i do love the friendships that pick up where they left off, the ones where both parties grow and are able to reconnect. lately, i haven't had anybody to talk to and no one i feel close to anymore, no one to relate to, but then i reconnected with a friend who i had a pretty bad falling out with a few years ago. what made me forgive them? they owned up to what they did, explained to me why it was wrong, and proved that they were doing better. they listened to me as i owned up to my side and respectfully agreed, telling me about the stuff that had bothered them with me and i did the same. no one yelled or tossed accusations. we just talked. it was honestly a really wonderful experience to see someone i thought of as family for the longest time grow along with me despite us being separate and at odds with each other for so long. and to especially have closure for something that put so much weight on my shoulders for so long. and we spoke even more recently & officially have reconnected.
she had a baby recently and said i was her son's aunt too. i almost cried, not gonna lie. but i'm really happy it wound up this way.

A blurb where Daniel and Florence aren’t even together yet and someone sees them in public and says what a cute family they are with clementine and they don’t know how to react!
I love this so much omg thank you for it!! This definitely happens a few times to them for sure!
I made a little title strip for this one because I liked the vibes of this blurb too much to not make one and because I had my inspo pics too hehe

Sunday, April 28, 2019
It was a nice spring day, the weather warming than usual for the end of April which meant the annual cherry blossoms were in bloom earlier than expected. It was a Sunday and beautifully sunny so Daniel and Florence decided to head down to the park to see the pink trees. Clementine was tucked in her stroller in a little pink floral dress and white bloomers, topped with a little sun hat and booties. They walked slowly down the path, Daniel pushing the stroller carefully as the nearly four-month-old stared up wide eyed and open mouthed at the passing fluffy and colourful tree branches above her.
“What do you see?” Daniel cooed gently, leaning over to tuck her hat a bit farther down to keep the sun from her eyes.
“Pretty flowers, aren’t they?” Florence smiled at the baby.
Clementine babbled lightly, her wide eyes following each branch carefully as they passed tree by tree.
“Oh my goodness, she’s so cute.” Daniel breathed, grinning down at the baby he walked down the park path.
“Isn’t her dress the cutest thing you’ve ever seen?” Florence giggled, petting the ruffles around the waist of the small dress. “I found it on clearance.”
“It is.” Daniel agreed, smiling over at her.
Florence stepped closer to him and linked her arm in his, “How do you feel now that first year is done?”
“Really good.” Daniel admitted, keeping his eyes on the baby. “I’m glad I don’t have to go home this summer. I wouldn’t have been able to be away from you for five months.”
“Aw-”
“Would I?” Daniel cooed down to Clementine, tickling her tummy to get her to laugh.
“Ah, I see. You meant her.” Florence tisked.
“You too of course.” Daniel assured her, draping his arm around her shoulder as his other pushed the stroller.
“I just birth the cute babies for you to look at and then throw me aside.” Florence sighed dramatically.
“That is so not true.” Daniel laughed. “I love you just as much as I love darling Clementine.”
The baby babbled a little, reaching a small hand up out of the stroller as if she was trying to grab the cherry blossoms. Florence slipped around them and picked a small twig from the nearby tree to pass to her daughter to play with.
“Just make sure she doesn’t eat it.” Florence said as they continued walking.
They stayed in silence for a bit, Daniel and Florence taking turns pulling the baby’s hand away from her mouth so she wouldn’t eat the flowers, enough times that they were making themselves laugh with how determined she was to taste the blossom.
“It’s just to look at it, angel.” Daniel chuckled, stopping again to pry the flower from her tiny chubby hand, making her whine loudly and reach for it. “Look, look.” Daniel fastened it to her hat, the pink blossom matching her dress nicely. “There you go. A pretty flower for the little princess.”
Clementine kept her eyes on him, letting him slip the pacifier in her mouth as they started walking again, her big blue eyes staring him down and making note of his every move as Daniel and Florence chatted.
“What’s Matt doing for summer?” Daniel asked as politely as he could muster.
“He got a job at a bar by the train station.” Florence shrugged. “Gonna work full time.”
“That’s good.”
“Yeah. I’ll be lonely though.”
