hm. thoughts on mipha? maybe how she thought about the calamity + how she’d think of the other champions (if. you havent answered this already!)

ohoho well :) if you insist

haha as far as the calamity goes she has got. the Dread and she has got it bad. even though some of the other champions' outlook on defeating calamity ganon is optimistic (even gaffen thinks everything is going to be fine), mipha is really...not super confident in the whole thing. she keeps this to herself most of the time, and really thinks she's overthinking it most of the time, but she still has a looming sense of dread about the whole thing. she talks with vah ruta about it occasionally. daruk has told her that the best thing to do about it is to make plans for the future, so she has done a bit of that! they've talked about meeting up on death mountain once everything is over. she tries to keep herself busy with projects. she really likes weaving and crafting in general god I just imagined her weaving a little turtle somewhere on the zora armor throws up. her favorite animal is turtles.

she's afraid of dying and afraid of living and afraid of giving up but can't see herself winning. you know. the general looming horror of existence. embracing your death because you're lonely and the walls you've built around yourself are too terrible to bring down. idk.

she is terrified by the prospect of having to potentially lose her life fighting the calamity, well. she's always lived for other people and doesn't really take her own health or safety in mind much. really funny because she'll absolutely get on other people's cases for doing the same thing she does. if gaffen and her were closer they'd constantly piss each other off bc of this and i think its hilarious

ultimately the only thing that really stays in her mind as a reason to look forward to things is living for people she thinks can be genuine. she loves her little brother because she thinks he can show his feelings where she just. can't. because that would mean not being a fuckin doormat and she thinks she's morally obligated to be one for her people's sake lmao. this is part of the reason shes so obsessed with gaffen because she thought he was a genuine person when he was little and now he's not so she's like. maybe we could learn how to be real people together. or maybe just with ourselves. its more of a subconscious thing she doesnt actively think this but shes such an i can fix him girl. stop

sorry for going on a tangent about mipha I dont even generally like quiet passive characters whose canon personality boils down to love interest I just decided she was a people pleaser and everyone around turned her into a saint when she wasnt and she was never truly known um throws myself into a pit of flames. heaven forbid i read too much into implications. i love women!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

now where was I. oh yeah the champions.

i've already partially explained her relationship with revali long story short she doesn't like him. example of a guy who needs to shut up Immediately. which isnt to say she wouldnt like to get along with him he seems like a person who has good qualities she just wishes he would shut up, so she gets passive aggressive around him

daruk!! ok they actually do really like each other because how could you not like daruk cmon. he's seen through her polite facade a few times and seen how scared she is so he's tried to help her out a bit and she appreciates it a lot :] (yea I know gaffen and mipha both like him its that magnetic extrovert guy charm and I really like introvert-extrovert dynamics)

daruk and urbosa are actually good friends lmao so daruk has passed some of what he knows onto her. so yea mipha also likes her. appreciates her advice quite a bit they train together sometimes!! shes really interested in gerudo jewelry as well she has a few pieces urbosa has given her as a gift and she's given urbosa some zora pieces

The Big Five (Bran, Arya, Jon, Dany, Tyrion) who will survive is only something that George R. R. Martin wrote in a letter about the upcoming series in 199-fucking-3. It was supposed to be a trilogy. There was supposed to be a love triangle between Tyrion, Arya and Jon. Also dany wasn’t supposed to have dragons in that outline so STOP using the big 5 to justify that Sansa isn’t an important character! It’s getting old and transparent.

I’m cracking up. Have you people even READ the original outline? No? I highly suggest you check it out before sending me asks on it again. You can see the original photos and transcribed texts HERE.

But let’s go through it because it’s a glorious Friday afternoon and I feel like taking some people down a notch.

The things I seem most about GRRM’s original outline as reasons why it shouldn’t be taken seriously are: 1) it was supposed to be a trilogy and 2) there was supposed to be a love triangle between Jon, Arya, and Tyrion. I don’t know where you got the whole, “Dany wasn’t supposed to have dragons” thing anon because according to the outline, there be dragons:

But let’s take a look at the letter. George states, “There are three major conflicts set in motion in the chapters enclosed. These will form the major plot threads of the trilogy, intertwining each other in what should be a complex but exciting (I hope) narrative tapestry. Each of the conflicts presents a major threat to the peace of my imaginary realm, the Seven Kingdoms, and to the lives of my principal characters.”

