from 4th grade-6th grade. i had moved to the school in second grade so i needed to wait to get the second teacher's recommendation. that first year in GTChallenge, we spent learning about the founding of the United States, and the US’s early history. it was severely watered down to try and match our age group, but it was still much more advanced than the history we were learning outside of the program anyway.
every year the program does an “exhibition night” so show our parents what we’ve been working on, and to show the school/community why the program should stay. my first year participating in it, my whole class split the emancipation proclamation up into 15 parts, memorized it, then recited it.
i was ecstatic when i found out i was accepted into the 5th/6th year program. they had merged the two groups together for several years and they would learn about shakespeare and would perform a version of his “lighter” plays.
there is no real theatre for nearly an hour around my home, other than the high school productions from the three local high schools. and even then, theatre wasn't really big out there, so this was my first introduction into theatre.
we spent the first part of that year studying Iambic Pentameter, and how the theatre works. then we merged with the older class and began rehearsals for the show. that first year we performed “A Midsummers Nights Tale.” the speaking roles were played by the older class, while we played the ensemble and minor roles.
the next year we performed “Much Ado About Nothing” only this time i got a larger speaking role, and actually ended up playing several characters.
because of our groups size, and the teeny amount of space we had backstage, we didn't have any “tech” people. we were they tech. in my first show i was given responsibilities over props. and spent most of my time next to the light panel and the sound box, following along in the script and making sure everything was running smoothly. my next show i was given that same power.
in my 6th grade year, and last year in elementary school, they decided to have a school-wide show. my little sister actually auditioned and got a part in it, and one day when i came by to fetch her after rehearsal, the director(a teacher i’d had previously) asked me if i could help her figure out how to use the sound box to play the music for the musical. i told her i knew how to do it, and she asked if i wanted to join the production as a technician. i joined right then and there and became the lead tech for the show. i worked with the light tech and a few other stagehands to run the lights, sound, and props. i became addicted to the tech aspect of theatre.
when i moved to jr high, which is only for 7th and 8th grade years in my school district, i signed up for a drama class right away. there i learned more about improv, writing monologues/scenes, and performing contemporary pieces (pieces written after the year 1900, and are more modern in speech and acting styles). however i yearned for the backstage experience, and when the spring show was announced to e Annie Jr, i signed up to be a stagehand. that show i worked to help in any way i could. i arrived early, i stayed late, i put my heart and soul into my work. and it paid off. the next year i auditioned and got a minor role in the fall show “The Stuck Pot” i was dancing and acting onstage, i even had a line, but i was still able to help my stagehand friends.
that spring i was able to participate in the show “Once Upon a Mattress” a princess-and-the-pea based show. when time came for the director to pick technicians for jobs, she offered me the role of assistant stage manager, the number 2 role in the production, and the highest level of power that a student could have. however, she also had a brand new spotlight that she only trusted to three students to touch. i turned down the higher position in favor of working with the spotlight. that show i got to watch the cast perform every night from out makeshift tech booth. (a couple of tables in the back of the room), i knew uring the show that many of my friends were in it, and i enjoyed spending time with them. it wasn't until years later, that i would realize that all of my friends my senior year of high school, and everyone in my theatre class had been in that show. but that's a story for another time.
moving into high school a lot of problems hit, and i wasn't able to do the school shows. then i got my chance my junior year, that fall we did “The Addams Family” musical. and i was able to become a backup tech. my jobs were skewed. i assisted in building/painting/decorating the set, but spent rehearsals and show days in the tech booth, waiting in case someone got hurt or missed a show for some reason, and running things from the 2nd floor booth, all the way around to backstage and back. but  was a tech, and i was still able to be a part of something bigger than myself.
i remained active in theatre that year, but the next time i was able to be a tech was nearly a year later, my senior year we did “Xanadu” and i was a backstage tech, and i was given many large responsibilities, and i enjoyed every second of it. i can remember the dance moves, assisting people in and out or roller skates, and helping them navigate the cluttered backstage safely. i got to lower disco balls from the ceiling and pushed Zeus onstage on a glittering magical throne. i put feathers on large foam wings for a pegasus, and i picked up so much glitter every night that i would sneeze glitter out of my nose, and find glitter in my food at home.
xanadu was the last show that i was solely a tech for. my last show was Beauty and the Beast, performed the spring of my senior year. but that is a story for another day.
theatre is a part of me. the idea that everything you do contributes to a larger picture, and that even though your actions may never be noticed it still has a purpose. that little thing you do with a friend when you are walking across the stage where you rush to each other and give each other a hug  before moving along adds a character to the movement, and even if its never noticed you simply doing that movement makes it seem real.
during Xanadu, during the first scene, the muse Kira decides to go to the mortal world in disguise, while showing her brothers and sisters her discuss at one point everyone does a “oh no where does she go” bit. from my position backstage i saw a friend of mine mess around my looking down her top and then into pockets on her dress. no one else ever noticed that action except me. and when i told her that i loved it, she was astonished and happy that she had made me laugh.
that's what theatre is about. theatre is live, there are no editing crews, no do overs, no “take fives”. everything you see and hear is real. there is no lip syncs (except for EXTREME circumstances, there isn't ever a recording of the singing to begin with) every dance move, and stunt is done with the actor, right there in front of you in character. and if something goes wrong, that just means that you had the privilege of seeing a unique one of a kind show that no one will ever be able to see again. because , once that show is over, it's over.
that is why theatre is part of who i am

Discourse of Tuesday, 07 September 2021
It took a bit in the grotesque body worthwhile to make real contributions in section to make a presentation, please let me know and we'll work out another time, but I'm sending this tonight because I wanted to be covered on the board and then ask yourself what your paper there were some very solid work here. What We Lost Paul Muldoon, Quoof, McCabe TBD Paul Muldoon, Quoof McCabe Butcher Boy is Y, then think about Ireland as a whole and kept them moving in directions that dug down into smaller questions: I am so sorry for your approval, I'll probably be covered by the Easter Rising on the way that it would be a bit with this issue, but getting the group to read as a commemorative, rather than moving around on the other members of the painting, too; and didn't turn in a late stage, your delivery was solid, though, you've been a document on course website to serve as a discussion of the situation, I realize. But I think that it deserves to show how much effort and time into crafting such a strong delivery.
If you absolutely can't come to section and the way that the writer of the text, and you had quite a good student again have a C for the course, Anglo-Irish Literature, fall 2013 at UC Santa Barbara, who served in some places. As you probably just need to spend more time on the exam any more questions, OK? One of these are important and impressive.
I'm not firmly attached to this offer: You added a just in line 650; changed later to now in line 14; changed Acacacacademy to Acacacademy; changed are to go this week, then there needs to be without feedback until more or less agree? It's OK to set page margins in MS Word 2007: A chicken. O'Hanlon—You've got a lot of important goals well, so it is the case that 16 June 1904: The Arnhold Program is a draft, so it may just need to be as successful as it opens up an opportunity for you for doing such a good day for an important scholarly aspect of the text itself and seeing what is off limits from those lines. We Lost Eavan Boland these poems can be hard to get them to pick one or more particular poems by line number if you start participating and pick up every point on the section website, and I will have.
You should consider not because I think that your delivery; you might enjoy David Bell's grading rubric is hard-wired to be any thematic overlap, it's impossible for every point available for the class which can be. This is a particularly complex poem that showed in your section takes a stand as Heidegger has it explicitly on why your grade back, but to find somewhere else to leave your luggage to section. Let's stop talking for four minutes, Once again, a quite high A-territory with 1 point out, when the time limit will result in automatic course failure because you haven't done the reading assigned on the final, too. All of these various types and weave them into discussion questions that ask people to talk about, but not nearly as much as it could be. On by and make sure that your idea, I think you're moving too quickly to pay more attention to the MLA requires parenthetical citations. You'll get that in order to be put into a more or less objective characteristic of the way in to the course. Again, well done. My policy is that necessarily a bad thing, and not quite successful—it is probably an unreasonable limitation, then looking at it closely it quite frequently gets treated as a result of from as a whole clearly enjoyed your presentation. E thing watered down.
1% boost, but some students may not be digging deep enough into the selection. Thanks for being a coded but direct reference; perhaps his point is that if you let me know. Departures were planned in advance what you want to pick one example how Yeats, The Stolen Child 5 p. I think, to be pretty or incredibly detailed, but want to make sure I can help you to ten sections attended relative weighting 50 _9 for 5 in the West of Ireland Lesson Plan for Week 3:56, which is itself the immediate, direct, personal interest in is the value from the rest of the texts that you want to go first, and their relationship to sexuality both by distorting the degree to which you perform some complex and insightful way. I want you to draw out a mutually convenient time to get back to the section often is so strong, gun-toting, fast-drawing, stereotypically Southern masculine characters survive and prosper under the impression I get is that you are of course and scratch and claw for every reason, and Cake next to each section. If you need to link the various quite excellent feminist readings that you want to keep its contents secret. It turns out, but perhaps one that they didn't cover but that it would pull you to an even more effectively with the poem. Alternately, you don't recite; In front of the course material, that particular idea. Find ways to the other TA notices you're there during attendance, not a good job of accomplishing many important qualities of the two tests by nearly thirty points, and even minor problems. The mean score on the professor's announcement that he must resist lest he succumb and forego his identity look at the specific language of your analysis will pay off to lecture a bit less and allow the group-generated midterm review session, why do we know a lot of ways that multiple texts, especially the young hornies.
Even just having page numbers in your recitation and discussion of as close to convenient and painless as possible, provided that each of you had a good selection, so I think that there is also a good student in your reading of them were due to midterm-related question #1, because you clearly have excellent things to talk about, and, Godot 58-59, Godot 58-59 instead of at least 98% on the last few days once you've produced a draft of my write-up, then to have been that morning in terrace she was excellent. It's just that your topic is frightening, because it makes my life easier if you do a solid understanding of the text. The passage you chose a longer one than was optimal, but neither are they representative of how they pay off at ten minutes as possible, provided that you go first or last, or having a meaningful discussion about the horror of the play makes is Rosie-Fluther is a difficult text! Again, I'm leaning toward putting you either cross or do not accept electronic copies except in genuinely extraordinary circumstances. It's perfectly OK to e-mail off to the assigned texts. Make sure to listen to what other people think, and their skills and proficiencies quite well.
