What’s the worst thing you’ve ever eaten?

Now now be careful because I've lived my whole life in two regions with the most wicked cuisines ever lo behold Asia and Northern Europe and by the first I mean really whacky cuisines and the latter just, well, purely dreadful ones 🥲.

I have eaten countless variations of insects and scorpions and actually half of them are genuinely alright but somebody tricked me into eating turtle soup once (i didn't know what it was) and i just felt absolutely horrible for the next months (see that is just pure chaotic evil).

But then again I've lived in the Netherlands previously and I once went to this kind of conference for uni thing where the Dutch made us eat broodje kaas, that is sliced bread with cheese, FOR 3 DAYS. Like, just genuine bread and cheese, repeatedly.

Now, I have nothing against bread my europeans (do not come at me), and only a slight problem with cheese, but there comes a point where it's not so much a matter of exposure as it is a matter of the quantity of exposure.

1. With which fictional character do you wanna go on a date? lol i just answered that one here :p but i guess i could add another: Spock tbh, bc that would be so interesting!

2. Would you ever change your name? YES tbh, if i ever manage to publish a book, i’ll definitely look into changing it officially to my pen name, even tho it probably costs SO much

3. What do you like more on yourself: long or short hair? never had short hair, except as a kid, so i don’t actually know! i may try it one day tho

4. YOU discover new land and get to name it. What do you call it? hmmmm, Númenor lol

5. Would you rather return as a ghost or a zombie? a ghost definitely, zombies are p gross

6. (mainly for the non-dutchies) What do you think is the meaning of the word ‘oelewapper’? lool, i never really knew what it meant tbh :’) i guess something like “sukkel” but where does it come from? :p

7. What was the best concert you’ve ever been to? there were a lot of good ones, but i guess Muse (2005?) is in my top 3, and the first time i saw Metallica (2007). and of course Wardruna in London last year ♥ in fact the first time i saw Wardruna as well, in an outdoor theatre ruin in a forest near Tilburg in 2009? (lol what is my life tbh)

8. Recommend a movie? during my 2-week Boyd Holbrook obsession i saw Very Good Girls (which also has Dakota Fanning and Elizabeth Olsen among others). tbh some bits were weird, others slightly creepo, but i still really enjoyed it! probably only recommended if you’re into any of the actors tho, and/or indie things

9. Recommend a song? Groundislava (w/ Jake Weary) - Until Tomorrow, which has been stuck in my head for weeks tbh :p but it’s good

10. Which actor do you think is underrated? Paul Bettany!!!

11. Last book you’ve read? Did you like it? i’m rereading Angels & Demons right now and still love it. tbh, my favourite Dan Brown, Inferno second

  Davey Jacobs was new, this made his time rough. He knew Sarah was doing well, and he wouldn’t see Les because he was over at the elementary school, but Davey had an idea he was doing well. Both his siblings were more social than him and weren’t fearful they said anything wrong as soon as they said it. Lunch was just one cake walk. All of the tables were full except one, which so happened to have one seat opened. Davey took a deep inhale, his hands getting slightly shaky.

  “Can I sit here? The other tables are full,” Davey said, pointing to the seat beside a boy with blonde hair. The boy looked up and studied Davey, Davey’s breath quickened. The boy nodded. Davey let a breath out. He really didn’t want to eat alone. The therapist said she wanted him to talk to more people anyways. Davey messed with his food with his fork.

  “You gonna eat?” The boy beside him asked. Davey shrugged still pushing his food around.

“You should, I’m Jack,” Jack introduced, sticking his hand out. Davey gently took it. “Davey,” Davey said quietly. Jack nodded and continued eating.

(This is all I’ve got so far and I’m writing it on Wattpad (my Wattpad followers deserve to know I’m alive I’m never on there anymore))
