TLDR: I decided to leave my comfort zone regarding anime choices and started to watch Beastars. I want strength to watch S2.

I finally finished watching Beastars S1.

I dont know how to feel to be honest. There were some moments during the episodes I went from what the fuck to what the actual fuck 😅

There were also some moments, I was a lil uncomfortable watching.

At this point, I don't know who to ship with who loooool. There are way too many ships. Never in my life I would be shipping a rabbit with a wolf or a deer with a wolf. 😅

I havent read the manga, I might read the manga if I can finish the season 2.

It's way too weird but I enjoyed watching it xD

Someone gives me strength to watch S2, I really need it.

Noragami! A lot of fun, pretty animation, and I’ve been feeling nostalgic for it recently I might... ignore the tons of anime I’m in the middle of and rewatch it soon🤭😐

4. Anime you have not finished watching yet?

BNA, Mushishi, Steins Gate 0, Bungou Stray Dogs (s3), Kimi ni todoke, Vinland saga, BNA, Gekkan Shouko Nozaki Kun, Keep your hands off Eizouken, March comes in like a lion, Fate extra last encore— definitely more I’m just not able to remember everything ahxjsndn 😐

5. An anime you do NOT recommend and state your reason?

Shoukoku no Altair BECAUSE it was massively dissastifying I love love love the manga and honestly most of the time I like to pretend it was never adapted that’s how not good it was :/

4. Vinland Saga (OK I haven’t finished it yet but I’m a die hard fan of the manga and from what I have seen of the anime, it’s very faithful!)

I rlly don’t ship much, but Medea/Kuzuki from Emiya San is sweet. And so is Thorfinn/Gudrid from Vinland Saga. I have more manga ships tbh

Joe/Yuuri from Meglaobox ig. Oof or Achaea/Cairngorm from HNK but that’s part of the manga hasn’t been adapted yet (s2 when....💎)

3. Shirou probably. That episode of him as a little kid watching cooking shows and taking meticulous notes is one of my favoritesss 🥺🤧💛 but also. Every scene with Kojirou was excellent I got a major kick out of him 💜

A Certain Ruler class character 🐝 from the Fate franchise and umm. I can’t think of anyone else rn. One track mind antics 😐 I’ll play fast and loose with the definition of “husbando” and say Adamant and Oda (Bungou Stray Dogs) v_v

12. Favourite anime genre?

Action/adventure/slice of life? I can’t decide tbh

13. Weirdest anime you have seen?

Shinsekai Yori

14. Subbed or dubbed?

Dubbed so I can multitask/look away as I watch but both are good

15. Fanart or Fanfic?

I really like both but I’ve “consumed” way more fanart over time, I’m pickier about fanfic

16. Protagonist or antagonist?

Usually I’d say antagonist but most of my favorite animes are my favorites because I love the protagonists a lot so!

17. Funniest anime you have seen?

Nichijou or Daily Lives of High School Boys probably

18. Saddest anime you have seen?

Code Geass left me feeling empty but I was in middle school so I don’t know if it would have the same effect on me now. Your Lie in April was heavy at times too🎻

19. Anime character you dislike the most?

The dad from Michiko to Hatchin.... Hatchin’s dad, the one Michiko and Hatchin are searching for for a majority of the show.... Him..... 😑 Astolfo’s master from Fate/Apocrypha too 🥴

20. Recommend an anime movie?

A Silent Voice 🥖 but even more than that, the manga 📖

Winter 2020

Alright, now that the year and decade are over, it’s time to look to what comes next! That means Winter season of 2020. So here I’ll list all the anime that I’m interested in watching, and then the 3 episode rule will take over from there in terms of what I’ll finish.

Lets start with continuing shows:

My hero Academia S4

Mairimashita! Iruma-kun

Ahiru no Sora

Babylon (The last couple episodes)

Kabukichou Sherlock

Blade of the Immortal

Special Mention - Re:Zero Double episode edition. (rewatch before the spring)

And now for new shows:

Plunderer - What’s your number mean? I hope this is pretty good, the premise is unique

Darwin’s Game - another death game kind of thing. Hopefully this one is decent

Somali to Mori no Kamisama - slice of life with a golem and a human girl.

Haikyuu!! Season 4!! Fuck Yeah

Isekai Quartet S2 - fuck yeah

Kyokou Suiri - youkai + romance.

RikeKoi - Scientists trying to prove love. Very excited for an adult romance with science.

Bofuri: I Hate Getting Hurt, So I Put All My Skill Points Into Defense - reminds me a bit of Average Abilities from last season, not a bad thing. That was a real nice chill show.

Infinite Dendrogram - VRMMO game anime. Not sure what the main conflict is supposed to be, but could be good.

Nekopara - Cat girls. Nuff said.

ID:INVADED - Original anime that has some hype around it.

Majutsushi Orphen Hagure Tabi - Probably bad, but i’m usually down for at least 1 or 2 bad shows a season lol

Jibaku Shounen Hanako-kun - This one also has a bit of hype around it.

Dorohedoro - This is just so out there, with a horror/suspense vibe and dumb action and crazy character designs. Definitely worth checking out.

Heya Camp - A little more of the camping girls to tide us over til the full S2

Ishuzoku Reviewers - Fuck yeah, I read the manga and can’t wait til this brothel review anime to air (hopefully uncensored. AT-X come through please)

Koisuru Asteroid - AstroGeo girls? Looks like a cute SoL show.

Pet - This is one I’ve been looking forward to for a while. Looks like a kind of tripy psychological horror/sci-fi kind of premise.

Boku no Tonari ni Ankoku Hankaishin ga Imasu - Looks like fun chuuni shenanigans

Murenase! Seton Gakuen - Beastars, but not? But I’m down for animal girls and comedy

Eizouken no wa Te wo Dasuna - Lets make an anime!

Runway de Waratte - fashion?

Hatena Illusion - the PV looked cute. Magic and illusion or something

Natsunagu - Short, but about college students coming of age. Always down for something set in college. Not enough of those.

number24 - I’m hoping this is much better than Try Knights.

Dang, 31 shows. I’ll give them all a try and from there decide what to continue. I generally have a low bar for what I’ll watch. It doesn’t have to be a top tier show for me to watch, I just like watching anime. That said, something about the show has to grab me at least. So we’ll see what this season can provide.