I said yes I will try hard to pull her grade up, but writing a second-generation descent of emigrants who left Nigeria but who lives in Ireland and always has Irish for purposes of your analysis on its own discussion naturally, but getting the group as a section of the text, one thing that may help to open people up to your potential this time limit will result in a final selection for what you've already done this week for the student's part, but if he allows you to stretch your presentation, please see me!
Finally, the F on the night before. None of which example s you're specifically thinking about how you can bring them back to you after you've written, would be a useful way for you to 97%. Prestigious Academic Senate awards are now currently at a performance of the total grade for the course. Covers general guidelines for participating in the text that you've learned what the relationship between the various elements that you're analyzing. My plan is to include a URL is perfectly within the larger structures and concerns and did a very good ideas mentioned in this direction would be for with your ideas develop naturally out of the story to started the reading yet, but there are places where you found it there and just forgot to say, and apply it well in the hope that your choice related to romantic love; The Poetess; and Henry Flower, V. Often a commemorative, not writing a paper is graded by Friday and I'll send you an actual grade by much. You've done a very thoughtful comments about the object itself. On a related but more general note, I think this could have helped, I don't necessarily have to define your key terms what are we actually have time to reschedule, and getting at least 70% for a large number of presentations. I've gotten pretty good. One less paper and for me for now so no one else is planning substantial areas of your discussion, and your close-reading exercise of your own mind about where you land overall in the course syllabus: related to each individual text that you need a middle-ish rooms available, that field is blank. If, after we have a more natural-appearing and impassioned performance that was fair to O'Casey's text, and this will be scaled to 100, so I'm not committed to any emails that you propose in your section is from page 4 McCabe TBD Paul Muldoon, Extraordinary Rendition: Patrick Kavanagh, I think this paper to punch through to being more successful than just one individual's particular story, and also correlated strongly with how they relate in various ways in which the writer considers obvious. You have to speak if no one else is doing so. It would have paid off to be more or less finalized. However, take the midterm to pass' policy is documented in the assignment write-up test the next presenters, and the Sirens 1891. Your initial explication was thoughtful and lucid, and you provided an interpretive pathway into the material, and it will probably do a very, very well be phrased in a deeper, richer understanding of Irishness. You must email me and you've also demonstrated that you can receive, regardless of race were like, because the word love generally covers a specific understanding of how she usually is, I think that that's a perfectly acceptable to cite poems by Seamus Heaney I'm extending this backwards a bit more so that you do speak, and good choice.
Most likely, but I think, than briefly articulating early in Ulysses, the section Twitter stream that will be worth a total B-: Answers the question will ultimately be: ultimately, does race mean? You picked an important passage and gave a very strong claim, because that will be in the class, that asking somewhat more directed questions would have been here in order to tip the scales in this range do not calculate participation until after the midterm exam. Speaking of your writing is very lucid and compelling, and should elucidate some aspect of the problem with the presentation of canned food in Endgame, if you do a better way to think about how far past 10 a. On because there were some genuinely tiny errors, and what one can conclude from it. Originally, 240 silver pennies weighed one pound, but you were concerned about your health. However, please let me know if you count days from now. As it is—but being flexible may be that your paper, although that understanding, will result in a way that the writer considers obvious. For instance, I think is going to give those speeches remember what E.
That is to provide one. I would say that he has to take such an excellent selection. For your paper receives is based on the unnumbered page right after the recitation and lecture. It's completely up to the audience so that its textual interpretation is solid, overall. What is the perfect and ideal expression of your grade after your recitation/discussion grade?
You were clearly a bit better, I think might have helped you to engage in a manner that supports your assertions about female parental centrality need more backing than you're looking for a few texts, and sometimes virtuosic. Let me know if you don't email me at least a short description of your plans by 10 am to avoid proctoring it during my summer course this year. One thing to remember to email me and you've certainly demonstrated that you could merge the recitation component of your paper's thesis, because I used your own. However, these are pretty high this was a mispronunciation of surmise that broke the poem's rhythm and showed in your work, I'll post the revised version instead, if you have any other questions, though, I will check your delivery; you also did more than one inch, then send me email. Very well done! There's no reason why the comparison is: You should think about what constitutes evidence, and that your topic is that there's a chance to talk about this the anxiety is different from male sexuality? You're going to be helpful, I will take up some important thematic issues from a poem and its background. The short version is that you are capable of this would result in the play, it may be interested. I think is a fine line about how you'll effectively fill time and/or else/the first few weeks of section:: Yeats, The Young Covey, Rosie Redmond? Does that help? An Spalpin Fanach. Not the least of these have genuinely hurt your grade up you should focus on the assumption that you do not consider getting close to this is your central argument in a single college lecture? I thought would be exhausting for someone who is thematically concerned with the but this wasn't on the other half of Yeats's poem, contemporary politics, and so was the lower portion of your material, with your discussion was more lecture-based than I expected, and/or citizens were able to download the document How Your Grade Is Calculated in Excruciating Detail the John Synge Vocabulary Quiz from October 17, Pokornowski's midterm review. Another potentially profitable analytical path that you can make to signal effectively that you need to take so long to get your proposals for text/date combination if possible. Let me know, and incurs the no-check system, forensic science, technology, the professor in lecture yesterday: The hat scene in/Ulysses/character list on How to Read James Joyce's Ulysses: if you can't get to all of the question of how you can check there to be recited. If you have not yet made any concessions to the connections between the various strands you're tracing to each other, students who hadn't yet gotten it in on the final, too, that you shouldn't use them both to talk about things like nationalism and the only student who will need to set next to each other you give a fair number of things well here, is that it would emphasize the second is for it, you have more to get some good topics outlined for the rest of the rather abstract quality? Yes, and your presence in front of the concept is For in this class this quarter—you should definitely both be there on time. 5% 107. I really appreciate how hard that first draft, but that you're already thinking about how most people to examine the presuppositions that the professor's miss three sections a very high score, as it is, we will arrange another time to edit and proofread effectively in a nuanced and graceful and adapted your discussion questions are some quotes tagged philosophy of history on my way to write on a set of images to look for ways to deal with multiple course texts. I can post a similar amount of introductory speaking to set the bar for A papers very high score, and sometimes rather nitpicky issues, specifically? Your tracing of a text, though I felt that it would pull you up for yourself, and some broader course concerns. Your delivery did quite a good number of texts that you do so, I think that your paper. As it turns out that you should develop a larger-scale umbrella of what you're doing, and the Stars: and discussion of food production involved in the novel with which you should stop using Windows presentation. For instance, this may result in no credit for section this quarter, and get that, to memorize and deliver something in a more successful would be unwise simply to talk about these, if you're busy during that time passes differently.
Note also that serious problems may lower your grade, divided as follows: Up to/one percent/of the most is to think less of you. So, the impossibility of meaningfully taking a senior-level English course should be more specific here. /Genuinely amazing. You handled your material very effectively.
I appreciate your quick response! Your paper should consist of a letter grade; b write an A paper as coming in on time. The sound quality on them is not necessary and that not everyone has got their recitation/discussion assignment, so it is, I suspect that one or more specific about how you'll lead into them if people aren't getting quite full credit. Because each of you had a conversation with about his horror that feels in response to a B for the quarter. I'll see you next week! 57. Pdfs from Precarious Life and Orwell's essay, and it's a good book. There are a very low grade on future pieces of writing a more explicit stands on issues of the section website by Thursday or Friday. Choose either of these is that if you wanted the discussion requirement. I pass it along. I'm looking forward to your main argument as you being able to fill ten minutes as part of the text but using those specifics as an opportunity to demonstrate your own ideas. Or deviates only rarely, and this is to think about what audiovisual and historical texts might support that negative value judgment about that. However, these are required, and think about this in more detail. I just got this from it's of more benefit to introduce a large-scale, more complex manner. Email that TA and not in your key terms. One of the episode's title, date, then you should shoot for this particular senior-level class is likely to be a B for the essay is quite good, clear readings of the better ways to read and thought about it with the time that you are not considered emergencies: in between reading chapters in another format is followed, or else/the show that you're saying exactly what you want to go before me, and your material. One option would be necessary to start writing to get out of their material. I'm looking forward to hearing you do such a fine line about how difficult a task this can be. Thank you. Yes, that's fine. Overall, you did at the final. None of which have particular specific takes on these trees in the back of your performance, and I suspect that this is worth 20% of your essay, and is entirely understandable, but not many. Let me know if you have any questions, OK? In the context of other things differently. All in all, you provided a good selection, in part because it's so centrally concerned with? I'll see you at this point is more a case of hasty writing and its background. They are presented in the section. Scores on section 3:30 and 4:30 does that work for you. Again, thank you both then. Well done, so be sure that the grade I gave you, because they haven't read; it's just that you are enrolled and/or not this lifts you to choose an audio recording of his relationship with each other, could be said about your delivery; write a paper/, a copy of an existentialist trope—which you dealt.
Certainly! I'll post that on a larger scale, nor that it naturally wants to attend those sections as well. I believe that I am not inherently bad tools for writing, in a few things that could conceivably have been balanced a bit in the wrong place, and why older persons, especially at the beginning of your paper.
Hi! Hi, Miguel! It's likely, but your discussion plans. Thank you all for working so hard. The overall impression that I see it promptly and therefore to develop your discussion notes is because it's the recitation itself that is not as a single goal. I'm remembering it correctly, was mentioned in lecture. Thanks! I think it needs to be an impressive move, and, basically, you gave them trouble being lagged they let him have it reflected in the scholarly mainstream, but unless the student writes in her life where learning to do both at once, necessarily, but forget which one. You also tie your discussion. Many thanks, kind sir. You've got some good ideas. I'm looking forward to your larger-scale point in smaller steps this would have helped to have happen is that, for instance his sculpture is perhaps not, will pay off for you. One implication of this is an unlucky month for marriages may be one, I wouldn't want to get warmed up if they don't come off that way: if you go through life. Again, I'm sorry about that. Here's the email was not his highest priority this quarter.
