The Emergence of LLL

“Chaos, Conflicts, Irrelevant” The International AI Ethics Committee has been rendered useless and irrelevant given the backdrop of unregulated AI progression. With the advent of AI development in the political spectrum and the medical frontier, the IAEC has been lambasted as an undependable, subversive international organisation with little to no power in regulating AI. AI is possessing way too much power than we endeavoured. This necessitates a change, a change in organisation, a change of its infrastructure and mechanism. On the eve of 14th march 2055, The IAEC detached itself from the United Nations, rebranding itself as a independent, malicious, progressive paramilitary force under the name of Luddite Liberation League.The Luddite Liberation League serves as an avenue against AI’s rampant infiltration, and possesses its own military power to restrict and undermine AI progression to prevent AI takeover.  The United Nations has warned of the consequences of the Luddite Liberation League. It is imperative for action to be taken, to ensure that AI’s have their check and balance mechanism in place, for the greater good of humanity.

Call to action for Memorandum

The IAEC has proposed the formation of an AI charter. This charter constitutes of guiding principles of the development of AI, of which are contributed to by various delegates across the council -- tech companies, regional blocs and government representatives. This charter will, by its nature of construction, reflect the interests of the vast majority of the council and be held at the highest prestige of AI policymaking. Whilst this charter is legally binding, companies and governments are not forced to enter this charter. HOWEVER, because the IAEC believes that the completed charter WILL reflect the interests of a vast majority of the council, it is hopeful that most delegates will enter this charter, as it also confers legitimacy to any corporation of government which enters it. Bu yıl dördüncüsü düzenlenen Uluslararası Otomotiv Mühendisliği Konferansı (IAEC), alanında uzman mühendislerin katılımlarıyla gerçekleşti. Otomotiv endüstrisindeki elektrikli araçların dönüşümünün tüm yönleriyle ele alındığı etkinliğin ana teması ‘Elektrikli Araç Teknolojileri ve Geleceği’ oldu.

OSD, OİB, OTEP ile TAYSAD tarafından organize edilen ve SAE International’ın da desteklediği konferansın ana konuşmacısı ise dünyanın en büyük lityum batarya üreticisi CATL şirketinin kıdemli yöneticisi Robert Lai’ydi. Konferansta elektrikli araçların yakın geleceğiyle ilgili dikkat çekici bir sunum yapan Robert Lai, son 10 yılda batarya menzillerinin 4 katına çıktığını ve batarya maliyetlerinin yüzde 80 düştüğünü vurguladı. Konuşmasında 5G teknolojisine dikkat çeken Robert Lai, “Kısa bir süre içerisinde 5G teknolojisiyle otomobiller daha iyi bir iletişim aracına dönüşecek. Artık sadece tek başına bir araç değil, aynı zamanda akıllı bir mobil cihaz haline gelecekler” diye konuştu. Robert Lai ayrıca, 2030’da elektrikli araçlarla konvansiyonel araçlar arasındaki satın alma tercihlerinin de yarı yarıya dengeleneceğini söyledi.

Elektrikli araçlardaki mevcut durum ve gelecekte dünyayı bekleyen gelişmelerle ilgili bilgilerin verildiği konferansta; Lityum-İyon bataryalarda gelinen nokta, elektrikli araçlarda teşvik sistemleri, elektrikli araç güç aktarma organlarındaki yenilikçi trendler, Türkiye elektrikli araç pazarı, Türkiye’de batarya üretimi, yakıt hücre sistemleri, ticari araç elektrifikasyonu eğilimleri, batarya durum tespitleri, şebeke ve ağ dağıtım sorunları, şarj teknolojileri, ve batarya teknolojilerinin tedarikçilere etkileri konularında oturumlar düzenlendi.

“Avrupa ve ABD, Çin’i takip ediyor"

Konferansın açılış konuşmasını yapan Boğaziçi Üniversitesi Mühendislik Fakültesi Dekanı ve IAEC 19 Konferansı Başkanı Günay Anlaş, dünyada elektrikli araçlara olan ilginin artarak devam ettiğini belirterek, “Yaklaşık 10 yıl önce 1 yılda satılan elektrikli araç sayısı binler mertebesindeyken, günümüzde milyonlardan bahsediyoruz. Bu konuda en büyük paya sahip olan Çin’in ardından Avrupa ve ABD gelmekte. Türkiye’de ise geçtiğimiz yıl, devlet ve sanayicilerin işbirliği ile elektrikli otomobil üretimi için çalışmalara başlandı. Bununla birlikte elektrikli araç bataryalarının nerede dolumunun yapılacağı, elektrikli araçların menzilleri, elektrikli araçların ve üretimlerinin çevreye zarar verip vermediği, kullanılan elektriğin hangi kaynaklardan üretileceği ve araç maliyetleri gibi pek çok soru gündemi oluşturmaktadır” dedi.

Konferansa ana konuşmacı olarak katılan dünyanın en büyük lityum batarya üreticisi CATL şirketinin kıdemli yöneticisi Robert Lai, “Günümüzde elektrikli araçların pazara giriş oranları yüzde 5’lere kadar çıktı ve elektrikli araçların pazar adetleri 1 milyonu aştı. Toyota, VW ve BMW gibi elektrikli araç teknolojilerini çok erken bir dönemde kabul eden üreticiler, performans ve maliyet açısından önemli geliştirmelere imza atıyorlar. Şarj altyapısına bakıldığında dünya çapında 350 kWh değerlerine ulaşan istasyonlar kurulmaya çalışılıyor. Geçtiğimiz 10 yıla göre batarya menzilleri dört katına kadar çıktı. Bunu yaparken de yaklaşık yüzde 80 oranında batarya maliyetleri düşürüldü. Yakın gelecekte elektrikli araçlar bu anlamda konvansiyonel araçlarla eş değer rekabete ulaşacak, hatta daha iyi fiyatlara satışa çıkacak” diye konuştu.

“Satın alma dengesine baktığımızda ise, 2025’te elektrikli araçlar ve içten yanmalı araçların dengeli bir seyir izleyeceğine inanıyoruz” diyen Robert Lai sözlerine şöyle devam etti: “2030’a geldiğimizde elektrikli araçlarla konvansiyonel araçlar arasındaki satın alma tercihlerinin de yarı yarıya dengeleneceğini söyleyebiliriz. 2040’a gelindiğinde ise artık elektrikleşme çok daha artacak. Diğer taraftan 5G dünyada teknolojiyi çok farklı bir boyuta taşıyacak ve bu durum otomotiv endüstrisini de önemli oranda etkileyecek. Çok kısa bir süre içerisinde 5G teknolojisiyle otomobiller daha iyi bir iletişim aracına dönüşecek. Artık sadece tek başına bir araç değil, aynı zamanda akıllı bir mobil cihaz haline gelecekler. Büyük olasılıkla otonom kullanım oranı da yüksek düzeylere çıkacağından, elektrikli araçlara bu özellikler katıldığında çok daha hızlı yaygınlaşacağına inanıyoruz.”
