Hi! I was wondering if y'all've ever encountered Twilight: The Missing Pieces? It's a fanfic version of the whole series (and then some) from Edward's perspective, picking up where the leaked Midnight Sun draft ended, & if you've not seen it y'all might find it interesting

I’ve never even heard of it! back in the day—I’m only talking 2008-2010 fandom—I didn’t read aaaaany edward x bella canon-compliant stuff. at all. even back then I was a through-and-through jasper x alice girlie. 💅🏼 it’s definitely interesting to see that someone wrote that much of edward’s “canon” pov as fic but… I’ve read my fair share of old, popular edbella fics and ngl. I’ve never been hooked by any edward pov stuff 🤷🏼‍♀️ but maybe I just haven’t read the “good” ones. I’m definitely not ever looking, that’s for sure. (no offense to all you edbella stans but i’ll never understand it 😔)—shannon

oh yeah I've heard of it! it sounds objectively interesting but (not to be That Bitch) I also don't read edbella 🤷🏼‍♀️. in the case of Missing Pieces and other projects like it, once I knew we were going to end up writing our own NM (and possibly Eclipse/BD) continuations (about halfway through last season), I made extra sure neither of us read anyone else's Ed POV continuations because I want to be certain we don't accidentally "steal" ideas from them! so if we end up writing anything similar to what's in there, it will be truly and honestly a coincidence —G
