Vigilante Jestro AU

To the 1 or 2 NEXO Knights fans that still exist, I present to you my contribution to the fandom; the Vigilante Jestro AU!

So, in this AU, Jestro still runs away from the crowd booing at him, but he doesn't fall to the manipulation of Monstrox. No, instead, he finds his way to an abandoned room of the blacked out Colosseum that had an odd device in it.

Naturally, curiosity gets the better of him. He begins to expect the device and, as is his luck, his hands slip, causing the device to fall out of his hands and onto the floor, causing the device to crack.

Out of this crack, multiple Wisps of varying color to emerge. Then, without any form of hesitation, they all lunged at him, causing Jestro to black out. He later wakes up in the infirmary, where he sees Clay and the other Knights watching over him with concerned expressions. Apparently, Jestro had been out for two days.

Now, you're probably wondering, if Jestro doesn't succumb to the manipulations of Monstrux, who ends up finding him? Well, this is where things diverge immensely. Instead of someone finding Monstrux and using him to summon monsters, he somehow manages to regain his physical form (which may have been inadvertently caused by that event with the Wisps). The rest of the events play out as canon.

Jestro steadily recovers over the course of a week, seeing the Knights fight off the forces of Monstrux. This was when some...odd changes began to happen to Jestro. Somehow, he had attained superhuman abilities. Each power had a relation to a different color.

The color Red granted him the ability to manipulate fire. If he tried hard enough, he could even become a being of fire himself.

The color Blue granted him the ability to control and weaponize water. If he focused, he too, could become water as well. He could also make the water boil and freeze at will. This also allowed him to control ice and snow.

The color Yellow granted him the ability to manipulate electricity. Much like his other abilities, he could become pure electricity if he was to focus enough.

The color Green granted him the ability to control both earth and nature. Like with his other powers, if he was to focus, he could become a being of earth and nature.

The color Purple granted him the power of elasticity. This power was one Jestro adapted the quickest to, as he was an innate ability to contort his body. This ability allowed Jestro to stretch and even shape-shift.

The color Pink granted him telekinetic and telepathic abilities. His abilities in this state are what you'd expect. But, he had the added bonus of being able to become a being of pure psychic energy if he was to focus enough.

The color Orange granted him the power to manipulate time. Speed it up, slow it down, move it forward, move it back, stop it completely in its tracks. He could do it all. But this power takes a lot out of Jestro.

The color Black granted him the ability to control and manipulate metal and other alloys. He could even become an invincible behemoth of pure steel if he was to focus.

As if things couldn't get any stranger, it turns out that those wisps were actually spirits of superhumans. In order of color, they were known as;

These beings could, if Jestro allowed it, possess the Jesters body and commune through him. Jestro's demeanor, posture, even his voice would change through this process.

The Wisps guided Jestro down a path of justice and heroism via vigilantism. In order to keep his identity a secret, he allowed the Wisps to possess him. In turn, the Wisps granted Jestro alternate outfits and appearances to hide his identity.

As you'd expect, the Knights, Robin, Ava and Merlok 2.0 eventually caught onto Jestro's streak of vigilantism. After a long conversation, the group allows Jestro to continue his heroic deeds, as long as he does so alongside the NEXO Knights. Naturally, Jestro agrees, happy to fight alongside those he admired.

While the Wisps were distrusting of the Knights to start with, they eventually grew used to them and even formed bonds with the gang. And, with Jestro by their side, the Knights were ready to face against Monstrux.

Not all people are capable. Really? Who says so? Front cover magazines? Principal actors? Newspapers? Times Square billboards? Or perhaps Victoria Secret? Each and every one of us is different and completely unique; that’s what is special about this world… diversity. Lets embrace that. Lets embrace our beautiful selves and stop imitating others, at the end of the journey the most valuable good you’ll ever possess is your beautiful body, mind and spirit. All the people you look up to so much have something in common. Yes, I’m talking about those worldwide brand figures that are about to get a statue built. Chiara Ferragni and Mark Zuckerberg for instance. Two perfect common human beings (at least that was their status some years ago). But they have something in common, and I’m not talking about their millions billions, or their Harvard case. I’m not even going to mention they both have nearly the same age. Both perfect common human beings believed in something original. They stood up for it. And oh how they fought for it. What do you believe in? What do you love? What makes you happy? What makes you unique? What makes you feel is worth fighting for? Well, whatever that is… just go for it. Do you like to sing? Sing every day and every night!!! Do you like to act??? Get up and attend all the auditions you can reach. Are you a start-up addict?? Take a chance and start something! But do it…. Just take a chance at it. There’s no need to be so hard on you.