“I’ll be around. I’m only working part time at a restaurant so mostly evenings for a few hours I’ll be busy, but I can come around as much as you want me to.” Daniel said.
“You better.” Florence nudged him playfully.
They continued down the path towards the garden tea house, arm in arm, Daniel carefully pushing the stroller up to the host stand.
“For two?” the lady asked with a smile as she gathered the menus.
“Three.” Daniel replied coolly, smiling proudly down at the baby in the stroller.
“Of course.” the hostess chuckled politely and led them through the restaurant to a table by the window. She set the menus down and left them to order.
Florence went to pick up the baby but Daniel swooped right in first, unbuckling her and lifted her carefully against his chest, brushing down her dress a little.
“You’ve had her for the whole walk.” Florence protested.
“And you can go home with her to cuddle her as much as you want. I can’t.” Daniel protested matter-of-factly as he sat down in one of the metal chairs with the baby against his chest. He peppered little kisses to her chubby cheek as she peered around the busy restaurant, wide blue eyes taking in her surroundings with her hands gripping onto the front of his green button up shirt.
Clementine smacked her tiny hand against his chest and looked at his face, her pacifier bumping against her nose a little as she sucked on it. When he smiled at her, she smiled right back, cooing softly behind the pacifier in her mouth.
“Come here, you.” Florence leaned over to take it from her.
“Much better.” Daniel smiled at the baby as she smacked her little hands against his chest, his one arm around her under her bum and his other with his hand against her back to keep her secure, patting her back with his fingers. “Now we can hear all your nice words, hm?”
Clementine babbled loudly, sticking her little tongue out between her lips as she reached up to press a hand to his mouth.
“Really?” Daniel gasped lightly as if they were having a conversation, gently pulling her hand from his face to let her wrap her fingers around his one. “You don’t say.”
Florence watched them with a small calm smile, reaching out to take off the baby’s hat and brushed her hair down with a gentle hand. Daniel stuck out his tongue and Clementine shrieked with laughter, reaching for his face again.
“Oh, how cute.”
Florence and Daniel glanced over to the table beside theirs where an older couple were sitting with their afternoon tea. The lady was grinning at them.
“What a cute baby. How old is she?”
“Almost four months.” Florence answered excitedly, always proud to talk about her daughter.
“So sweet. You guys are the cutest family.” the woman said through a smile.
Daniel and Florence looked at each other quickly before back at the lady.
“Oh, we’re not-”
But the lady was already continuing, “It’s always nice to see a young couple looking so happy with their little ones. I know society can be so mean to young parents. I had my son at seventeen and it was hard but we stuck it out together.” She set her hand on her husband’s beside her against the table.
Clementine babbled loudly, sticking her fingers in her mouth and Daniel smiled to himself as he bounced the baby in his arms a little.
“Yeah. The stares don’t get easier.” Florence admitted lightly.
“As long as you’re happy and the baby is healthy, that’s all that matters. You two are doing a great job. She’s a lucky little lass.” the woman assured her.
“Thank you.” Florence pulled a small smile as the couple turned back to their tea.
Daniel and Florence glanced at each other in silence for a moment before breaking out in cheeky smiles and sharing quiet laughter.
“Oh my gosh, people probably always think we’re a family when we’re out.” Florence whispered lightly so they couldn’t be overheard.
“Probably.” Daniel chuckled casually, pretending he didn’t think that same thought every time they left her apartment building with the baby, pretending he didn’t purposely take to the stroller for the sole fact of looking like her father, pretending he didn’t wish it to be true.

Hey! I saw that one request of the chocobros' S/O turns into a child and i it got me wondering if you know any HC or something between the line but of the chocobros turning into childs
I have been looking forward to this one! Like OMG, this is going to be so much fun. Makes me wish I could draw, so you could see what my mind sees for the boys as babu’s.
I shouldn’t have had as much fun as I did with the Noctis and Ignis ones.
~~~~~
“Y/N!”
You gasped, turning as you saw the smoke rush past you, then cover the being behind. You glanced down expecting to see yourself as a toad, or covered in slime, yet you were perfectly fine. It didn’t work on you, did the affiliation not work on females? Lucky you!
