I have two different comics with Thingol in them that I drew two years apart (I think), and apparently I changed his design...kind of a lot......

To clarify, I don’t hate Thingol, of course, but I just...he’s kinda a hypocrite? And that’s good for jokes.

Transcription:

[Thingol:] “Consarned Ñoldor...all their family drama and overreactions...impossible to respect any elves like that.” ~five minutes later~ [Thingol:] “No Lúthien you can’t marry that gross human!  Now go to your room or I’ll lock you in a tree.”

[Thingol:] “I can’t believe it...my beautiful daughter, marrying so far below her league.” [Beleg:] “Eh, don’t feel so bad.  She just got that from her mother.” [Thingol:] “I’m sorry, what?” [Beleg:] “Wha--?  I didn’t...must have been the wind or something.  Gotta go marchward or something now, byyye!”
