im so bored rn its time to make up another post-show au despite there only being a pilot. yippee!
imagining... the gang gets out of the circus into the real world, but this time instead of my shitty "everyone's stuck with their digital bodies, the ai somehow got out and it's absolute hell and chaos" scenario, they all have their human bodies back...with a catch though! The circus kind of fucked them all up to different degrees depending on how long they were in the program (Pomni is virtually untouched considering. Well she just got there. everyone else though has weird phantom sensations shitty eyesight etc) and this leads to them being kept in a hospital or some form of care for the time being. The abstracted? either have heavy amnesia or weren't able to make the transfer with the rest of the cast
cue real-world shenanigans as the main 6 tries to recover and readapt to their non-toyish bodies, Pomni tries to tie all the loose ends left by whoever the hell ran c&a + the vr program, and (if you like the "used to be human and founded c&a, got killed or at least was forcibly put in the program and lost all memory" Caine theory) Caine trying to learn how to be a living, breathing human being again whilst bedridden for a while. Maybe a bit of showtime sprinkled in there? Depends
tldr: don't let me write post-show aus from a singular episode

Do you have any advice on how to make a character look majestic/godly?
hwvdnab ah well;; im not exactly sure if you mean this literally or figuratively tbh lmao but I guess I can describe kinda how I do character design
I'm mostly self-taught so bare with me if my explanation is really bad lol, feel free to ask too if something doesn't make sense.
But pretty much when I'm designing a character, I take into account a few different things, such as their environment, time period, culture, and personality. These are probably the biggest four I pull from. Sometimes I give characters assigned colors or patterns, but usually if I do it's with a purpose, because while I love the aesthetic of color-assigned characters or a whole cast with the same color scheme (like, XTale? dream character design choices there tbh), I can never get it in a way that feels natural. But if you wanna use specific character colors to help design outfits and such, go right ahead!
"Majestic" and "godly" can be pretty relative based on what kind of culture you're working with. If it's something more Western-style, a larger character with imposing wings and a lot of white might be a better choice, while something more Eastern-style might be less extravagant in its body but more in its clothing and with a lot of gold. (Of course, this is very general, and when you really get into the detail of it, it really depends on where you're pulling inspiration from. Something German is probably gonna be really different from something Inuit, despite both living on the "Western" half of the world, and something Chinese is likely to be much different from something Russian, again despite being both on the "Eastern" half of the world. Even still there becomes more and more narrower cultures.)
"Majestic" and "godly" can also be different based on the time in which it takes place -- times like the European Middle Ages might see angels as more godly, but maybe in a more futuresc setting someone who has become more robotic or immortal through technology is seen as godly. There's probably a lot more examples, but that's really all I can think of right now tbh, haha.
It also depends a bit on how this character acts, too! If this character is a god of sorts but doesn't enjoy the role, maybe appearing as such or over-the-top doesn't appeal to them. Or, on the flip side, if the character adores being majestic, maybe they'll be adorned with as much things as they can possibly get their hands on so they can stand out and really show off how amazing they are. Or, of course, anywhere in between. Maybe they're casual or don't mind their godliness. Is there a "uniform" of sorts for this godly character, or are they even godly at all (do they just consider themself to be at a higher position above everyone else, but are in fact at the same level)?
The most broad topic is a character's environment, because that is wholly dependant on the work itself. Arguably, culture can be as well, if the culture is completely made up without outside influence, although this is rare since most people draw inspiration from something. Human brains in general are just really bad at coming up with entirely new ideas or images. (Fun fact, did you know you can never come up with an image of a face you've never seen before, even in your dreams? Any face you picture in your head is of someone you've seen before, and if it's someone you don't recognize, you probably just passed them on the street once or something. Anyway. Back to actual advice lmao.)
The environment of a work isn't necessarily the same as the setting, either. Two different works can both take place in South Africa, but one could have a happier tone while the other a more somber tone. If the tone of the story is happier or doesn't really divulge into any serious discussion, sometimes it's better to go with something more bright to fit that environment, while if something is more somber or dark, a desaturated color scheme might fit better.
Additionally, there's also what I personally love to use, and that's juxtaposition, which is a complete contrast between two close by or closely related things in a work. The number one example I can think of that is a clash between character design and environment is Doki Doki Literature Club, where all of the characters are very cute and happy looking, but the environment is dark and horrifying, which leaves the player with a very confused opinion of what is going on because of the mixed messages. Most works tend to not lean towards this because of the mixed messages it can leave or the misdirection is can have towards the consumer. But at the same time, it's an extremely powerful tool to use. I tend to have a lot of brightly colored things in darker-toned environments.