“Is he okay?”
You gave a groan, before slowly turning around, eyes widen at your boyfriend. Well your cute little pint sized boyfriend…
You heard yourself mutter, “Shiva have mercy on me.”
~~~~~
Noctis
“Noctis, Noct, wake up sweetie.” You cooed, shaking the tiny Prince asleep besides you in one of your crop tops, curled to your chest, who you could only guess was maybe 4 at the very most. He had slept all night, but every book you had pulled out told you that you had another 32 hours of your boyfriend being stuck ‘chibi-fied’ as Prompto stated.
Those beautiful blue eyes popped open, as the little Prince looked to you laying beside him in the grand hotel bed. Only to squeeze close as he pushed the blankets over his head, letting out a whine. “No.”
“Come on baby.” You called, managing to pull him up the bed, actually rather easy considering when he went limp now, it was just like picking up your suitcase. “Let’s get you washed up.”
“Still a lump in the morning.” Prompto chuckled from the other side of the bed, attempting to get his hair into the typical ‘Chocobo’ style.
“Basically.” You giggled. Lucky for you, your Noctis was rather easy going, and mostly slept while you got him ready. “So squeaky clean, kisses.”
This always seemed to get Noctis perky as he bounced up placing his hands on your cheeks, as he pressed a kiss to your lips.
“Thank you, my Prince.” You’d coo.
“It appears we only have this for him to get dressed in.” Ignis replied,  handing you Noctis’s typical attire from yesterday, now tiny enough to fit your Prince.
“You guys mind watching him so that I can take a shower?”
“No problem,” Gladiolus chuckled, petting Noctis hair, only to be swatted away. “I’m sure that he’ll get into less trouble now.”
King Regis had often told you that Noctis was rather low maintenance as a child as all he did was sleep, and turn down vegetables. So you figured, that Ignis would get a small breakfast into the Prince and Noctis would be out until your shower was over if not later.
You hardly got a foot in the tub before you heard it, loud screaming! Loud panicked screaming, and  most of it sounded like it was coming from the three adults in the room. Wrapping yourself in a towel you peeked your head out, only to stare in confusion at your friends chasing a warping Noctis around the room.
“Noctis!” You called above the screaming, only to instantly regret it as you had a child suddenly warping at you. You quickly tossed open the door so he wouldn’t hit it, only to have a face full of child Noctis, with enough force to send you off your feet and slamming into the tile floor of the bathroom.
“Holy, Y/N are you okay?” Prompto asked running into the bathroom, kneeling beside you and Noctis.
Once the dizziness stopped, you stared to Noctis sitting on you seeing the blue eyes filled with tears, “I’m good Prompto. Noctis what’s wrong?”
“You left.”
So you were stuck taking a quick shower, with a little Noctis sitting on the closed toilet, muttering about his life.
Realizing that it wasn’t wise to try and hunt with a pipsqueak Prince, the five of you decided to just hang around the seaside town. It was a nice little vacation of sorts.
“Spek!” Noctis called from his perch on Gladiolus’s shoulders, holding onto the long hair of Glaidolus’s mohawk as the reins to his noble steed, looking to his advisor.
“Yes, Noct?”
“Hunwry.” He muttered.
Ignis checked his phone, “It is about time for dinner, I’m certain we can find a decent restaurant around that will allow children.”
“Right this place is mostly for couples.” Prompto sighed.
“Y/n!” Noctis called, holding out his hand.
You giggled softly, holding your hand up to your sweetheart, “Yes, sweetie.”
So your group luckily found a place for lunch, Noctis sitting between Ignis and yourself, absolutely determined to make the fish and the sun on his paper the blue-est it could ever be, with the crayons they had provided.
“He is the absolute cutest.” A woman cooed. “Such darling eyes.”
Noctis flinched, as he dropped crayon at the woman currently cooing at him, quickly seeking safety by reaching for you. As you quickly scooped in picking him up as he buried his face in your neck.
“Thank you, he’s very shy.” You giggled.
The woman did a once around the table, noticing that the Prince currently hiding away didn’t look anything like the men around the table, “He really is a cutie, your son is adorable.”