The first threat, George says, is the Lannister/Stark conflict.

The second threat is the Dothraki invasion, led by Daenerys in what George thought would be his second novel - A Dance With Dragons.

And the Third and final threat to Westeros would be the Others in his presumed last novel - The Winds of Winter.

Now, right off the bat, George has already used all the book titles, with TWOW in progress. On the show, we’ve already seen the play out and conclusion of the Lannister/Stark war. Daenerys/Dothraki invasion of Westeros has happened in the show. And the Others had begun invading the Seven Kingdoms at the end of Season 7.

So all of what George first said has come to pass, just eight seasons and seven books, not a trilogy.

In AGOT, things George said would happen was that Ned and Cat were doomed (✓), things for the Starks would get worse before they got better (✓), Ned would find out what happened to Jon Arryn (✓), Robert would have an accident and the throne would pass to Joffrey (✓), Ned would be accused of treason (✓), and Ned would help Arya and Catelyn escape to Winterfell (did not happen). HOWEVER - Cat never needed escaping from King’s Landing AND Arya did escape King’s Landing after Ned’s beheading - she just didn’t receive help from him.

George says of Sansa: she will wed Joffrey (no) and bear him a son (no), “and when the crunch comes she will choose her husband and child over her parents and siblings, a choice she will later bitterly rue” (✓ - Sansa DOES choose Joffrey over her family in the Riverlands and then again in King’s Landing by going behind Ned’s back to tell Cersei of his plan to send them back to Winterfell and willingly volunteers to write the letter to Robb so that she can still marry Joffrey (not because Cersei made her write it, she did it for Joffrey). Tyrion befriends Sansa (✓) and Arya (no) and becomes disillusioned with his own family (✓).

I’m just going to quote the whole letter from now on because I’m too lazy to type…

“Young Bran will come out of his coma (✓), after a strange prophetic dream (✓), only to discover that he will never walk again (✓). He will turn to magic, at first in the hope of restoring his legs, but later for its own sake (✓). When his father Eddard Stark is executed, Bran will see the shape of doom descending on all of them, but nothing he can say will stop his brother Robb from calling the banners in rebellion (✓) . All the north will be inflamed by war (✓). Robb will win several splendid victories (✓), and maim Joffrey Baratheon on the battlefield (no), but in the end he will not be able to stand against Jaime and Tyrion Lannister and their allies. Robb Stark will die in battle (no), and Tyrion Lannister will besiege and burn Winterfell (no - kinda).” - Winterfell does get besieged and burned, only not by Tyrion, by Theon and Ramsay. And of course, Robb will die during his war against the Lannisters, just not in battle.

“Jon Snow, the bastard, will remain in the far north (✓). He will mature into a ranger of great daring (✓ - kinda), and ultimately will succeed his uncle as the commander of the Night’s Watch(✓ - kinda). When Winterfell burns, Catelyn Stark will be forced to flee north with her son Bran and her daughter Arya (no - kinda). Wounded by Lannister riders, they will seek refuge at the Wall, but the men of the Night’s Watch give up their families when they take the black, and Jon and Benjen will not be able to help, to Jon’s anguish (no). It will lead to a bitter estrangement between Jon and Bran (no). Arya will be more forgiving … until she realizes, with terror, that she has fallen in love with Jon, who is not only her half-brother but a man of the Night’s Watch, sworn to celibacy (no - kinda). Their passion will continue to torment Jon and Arya throughout the trilogy, until the secret of Jon’s true parentage is finally revealed in the last book (no - kinda).” - though Jon isn’t a ranger, he goes on a ranging and is pretty daring. He does become LC but not succeeding Benjen, succeeding Mormont. Bran does flee to the Wall, but to go beyond it. Arya tries to flee North/to the Wall but doesn’t make it. Jon is tormented by a love because of his NW vows of celibacy - Ygritte - and does develop feelings for his kin - Daenerys.