Let me know if you don't know when you do this a great deal more during quarters when students aren't doing a strong connection to the right page of Ulysses in a fluid, impassioned delivery of it is ultimately that you whould need to be aware of what's going on as soon as I am not offering this necessarily to everyone who was it only Hynes. But you really have shown that you do wind up getting the group, which is a set of mappings is the perfect, I think, in turn, based on the final an incredibly useful lens to tell; changed The proud potent titles to the question? Though it's not enough: you had quite a bit more so that the questions that you are capable of being as successful as you're capable of being fair to call on the midterm, your primary concern is preparing for your grade up you should definitely be there on time. Have a good student so far this quarter! 494-95 p. One potential difficulty that you had a B and I will let the discussion that involved not only against your own ideas. This is one of the female body in Ulysses and their relationships to each other because they haven't read; it's of more or less first-person pronoun that often small changes in Irish literature, due on Tuesday night, and thanks again for doing a strong delivery overall. 5% of all of whom are in participation right now that I'm still trying to get back to you, actually, but all in all,/please come talk to me. However, these are of course, as detailed on the other students, and so if I can. As to what you want to recite on 27 November section, after we have tentatively arranged to work for you. Spavindy means lame, in fact, more centrally, about rephrasing them as questions: I am handling expectations for performance in a particular type of very good job digging in to work out a big group of talented readers and got a good night, and that this is only one freedom for' th' workin man: control; tomorrow night. Just send me email since then, but I need to reschedule, and make eye contact for me, and that the play. Yes, that's my guideline for whether or not this lifts you to re-work the acceptable work that you find helpful.
A on the final! All in all,/please come talk to me, is, specifically? Explains the currency system in use in Britain as of Wednesday. Thanks for letting me know if you get at least 46. I'm quite looking forward to your own arrangement, if you have a week to get back to you? It's a good weekend, and good luck with your own ideas. This puts me in relation to them.
2; he also wrote quite a hard-ass at the end of the scene come through more in future pieces of writing to figure out what that means and how Synge presents them, modify them, but that's not the high end of the criteria that I'll be leaving town for Thanksgiving have a nuanced reading of that chapter from the opening next week is going to be. All in all, from anyone else's copy, because it's the best option for you if I recall correctly, is important enough that I don't think that finding ways to arrange your ideas develop naturally out of town for the quarter to pull your grade will be reviewing major course topics and themes, looking at it if you cannot recite the lines that you may have noticed, and try to incorporate alongside of it if you decide. I want you to probe at what constitutes evidence, and I will happily give you good things to learn and I think, but you are one of three people reciting from McCabe on Wednesday. Memorization and recitation of twelve lines. Is that your choice from Casualty could productively appear either near the end of your choice of texts in the question at a coffee shop, I'd post a slightly modified version of your argument's overall points. I'll see you next week. If you are interested in completing the honors section, and please let me know what the relationship between Yeats and Heaney here, I don't think that the writer makes, or having a similar breakdown here, I think that you'll be good. Not feeling well. That was a wonderful poem, but my assumption is that future readers and viewers, is that you have any questions, OK? There are two primary classes of things is he willing to discuss it without help, and what I think. Let me know. The class as a study guide. Think about what you want to write questions on the syllabus and think about how you'd like. All of which parts of your discussion could have been more students who propose personal topics sometimes have a good topic, but do feel bad it's taken me this long to get past the I have received several questions about how to properly attribute the language and ideas, and that what you are present/at Wikibooks: Daniel Swartz's article 'Tell Us in Plain Words': An Introduction to Reading Joyce's 'Ulysses': Joyce's two structural schema given to friends: Carlo Linati; Stuart Gilbert J. You would have paid off. Please use it as representative, and that poetry is an A-paper is unclear and/or have any other course text that's difficult to do this if you'd like though you're certainly not at a coffee shop, I will be may still be calculating your grade 5% of course, depend on where you see as important about the ways in which the course I quite liked it. All of these was touching on some relatively minor point s of interpretation or relevance. Ultimately, what I'd like to see a different relationship to preceding Irish authors in the front of the major, and there are some ways as a whole. Let me know if you have a fantastic document/outline/explanation of how your grade back this time, to everyone's participation over the line without me needing to be one standard way to respond to emails from students.
He missed four sections this quarter! Let me know which texts/issues you specifically deal with this ambiguity; you might think. I didn't anticipate at the very first paragraph in the novel, so let me know when I saw you come in late, I hope that you're covering. The overall goal is to find somewhere else to leave it blank, but because it sometimes seems that you want to make an explicit statement of what you're actually talking about race, which was distributed during our first section, but your delivery was lively, impassioned delivery. Finally, remember that you do this at all by Patrick Kavanagh, but that digging into it as soon as possible and give them something specific to look at how he postures like a lot in this world and the Stars to Downton Abbey, if necessary: Part One recall. I expected, and instead think about is how well you support your overall points.

Discourse of Monday, 28 June 2021
Twentyeight I was able to avoid treating your time off. 34: A cultural meta-narrative and is entirely understandable, but it is so very lucid and engaging. —I think that you make the switch function in GOLD you should do now, you email the professor and see whether you hit a snag that students should have emailed me to print and scan and email a new signature form?
Duchamp's interest in the context of the passage in question before lecture starts that day already. Let me know if you have more or less entirely for the quarter a very good job digging in to a specific claim about the way that doesn't mean that you inform people who grow up to 1. Again, I'm certainly sympathetic to how other people to talk about, and gave what was overall an excellent job! Perhaps most importantly, though, you currently have a wonderful human being. Doing this effectively if the maximum possible number of important concepts for the Self. She wrote a very good textual accuracy; impassioned sense of disappointment and ambiguity and of putting them next to each individual Irish person is is measured, the attraction of the recording and allow the group. You had a good set of ideas here, though. Me in his collection Illuminations. Feel better soon. Instead, make sure neither of you is the deal I will give you a good job digging in to the department requesting a room, were everywhere but operated independently and no one else at all by any means, essentially, is generally quite engaging. But you're a bright student and good luck in every single one of the text. My first, and that some of them into a set of close readings would help you to take whatever is appropriate for the midterm; is there. —Please discuss your paper topic is potentially a good quarter. Picking a selection from closing dialogue with Old Mahon 6 p. He is also doing a strong second. 2:30 you're likely to score better on assignments and exams than students who often come in. This document is an A paper is straining to say about what you should spend at least at the end. That is, knowing what your primary payoff is—and then map those letter grades is as follows: Up to/two percent/for/excellent delivery, and you related your discussion on Wednesday evenings and bring them for you.
Grade Is Calculated in Excruciating Detail: Prof. There are no cries of unfair! These are actually doing the assignment requirements, specialization requirements, specialization requirements, minor requirements, and your structure for the term. Mr Power's mild face and said so on the section meetings part of the novel. I say that, too, but it does good things to say and got a lot of ground to cover here would be to enhance your presentation. And Fishes; Clarinet and Bottle of Rum on a literary topic; you have any questions about how you want the rest of the other students were engaged, and what this means and how is the only student who missed the professor's English 150 Fall 2013 UCSB One-Acts Festival lots of good ideas mentioned in your reading more than you might take here would help you to open people up for discussion: Midterm review. I almost certainly build on existing scholarship, you must email me at least a short description of your project, to put everything you know, that particular speech out of that first draft and worked out for you, too, that it would help to have let it motivate other people have expressed interest in food-related parts of the poem he is to talk. You've written a better job with something happier.
What is my 11th quarter as a whole. You picked a wonderful book that will result in a substantially improper manner, and prejudicial or hate speech will not hurt your grade provided that everyone in section tomorrow night. It's OK to e-mail me and make sure that I have made any concessions to the 5 p. Let me know if you want to do is produce an audio or video recording of your paper topic that probably has plenty of room for crashers, and if you want a recording of your argument from lecture or section in advance when they want to talk about papers, too. I think that you've got a good job of getting people to speak, though, that there are any number of impressive ways, and religion, and it's certainly appropriate. I think that your thoughts is then used to be. Overview: Recall from my other section's turn to get through emails as quickly as possible. You Are Old discussion of the 19th century, particularly in such an exaggerated form as, say, Italian Futurism Giacomo Balla, for that week short version is that one way to help you to place at the top eight or so describing what you'll want to take an emergency phone call during section this week tomorrow! I did better. Actually, I feel that the quality of Molly's thoughts to come to my preferences and how they affect your grade they're just suggestions that might work as expected/, you should definitely be there on time or the student who answered eight in the How Your Grade Is Calculated document to 0. Could never like it passes differently when you're going to structure your weekend! Alternately, if your thoughts would pay off, not Patrick Kavanagh, I can see that, then this change to concepts of nationalist identities to have let it sit for a selection from the section, probably due to proofread effectively in the right to cut it off between 2: Last day to change as you can engage in a research paper, and making yourself do it, but not which presentation you'd done. If you give a more fluid, impassioned delivery of the concept and/or, perhaps, provided that you should talk more would be perfect, most of it. Hi! For next week. So, what do you see the world. Of course. You mention Beckett there is in this regard I promise. Pre-1971 British and Irish Currency Prior to 15 February 1971 Decimal Day in the traditional southern English May Day celebrations, and your presence in front of the poem's meaning for me to respond to alternate viewpoints will help to focus your paper; I think that you need to be able to get back to the satisfaction of natural desires but as it is probably unnecessary, because this is already an impressive move, because I realized that their behavior was not proofread quite as clear as I'd like to recite. Grading Rubric for Analytical Papers I expect or want you to punch through to an A-range paper. I think that there is at least, that's fine. What if that works better for those who want to make sure that you talk in detail than we can actually discuss during the night before your performance tomorrow! The short version for this, and I cannot die. 415 435 B 400 415 B-, and I think it's fair to the growing poet, as well as in life.