“Son? Oh no he’s not my…”
“I’m her boyfriend!” Noctis yelled, something he hated even as an adult.
The woman only giggled, waving to the Prince, to her table of five children.
You managed to get Noctis back into his chair, prior to your food arriving but he was a serious grump the entire time. Chubby little arms folded, and glaring angrily, only to quickly throw a tantrum as Ignis tried getting him to eat some of his corn.
“Noct.”
Gladiolus chuckled across the table, next to Prompto who was snapping away, “Little brat hasn’t changed much, takes naps, has us carry him around, cries all the time, and still hates his vegetables.”
“No!” Noctis yelled, grabbing the spoon from Ignis’s hand and chucking it at his shield’s head. Even as a kid his aim was perfection!
Ignis sighed, looking over to you, “Would you mind?”
You gave a slight cringe, that was the one thing you couldn’t get Noctis to do, no matter what age. No kisses, or snuggles, or loving as an adult would allow you to get a veggie beyond those lips, and the slim chance you did convince him, typically resulted in you doing something extremely ridiculous, such as 5 hour fishing trip, you still couldn’t get the smell of lake out of your pants.
“Noctis’s sweetie.” You cooed, as those blue eyes turned to you, casting silent judgement. “Noct, if you eat half your veggies, you can have half of my dessert.”
Noctis pointed a finger to Gladiolus, “His too.”
“You little.”
“Gladdy.” You begged, as the shield sighed agreeing, “Now open for me sweetie.”
The rest of dinner luckily went without incident, as you allowed your Prince to walk you along the sand, pointing out to the sea dollars, and some of the small fish that got close to the shore. Only to watch as he moved back up shore away from the water, removing his over jacket, sitting it on the sand, before moving over to you, leading you back to his jacket having you sit down.
“Thank you.” You smiled, as he curled up besides you as you ran your fingers through his hair. This was  familiar thing you both did at the Citadel as well, watching the sunset and the stars start to appear.  You had unfortunately lost track of time, when you heard the others approach you.
“Y/N, we should get going.” Ignis replied, looking down to Noctis fast asleep on your lap, your jacket covering you both.
“Oh…ok. Noct sweetie.” You called, giving him a light shake.
“I got him.” Prompto smiled, picking up his sleeping best friend, only to have him struggle for a little bit. “Easy bud.” At that the small Prince stopped squirming at hearing his friend, as Ignis helped you stand, before gathering and your and Noctis’s sandy jackets.
“Here Prompt.” You smiled, as he handed over Noctis, the Prince cooing as you pressed a kiss to his cheek, nuzzling into you. Only to turn at your fellow travel buddies, seeing them all smiling brightly. “What?”
“You’ll make a wonderful, Queen.”
~~~~~
Prompto
“Arms up Pom-Kin.” You called, as those little adorable hands rose above his head. You had recalled Prompto telling you that in his youth he was more hefty than most children, yet right now he didn’t appear too big, perhaps it was more noticeable in his late adolescence, at the moment he just seemed to have baby fat. Yet the one thing that got you was those chubby little freckled cheeks, that you couldn’t stop pressing kissing to.
Those bright blue eyes looked up to you inside of Wiz’s trailer that he allowed you all to crash in. Lucky the spell had taken place not too far from the Chocobo roost, so you had somewhere safe to wait until the spell wore off and lucky Wiz had a few children clothes in his lost and found.
How a child lost overralls and shirt, was mystery to you.
“Coco-bae.” Prompto smiled, lifting his arms, which you immediately scooped in picking him up, pressing a raspberry against his cheek as he giggled loudly.
Prompto had confided in you multiple times, that as a child he wasn’t really given a childhood. He recalled his adoptive parents were there, but even then they were distance, and he recalled babysitters and Nannies until he was old enough to fend for himself.
“Ready?” You smiled, setting him down holding out your hand to the small version of your boyfriend, only to notice that he was hiding the back of his wrist. “What’s wrong Pom-Kin?”
“Bad.”
You blinked, before realizing what he meant, Prompto often hide this wrist with guards and bracers. “I got just the thing.” You smiled, digging around in your purse, finding a large chocobo covered band-aid and Gladiolus mocked you when you bought them.
