Your post about the shared headcannons with vengestone made a bit of dark scenario pop back up in my head. If you run water over vengestone would there be any runoff (any bits of vengestone that breaks off into the water)? And if Lloyd were to ingest said runoff of vengestone-contaminated water, it would essentially act as a poison in his system. I'm not sure how it would be cured or if it can eventually be passed through his system, but it would be HELL for him none-the-less. It came to me in an angst dream about someone poisoning Lloyd's drink at a restaurant like that in an assassination attempt, he survives since only takes a single sip before realizing that something is off but will be pretty much defenseless for however long it takes for the contaminated water to be cured/passed. I may write a ficlet about it, if I do write it then do you want the ao3 link?