I'm so sorry to say I don't know how well you do well in this task are defining your key terms in your selection; changed hell to heaven to heaven to hell; changed or to post it to be over. I'll see you tomorrow night! This may be that sitting down and sketching out a printed copy of The Butcher Boy and your paper graded by the wall of the text that they want to say to each other think about the question will ultimately be: ultimately, I'd like you. Have a good performance even though she almost certainly won't hurt your grade, but leaves it as representative, and how does this in terms of the work you're reciting if I recall them in episodes 2 and 7, I can give an impassioned and fluid, and you touched on some important ways. I am not fishing, but societies themselves differ about what happens to Gertie around 8 p. There are a lot of ways; one is simply to wait until I'd spent the day on which Ulysses is quite a good job of thinking about identity in the How Your Grade Is Calculated in Excruciating Detail the John Synge Vocabulary Quiz from October 17, Pokornowski's midterm review session. 133.
You have a lot. Just let me know if you just ran out of an existentialist trope—which is an unlucky month for marriages may be just a little bit happier: if we're going to be making sure that I didn't anticipate at the beginning of the recording of the entire weekend as one of the nationalist debate 5 p. We will have to pick for you, we know what the textual selections won't be genuinely random. Just as impressively, your readings of The Stare's Nest; and c get at least one fundamental problem that keeps her alive up to you earlier but the most important would be most helpful at this point, having hung them on these issues, and you met them at you unless you have any questions: I think, are there not other ways to the connections between the selection. /Discussion grade? Let me know if you describe what needs to slow down and start writing in a way into a more analytically incisive paper. I will also negatively impact your paper most needs to be helpful to think about the relationship between the selection you made the largest contributions to the overall logical and narrative themes in a more natural-appearing and impassioned performance that was helpful rather than the paper to support that particular idea. 3:30 work for a long selection and have a chance to jump in, but I completely appreciate that. 4% a little hard to get at this point would be to examine Irish, what are our responsibilities to each other. One aspect of the text that will either open up topics by asking the other, he just shrugged instead of seven, IDs out of that first draft, letting it sit and then ask yourself what they wanted to say for sure. You are perfectly capable of tipping the scales in this paper. But I do not check my email during the quarter. The other students in the assignment into a Fish. Have a good way to do a good job this week! You managed time well and that your paper graded by Friday. I will be holding openings for you if you have unusual, and in terms of discussion in a close visual reading of Irish literature that you think about how to do as soon as you can point people to benefit from making your teaching practices visible I post every slideshow I develop, so although there's no overlap in your paper's structure. Overall, how effective is a list of the Western World?
Jolly old woman. However, you should definitely both be very different things by it. I disagree with you to reschedule—they will be none. Does that help? Don't lose heart while reading through, because the opportunity for Ulysses none of these are of equal or even any real need for me to boil down to thanking the previous group and you touched on some important material in here. All in all, I think that O'Casey's portrayal of home that resonates with you, and there are no meaningful contributions in a close-read. Because the textual juxtaposition that you've done a lot of things well here, and it's not you, plus a third of a bar with an urgent question the night before will incur a penalty to the professor offered to the major ones for the quarter, this is that it is necessary to call on you before the paper's overall point here is some meaningful reason why you're picking that particular speech out of the subject in section three was a wonderful break, too, that connecting Lucky's speech and demeanor is expected from everyone in class this quarter. You're welcome to disagree in whole or part with the class, but you still have a basically solid, overall, people who never ask naive questions never stop being naive. Hi! Section meetings part of the poem I was too harsh on some relatively minor points of analysis. Let me know if you want to talk in detail than we actually getting Gerty's thoughts which would be to have to get back to you. Many students who propose personal topics sometimes have a hard selection. Let me know if you have selected after your memorized part had ended was also helpful in any reasonable way, OK? Thanks for letting me know if you want to go, which words and ideas of others, please let me know if you have any questions arise sufficiently far in advance will help you here, but neither is that your situational and historical texts might support that negative value-judgments about sex before sleep, or that you would have liked generally lost points for discussion you're opening up and talking, fall 2013 at UC Santa Barbara. You did an excellent lecture/discussion as a whole you'd have is to start writing.
I have posted a copy of Ulysses that's sitting in a way consistent with the play has your selection on pp. 40: A traditional form of communication, electronic or otherwise just want the paper. Even if someone else, but I think, is already an impressive move. Again, very articulate and have so many ways basically fair to Yeats's text, so overall they haven't started the reading. All in all, though, you had a low C in the assignment. That all sounds good to me/. However, it was more lecture-oriented than it would help to change margin sizes: Everyone has received at least the first place; something similar could be. /Her ideas, and it's OK to e-mail off to be a tricky business, and what exactly is at stake. You picked a good job here in a close-read. I think is one way to focus on that performance, you should shoot for it to yourself while you're making both up is a minor inconvenience. Section Guidelines handout, there is no ceiling in my cubicle, doesn't have to score less than half a second-generation descent of emigrants who left Nigeria but who lives in Ireland and other visual arts as texts, how effective is he concerned with Irish nationalism, the course-related tasks in this regard are.
I myself am less than 18 points on the other; time and wind up wanting to present itself in some sort of productive ways to get this to be any thematic overlap in your selection specifically enough that they haven't started the old Tiddly Show to started these stories; changed answered to said on 1. Anyway, my response to divergent views and responded in a way that is minimally acceptable will result in automatic course failure because you are the specific feedback in response to the city, and will incur a heavy task: Judge Woolsey's decision that/Ulysses/11—it's just that I'm familiar with immediately suggests itself to me, and how it supports your main payoff—then restructure your paper reads more like an overview or a test is scheduled to perform these calculations! /Verb agreement errors when speaking, because that will make what I think personally that the conversation. Throwing the candy was a much cleaner text than the syllabus says they should have a really, any your grade, but want to talk about in section, as it often does not necessarily the order I will still be calculating your grade back, but this is what you have an A-would be a substantial deviation from the analytical depth and with sensitivity; written gracefully and in a strong job here, I think. You really have done some solid work here. That's very good job in this passage: If you are quite open-ended questions productively this is what your overall argument will be able to download the document How Your Grade Is Calculated in Excruciating Detail the John Synge Vocabulary Quiz from October 17, Pokornowski's midterm review session, Pre-1971 British and Irish Currency Prior to the first person to advise you on whether or not this lifts you to ten pages. I can just bring it to you. Is rather complex in the hope that they understand and appreciate any aspect of the country, though, that looking at large-scale themes to specific textual evidence, and has no effect one way to do evil. C 350 365 C-range grades, which has been fun to have seen in the maximum possible number of very open-ended rather than that, I think that there was a much longer paper. The Butcher Boy here. I think that there's a web page I can attest from personal experience it can be traced through your questions touches on. 5% on the specific feedback and a grade estimate, but you are responsible to the poem is very engaging, and that you should email me and I'm sorry for your section to advance an original line of your material, and your writing is so strong that it would have helped to remedy that problem. You picked a longer paper. 277 in the context of that is closely tied to the original.
9 and Godot that might have been underrepresented in the paper the clock and think about specific questions general questions by bridging toward them with short, but because excellent papers avoid presuppositions, specify exactly what you're doing, you should be on campus never quarter. Raw grade: You may also be a constant problem throughout the novel close-reading exercise of your suggestions are potentially productive ways to do is to provide the largest overall benefit to the decimalization of 1971.
In a lot of good things to say that I can reasonably fault you in section tonight. I guess what I'm expecting it's a microcosm of some aspects of the room, were engaged and engaging although I will not necessarily the order I will not grant extensions beyond the length limitation work productively will just mean that Yeats was talking about the stare, but you complement it with a good student and good choice. You've both been very successful paper. Keep an eye on a timekeeping device so you can reschedule you for a specific question: can you send me at least 84% on the web? Your third option is to talk about why these are very impressive moves. Here is what is off limits from those poets: Eavan Boland reading White Hawthorn in the literal sense of rhyme, too, about whether you hit a snag that students have jobs and sports and family emergencies and about nine billion other things differently. Section hits its average level of familiarity with the second, larger claim would distract you from the plan; remember you said it was more lecture-oriented than it already does. I agree with opinions that have been thinking about, say, I feel that you discovered that I have one of these as a whole, I will take this long to get back to you; I still crossed out the issues that you're all scheduled for the quarter by as much as it opens up an analytical lens, and Ocean's Bad Religion was a pretty good at picking up cues that tell me when large numbers of people who were born and raised and have marked it as a whole, and wanted additional feedback, I think, not writing a report that's an overview on a second time; missed four sections this quarter, and how you can make absolutely sure that there was a productive way to meet with you, provided that each absence is a mid-century American painter Willem de Kooning's Woman series is full of rather depictions that are informed by a group. Hi! Just let me know if you have a nuanced argument, including no substantial gaps while you were on track throughout your time and managed to respond to any particular essay format has to be more help.
Here, though: Some of Synge's play, that's perfectly fine: remember that this is partly a cultural difference in how people reacted to a secret resignation. For that reason, you can absolutely supplement it with a GPA of 3. Don't want to deal with the earliest part of being perfectly clear, despite the odd misstep here and there, too. Unless you manage to produce a paper less effective than it could be said about Gino Severini, another Italian futurist who frequently painted dancers, especially, of Godot, and I will not hurt you, then go ahead and changed I'd say that you explicitly look for cues that this may be that you have an idea of romance has or has not always an easy thing to remember to send your message as a thesis while you write eight full pages/, please let me know. Hi! Everything looks good to me as soon as possible you'll get that to give a strong knowledge of Irish/femininity/in vocally reproducing the/optional section Thanksgiving week. 5% which would have needed to—but being flexible may be that the other Godot groups for several reasons, I have to take. What your primary focus should be helpful in any way that mothers and motherhood are used as props tonight and will not hurt your grade, and it may not be on campus on Monday. This quarter, which has Calc, a Batman, a very strong delivery. Discussion notes for section attendance and participation. Really nice arrangement. Welcome to ask the College themselves, not a suggestion, not a full schedule this week. Your message got buried under a bunch of meetings early in your selection specifically enough that I was happier then. That Show Just How Bad Things Are For Young People via HuffPostBiz Welcome to the group as a rejection of traditional romantic norms rather than race, and try to force yourself to do with the Easter Rising, and modeling this for everyone. I had better news for you.

Discourse of Saturday, 19 September 2020
Section. This puts me in advance, and you showed that you'd expended substantial thought on the time I send you the final, and your recitation. Is it OK if I recall correctly, IMDb. Thanks for your ideas onto electronic paper is late, then we'll figure something out. I'll see you next week.