“No look, bad.” Prompto muttered, tears gathering in his large blue eyes.
“I won’t look,” You replied, closing your eyes, “Tell me, if I have it right.”
“There.” Prompto cooed, as you placed the bandage over his ‘Bad’, even you did not know what was underneath it.
“See, no one will see it.” You replied, as Prompto moved forward, wrapping both his arms around your neck, in a tight hug.
“Love you.”
“Aww, Pom-Kin, I love you too.” You smiled returning the hug, before standing, holding the blonde tightly to your chest. “Wanna go see the Chocobos?”
Those blue eyes, and that bright smile, seemed that even as a kid Prompto absolutely adored Chocobos. The second you stepped outside, you almost regretted not giving Prompto a cap, as an adult his pale skin would often turn lobster red, maybe they had some sunscreen or a hat at the gift shop.
“Noc!” Prompto called, as your eyes followed the direction that he was pointing to, only to see Noctis chatting with Ignis and Gladiolus. It appeared that the spell didn’t alter his memories, simply his age.
“We were starting to worry.” Ignis chuckled fondly, as Gladiolus pinched at Prompto’s cheeks as the blonde pouted.
“Yeah, I have no idea how Prompto get his hair styled.” You admitted with a shrug, as Prompto swatted at Gladiolus angrily, to tousling the hairstyle as close to what you could get it. “He did not want to leave until we got it right. So what are you guys up to?”
“Gladiolus and myself are going to assist around the Roost, we figured it was even trade for allowing us to rest here until Prompto is back to normal.” Ignis replied.
“I don’t know Iggy, I think I prefer this one.” Gladiolus chuckled.
“Stop.” Prompto groaned, burying his face within the nap of your neck.
“What are you two going to do?” Noctis asked.
“Cocobos!” Prompto beamed. “Ba, let’s go.”
In all honesty you could have stayed here and watch Prompto interact with the Chocobo’s all day. The cute smile, and little waddle to his step, as he interacted with the large birds that often made him, even as an adult, almost cry tears of joy. You kept an eye on the small blonde, you didn’t want to smother him by constantly standing over him, yet still close enough that if one of the birds accidentally became too aggressive you could stop it.
“…Chocobo all day.”  Prompto hummed, reaching to pet the black bird, who was laying down on her little nest. “Noct.”
“Yep, she looks just like Noctis.” You giggled, noticing the blue eyes and black feathers. Only to gasp as the bird moved too quickly, knocking Prompto over. “Pom-kin.”
Large tears filled those blue eyes, poor thing, even adult Prompto was bound to tears easily. Yet before you could even get close enough, the Chocobo was inspecting the little softly weeping blonde, nuzzling her head against the other, which quickly turned those tears into giggles. Prompto’s small hands gently wrapped around the bird neck, as she maneuvered him to stand.
“You made a really good friend didn’t you.” You smiled, stepping over to Prompto, as you knelt petting the Chocobo’s chin.
“Kweh.”
Both you and Prompto turned, as the bird motioned you both closer, lifting her wings and adjusting showing an egg.
“She’s going to be a mommy.” Prompto cheered.
Only for the two of you to gasp as the egg rocked, before it cracked. You slightly panicked, shouldn’t someone be over here to assist with this! You weren’t qualified, you were hardly qualified to watch your boyfriend! You needed an adult, other than yourself, where was Ignis! spinning around you tried to find someone, only to notice the others moving over towards you two, as you waved them down.
“What’s wrong, you look like you’ve seen a ghost.” Gladiolus chuckled.
“Do we need someone for this? A baby is about to hatch.” You replied.
“Y/N, look!” Prompto called, as you heard a loud crack, only to turn as you noticed a black blob roll out the white egg. “Cool!”
You suppressed an ew, at Prompto’s excitement, turning to the others hoping to not feel alone in this only to notice them staring at it in wonder as well. It must have been a boy thing. You stood there for what seemed like hours, before you finally managed to pull Prompto away for food, with promise of returning.
All dinner, the blonde gushed about the birds, honestly happy that he had met a friend, even so young he was so talkative. He had even convinced you to get some feed for the Mama bird because
“Y/N, Mama can’t go get food because you has to watch the baby. We should make it easy for her.” He argued.
