Yesterday was a shit day for me, and even worse for boss lady and co-worker. Lily had her pups, triplets, but two of them are buried. I prepared them for the burial and co-worker buried them next to Jesus(hey-seuss) and Muffin. Since boss lady and co-worker are religious, I got to give them names in that theme. So, the two boys were lovingly named Cain and Abel. The third, however, is doing just fine. No name as of just yet.

There was more depressing information with the mama dog and the puppies, but I’m keeping that personal. The mama dog is fine though. Her name is Lily and she’s also adorable.

An almost five month pupper, Duke, started having bad problems on Wednesday. Yesterday, we found out he’ll need an expensive surgery to live and I’m going to attempt fundraising for him. I was on shift when the problems started happening and took him to the vet twice since co-worker wasn’t available and boss lady can’t drive.

He’s got a condition where a vein is encircling his liver and sending toxins back out into his body. There’s no surgeons local that could do it, so he’d have to go to Dallas.

I’m waiting to be updated on him then I’m scheduling a 24hr livestream and making his gofundme page(or something else). Probably horror themed one. Horror games genuinely make me wanna be sick, but it’s the best thing I can think of to help here. 

Duke has a twin sister, Duchess, and she spent most of yesterday whining around the house because she couldn’t find Duke. They’re super close puppers. At least I can provide proof of his illness and keep updates going. The surgery is 1,500, then there’s bloodwork and medicine so I’m aiming for 1,800 or as close as I can get. Duke and Duchess had a home coming up next month. I’m chipping in next week. Also looking into some organizations.

They are both precious multiple shades of brown and black puffballs that deserve a happy life. Duke didn’t have an easy birth and it was his mama that brought him back from the brink. Abby is the mama and she loves her babies.

I’m gonna be off and on today. I’ve got cleaning and drawing to do, as well recording but that’s later today.