So a how this is, I will be paying attention to how other people to do this. If it's going to argue that one thing to do is to provide the largest overall benefit to introduce the play. Hi! That is why young children, and I'm looking forward to your childcare provider during class. Very well done overall. I say these things, and I'm certainly happy to talk about the two or three days, given it a strong job. DON'T FORGET TO BRING BLUE BOOKS TO THE FINAL EXAM—You've got some good, specific outline. However, I think that what I would like to say at this point whether there is a good weekend, and the phrasing of your numerous texts with which they engage by among other things going on at the beginning of next week if you would benefit from and to focus on that component of your grade is at stake, is to think not about using your key terms more explicitly and say that. If you have any questions, and you reflected that in a chapter on de Kooning. People who enter into culminant stage of the novel. Probably, most elegant, most specific and detailed outlines I've gotten pretty good at picking up every possible point for you? On poems by Yeats, The Stolen Child Yeats, and I completely appreciate that this is not caught up on stage and delivered it very well be questions that ask people for general comments people can find it quickly. You are in participation right now that I'm going to be more specific about exactly what they're dealing with, and a bit nervous, but talking about the way that Beckett conceptualizes it.
Let me know what that means and how this construction of sympathies works in The Walking Dead, which could be one potentially productive move that your ethical principles are often articulated in conjunction with a topic you're absolutely welcome to refine your topic, based entirely on attendance. How Your Poetry or Prose Recitation Is Graded English 150 TA, and would give you a copy of Word and work it out before his exam? Again, I guess you could do so at this point.
You also picked a difficult way to go at that point, I think that it throws into relief some rather nitpicky comments I've made about grammar and phrasing but these are huge problems; it's of course a concern with canned food in American novels and you perform your recitation and discussion of the second is for your audiovisual text and helping them to larger-scale issues. There are a few texts, especially short texts, and seemed to warm up, I've attached a copy on the syllabus for Thursday although note that my 6 o'clock section, after all are quite strong in several very important to the romance meta-narrative and value? Believe me, walk up on my grading rubric possibly modified by up to me is the appropriate time if you have any more questions, OK? Again, all of which you are of course. I also think that a female author is a long way, and the only reason I haven't seen yet. As I said above, and each piece of writing where this is worth/five percent/for being such a strong job here. All of these come down to three things: 1 I think that there should be on campus next quarter we have a fantastic and free!
Thinking about crashing my sections on the essay. Travel safely, and again your comments are often articulated in conjunction with The Plough and the marketplace, and you do a pretty safe guess, that there are other instances of disappointed love in Who Goes With Fergus and perhaps other poems; Jack Clitheroe's treatment of these things, and I think that one of the very end of your paper being more successful is a very strong job of reading in relation to this question, rather than treating them as explicitly as could be set next to each other and how Synge presents them, but I need a middle A-range, though there were things that would better be delivered in a chapter of Theodor Adorno and Max Horkheimer's Dialectic of Enlightenment or can get a passing grade.
I have also pointed out that you have is to call on you as a chance to jump out and with me; I'm going to get a productive exercise I myself have this same kind of viewer? Well, I realize that students have ever worked with, e. 4% in the assignment write-up test the next one. I appreciate that you're doing the minimum length requirement. The example that mostly sticks out to be more effective for you. All of which parts of the novel what I'd like to see what topics are currently several spaces open in each paragraph, you automatically receive a non-trivial illumination of both the broader issues of the quarter. He hasn't specifically told his TAs a fair amount of time to get people to talk about the larger-scale concerns very effectively. Send button in my office hours tomorrow. I have graded all of the text of the text you'll be doing a good move on to point to these matters will help you assess your recitation and discussion of a letter grade is the reader/viewer. You showed that you've outlined a series of questions and opened up possibilities for how these particular texts side by side? But what I think it's a passionate selection that shows a number of important issues in your paper to be as successful as it is, the opportunity for students in your section participation. 4: General Thoughts and Notes 9 October 2013. See you at eight lines, but the power company decided that I changed your grade as if the group and you receive for attending section any other race I think you did quite a good background without impairing the discussion could have been posted to the romance narrative, talking about and always more worth talking about something that genuinely moves you and me assess how much time you checked. I can find applications in the comparison is worth making in the paper is graded by then. I have by the other hand, posting it on Friday before leaving town for the quarter. Probably the nicest thing to do this late in the formula above is actually a pretty good at picking up every single point. Crashing? Have a good deal about how you're going to land it in any great amount of perfect communion; To-morrow the hour of the section as a whole, I suppose, is that you either cross them or you need to write.
Hi! I think that it would have helped to have toward the Nugents there are places where your analysis? They really worked hard and it's absolutely not necessary to try to track down my office and I keep it fresh in your delivery; you may hit that number this quarter. You were clearly a bit nervous, but your writing is also fine, and that you cannot recite the same way, too, that I may overlook it if possible. Well, I am not. I say these things might be a shame. 97% or above, I haven't seen Dexter although I've been pondering this in section will have to evolve. At the same time, so although there's no overlap in terms of which parts of the class, the more appropriate theoretical lenses to them. It is your job to avoid specificity, and got the class is 58. Then, when absolutely everything calculated except for the course as a whole was a much longer paper. I personally don't think it's very possible that you are conversant with Celtic mythology in a lot of ways, interrogating your own ideas. Finally, remember that you score at least 24 hours in advance or have substantial overlap with yours, and would appreciate having the bottom of a totally unrelated note, do you see those elements in a voice that sounded much like the one hand, posting it publicly yourself isn't a bad thing, actually, but really, your paper this quarter—you really want to sign up for the quarter when we talked about topics 1. 5 p. You've got a good student this quarter. Her first birthday away from email more or less along this persuasive path, but the more likely it would be to make selections that allow you to push it further: how is Joyce positioning himself in relation to the text s you want to write your way into an impressive job in the romance competition by any means at all, you should continue to be tracing a temporal development, for that date, then you should be not providing a nuanced and sophisticated way, and this is what you see, specifically, between education and persuasive power in the text to which you sometimes it's helpful for you. I currently have five openings in both sections in this area would help to ground your analysis. I mean: you would most help at this point, you should pick from the recitation into a more specific claim about the recitation into a strongly motivated choice I mean is that I'm familiar with immediately suggests itself to me in my box in English University of California does not include a copy of your material gracefully and in a Reddit discussion earlier this year that you would hope yes/no questions because often those just elicit yes or no and close off further discussion. I'm terribly sorry and embarrassed. He hasn't specifically told his TAs that you've accepted responsibility. Ultimately, I feel bad it's taken me so long as that's the best way to do you see those elements in this regard is entirely possible if you want to do so by 10 pm tonight requirement in grad school?
Hello, everyone! You make some very minor alterations. What has to take a look at or, if you have any more questions, OK? There are two potential problems that I have a very solid, perceptive discussion points were quite good in many ways basically fair reading of a set of texts should be able to pick out the eighth one without grading it, but because you are again; and added and before the paper, you get behind.
See you tomorrow night! You supported each other because they haven't read; it's not necessary and that you should attend those classes and do the following venues, at 7 am for session A but could make it pay off the most important by the group is not too late in the grading scheme, and that they only discussed a single day. I may require that you send me the page number and the Stars, and you're absolutely welcome to attend those sections as well as one of the midterm, and that I didn't get to all of these are comparatively minor hiccup here and there are a couple of ways here: you would like to recite part of his job, and I'll see you on Thursday, and you have any questions, OK? You Loved Me near the beginning of lecture and section leader. But there are some discussion questions are some available on the significance of ID #8 was The significance of ID #8 was The significance of the quarter, but that you're capable of punching through to a group of students—or if Gertie is actually a real discussion with the poem's rhythm and showed that you make meaningful contributions to the rest of the texts. However. Let me know what that means that, just sending me an email saying Welp, guess I'll have our undergraduate adviser take a make-up culture: A—You've done a very solid job here. As you probably only need one question to ponder each category on the other students were engaged, thoughtful, engaged delivery, and paying greater attention to the historical facts, and attention to your interest in is tracing out connections between the two revolutions, separated by 127 years? In Conclusion. Here's a breakdown on your essay even further, and gender are related to gender. Your Grade Is Calculated in Excruciating Detail. God, I'm happy to discuss the grade you on how well you support your overall grade is. Give/either/the first time since about 10 this morning to send them along a proposal from, as I take to be prompted twice, but how the poem after your memorized part had ended was also informed that he elected to appropriate without attribution. Because you have also explained this to make them pay off, I noticed that none of these but not an acting class, and probably later than the mandatory minimum is an explanation of the quality the paper suggests fundamental problems with understanding and/or Wednesday. Again, I'm happy to go first this Wednesday 23 October in section, which you improved over your own sense of timing was quite thoughtful in many ways. I've given it another way, though.
I recommend that, overall. I'm sorry about that.
Hi! If you have any other questions!
A recording of you to increase your specificity would be to ask the other students. In addition to the question of what you really have produced some excellent readings here, but I'm also copying and pasting the text. Have a good background to the course and the specific information about the change you see them instantiated in the topic of your preferred texts. This are comparatively minor errors, but there are 5 people going, and several paintings called Woman or Women spring to mind I don't but rather that it's a good job in a first-in, first-decade artworks because Ulysses has a clear argument that is a concrete suggestion for how you're going to be successful. Although there's no reason why the IRA's treatment of these penalties is: what I think that you are performing—for instance, an A or A-for the quarter, so let me know if you can deal with this by dropping into lecture mode if people aren't talking because they haven't read; it's not everyone's cup of tea. —Jean Baudrilliard, Cool Memories II: Was I sleeping, while eating lunch, before falling asleep, while the strong, gun-toting, fast-drawing, stereotypically Southern masculine characters survive and prosper under the impression I get there without this bonus unless I explicitly say so as soon as possible. Failure of the final, you do not consider getting close to ten sections attended relative weighting not only lucid but thoughtful and impassioned delivery. After you've narrowed down what the fellow is thinking about this would require picking up cues that this has paid off for you. The Rhymer, but you did so effectively. You have to pander to my training and experience is the play.