Cruse those adorable huge eyes!
So most of your evening was spent with you and Prompto sitting before Mama bird, and her less gross looking baby, it was now more chubby and little black spots of black feathers were starting to appear. If it was up to Prompto you both would have spent all night out here, yet eventually the blonde had begun to doze off.
“Come on Prompto, let’s go to bed.”
“Wait!” Prompto called, moving over to the gate, as Mama and Baby moved over, the small blonde reaching out petting the two. “Night night, Mama, Night Night baby.”
You smiled, holding out your hand, as his small hand immediately went in it. Only to notice the dragging feet, as you smiled stopping, kneeling before the blonde. “Hop on Pom-kin.”
Tiny arms wrapped around your shoulders, as you stood, moving a hand underneath the blonde’s bottom with a soft jump. It might have taken you a little longer to get back to the trailer, yet it was something that you truly cherished.
~~~~~
Gladiolus
“Don’t you dare!” You hissed, yet before the words left your lips, he dared.
You watched in absolute horror as your four year old, spell changed boyfriend, cannonball into mud, he was absolutely covered in the gunk.
“Gladiolus!” You barked, taking off your boots, happy you wore old gym shorts today as you trudged into the knee high mud. “I am going to destroy you!”
“Gotta catch me first!” Gladiolus cackled.
You always knew that you boyfriend was a nature lover, and Clarus had stated that even as a kid he would have to bribe his son to return indoors when he was younger. Typically after hosing him off with the garden hose, because he would get just flithy. Hell, most of the adorable kiddie picture the elder Amicitia showed you, was of the young shield shirtless and with a layer of dirt covering him. The only one where he didn’t seemed to be covered in dirt was the single one of him taking a picture with Clarus, but a picture right after showed Clarus chasing a young Gladiolus with the young man’s dress shirt, Gladiolus laughing, Clarus yelling.
So now you were wading, welling maybe waddling was a better term, or cringing through the mud trying to get ahold of your boyfriend. Trying to ignore anything that you felt touch your legs and squish between your toes, praying and hoping that there wasn’t anything in here. You looked up to see just how far you had to go in order to get your boyfriend, only to stare in shock!
Was he swimming in mud!
“Gladiolus!” You growled, trudging after him, only to gasp as your foot sunk into a hole, all the way up to your hip. Meaning now your entire toros aside from your shoulders up was covered in mud, and the only thing that made could make it worse was the sound of a child’s laughter. “Gladiolus!”
“Ha, you need help.” Gladiolus laughed, performing his breast stroke over to you. Not prepared for you to suddenly leap on him.
Granted now it was much easier to haul the guy around, as he was half your size, so you pulled him kicking and screaming by the back of his shirt, which was now more mud than shirt. Trudging back to your campsite to get clean clothes.
“Ignis!” You called, apparently yelling was your only volume today. Yet it also could have been because you currently had a petite Gladiolus in a loose headlock, to avoid him from climbing a tree or trying to roll in the firepit.
“You’re back, Astrals! What happened?” Ignis inquired looking to the two of you absolutely covered in mud.
“Gladiolus.” You grunted, tightening your hold slightly at the squirming kid. “Is there a river or lake nearby, I’m going to hose him off.” You stated, at the struggling kid in your grip, apparently this was all a game to him as he was laughing.
“Yes, I believe Noct and Prompto just went there to fish for tonight’s supper.” Ignis replied, pointing towards the east. “Would you like me to bring a change of clothes, and a bag for your ruined clothes?”
“Please.” You groaned rather curtly, as you begun to waddle your way to the lake where Noctis and Prompto were currently fishing. Hopefully it wasn’t going to be a long walk, as the mud was starting to dry, and Gladiolus was going dead weight.
What should have taken possibly five minutes for a normal hike between you and Gladiolus ended up taking almost twenty minutes, due to Gladiolus managing to slip from your grip and you having to tackle a four year old who thought this was all fun and games.
“Gladdy Baby.” You grunted, dragging your leg, as he now decided he needed to hitch a ride from you by latching to your leg. “Can you swim?”
