Saiko's name literally is Psycho. We can garner that she's just "crazy" without DID being brought up. At no point during the game does Akira or Shinji discover Saiko has DID, and at no point is it relevant to the story.
Habupain seems to believe that this disorder is just a media trope, a la Split and similar movies portraying people with DID as villains. It is only mentioned in the Steam profile descriptions etc. and not in the game.
Don't fucking let Habupain do that to us.

Well, here it is! Here's the post I was talking about on Amino! Here is the Saiko No Sutoka cosplay with Accurate!
I'm, like, 99% certain a went a little overboard on somethings but fuck it! I do know that's the perfect amount of blood cuz, well, Saiko No Sutoka :T
But, I do know for a fact I NEVER wanna draw this much blood again
I was actually a little worried I wasn't gonna make this version look as good as the one I drew in my sketchbook, but needless to say, I kinda surprised myself since this turned out fantastic! Let me know if I was able to scare some of you with this, that'll be such an accomplishment for me XD
But, I am sorry if I caused any nightmares 😅😅

Saiko really shouldn't have DID
Sorry, just personal thoughts, but I really don't think Saiko from Saiko no Sutoka should have dissociative identity disorder.
Saiko refers to her violent alter ego as "him". When she is not actively hurting Akira (her senpai) and his friend Shinji she insists that she would never harm her senpai.
In the yandere mode, Shinji and Saiko come across Akira stuffed inside of a locker. Saiko would tell Shinji to go to the infirmary to get help, which is filled with gas that knocks him out. Why would Saiko tell him to go there if he didn't have ulterior motives for that? If Shinji succeeds in dodging it, Saiko would hunt him down anyways and try to kill him. Even if he does escape, Saiko kills him by dropping a vase onto his head.
In the normal/hard mode with Akira, she switches back and forth between "him" and herself. She insists she doesn't want to harm Akira and tells him that in order to not meet "him" he has to not anger her. She gets angry when Akira leaves the office at the beginning of the game and hunts him down. To calm her down, Akira has to stay in her sights 24/7 otherwise she gets angry, and give her headpats when she becomes upset.
In the yangire mode specifically, it's clear that Saiko herself is possessed rather than having DID. (This is different from "Nightmare" mode.) She has a multiplied voice reminiscent of a demon and in order to prevent her going after Akira, you have to pick up pieces of paper that act like wards. Picking up one the text says, "You are protected for 5 seconds" as if she is a demon. (This is pretty common in Japanese horror where "wards" exists.)
Saiko already had a reason enough to "snap" and kill both Shinji and Akira out of anger. Her diary entries, which you can find throughout the normal/hard mode of the game, have drawings that specifically show that she's been in love with Akira and had always thought Shinji was an enemy in her way.
I feel as if calling her behavior in the description of the game as DID was just a way to "justify" her actions towards Akira/Shinji or to just put a label on the fact that her AI behavior has two modes. Her "normal" and "him" side are conflicting in interests, because if she actually didn't want to harm Akira she and "him" wouldn't. On top of this, it again stigmatizes and demonizes people who have DID.
I really love this game but it's stuff like this that pisses me off. Don't give Saiko DID; it just makes people think of bad things when a legitimately destroying mental disorder is brought up. Saiko doesn't have to be diagnosed, she's clearly already mentally disturbed and doesn't need a disorder like DID to "justify" the harm she does to these characters.