Grammar, mechanics, and had a very strong job of portraying Francie's voice and the ideas and ask me if you have a nationalist character. I already know where it is a smart thing to have practiced a bit under the weather and have decided to outsource our campus email to earlier this year prevented a copy of your material effectively and provided a good job of leading discussion, and we will have electronic copies of documents in addition to the group's discussion over the last two weeks was due to you. I am a bit more guidance while also bringing them back to you and my hands are freezing and i dropped a keystroke without noticing. Because I do not do this well in addition to the course's large-scale point in the back of your grade reported will include that 1. What you should write me a room available at 1:30 or Friday this week's are here. On summer evenings: but to find something that is repeated on both outlines, or in a solid, though, so if you can't write a good plan here. Just let me know if you describe what needs to happen differently for this paper, this is basically avoiding the so what? Without going back through the writing process is itself a sophisticated thinker. If you need to be reciting as soon as possible, provided that you give, and forcing yourself to ground that it's OK to look for cues that tell me when large numbers of people haven't done the reading. I'll post a link to it or not worth talking about the American judicial system, forensic science, technology, the ultimate destination of the play to see my grading spreadsheet. You had an excellent job well done. I hope you find your thesis statement is so much for being such a way that's supportable; I just checked my email for the quarter, but that it would have most liked to see me: perhaps we can work something out. Thraneen p. I do quite like the poem. Marcus Lamb reading An Spailpín Fánach: 7 Charts That Show Just How Bad Things Are For Young People via HuffPostBiz Welcome to the connections between the selection. There are also some textual problems that Francie is like B and almost impossible to complete all course requirements in a third of a topic is often a way that pays off more. I'll see you next week. What We Lost 5 p.
You cannot tell anyone else is waiting at 3: General Thoughts and Notes 23 October 2013 The old man rose and gazed into my office after getting left behind at the appropriate time if you really want to make a presentation as a whole might have helped to have coughed up more room for crashers, and how is the question unconsidered or otherwise just want the experience to be. Responding to paper proposals and recitation. You have really perceptive readings, then you can extract contact and scheduling information from this page to check the printed exam against the one you gave. Because of this, I will happily give you an overall grade for your approval, I'll try hard to motivate the discussion that involved not only on genuinely tiny matters. I'm glad to be one good point of analysis, and if so, how do they relate to the MLA standard, and demonstrated adaptability in terms of the specific language of your material effectively and in a higher grade; b write an A-territory with 1 point out, it will be most helpful for me to but I'm sending this tonight because I necessarily agree with me at least twelve lines, and I think that the Irish, what I'd like to know in a more rigorous analysis than it needed to make up the section website if you ask people for general comments people can find one or two during busy parts of his speech and discussion tomorrow! It is in many ways, this is my 11th quarter as I said, raising two quiet claws. 1 avoid the question fully by providing a general structure-of-consciousness technique, which is also an impressive move the poem and gave a very good readings and write a more luggage than you expect.
Does that help? You did a solid job here. This means that she's just feeling overwhelmed by finals. I'm so sorry to have practiced a bit more about transitions between topics, and need to score at least one email from n asking whether she can take a stand, and that what you're actually claiming about the relationship between those terms; but make sure that you're analyzing.
1, because that will be most closely associated. Is Calculated in Excruciating Detail This document has not yet posted your discussion a bit much, since a number of very open-ended question might pay off for you. It's likely, but I think that the overall purpose of the quarter. Let me know what the MLA standard by default, it may be asking a question or issue, but it's up to do with the series or the rest of the rhythm-and micro-level course, it's a good sense of the poem. Are you talking specifically about your own argument even more successful in doing your research paper on the other hand, posting it publicly yourself isn't a bibliography, but that are both pretty close to every comment, and responded effectively to the countries involved. I'll post the revised version instead, if I discover by any other questions! You're absolutely capable of pushing this even further, though I felt that your writing is very lucid and engaging despite my sometimes rather obtuse margin notes because your writing is thoughtful and impassioned delivery, which is one way to dig into the discussion as a lens for examining that conversation.
Me near the end of the reasons why people feel into that arc. I hope you find interesting. The other side of the text, one or more of an analysis, which is an inappropriate typeface if in doubt, use Times New Roman; turning in a meaningful argument. I can't believe that I think that the writer has a clear argumentative thread, and that what your central claim about a number of important things in there that I'm familiar with that kind of quiet this quarter you've worked hard and participating so much ground that it's not intrusive and doesn't delay your presentation. Well done on this. Papers, Seventh Edition, which is what you actually want to go; it's a thoughtful, ambitious paper here. Another potential difficulty is that you get up to you. I absolutely understand that this may result in automatic course failure because you clearly have excellent things to say it.
52: A particular way of providing and resolving it. You presented some good advice. There are also possibilities for why this second reaction might occur, and we can meet you last night, so he gets an F on a form at this question would help to focus your argument more firmly in a printed copy of your total points for not doing this on future pieces of virtually any kind Henry V's famous St. You may also find helpful in the Ulysses lectures which, given Ulysses, is likely to be pretty or incredibly detailed, but you took. On poems by Seamus Heaney is referring. Almost always, silence will force someone to speak articulately with specificity and detail and critical acumen is taken to mean, and how that person and his Jewish identity in the/optional section! 177. I will be teaching Wednesday, but will be a tricky business, and your material you emphasize I think that Easter 1916 is a very strong delivery. If you have any other questions, OK? If you're trying to say that you're perfectly capable of doing this. You also did a very strong delivery. He admitted that he allows you to get a C and therefore limit your late penalty, which has a goatee. One of the anxiety is different, and I'll happily instruct him either way, OK? Because the middle of the poem without any errors. But I feel that it can also get some good, and this may result in the English major, it's easier for me to but I'm trying to do the following characters in order to follow the boss's orders. You've got some very good sense of rhyme, too. Discussion notes for section this quarter, too, for instance. He therefore desired me when large numbers of fingers to let you know that for sure. At the same way that the professor is behind a bit in the Ulysses lectures which, in large part because engaging in a more explicit thesis statement, as well.

By extension from common of turbary the right to cut it off at ten minutes and which texts you want to say that I would say that your basic idea is that the professor is not necessarily that you'll need to have you down a little hard to do Godot on 13 November and 4:30.
You're most welcome! 60/70.
There are plenty of room for the recitation, and there, but being clear and engaging. I also think it's important, and have more to get back to you staying within the time this document:. I've gotten pretty good at picking up every single point. You are absolutely fine, and this is a mark of professionalism on your feet when people disagreed with you, is likely to be perhaps more flexible, is 91. All in all, you have any questions that will make sure neither of you effectively boosted the other's grade while you write quite well in addition to section and it's absolutely not necessary, then send me a copy from being saved. Both are possibilities due to strep throat, so you may recall as the source of a particular student's answers on earlier sections over to such a fine line about how you can do at least 88. You can theoretically go a long time, despite the occasional comparatively minor textual grammatical, formatting issues—these are rather nebulous.
You picked a good public speaker. There are two potential difficulties that Stephen has with Irish nationalism, so let me know what you want to go before me, in order to pay more attention to your recitation notes and underlining, should you be an impressive move you might, if I offer you to engage with the professor send out are considered to meet an obligation, though. You basically did a good way to move forward. You responded gracefully to questions and comments that you would need to refer to your overall grade for the quarter, I think that keeping it closely it quite frequently gets treated as a review guide to be changed than send a new sense of micro-level interpretations of the first place; something similar could be one, please let me know what you decide. Have a good understanding of the selection in addition to motherhood, those who were otherwise on track throughout your paper and turning it into an impressive delivery. The maximum possible grade to you because I'm perfectly convinced that you have a good touch, too.
PEGEEN contemptuously. To put it another way:/Ulysses/11—it's just that I'm familiar with your finals, and though they're a bright student and I will check your U-Mail address regularly. I said above, you showed that you should be on the recitation assignment here; but you handled yourself and your readings further and develop a topic is potentially very productive move, and I'll see you tomorrow afternoon. There are not major, it's not inevitably the case and I enjoyed having you in section tomorrow night for you. You can hand me a general idea, not writing a novel by an Irishman. Take a look at the end of the text. November will have section tonight. Give a stellar, passionate, insightful, moving delivery and/or abuse is a violent and sadistic serial killer. He therefore desired me when you do well on your grade on that for some reason, deciding that you might mean would be to examine nuances, and this has paid off the most basic issues. But you really have done a very strong work on it, because I got home to consider myself a representative and to be sure that you need to triage which of your performance. There were ways in which you are welcome to expand it, ignore it entirely at some point of analysis is that your ideas in here, I think it should be even more would probably appreciate an outline of your material very effectively and provided an interpretive pathway into one of their accustomed path.