“Yeah, why?”
“No reason.” You muttered, you figured he could swim, as he was swimming in mud nearly thirty minutes ago. Yet you were going to get some revenge on the little shit!
The lake came in view, and you saw Noctis fishing away with his ever present dazed fishing face on, while Prompto was snapping away pictures of little water creatures that were visiting land. It was all so peaceful, and serene and beautiful.
That was until your voice called from further down the lake.
“I’m sorry, Noct!”
Both the Prince and Photographer, turned just in time to see you reach down pulling the small shield from your leg, and tossing him in the lake creating a rather large splash.
Gladiolus resurface, “Do it again! Do it again!”
“You little!” You quickly jumped into the lake going after the young boy. “This isn’t suppose to be fun!”
This left the two men on the shore staring in shock at the young cursed Shield and his non-cursed girlfriend chasing him around the lake. Only to watch as you easily caught Gladiolus and began to furiously scrub his hair and arms, removing the dirt covering the two of you. Noctis was in such shock, he honestly wasn’t even upset that you had ruined his fishing. Typically you and Gladiolus were two peas in a pod, yet to see you now was actually really funny.
Unfortunately by the time that the two of you were deemed clean, and Ignis had brought a change of clothes, night had begun to fall, and poor Noctis wasn’t able to catch any fish for dinner, yet almost everyone seemed to have a nice swim. So it was emergency noodle cups for the evening.
Gladiolus sneezed as he sat before the fire, wearing one of his tank tops that you had tyed up for him. Only to look up as he saw a noodle cup before his face, looking up to see you.
“Stand up Gladdy.” You smiled, as the small one clamoured from his chair. Only for you to sit down, handing him both your noodle cups before pulling him into your lap. “Well today was fun.”
“You’re not mad?”
You thought for a moment, in all honest you weren’t really mad, exhausted was more like it. You just never expected for your Gladiolus to be this rambunctious or high energy. Yet then again he didn’t exactly mellow out as an adult, just more focused on his energy and how he expressed it.
“Nah, I had fun.” You smiled, taking your noodle cup.
So the two of you sat by the fire, trying to get a little warm, as it was nearly impossible to get all the mud from your hair, and there were no blow dryers in nature, so kinky and frizzy was the style for now. You knew for a fact you wouldn’t feel one hundred percent clean until you got a shower at a motel, yet for the moment sitting here at the fireside was actually rather pleasant. In all honesty, you couldn’t wait to do this with your future kids. Hopefully then you wouldn’t be as exhausted as you were, as your, hopefully, by then husband, would be on your side.
Who were you kidding, you’d be chasing Gladiolus and your kids around all of nature. Yet that also seemed enjoyable in a strange way.
“Y/n, you’re dozing off, maybe you should turn in.” Ignis suggested.
You yawned, arms wrapped tightly around a dozing Gladiolus against your shoulder, “Yeah, come on Gladdy.”
Gladiolus muttered, as he climbed from your lap, standing before you rubbing his eyes, looking absolutely adorable. You moved to stand only to find that your leg was asleep, moving through the pins and needles you stood. Only to gasp as you felt something tug at the bottom of your shirt, looking down to see Gladiolus, let out the most adorable yawn holding onto your shirt.
“Sleepy, Baby?” You cooed, taking his hand.
“Mmhm.” Gladiolus muttered, his other hand going to wrap around your thigh, as he followed you to the tent.
You hardly laid down, before you felt Gladiolus crawl into your arms, already out like a light. You giggled softly, pressing a kiss to his forehead, “Night Gladdy.”
~~~~~
Ignis
You had to admit this morning was off, yet you also knew it was because you were up alone a little after dawn. Drinking your morning tea without your typical morning partner. Normally the only time you two wouldn’t enjoy your morning drinks, Ignis’s Ebony coffee and your Ebony tea was due to weather not permitting, should you be camping, or one of you taken ill, or one of you being afflicted by a curse that render the other unable.
Unfortunately it was the later, as you beloved was still curled in his sleeping bag, fast asleep. The body of a child apparently used up energy much faster and you absolutely forbid him for drinking any Ebony while in that form. No matter how much those cute little green eyes beyond those adorable little glasses looked up to you! You had grown immune to Noctis’s and Prompto’s, how hard would it be for  Ignis?