“Abandoned by the Night’s Watch, Catelyn and her children will find their only hope of safety lies even further north, beyond the Wall (no - kinda), where they fall into the hands of Mance Rayder, the King-beyond-the-Wall, and get a dreadful glimpse of the inhuman others as they attack the wildling encampment (no - kinda). Bran’s magic, Arya’s sword Needle, and the savagery of their direwolves will help them survive, but their mother Catelyn will die at the hands of the others (no - kinda).” - as stated, Bran does go beyond the Wall, Jon is the one who falls into the hands of Mance Rayder, Jon does get a glimpse of an Other attack on a wildling encampment (Hardhome), and Bran’s magic and direwolf do save him from the Others (The Door - Hodor).

“Over across the narrow sea, Daenerys Targaryen will discover that her new husband, the Dothraki Khal Drogo, has little interest in invading the Seven Kingdoms, much to her brother’s frustration(✓). When Viserys presses his claims past the point of tact or wisdom, Khal Drogo will finally grow annoyed and kill him out of hand, eliminating the Targaryen pretender and leaving Daenerys as the last of her line (✓). Danerys [sic] will bide her time, but she will not forget (✓). When the moment is right, she will kill her husband (✓) to avenge her brother (no), and then flee with a trusted friend into the wilderness beyond Vaes Dothrak (✓ - kinda). There, hunted by Dothraki bloodriders (✓) [unclear] of her life, she stumbles on a cach***e of dragon’***s eggs (✓ - kinda) [unclear] of a young dragon will give Daenerys the power to bend the Dothraki to her will (✓). Then she begins to plan for her invasion of the Seven Kingdoms (✓). - Daenerys does wander the wilderness beyond Vaes Dothrak (after she hatches her dragons) with her Khalasar in the Red Waste. She does get dragons eggs, just given to her at her wedding instead of stumbling upon them (really, that’s just better storytelling on George’s part. If she had just randomly found them, it would feel too coincidental). Dany did kill Drogo but not to avenge Viserys; it was to put him out of his misery. Dany does use her powers to bend the Dothraki to her will (burning the Khals to become TSWMTW).

“Tyrion Lannister will continue to travel, to plot, and to play the game of thrones (✓), finally removing his nephew Joffrey in disgust at the boy king’s brutality (no - kinda). Jaime Lannister will follow Joffrey on the throne of the Seven Kingdoms (no - kinda), by the simple expedient of killing everyone ahead of him in the line of succession and blaming his brother Tyrion for the murders (no - kinda). Exiled (✓), Tyrion will change sides (✓), making common cause with the surviving Starks to bring his brother down (✓ - kinda), and falling helplessly in love with Arya Stark (✓ - kinda) while he’s at it. His passion is, alas, unreciprocated (✓ - kinda), but no less intense for that, and it will lead to a deadly rivalry between Tyrion and Jon Snow (yet to be seen).” - Joffrey is killed and Tyrion is accused though he wasn’t guilty. Cersei follows her son to the throne after Tommen’s death (which was her fault so she essentially killed him), Tyrion joins Daenerys to bring down Cersei, he falls in love with Dany (according to all of Peter’s interviews about his feelings for Daenerys), as Dany is in love with Jon, it seems Tyrion’s affections are reciprocated, and we don’t yet know if Tyrion and Jon will fight to the death. It’s possible.

So anon, I’d say so far as George’s predictions go for the entire series, he’s gotten it closer to his original outline than not. So please, for the last goddamn time, leave me alone with this bullshit that the Original outline doesn’t mean anything so far as Sansa’s character and I should stop referring to it. Almost everything George predicted he’d write, has come to pass. Perhaps not how he originally thought…but largely, it’s all happened.

And it’s because of Turner’s strength, Benioff continued, that it made sense to give Sansa a dramatic storyline this season and to use Ramsay’s engagement for that very purpose. In fact, the showrunners first thought about putting Sansa and Ramsay together back when they were writing season 2. “We really wanted Sansa to play a major part this season,” Benioff said. “If we were going to stay absolutely faithful to the book, it was going to be very hard to do that.

D&D wanted it. It’s not George’s story or George’s plan. Dan and Dave like Sophie’s acting and wanted her to play a more major role. So they gave her that. It has absolutely nothing to do with the series as a whole or the endgame. Sansa is not a main character and she will matter very little to the endgame.