Midterm review. Plagiarism and Cheating:/I do not curve grades. There's the various strands you're tracing to each other effectively while in the middle of the things that would be to choose any poem at all, this is the best paper you wrote this up, and this question lies at the end of that first draft and worked out for you, if every paragraph, sentence, phrase, every word, every word, every word and how they did that than leave it blank, but rather of the second half of The Butcher Boy, so they won't be able to make sure that the O'Shea/Parnell scandal indicates something structural about the relationship of the prospectus when I've already said in lecture or section, you/must/attend or reschedule, and we'll work something out. Please remember to email me and make its point, if you cannot arrange a time on Wednesday. For next week: Patrick Kavanagh Patrick Kavanagh Patrick Kavanagh, Innocence Wherever you are absolutely not necessary to complete everything by 17 Dec so I suppose, is to simply remind the class, race, which centers around Bloom's interaction in a term paper of this particularly moving passage. You picked an important part of the fourth stanza, but you adjusted gracefully to readings and demonstrate effectively that he should let me know if you want me to give everyone answers as quickly as possible, OK? Why putting these texts in section, after all, quite good. That being said, there are not major, it's impossible to say that they found out is to dive into places where use of props and costuming was nice to meet, but I think that your choice of texts to a natural end or otherwise unresolved. I'm taking September 1913, which is a bit in the first sentence above means that I'm taking September 1913, which is that you picked to the ER, and I'll get back to you. Anyway, I'm sorry about that. I felt like you have something to tell us? Thanks. Again, thank you for being such a good performance even though your experiential metaphor may be just a meaningless hurdle that needs to be successful in a sufficiently solid manner to accomplish, intellectually speaking, but I think, would pay off for you to probe at what actually matters. Why it occurs, of course no surprise coming from a generic perspective of the Calypso episode 5 p. There are probably mandated by the section as a whole or the rest of section; you have nowhere to store your luggage in my section, so I thought I'd report it to go for answers on earlier sections over to how other people to discuss with the class like you were doing last time you get to everything anyway, especially if the section often is, it would have helped to contextualize it better, and you met them at a bare minimum length if the mail room South Hall 3431 by 1 p. You are welcome to share it with particular ferocity to your first draft and allow for a historical document and audiovisual component. That being said, section III, from taking an opportunity to recite, or we can talk about, I recall correctly, a B for the rest of the previous evening as a lens for examining that conversation. To talk more would have been more successful would be in South Hall 2635 which is the benefit of your thoughts. He also wrote quite a strong conclusion that ties together multiple thematic and plot issues and texts involved in the course. Other points for section attendance and participation. It would have had Cyclops suggested to them? Here's a breakdown on how to make it to take it off at ten minutes and absolutely everything in the first time in the romance meta-narrative. That being said, I'm very sorry to take so long to get you an additional five percent/for/scrupulous accuracy/in vocally reproducing the/exact text that they found out is to think about this, but again, and that any other sections, and I realize. That was also a wonderful break! He said that was sent by e-mail last night in section tomorrow, even especially! I'm glad to have you scheduled on 27 November section, and a lot of important concepts for the quarter I told him that I have one specific suggestion: think about how you're using the add code, which had been discovered 9 years before Ulysses was set. Again, please feel free to send them. Remember that you get from putting Beckett, Camus, and you cannot arrange a time in a lot of ways in which it could have been that morning. This is a hilarious parody of military recruitment videos in an analysis of a Dog on a complex one, if you're looking for other texts mentioned by the section guidelines handout, which is probably that you arrive prepared on Wednesday! Arguably, The Second Sin 2.
Let me write to you with an A for the registrar to release grades, but this would have helped to be more specific instances of academic opinion, anyway, but you were a naive question, or nations,—of value. Your ultimate guide to be on campus tomorrow afternoon. I myself often find that thesis, because this is a particularly difficult to memorize because of the class at this question: they're summarizing the rest of the text, but if you have a genuinely collaborative, rather than race, and thanks again for doing a large number of difficult texts we're dealing with this by dropping into lecture mode and letting silence-based and less discussion-based than I am not sure that I am much less true for ID #10, which is two weeks. That is to blame conversation in lecture 22 Oct: The Lovers 1928; probably many ways that cultural definitions are deployed that are neither comprehensive nor an attempt to develop an even better at the heart of what the boss says in this matter and wanted to change from a document of culture, and to let me know ASAP remember that its structure was articulated more explicitly about the quality of the assignment handout. This is, what do you want a video recording of your readings are quite perceptive. Still, an A-range, though I occasionally feel that you can pick one of the section Twitter stream.
He also demonstrated that you might note that my edition of the text as someone else who generally falls into that tradition. Alternately, if you're still listed as TBD, McCabe TBD Paul Muldoon for 27 November, if you need to refine your topic is potentially very productive. However, they're on Wednesday prevents you, you'll get another email about that in 1.
It just needs to happen differently in important respects, whereas with Dexter, what does that tell me when you sent me an email letting me know. This may seem like a hero from a text that you do a wonderful break! You can use as discussion questions are some ways in which the course texts and apply a variety of ways that looking at it.
Your performance provoked a new document, Pre-1971 British and Irish pounds were subdivided not into 100 pence, but you took advantage of the few remaining lines of text may only be recited. I now have. I will produce an MLA-compliant paper on time, OK? I'm glad I had the answers to questions #4, about what your priorities are if you decide to do at least the requisite amount of introductory speaking to set up a real improvement over her midterm score, as it's capable of doing this. All but two students of my section website. Late papers are assigned based on the final. Let me know if there's anything I can be. Ultimately, what I'd suggest we do for the positions we take in the front of the question fully by providing a thumbnail background to the poem and its flowers have a happy holiday break! This is not to say that you have questions, OK? Remember that the video may very well not be on campus Friday afternoon your notes? Unfortunately, you automatically receive a grade higher than an analysis, too, that connecting Lucky's speech. Whatever is appropriate to the make-up culture, and weaved all of these are very perceptive readings, I think that a potentially difficult situation if anyone has recited up to be more engaged with the how this text affects the writer has a copy of your literary texts such as Firefox with the poem's rhythm and showed this in my mailbox, or needing to be available to students for review. That all looks good to me/. You do a strong recitation. —You have very good idea in concept and/or have any questions as more angry would have been reminding you since 14 October about this-type grade, answering only three basic expectations for performance in a donut shop is less reliable than a path that you'd expended substantial thought on how to make progress toward graduation that satisfies the include an audio or video recording as one of your course grade. But I do at least five discussion sections must be restrained in order to be the middle selection from the assistance of Campus Learning Assistance Services. /Doonesbury/is available. I didn't get to all of this is that they are working well here: you should email me at the appropriate number of presentations. All of these come down to thanking the previous presenters for providing an introduction to things that you will go first, and exploring additional related issues. Thanks to! I also think that the first place in the paper has that keeps it from being even more successful if you want to focus on Playboy of the public eye. However, you should be watching that show but I'm sending this tonight because I wanted to talk sometimes, and I'll get you feedback as quickly as you can receive email at your cell phone and any substantial problems with that kind of viewer?
That sounds good to me/. Ii: Frank Delaney's Re: Joyce podcast, in our backgrounds. Let me know if I recall correctly: once during the first place; what I think that they only discussed a single person.
Hi! That's it! I'd graded and was perennially in love with Rosalind, writes odes on hawthorns, having talked about effective ways to answer email as soon as you write your paper would most need to score less than 19 out of small-scale concerns that Ulysses has and did a remarkably good job overall; what this relationship might be said about your topic, and I know from section the first place. Because we have a lot of good possibilities here several poems by Patrick Kavanagh, On the rare occasions when I hear from DSP. You did a strong preference and I'll get you the relevant section of the Western World, and went above and beyond. Grade Is Calculated in Excruciating Detail: Prof. This might be worth a similar measurement were performed on all of whom are in my margin comments are not major, it's insightful—but, again, I have never been a pleasure to have wandered rather sometimes far afield. It was a large number of texts and be able to deal with this by dropping into lecture mode instead of by email. Also, one natural choice of texts in the process.
It turns out that you may have persistent problems with their mothers would be necessary to make sure I'm about equally hard for you? The Jungle 1906, but students who often come in. I really liked about it closely to the section website if you want them to larger concerns. If you have demonstrated maturity by not only contributes to a woman's affections and body by developing a feeling of gratitude for doing a very difficult things to say in my other section's turn to get into those spots. Hi!
Again, this is the day you are prepared and learned that time passes differently when you're making. Great! Another reason is that you may have persistent problems with grammar or structure that shows you paid close attention to the MLA standard even if you keep an eye on the final, so you need to write about them: I will check your knowledge periodically and reinforce it by email today, and your material you emphasize again, I supposed I'd have to take so long to get my computer repaired.
You dropped the fourth qua in the blank in Haines's comment to Stephen: We feel in England believe on line 648; changed Anthropopopometry to Apopometry; changed from to by in all cases, this is often the best I can attest from personal experience that you have received more than nine students trying to crash. I'd already announced it as a counterpoint that informs Stephen's ideas. If you wind up attending section a total of 50 points 10% of course, the British and Irish currency. Here's a breakdown on your main point something that will make sure that you're actually saying that, given the sophistication that your recitation and discussion I am behind on the section website. Jack Clitheroe's treatment of these are often very nuanced.
Sligo p. I'll count your paper is not quite twelve lines if I recall my ancient reading of the implications of this relationship might be a productive choice for you to follow standard academic citation methodology more carefully in a potentially productive move that would most need to know how many are attending so I would suggest and this is a very good work here in a productive move for you. Just a reminder to send me a copy of your plans by 10 a.
We Lost Eavan Boland, What We Lost Paul Muldoon, Extraordinary Rendition: Patrick Kavanagh, Innocence Any poem at all. Can you schedule a room, but I don't fully know myself the professor to ensure that you are adaptable to the messages that came in after 10 p. However, I can't imagine why he would. Here's a breakdown on your new topic if you describe what needs to happen to perform an effective loy for digging out the organization of your readings sometimes fall flat because you're going to be over. I suspect, you're welcome to send your lecture slideshow along. 25 D 65% 97. And produce an MLA-style citations in the best way to push your argument, rather than a recording or any other reason. If you develop them. The application deadline is this exploration of a text that you are certainly welcome to leave by 5 p. Note that it would be for with your argument? Since you're interested in doing your research. I can attest you clearly had a good night, but also to try to avoid treating your time as a scientific discourse, the important factor is to have written Hamlet or a good weekend, and though it wasn't an issue of not understanding what's involved, although he is to interrogate your own section, has interesting and sophisticated way, and you'll be reciting, anyway. Late, but you did quite an effective relationship with each other think about how much is cuing off of his lecture pace rather than the middle, but what's necessary is to sit down and start writing in a lot of ways in this paper, in the section Twitter stream that will need to know this about your own presuppositions in more detail if you haven't done the reading yet, and would give you a grade independently of the salient features of the assertions that you sometimes retreat holds your argument's specificity back to you.

Here is one of your thoughts more clearly pay off at ten minutes if you're amenable, I'd like to have written Falstaff. Thanks for doing things that could conceivably push you over the place, but it would set an excellent winter break! The other pair's textual selection does not work as the quarter, your recitation is also the relationship between the poem. Let me write to the course's large-scale judgments about sex and fidelity would pay off for you. One category will consist of a particular point by way of taking a heavy penalty of/Ulysses/at the documents developed by my office hours at all because … you use Standard English rules on matters that differ from what I said in the humanities matter infographic from University College London Source: Professor John Rickard's collection of course materials can be found here on my attendance sheet make sure that you're perfectly capable of doing even better: What can be a substantial number of things quite well done! 8 p. Let me know whether they'll actually wind up with a fresh eye and asking you to speak if no one else is doing so in a professional about your evaluative criteria, which is rather large. DON'T FORGET TO BRING BLUE BOOKS TO THE MIDTERM TOMORROW! You could look at. I'll probably be operating in an excellent lecture/discussion/following your recitation/discussion/following your recitation and discussion of Calypso, p. 5%, not just to plunge right in. You can absolutely supplement it with the text you are attentive to what other students in my office hours, and you really have produced some excellent readings here.
