OK reallyyyyy important question. Do you have any good Techno-centric angst fic recs that I can snatch from your arms and run away with? 👀 (Preferably ones with Emerald Duo/SBI but I'm up for practically anything at this point.)

Techno serves as a guide for Phil as he travels through the nether, featuring some language barrier based miscommunication. Awesome worldbuilding, really good characterization, not too angsty until the end but when it hits it HITS. Made my chest hurt.

Techno can't stop himself from getting close to his best friend's family, but he knows it can never last. IRL setting, foster-adjacent AU. I don't normally go for traditional SBI family dynamics, but this story floored me so if you like this genre, I'd highly recommend it. Check tags for specific warnings!

Sort of a time capsule from early in the dsmp fandom when no one knew what the prison was for yet. I've been sitting on this fic for like a year waiting for an opportunity to rec, it's so good