Another thing that I just thought of alongside juxtaposition is foils, which is similar to juxtaposition in a way, but rather it is directly related to two characters who are designed to be complete opposites to each other. A prime example: Sans and Papyrus! Literally everything about both of them is completely opposite, and their outfit and color choices are actually well-chosen to fit this as well. Blue and red are typically two colors that are considered "opposite" (although blue's true opposite color is orange, so when I draw UT!Pap I usually use a red-orange) and are typically used to represent "good" and "bad" as well. I could write an essay about their differences, but I'll spare you, since that wasn't the question lmao. But if you have a character who you're trying to contrast against this godly or majestic character, whether it be someone like a hero, a sibling, a demon, etc; using foils to contrast them with someone else in your cast list can be helpful too!
I wrote a lot but I hope it's not too much avdbsbs hope it helps!!!

New answers!!
From questions asked in the ask-the-incuwives channel in the Seduce Me Discord Server!
From abil:  if your husbands had to stay in the abyssal plains after the events of the war, how would you feel? would you be okay with it?
Noryn would pack up and move with him lmao she's not attached to places, more so people so; of course there has to be a lot of talking and planning together, but she's pretty down to continue making things work from the plains side. She wouldn't have to worry about being found by Angels and get obliterated, big plus. She'd miss her sigil witch brother and her friends in the human world though; but she'll easily think about video calls and gaming and visits. The big make or break would be whether she can get hooked up with high speed internet in the abyssal plains
wait i just realized... the abyssal plains doesn't have internet yet
noryn's not gonna like this one bit; neither would matthew
two gamers, in a dimension without games
((first order of business is to invent internet and get connected to human world, the first demon world hacker))
Bonus:
Midnight: Noryn starting up a tiktok channel for tiktoks in the Abyssal Plains that only the incubi and the wives see LOL
Midnight: no, she vlogs
Zio: hey demons its ya boi
More under the break!
From tkdigiboy: how would you react if one of the boy's ex-bf/gf or 'playmates'(sex for energy) came to visit or hang. would you let your husband do a one time fling for energy?
noryn's been friends with her exes, and their exes; so as long as things are chill, it's just like meeting anyone else from someone's social circle. it only gets weird if it's like... this person distracts matthew away from noryn a lot or otherwise gets in between her interactions with him
e_e they don't even have to be past lovers, anyone that does that will get on noryn's nerves and make her go on a jealous gifting spree, where in a fit of jealous frustration she buys a bunch of very thoughtful gifts for matthew to give to him later
regarding the one-time fling: emergency sure; but like, consent and all is one time and case specific
like if matthew is blowing up noryn's phone like "iM dY INNg OF SEX STarVaTION AND yOu'RE IN THE HUMAN WORLD" she'd be like ? ?? ? bE SAfe FIRST AND WE CAN TALK LATER
From Kantah: ooh what are the wives' hobbies? :0
Noryn hobbies: being an internet gremlin; tea brewing, drink mixing, bartending/barista; dabbling in potion making
From tkdigiboy: To noryn/zio: how well do you get along with simon and his wife?