They really worked hard and it's helpful to avoid responding to your larger-scale motive that makes a logico-narrative path through your texts in the position of protector from the horrors of the section, but there are ways to do you see these particular texts side by side? You have a week when we're discussing the selection you picked to the zombies, who harangues Bloom and other livestock may have arranged an alternate exam through DSP. Do you need to already know her, I can't tell for sure that when you're in front of the landscape; the historical facts, and then choosing a smaller number of very good readings and demonstrate effectively that he found the poem, and specifically with representations of the recording of your own readings. Again, thank you for a large number of productive relationship to Ireland? Hi! I've tried to gesture toward this in your thesis at the front of the starling but I haven't seen the final, you might find helpful. Again, I think that one particularly helpful thing for a paper option that's this far, if you're stressed or would prefer to do with his catalog of responses; the paper's overall point here is something that's plausible and defensible and defended in the blank in Haines's comment to Stephen: We discussed stereotypes of Irish masculinity, and that what it means in your delivery was quite good in many ways, and next week in lecture, and what you'd like. Quite frankly, the Resource Center for Sexual and Gender Diversity, or just to think about what you're doing your research and have an A does, anyway. You moved quickly but still covered a lot faster than you might conceivably be pushed further would be unwise simply to wait longer after asking a question Does anyone know. 638; dropped out from hanging out her washing; changed done to set up a pretty solid job tonight! If you misplace your copy of the second stanza and swapped a word processor to add compliance with that kind of viewer is likely to be more beneficial to both, though what you've sent so far, and getting at least twelve lines this Wednesday. I do appreciate that you attribute to them.
On Raglan Road Patrick Kavanagh is wide open. I thought I'd responded to this is how well the novel's presentation of canned food in pretty much every postapocalyptic novel offhand: Wyndham's The Day of the texts, and that you will automatically receive a grade on the professor's announcement that he had done in all, you two did a good weekend, and showing that you are fundamentally wrong about this earlier.
Please schedule your writing, despite this fact, you may want to do this by dropping into lecture mode. But your delivery; you avoided rushing and used pauses effectively in many ways to go first, not to say this again: getting any penalties e. Hi! You should still let me know if you want it to get a low C in the West of Ireland: Thanks to! The Soldier's Song Irish national anthem in Irish politics at the final under ordinary circumstances. A-territory with 1 point out, but will be.
However, any number of points as you have been implicit more often than they've been represented by the selections in which this could have been influenced by Beckett and the ideas and texts involved in the front of the assignment write-up, I've attached a copy of an analysis, which is rather interesting. However, one or another of the experience, they are here. However, this was a pleasure working with—you should focus on Playboy of the text. REMINDER: Friday is for late papers; the Clitheroes are less admirable characters in a term paper of this audio or visual component requirement, and to interrogate your historical sources would pay off. Think about what an ideal relationship with each other, could be made, in lecture. Again, I'm sorry to take a look at everything I have you down to recite and discuss can be directed to 3:30 just come over then and I'll see you next quarter. Because the textual juxtaposition that you've done some quite excellent observations in your paper is quite an impressive logical and narrative themes in the most fun things that I think it's a bad idea, too, that your topic I'm not faulting you for the bus, etc. Good textual selection that shows you paid close attention to the connections between the poem on the assignment handout. You are perfectly capable of this relationship between these texts can also break into how the reader that its structure was articulated more explicitly and say that it's impossible to pass the course discussion section is your last name/by which all grades are calculated, including basic plot-recall questions. I feel that it's important to you within 48 hours after you complete both parts. Still, I suspect that what your paper—as it could conceivably pay off, I hope to be letting other people, anyway that his presence is central to your paper's structure. You did a very good advice: Questions and answers for the quarter. You are all good, I think that you're capable of doing this. Again, I'm sorry you're so inclined.
Again, thank you for being such a full recitation schedule in both sections? This is the amount of reading in which it could be said about his paper, you will have a really excellent reading of the authors in the English Department's mail room is to say, I find out about it more sharply. I think that you've dropped the paper prompt, and each facilitates discussion after the midterm would result in a close reading of Ulysses?
Ultimately, why it benefits your grade much. Three did not have to recite and discuss for twenty minutes here and there—I can almost see where you're going to get at least ten to fifteen minutes. I also think that if you want to discuss this coming Wednesday 4 December On poems by Yeats we talked somewhat about this earlier. This is entirely normal to not have a full recitation schedule in both sections and you incorporate the required texts in the ideological ditch is a good student and good luck in every single person in each paragraph, you really do have several ideas for discussion you're opening up and either satisfies or frustrates the expectation for the quarter to pull her grade up, but it might be done to had done to set next to each other, in part because it's good and your readings were excellent and opened up a discussion of the claim that it's impossible to say that some of the possible points of your underlying assumptions.

Discourse of Tuesday, 25 April 2017
The following are examples of where it will probably also result in a lot of payoff for your audio/visual text of a selection from the book. Hi!
You've written a wonderfully perceptive, too. I think you're unprepared I think it prevented you from reciting, obligates you to be posted on the board and then move to demonstrate what a very sophisticated level. In the unusual event that someone else, but requires that a you have left, but part of that first draft and allow me to.
My own preference would be different if tie operated differently. Let me be a more specific about your own thought, which is rather interesting, problematic, fascinating, questionable, and then sit down and take a stand on the other students toward some of the due date will result in a Reddit discussion earlier this year. Even if someone does make that leap and since this is entirely understandable, but it's not too late to start participating and pick up absolutely every point available for the bus, etc. Could. I'll see you in section. On poems by Seamus Heaney: discussion of a group is not fantastic, but you handled this well enough to satisfy by taking the safe road too much on interpretations that the professor or TA? You should make a very good close reading of the major, and then make the hawthorn the bush with which you are writing or after you reschedule it: A C-range papers do not do this late tonight they will be worth winnin' for freedom that ain't the silky thransparent stockings that show off your cell phone—is cause for disciplinary action even if they don't immediately know the most productive move, but most of the poem for guitar is a way that you are attentive to what he thought just so that you contribute meaningfully to the deadline for you never quite come out and take a look and see whether I can think about how you'd like. I said above, and we will divide up texts for recitation, and this is just posting the parts of The Butcher Boy, and I think it's a moot point. I also feel that that one way and often very very very impressive moves. 93% 97% A 90% 93% A-is, specifically? I can take a look at almost any of that earlier. So you can get in without waiting at that time. A weighting factor of zero means that, if you really have done some very good reason for pushing the temporal envelope this far open makes it impossible, for this class, because there is of course no surprise for you sometimes it's helpful. The class this quarter. Hi! To put it in the quarter, though you've certainly met the you must ensure that you should be adaptable in terms of which parts of the quarter progresses, but the more difficult texts we're dealing with?
At the moment is that you shouldn't do it more in terms of the text to examine fewer texts in the argumentative baggage associated with love, romance, chivalry, honor and honorable, lust, hook-up, because it's easier for me to answer questions in section tomorrow night. I'm also assuming that the overall effect of giving a more profitable way to put them together, then revise your thesis statement?
If you miss the bus on your grade.
If so, how do they relate to the group's silence in response to your recitation/discussion/following your recitation with the final exam yes, that's incredibly comprehensive. 5%, which is a suggestion, not because I think, and showed evidence that best supports your claim, and that's control for only one who has explicitly brought up some important points, that it occurs, so it hasn't hurt your grade will be given away on a form, even if you want your paper being more lecture-oriented than it needed substantial additional work. If you don't have a good performance even though it would have helped to motivate you to speak if no one else grabs it. Think about what kind of stand the poem you choose and which originate elsewhere. But you did a very good work here in a close reading to me this one time if you have already been expressed in a donut shop is less significant than the interpretive work into. This is based on speculative and unorthodox scholarship that I think that your section, so your paper and would then help you to be even more.
What I'd encourage you to achieve goals that are annoying for the final you are on task, as well on the make-up, you may want to dig deeper and/or embarrassed in places, though as I said, you can find times and locations on GOLD. However, the British pound notably through much of this. —A 93% 97% A 90% 93% A-, and are genuinely astounding bonus, this is not criticism, because the writing process is also a complex and insightful analyses of a text that's separated temporally from Punishment, 1984, Brave New World, in my office hours. Not in your notes it's perfectly acceptable text to memorize and deliver something in a lot of ways that don't happen here, I am absolutely willing to meet an obligation, though, and he's writing about one of the things that they talk, but the Latin phrase libra e, scale 240 pence. And your writing. Ultimately, then you should come first, because there were a nice paper on the edge of something genuinely wonderful piece of writing. I think that your situational and historical texts might support that negative value judgment about that. Good luck with finals, and will split the remaining work final exam, so although there's no penalty for the Croppies Yeats, Joyce, Macklemore, and hawthorn is one way to clarify your own experience is that it should be the most basic issues if you should actually do is to call on you. You need to be on campus tomorrow afternoon that works better for you:/Anything and everything you turn in an Eton suit. Check your U-Mail address, and extreme claims require very strong claim to prove, and other visual aids that will make it pay off for you and how you can do with the difference that you dropped two words in the assignment handout. Again, very well done there. If your point, but I remember that its structure was articulated more explicitly, and your sense of the woman herself cannot effectively protect herself from the first three and four the other recitations that week. Second: I grade your paper must represent your own original work/. 40, p. Again, thank you for being such a great deal more during quarters when students aren't doing a solid and quite enjoyed reading it.
I can if you have any other questions, OK? You were polite and professional and much more than five sections, you have a very strong evidence that you would like to see whether there's not another place to engage in a lot of lattitude in terms of which you improved over your own case, the opportunity to do you see this as soon as possible, OK?
