Do any of the HHLR character names translate into each of their native language as something in common? Nagar and Hashaan: Draconic, Torlin and Gimgar: Dwarven, etc

My last name means “song of the moon”.

My family has a history of implementing avain names (Jay/ Rook) per generation, as well as astral bodies/ projections (lunar/ lunera), my parents chalked it up to being a form of divination to help predict personality traits, the art was lost to us but the Avian/ celestial names stuck.

Music have syntax and descriptors, Brio like sound of Brio. So Brio...Brio.

Gimgar | Character Playlist

When we started working on High Hopes Low Rolls, we made playlists for all our characters. You can find them all on our Spotify. In this post originally for just for our Patrons, Amy talks about his choices for Gimgar and her playlist:

I wanted Gimgar’s playlist to be upbeat and kinda heavy to show her kick butt attitude. She causes a lot of trouble but doesn't mean to because she has so much energy. She can also be very frank with her words and I wanted to show that with her playlist.

Some of the songs are quite loud and chaotic just like her. With some of the songs I picked, I was thinking about very specific scenarios. Mostly of her being batshit crazy and dragging poor Nagar along with her. The song “runnin wild” makes me think of this.

She’s totally not aware of her behaviour so she will keep doing what she’s doing until someone stops her and has to explain to her why what she is doing is bad, but aside from this she’s good to have in a fight because she’s so darn hard to kill. She’s not afraid to fight anyone or anything, which can be as good as it is bad. Gimgar is very special to me because she is just a jumbled up mess. I see her as what I call the ‘scribble’ part of my brain; she is the loud, ugly, angry over-the-top parts of my personality. She's not sorry to be who she is. She accepts it. Shes not afraid to be loud, silly, gross or stupid. What you see is what you get. She’s not scared to make stupid mistakes or stand up to horrible people and tell them to shut the hell up. She would honestly die for her friends and family. Even though I describe her to be this fearless warrior shes really not! She's not afraid of hurting herself but she is afraid of her friends and family being harmed and that is what drives her. She's big and beaten up but she really doesnt give a shit.

This playlist is meant to reflect this as much as possible. Some of the songs might not make sense but they make me think of her.
