Yes! I have a septum piercing (got it done when I was 17 years old) and I also have my ears pierced.

Although I write a lot for Lo’ak and Neteyam, I loveee Jake. He is actually one of my comfort characters. I also love Thor from Mavel and Sokka from Atla so freaking much!

Some of you may know that I have two little parrots who I loveee. I’ve had them for nearly three years. I wanted to give them the best care possible so I did as much research I possibly could. Somehow my bedroom is now a birdroom😭. Currently, I am following a course to become a diplomated parrot behaviorist! I never thought I’d end up on this path but I love it regardless😩

A Metal Family OC?! In MY fanart account?? More likely than you think...

This guy's name is Erik Ivánov, and he's the punk intimidating-looking dork Dee has the world's biggest crush on.

More fanart I've done of him and Dee, and general info about him under the cut cuz I have TOO much, I love my boy to bits 😭💕

Erik transferred to Dee's school approximately mid-year, and despite being behind on most stuff, he proved himself to be hard working and determined, as he caught on quickly on most subjects. He's specially good in Home Economics and all social studies like History and Geography.

Erik is ONE year older than Dee. Back when I made his reference sheet I had sworn based on Dee's appearance that he surely was 16, so I made Erik 17. But... As it has been confirmed that Dee's 15, now Erik's 16. I just can't edit the image now 😭

Erik looks naturally intimidating, he's tall and big, he has a rough looking resting face, people tend to assume he's just a bully based on his appearance and don't mess with him, and he doesn't mind being perceived like that, it keeps trouble away. But actually, he just looks like that, he's really a huge dork, a gentle giant. Actual sweetheart.

He has a 6 year old little sister named Sasha! He loves her to bits. Practically raised her ever since she turned 2 because of their Mom's death and their Dad's descent into negligence out of grief. She loves bright, pastel and traditionally femenine colors while Erik has a more harsh vibe, their contrast is amazing.

He doesn't curse often, and is uncharacteristically polite with what he considers dominant authority figures, always calling them "sir" or "ma'am". It's weird for an anarchist punk and it has more to do with a learned impulse than a genuine consideration.

The punk aspect kinda maximizes his whole image, his handmade vest and ripped shirts and jeans stand out. He likes taking care of his appearance and always puts effort into looking his best, he makes modifications to most of his jeans and jackets. I think aesthetic attraction is a big thing with Dee, so... He catched his interest at first for that:

His hair is dyed red! His hair is naturally a very dark shade of brown, bordering black, just like his sister's. He has a septum piercing and is particularly fond of chokers!

Erik's not big on technology. He had a goddamn antique FLIP PHONE until not long ago. He still has one of those old school huge computers and an old thick TV. His dad is stingy with money and whatever still works, they keep and use. Because of this, Erik hardly uses internet to other things but homework and listening to music, no social media, no records of his presence online. To the internet, Erik hardly exists. The fact that he's so difficult to find info online just sparked Dee's curiosity even more.

Erik and Dee's dynamic is very dependant of how much time they've known each other for and how much they trust one another.

Their relationship started as some sort of strangers to best friends, with Dee being avidly curious and interested in this mysterious, un-blackmailable, intimidating, cool looking boy, always staring and stalking him, and Erik just sorta confused about what in the hell could the creepy metalhead boy want from him. Then, the closeness did what it could, Erik sat just in front of Dee for a good pair of weeks, but then changed seats via a teacher's order, and ended up sharing a single table, and started talking little by little. Strangers turned to bickering friends, and Dee's obvious first crush on him made it too easy for Erik to tease him and want to spend more time together with him, making them very close. Romance just sorta happened eventually, slowly but surely ❤️
