For those who continue to call Edwina Sharma “annoying”

Look I’m sure most ppl who watch Bridgerton aren’t even aware that it’s based on a book series but nevertheless....all you pp who keep judging Edwina, calling her annoying- you’ve clearly never had your trust broken by someone who meant a lot and this goes to show. I know you guys feel that Kate gave up a lot and was “sacrificing” Anthony for her sis but no that’s not what happened really. Ofcourse Anthony is equally to blame for leading a girl on like that. But if Kate really “wanted the best for Edwina” and was remorseful she and Anthony never would’ve kissed after Edwina left the wedding. Kate would’ve left for India and the whole falling off a horse incident would’ve never occurred.

Kate is very much to blame for her sister’s unhappiness and hurt and in no way was she being “selfless” by telling Anthony to marry her sis, if they both smooched as soon as Edwina finished standing up for herself. 

How Edwina reacted was perfectly normal, too much kinder than what either Anthony or Kate deserved. Because that is the truth- both of them were being selfish and I hate how most Kanthony fans despise her. So yes you ppl have obviously never been hurt like that and good for you, no one should have to face something like that- having your trust broken by the person you trust and love and watching how they seem to not mind at all.

Hurts even more when you think about how blindly Edwina believed and loved Kate. It was really something of her to forgive Kate and wish her and Anthony happiness as we see in the last ep ball scene.

Charithra’s acting skills were on fire in the confrontation scene can’t believe Edwina isn’t getting the love and attention she deserves.

Hot Take from Bridgerton s2

Recently saw that Charithra Chandran received hate from fans who cropped her out of Bridgerton posters? Like why?

If anything, her character showed the most growth and maturity. From being a sheltered, goody, naive little girl she matured into a stronger, braver woman. Even if the situations that prompted her to do so were harsh, she still was the same sweet, kind person inside. 

The wedding confrontation scene was spot on. Was fully cheering Edwina as she stood up to Anthony, informing him rightly that she deserved better. It was great watching her let Kate know that whatever stunt both Kate and Anthony pulled hurt her deeply and she was not gonna put up with it.

I could go on about how Edwina is in fact, the best but I’ll end on a more controversial note......

Most probably no one will agree but I think Edwina and Anthony were cute together cuz would circumstances had been different, he would’ve totally adored her and she, him.

Still mad about how both Anthony and Kate and basically everyone treated Edwina so here’s this fic for anyone else who believes Edwina deserves better and ships Edwina and Anthony. I’m telling you they’re cute if you just give them a chance.

BTW based this off when the cast started reading The Viscount Who Loved me but the dream faces a twist of events for Anthony.