pretty well!! though she thinks of simon and simone as mika's pets so whenever she visits mika she likes to try to befriend them and get matthew to play with him :>  simon's a lot less of a rascal when noryn can give him the attention he seeks
From Diva:  how long does it take Noryn to find out Divana’s favorite bubble tea since she cant magically know like usual [cause she’s a collective ton of different personalities]
Diva: Zio wait how long does it take for Noryn to figure out Divana's fav bubble tea after she god damn blue screens
Noryn: -sits there with window xp error noises going off in her brain-
Divana: I think this one died
Zio: poor baby; noryn would probably just blindfold herself and randomly mix ingredients and hope for the best. serving a chaos demon aint easy
Diva: Especially when Noryn Knows Alot of Things™️
From dari_baguls:  Idk if this is more for Zio or Noryn buuuut do you really have the cat stalkings Noryn wears in the game? I cried when I saw Noryn cause I also have the same stalkings and also (at the time) had short hair TvT just wanna know for research purposes
i do have them irl! Her outfit is based off of what i wore when the game was being made
She’d look like this in present day
Tumblr media
Gotta refresh noryn’s design cause it’s very undergrad student vs her now working bartending professional :9
From Diva:  Oh no Noryn and Divana in the same room fucking around with potions
Zio: POTIONS POTIONS POTIONS in carrie's kitchen no less
Diva: Many things went wrong that day
Diva: M a n y
Zio:
Noryn: "can i come over to make sum poshuns"
Carrie: "Of course,you dork"
Noryn: "Also Divana will help"
Carrie:
Diva:
Read at 3:45 pm
Zio:
Noryn: "henlo? carrie u ther"
From tkdigiboy: Question to zio and kary: how do you 2 handle your husbands when their doing their usual routine towards eachother
Karygurl: Start making bets, make popcorn :D
Zio: when sam and matthew bicker; noryn stands aside and lets them get through their system if it's between them specifically; otherwise she's a participant in the bickering LOL they're a lot like rascally friends, and noryn is also a shit starter
Zio: i headcanon that iri or twila like to occasionally stir the pot, like drop a small [controversial hot take] and watch the boys mcfreakin lose it
sam, matthew and noryn are all competitive casual gamers shit's going down there's no allegiances
From ☁bunny☁: jumpin in here: for all of the incuwives creators, especially zio n kary, how do you guys feel about people writing about ur ocs in their own stories? or drawing them? im writing my own interpretation of the story with my self insert and i love carrie and noryn dearly and would love to include them (and the other incuwives) but id only wanna do it if its cool with their creators first !
Karygurl: I mean please do!! I bookmark and save EVERYTHING that has even a tiny whiff of Carrie in it, I'm honored anyone would want to include her in anything ever
Zio: im flattered if your inspired to write in or draw my characters!! let me know if you want to collab too
Zio: do it do it; shout outs and cameos give me life
Karygurl: SAME Zio
Zio: plus if there's no story conflict, im down to adopt new dynamics/lore/etc from what people create
From Mari: What kind of things would you do to make your husband laugh?
To laugh? noryn would be an utter fool lmao and tell him an embarrassing story about herself (she's had a whopping 9 lives worth, there's no end to headass decisions and shenanigans when it comes to her); something like
Noryn: "Babe have you seen our dog"
Matthew, pouty but still hanging in there: "Huh? She's in the other room, right?"
Noryn: "Now watch this. Bijo, cuddle attack!!"
Distant pitpattering on the tile gets closer until Bijo, the apron wearing shibe, gets ready to jump with a soft woof
Bijo full-body slams into noryn
oh my god, noryn would do unintentional slapstick when trying to show matthew some new trick or skill
tkdigiboy to zio: pet peeve with matthew
probably him being a touch too open-minded and overly generous with his time to the point that he wears himself super super thin and tired. he's kind of that extreme of being too self-sacrificing?
Noryn reminds him that he doesn't owe everyone he comes in contact with that kind of life-changing attention and focus, especially if those people take advantage of his kindness.
Noryn is very much "i have limited time and energy in this one body, I focus on saving the one person I can" whereas Matthew is the "I want to brighten everyone's day, and give them what I didn't have or give them something only I can provide"
While they have similar tastes and interests, their perspectives help the other grow into a healthier, better person.

universe vs multiverse vs timelines
here we go.
i’ll try and get this as concise as possible from my original method of writing it, which was a panicked scribble as i tried to also take notes on finding the slope of tangent (and failed in favor of this)
so the universe in itself is infinite. there’s no need to conceptualize more than one if you don’t have to- and trust me, you don’t have to. BECAUSE the universe is infinite, there’s infinite iterations of everything, including the earth, and you, and everyone you know. i’m still set on universes existing primarily in cycles- that is, until it’s heat death occurs, and promptly sparks another big bang (possibly thru collision with another ‘verse a la brane theory.)
what prevents those who have developed FTL travel from meeting their own selves? especially if those selves have also developed FTL travel infinitely? everyone would be able to visit their alternate selves. UNLESS there’s an infinite number of yourselves preventing yourself from making contact from yourselves whose reality doesn’t involve such things- effectively keeping those versions of yourself in the dark. it doesn’t necessarily have to be YOU keeping yourselves away from you, it could also be some kind of organization among those who have the technology- like in hhgtg, if i remember right- i read them a long time ago- keeping those who don’t in the dark. there’s an infinite number of those organizations.
the question is, does that continue over into timelines, and what differentiates a timeline from an alternate same-universe self? the easiest way i can think to explain this bit is with examples.