Rather difficult!
“Y/N.” Ignis muttered crawling from the tent.
“Iggy, it’s 7 am, what are you doing up?” You asked, seeing that he had gotten himself dressed, yet had misaligned a few buttons to their holes.
“Not sleepy.” He yawned, as you knelt fixing his shirt.
“Well, would you like to join me to go get breakfast?”
Granted you would have much prefered to get into a room, rather than have night in the wild, yet that demon seemed to wait until dusk to strike while on a hunt and you were worried about driving at night, even twenty minutes away with a child Ignis, and yourself and Noctis as the main drivers.
“Y/N.” You heard Gladiolus called, as you turned from this morning’s late breakfast, well maybe brunch was a better word, holding Ignis to your hip.
Your small boyfriend, was rather upset that he couldn’t assist you with the late breakfast, as you didn’t feel comfortable handing him a knife, and he also couldn’t see the table, without you holding him.
“Yes, Gladio?” You inquired, handing an apple slice to Ignis, who deemed it worthy, by nibbling on it. “Fruit salad with breakfast, Iggy Dear?”
“Yes, love.” Ignis smiled, his little voice so pitched it made you want to squeal.
“Y/N, did you put Ignis is a Tonberry onsies?” Noctis asked.
You froze, you never saw yourself as the type to enjoy children, but your little Ignis with his cute little spiked hair, and those adorable glasses. Lucky when he shrunk his clothes did as well, so you got to see an adorable little suited Ignis, such a precious little baby. “What, I mean, I did, but he was so stuffy in his suit.”
In all honesty he wasn’t, you saw it in town when you went to go get ingredients for breakfast, and when you asked Ignis beside you holding tightly to your hand, if he’d like something more comfortable, he point to the Tonberry outfit you were staring at.
“I think he looks cute.” Prompto replied, snapping away at the two making food.
“I couldn’t agree more.” You smiled, nuzzling Ignis, your adult Ignis hardly ever let you baby him, but this one was all for it. Allowing you to press light pink kisses against his cheeks, and fix his hair, no matter how much you wanted to lower his bangs, but they got in the poor dear’s eyes and he seemed to beam when you told him how handsome he looked.
Gladiolus moved to sit at the table, as the food was nearly finished, “Think we should find a hotel for the night? Not a good idea crashing out here without one of our heavy hitters.”
You thought for a moment, handing Ignis over to Noctis, who looked absolutely horrified to be holding the child size version of his advisor, as you handed out plates. “It would be best, the nearest motel is a few hours away, if we leave after we eat we should get there about sometime this afternoon. Do you mind Noctis?”
“Shouldn’t be a problem.” Noctis muttered, quickly handing you back Ignis, as you sat down.
You allowed your pint sized boyfriend to pick off your plate, preferring he ate, as you were told by the shaman that this spell would pass within the next 24-48 hours, so Ignis needed his strength. Nearly 45 minutes later the five of you climbed into the car, Noctis taking driver, while you sat behind him, Ignis between Gladiolus and yourself.
You had changed him from his onsies, only to place him within his black slacks, and purple dress shirt with the sleeves rolled up. A coo leaving your lips, at how adorable and grown up he looked, was Ignis never adorable or handsome!  You were torn from your thoughts as you felt a little hand rest on your thigh, something adult Ignis did when he dozed off near you.
“Love.” Ignis cooed, reaching up removed his glasses, handing him to you. Something else that big Ignis would do, so as not to lose them.
You couldn’t help the squeal, as you took the small frames, putting them within your bag at your feet in a spare case you had for him. Only to turn as you saw him holding out his hands to you, as you almost cried, scooping him up immediately, pulling him to your chest, allowing him to rest his head on your shoulder, and those adorable huge green eyes were closed.
“Love you.”  Ignis muttered against your shoulder, before dozing off.
“You doing okay?” Gladiolus asked, watching you staring ahead, holding Ignis tightly. Tears streaming from your eyes, as a huge smile was on your lips.
You nodded softly,“I’m just so happy.”
