Um, I just read your post about Scott and to be honest it just sounds like gossip. Why get upset over rumors on the basis of a single fan encounter where you were not there? Don't we have enough unproven rumors in fandom? I know it's upsetting but social media is never to be trusted. ((HUGS))

Hi, Anon! First, i’d like to thank you for being so nice and polite here!.

Now, I totally understand where you’re coming from, friend, and yes, it’s your prerogative to access info and decide in what to believe (specially when it brings you peace of mind) like this situation here.

(I for once love to seek those, to look for spoilers so to speak, often to prepare myself I guess, and being part of this fandom is part of that for me, I enjoy knowing things 2-5 weeks before ‘official announcements’, like Meaghan joining the show; Alex going to direct his first (and second ep); the 200th ep being past-themed; Mcdanno screen time together; Scott’s new haircut; others not so much, like the restaurant plot sinking; anytime MB comes back or Danny and rachel’s mom making amends, but the principle is there).

I too would be skeptical (in many occasions in general tbh), specially if you had just heard only this info/’gossip’,(hell, realistic speaking, there’s like less than five fans on this whole fandom that if they come up with info like that, the majority of us wouldn't think twice) but, being honest here, it does have its credit when you look at the whole picture from distance/put together more of those loose pieces, like, if this info was from, and excuse me the wording, a random IG fan who never posted/talked abt H50 before, and just recently took a selfie with the cast on his page and wrote something on the comments, /that/ for sure would make me consider them an informant rather than a witness. Now here, it’s from someone who’s been on this fandom from quite some time, I don’t know them personally, but I used their scott-fan website multiple times looking for content/sources, they often bring scott-related content to the fandom, so I really believe they don’t have reasons to just make things up (nor Scott had reasons to just make things up while talking to fans, it’s just not his persona to do that, he’s cool abt so many things [and if you consider all the previous events abt his character on the show and s9-s10/he may leaving, it’s not surprising he even sharing that tbh]).

Still on the topic, i’ve even made before on another post i answered a month ago (X), a timeline while i tried to make sense and soothe my mind in the process in this whole story (which we’ll never have a real and complete answer btw), and if you add the possibility of: Scott not attending PaleyFest(yes, I know abt AWOW day) + being his last contract indeed+ not mentioning Scott/Danny at all at the panel, it all makes a reasonably solid sad case =/.

Thanks again for the ask, Anon, I know those topics are emotionally heavy somehow, and even tho they take a toll on me, I somewhat like talking abt them, I guess i’m really not the type of person who can put a Hold on my feelings suddenly, and wait for after the season finale (plus some days/weeks) to finally have an ‘oficial’ answer saying if the thing that I love dearly no longer exists, and just then can talk abt it. I love this show and characters so much, that anything justifiably that can affect that in its core it’s worrying for me. 

TL;DR : I understand your point, friend, and we all should do a critical thinking and decide in what to believe, while always being respectful towards others, I don’t have intention of causing panic here, I particularly can’t stop thinking abt this bc I’m undoubtedly more ‘invested’ than others in this show (read: the McDanno ship), I’ll still hold on my hopes while looking for answers myself bc it soothes the anxiety/fear inside me, also while I root for an end those two men deserves.