wisely is from 6-2256. let’s assume that’s the iteration of his planet instead of his universe, as i previously thought. wisely’s from.. uhh.. some shitty dnd planet- maybe this’d be easier with riot.
riot comes from earth 3-3, though that number would probably be changed to account for this- FUCK THIS IS THE WAY MARVEL DID IT ISNT IT?
i got distracted. anyway, this all came up because of rick and morty so let’s just put things in those terms because i don’t have enough numbers or a good enough example to explain it any other way.
c137 rick didn’t swap with another earth’s rick from the same universe. he swapped places with another c137- because there’s an infinite number of timelines, too, so he found a timeline where they died soon after, and hopped over to it, LIKE MINECRAFT LUCA, who kept swapping instead of dying. or something.
the point is, infinity is a REALLY big number. there’s no real reason to ever move up to conceptualizing the multiverse when the universe in itself encompasses everything-- or does it?
this is where i started thinking about what distinguishes universes from each other, and i came to the conclusion that it’s universal constants. they don’t hold true across the multiverse- that’s when the very fundamental laws of physics begin to change. this is what that one guy meant when at the smaller levels things are WAY more complicated. as soon as you go up to multiverse level, you must already understand the scope of the infinite universe, or you aren’t really getting anything at all. the big difference between universes is in the universal constants. everything else can be chalked up to timelines.
that’s how their identification systems work, it’s by specific planet iteration, not dimension or timeline- i don’t know that it’s meant to hold up to this level of scrutiny and i think it’s referred to as being different dimensions in source, but... that doesn’t make much sense. they’re all in one universe. they’ve been in one universe the entire time.
this update fucks my cycle based id system too ,,fuck. i guess back to the drawing board on that one. or just swap over to numbers alone- or do it like the,.. fateverse did. blatant copying and pasting here because it’s obscure-
Subject Designation A subject designation is technically a specific chronometric wavelength signature, but the term is also used to refer to the person a subject designation identifies (the correct term for the person himself is “subject” or “subject designate”).  The Network does not expend resources to assign separate designations for every minute decision a subject could make; it will only assign a new designation if a branch point results in a significant divergence of timelines (so there could be, for example, several versions of a person, all sharing the same subject designation, who had different things for breakfast on a given morning).  A designation consists of the subject’s name (as entered by a Keeper, or as exists in legal documentation if the Keeper has not manually identified the subject), a bundle prefix (two letters for primary and secondary bundles, three for tertiary bundles, usually entered by the Keeper who first visits and maps the bundle), and a three-digit number.  Occasionally, this is appended by an iteration suffix.  Take Wade Wilson BT562-Omega:  Wade Wilson is the subject’s name, BT is his home timestream bundle, 562 is his specific designation, and the suffix omega identifies him as a Keeper.
source
this is an interesting concept, but i don’t think it entirely fits, seeing as everything’s in one universe, so identifiers are needed for multiple instances of the same planet within the same timestream. i plan on not fucking around with timestream bullshit at all because it gets super complicated super fast- every minute decision creates an alternate timeline, but most merge.
Timeline Compliance The quality of two or more timelines sharing such properties as population, subject catalog, geography, and major historical events.  If the similarity between timelines is less than forty percent, or there is an extreme difference such as ‘the Allies lost WWII,’ the timelines are considered to be “non-compliant.”  If the similarity between timelines is between forty-one percent and seventy-five percent, or there is a major difference such as ‘George W. Bush was never President,’ the timelines are considered to be “partly-compliant.”  If the similarity between timelines is greater than seventy-five percent, the timelines are considered to be “compliant.”  There is no such thing as “full compliance,” because timelines with greater than about ninety-five percent compliance always merge.  The paperwork short forms for these terms are “non-comp,” “par-comp,” and “comp.”
same source as above. just some interesting thoughts.
the letters seem to mostly exist to make it more palatable to our human brains, as existing completely in numbers might be hard- and expanding to letters (1-26 possibilities) gives you more options without resorting to another digit (1-9) so i mean, i guess it makes SENSE, but at that point why not go full letters? i think you’d definitely wanna keep your main iterations within 5 digits, so having a two-three letter-number system might work well, if you needed to keep track of a lot of them- but keep in mind, there’s an infinite number out there, and an infinite number of systems keeping track of them.
...that’s the point where you might just wanna shut up and think about something else.