Once you got into the kitchen is when the place went quiet. Your brother, dad, Happy, Kozik, Tig, Bobby, Chibs, Juice, Piney, and Opie.

“What?” You ask breaking the uncomfortable silence

“Where are you going?” Jax asks looking to you.

“I need to do something and I will meet all of you at the funeral” You tell him and try to walk out the door.

“Not alone” He demands as he tries to stop you.

“I will be fine. I just need to make a little errand and I will make my way to the church” You say while trying to walk out the door but Jax grabs you by the arm.

“JESUS FUCKING CHRIST, IM GOING TO BE FINE!!!!” You yell as you pull away from his grasp.

“Dont fucking follow me or else I will beat you to a pulp Jax. That goes for all of you” You tell him and everyone else in the kitchen.

Mom and Dad come down the stairs and see what is going on. Mom is about to say something but you look to her with a glare.

“Take this” She says and hands you a gun

“And take this” Chibs says next and gives you his gun

Jax looks to him right away and couldnt believe he is letting you go by yourself.

“Ye heard her, she’ll kill us” He says while everyone smiles.

They know you can handle yourself, they have seen you beat a guy into a confession about who broke into your gallery and stole money along with laptops. They knew how you would track a person down and for a quick minute it was like as if you did not have a soul when you interrogated someone about something.

You got into your truck and drove in the direction of Davids house. You couldnt look at Chibs and tell him you are pregnant with his baby. You and Chibs have been seeing each other for sometime and were very happy how things turned out. He slowly begin to move in and even mentioned about letting his place go. You talked him into renting it out to someone to make money, he thought it is a great idea.

You turn on the street David lives on but his cruiser is parked in the drive way, you see him walk into the car and drove off. You tried calling his cell but went straight to voice mail.

“For fuck sakes” You mutter to yourself and decided to wait until he got back. You parked in front of his house and sat in your truck.

An hour passes and he still isnt back. You looked at the missed phone calls and checked the voice mails. You missed a few from Chibs, your mom, dad, juice and even Jax. You picked up your phone and called back Chibs.

“Chibs: Y/n?

You: Yeah, sorry I was in the gallery and left my phone in the truck

Chibs: I called the gallery and the line is out. I sent over a prospect just now

You: You can call him back since Im half way to the church now

Chibs: Alright, you ok love?

You: I’m good, I just needed to clear something here

Chibs: Ok, we have extra security here

You: Figured, Im on my way”

You drove away from Davids and went to the church. You are about to turn into the street of the church when a van cut you off and turn before you could even do so. You heard shots being fired, you saw your family fire back as well. Van drove up in front of you and it turned around, the van hit David and you saw he wasnt getting back up.

Something inside you drove you into complete anger. You stopped the truck and got out. You pulled out the gun, took the safety off and started firing. Jax and your dad begin to flip out and started to yell for you. You heard nothing, all you could hear is the blood fire through your veins in pure anger. The people inside the van started firing at you as well but the bullet just grazed your arm but you couldnt feel anything.

You fired again, you shot the driver and the van turns toward you but you keep walking towards the van. Chibs begins to make a run for you and he is also yelling as tears begin to form. Clay holds him back because he didnt want anything happening to him. The van misses you, you look to Davids lifeless form and you heard someone moving around in the van trying to get out.

You walk to the van, pull the door open, the person is about to fire but you knew he is out of bullets. Jax goes running to you and try to stop you. He wanted answers as to who would do this. You fired right until you ran out of bullets, you grabbed Chibs gun and emptied the round into the other person who tried to get away. Finally Jax pulls you out of your trance of rage, you turned to him and pointed the gun at him.

“Jesus Christ, put the gun down” He says in a hushed tone

“Why did you kill him? We could have used him to get answers” He says while trying to get you to put the gun down. You had one bullet left.

You went to Davids side as you got on your knees, your vision begin to get blurry by your tears. Soon after you were a sobbing mess, pulling his body closer to yours.

Chibs and Jax look puzzled as they look to each other. Gemma walks to her daughter to try and console her. Clay is puzzled as well looking to Unser.

