You know I'm so bored that I'm going to talk about the first time I read wmmap.

You could say that I'm 'new' to the fandom because I just started reading the manhwa when it was ending, in fact, I literally started reading it because I saw a tiktok of Athy's coronation and I found it very nice and then I decided to start it in June.

(these images in particular caught my attention and it was with the Katy Perry song Unconditionally) i still have that tiktok i think.

But before starting I watched some videos on Tiktok to get an idea of what it was about. It wasn't my first manhwa, in fact it was the third (1st The remarried empress, 2nd Happily ever afterwards) but I wanted to have an idea of what it was about before starting.

And the idea I had was so wrong lmao

First of all, it never occurred to me that Claude was Athanasia's father, however, due to his type of attire, I believed that he was a God who had taken Athy as his pupil 😭

Then I saw a lot of videos of Athy with a silver-haired boy so I assumed he was the ML and since the comments kept talking about a certain Lucas I thought HE was LUCAS.

Yeah, I thought Ijekiel's name was actually Lucas.

Felix? Lily? Luke? Jennette?

I never saw them on tiktokt videos so I had no idea they existed and I was actually very surprised when they showed up.

Before starting the manhwa I told a friend what I was going to do and she told me that she had already started it years ago and there she told me that actually the ML was a boy with black hair and that his name was Lucas, no the other.

She also told me that 'God' was actually her father and that there were several people who shipped them and I was like... whatt???????

At that time I only knew webtoon but I was determined to start that manhwa so my friend told me about an app called tappytoon and that's where I went to read it.

And guys, I didn't want to believe those people who shipped the father and daughter but when I saw the banner I thought Diana was Athanasia and I was really freaked out.

I sent a message to my friend and everything and there she told me that that woman was not the daughter but the mother.

and there I calmed down.

When I started the manhwa I found out about Jennette's existence and that she WAS HER SISTER AND I DIDN'T KNOW ABOUT ANY SISTER.

And what ijekiel was actually the 2ML.

I was also very surprised by the novel 'lovely princess', as you saw before my first manhwa was The Remarried Empress which is not a regression manhwa and Happily Ever After is a regression manhwa but the protagonist is reincarnated when the story is already finished so you don't have to worry about the plot.

But in Lovely Princess Athanasia she did exist in the plot and had a horrible end, her father ignored her all her life, abandoned her, then they convicted her of something she never committed and they killed her and when it was discovered that it was false, no one cared. When I read that I was so angry I had to stop reading. Suddenly I didn't want a 'cute father-daughter story' anymore, I wanted revenge.

As I read, I fell in love with Athanasia. idk there were many reasons I really liked her personality, she was fun and cute, and she used her appearance to get more chocolate idk I just loved it so I could make a separate post about everything I liked about her.

As the story progressed I hated Claude several times but ngl i did enjoyed the cute moments between them. I'm still a little resentful honestly.

I could talk about my first thoughts as the characters appeared but that would be too long.

Anyway, I finished the manhwa just because of Athy, sometimes it got very interesting and other parts very boring. Also, when my friend told me that the manhwa was about family, I thought that we were going to see different types of families, I mean, other family situations of the characters, for example the family of Lily, Felix or Ijekiel, so when that didn't happen I I was a little disappointed.

I also know that many confused the name 'Athanasia' with 'euthanasia' but I personally confused it with 'Anastasia'.

Right, Jongho is actually good, but ngl I miss his early dancing days, now he needs to belt so he doesn't always go as hard or is just standing on the side, but I think many people don't see him as a good enough dancer which is a shame. Yeosang's footwork too, he's very precise something not many people notice as well!

On the topic of Creepypastas, I'm still astonished that they never gave me nightmares. Which is funny, because I used to have like, an average amount of nightmares per sleep, but during my Creepypasta Phase and also after it, I never had nightmares anymore 🤔

Kind of at least, sometimes I had dreams that are very obviously in some sorta horror setting but I never felt scared, a bit unnerved at most, but I usually felt more curious and a bit cautious. Heck, sometimes I get attacked in my dreams but I actually manage to counter the Attacker and come out victorious (Rip to that one Jason Voorhees whom I K.O'd by bonking him with a metal bat, u tried 😔🙏) ngl, I think the possibility of having nightmares terrified me more than my actual "nightmares" ever did, as strange as that sounds O_O

I think the closest thing to a creepypasta nightmare I've got was that one dream I had about The Rake.

Okay so picture this, the setting and atmosphere of the Slender game, in that dream me and my friends went camping there for some reason and we decided to split ways so we can explore the forest (like true horror media protagonists 😔) and I found like, an abandoned silo that was low on the ground with a ladder. So I decided that I wanna see what's inside it and climbed into the silo.

It was empty, I noticed that my flashlight was pretty weak, but before I could do anything else I heard the screams of my friends in the distance, I turned around of course and lo and behold, The Rake was standing right behind me, to be precise, he was blocking the way between me and the silo exit. So I was kinda panicking about how I should proceed obviously, if I did nothing he would probably maul me, but if I tried exiting he would probably maul me too. So we were just having a stand-off there for what felt like an eternity, before The Rake decided to leave out of its on accord for some reason.

I waited for a while after it left and then hurried back to camp to assess the damage. After I found the corpse of one friend, I immediately decided to GTFO of there and ran blindly into the forest to find some way out.

In the midst of running a police officer actually found me and told me that I had to leave (no shit Sherlock) because he apparently found the corpse of my other friend. He ended up taking me to his police car so we could get out.

Except, that wasn't the end, before we could start the car, The Rake's hand broke through the car ceiling and tried dragging the police officer out of the car by his neck. I ended up just moving over to the drivers seat and frantically smashed my foot onto the gas pedal. The sudden acceleration caused the police officer to be dragged out of the car completely, but at that point I was solely focused on my own survival so I didn't give a shit. I finally escaped.

It suddenly cut to a newspaper report about the dead police officer and the ~mysterious forest creature~ that could've caused his death.

I woke up not exactly scared, but just mildly confused and concerned about wtf I just dreamt and why was that ending so jarring- (insert Man Door Hand Hook Car Door reference lmao)

Anyways, have you had similar experiences with creepypastas and your own dreams?

The only 'creepypasta dream' I've had is with Chucky (Yes the serial killer doll, that one) I was like 6, and my mom let him in after he knocked on our front door. He asked us if we wanted to play AND EVERYONE THOUGH IT WAS FUN??!!?!?

I was so terribly scared and cried when I woke up lmao