“Im pregnant” Is all you say while sobbing out the news

“Is that why you went to Davids?” She asks while you nod.

You get up from his lifeless form and see the paramedics take his body away. You hug yourself while covered in his blood. Chibs comes to your side, pulls you into his arms and you allow him. You sob against his chest as he kisses the top of your head. Once you are calm enough is when you decide to tell Chibs about your pregnancy.

“The reason why I went over there is because I wanted to tell him that Im pregnant” You tell him in a hushed tone.

“And he is the da” He says while still holding you in his arms.

Jax didnt know how to react to your sudden act of rage towards the shooters. All he could do was worry even more about you. Chief Unser didnt know what to think about your sudden reaction either. He told his officers to brush this off and to write up another group of shooters came along and got away. Only leaving another dead.

“Chibs get my baby home and I’ll send over Hap and Kozik to watch out the house for you” Clay says while he nods.

He leads you down the street to your truck where you left it. Happy and Kozik drive to your house. Chibs takes you to the passenger side and he goes around to get into the driver seat. As he drives is when you begin to collect yourself.

“Is that where ye went? Ye wanted to tell him?” He asks the break the silence

“Yes. I thought he deserved to know” You simply reply and look straight a head to the road

“Were ye going to tell me?” He asks next as he begins to grip the wheel

“Yeah, I was going to tell you after I had told David” You answer once more and look to Chibs.

“I wanted to have a talk with you in hopes you still be involved if David was going to be around every so often” You tell him as another lump begins to form in your throat.

“Of course I would be, ye cant get rid of me that easily” He says as he turns into the street of your place.

Well if he was being honest with himself, he would rather call it ‘our’ home. He felt relieved about being included if nothing happened to David and now that he wasnt in the picture anymore. He would need to fill the bigger shoes, no matter what he is going to accept the baby as his anyway. He wasnt going to leave you to be a single parent. He loved you to much to leave you alone.

“I thought I would loose you if David is going to be the problem” You say while Chibs pulls into the drive way while putting the truck in park.

“He would be the problem but no way in hell ye would loose me” He says with a smile looking to you.

He helps you out of the truck as he leads you to the front door and enters the house. He takes you up the stairs and straight into the washroom. The guys remain in the kitchen while Kozik raids the fridge which you dont mind at all. Happy begins to cook while Chibs leads you to the room and he goes to the bathroom to make a hot tub of water for you to take a bath.

Once the water is going is when he came into the room and help you up. He leads you to the bathroom, helped you get your clothes off and he finally notices the wound from the shooting.

“It doesnt hurt” You tell him while stepping into the tub.

“Im still gonna need to patch ye up” He says while picking up your clothes from the floor and walks out the bathroom to go down the stairs where Happy and Kozik are.

“Is she alright?” Happy asks turning away from the stove

“Aye, throw these away, dont want anything to remind her of this night. Something might trigger her later” He says while giving the clothes to Kozik and he runs out the door.

He goes into the garage, looks around for bleach and places the clothes in the sink. He pours the bleach as he turn on the water. Finally he places them into a garbage bag and drives to a business to dump the clothes into a dumpster. He drives back to your house.

“Good, she is gonna need something to eat when she gets out of the tub” Chibs says as he stops at the bottom of the stairs.

“You got it” Happy says while continuing to cook.

He pulls out his phone to call Kozik and have him make a stop at the store to pick something up for him. You didnt have it stored in your cupboards.

“Hap made ye some tea” Chibs says as he enters to bathroom.

“Thanks” You take the tea from his hands and take a sip.

Chibs helps you out of the tub soon after he is done patching you up. He helped you to the room and even with dressing into pjs. Before he helps you with your shirt is when he remained on the floor and he kissed your growing belly. You caressed his face while he did that. Loving how he showed his adoration for the growing baby inside you.

Once you told everyone else your news is when they congratulated you with such amazing news and the one they needed to hear after everything went sour. Mom wanted to have a potluck at her house for the celebrations of becoming a grandma again. While she ordered the crow eaters around to cook certain items and dad ordered the prospects to get certain items. You were at home trying to find something to do since no one wanted you on your feet.
