I fear you are going to be very disappointed with this list since I don’t have super strong feelings on a lot of these boys but I will do my best! I’ll be going by seating chart order:

Aoyama:

favorite thing about them- Being an extra person myself, I appreciate a character who also very extra. I’ll admit I found him kind of annoying at first but on this second rewatch he’s grown on me.

least favorite thing about them- I don’t have anything I dislike about him. I guess I think he could have a better quirk?

favorite line- “You like him, don’t you?”

brOTP- Uh idk? Who does he really hang out with?

unpopular opinion- I feel like Kirishima is a lot more layered than your average fandom headcanon gives him credit for. Like yeah, my favorite thing about him is that he’s a sweetheart, but he’s not JUST a sweetheart. He’s a rough and tumble kind of guy. He’s insecure, but working on becoming more confident. He’s a stand up guy, but not totally above mischief. He’s just a really interesting character and oh my god is he becoming my new fave boy? What the fuck is happening?

least favorite thing about them- HIS HERO NAME IS SO DUMB. SO DUMB. I GET MAD EVERYTIME I THINK ABOUT IT. WHY IS BAKUGOU’S DUMB NICKNAME FOR HIM SO MUCH BETTER. I’M MAD.

favorite line- Not a line, but I liked when he finally used his fire power, reclaiming it from his asshole dad.

brOTP- Him and Momo I guess. Also him and Midoriya.

OTP- If I MUST choose, I guess Tododeku.

random headcanon- I saw a comic someone made suggesting he likes to do goofy things when only one person is watching because no one will ever believe it happened. I like that.

unpopular opinion- I don’t really like either of Todoroki’s most popular ships. I have a hard time imagining a reason outside of school Momo and Todoroki would ever hang out, and even then I can’t see anything growing there beyond friendship. As for Midoriya and Todoroki… I can see why people ship it I guess, but as someone who came into the fandom knowing that was a fairly popular ship the moment that launched it didn’t even phase me, at least not in that way. It wasn’t until my second watching that I realized that was probably what started the ship and I feel like not a whooole lot has happened between them since? At least not to my knowledge. Todoroki, in my opinion, isn’t close enough to ANYONE yet for romance to be a viable option.

unpopular opinion- Mineta is infinitely to the infinite power times worse than Bakugou is and/or will ever be, and unlike Bakugou, does not deserve the character development he’s apparently getting. Since Horikoshi is too much of a perv and a coward to literally kill him, the next best thing would be to let him die metaphorically of irrelevance. But I know he won’t do that either.

4. Do you regret getting involved in any fandoms?

No, not at all. There are some that I can’t believe I got involved in, but I have no regrets; each experience has taught me something or exposed me to fun ideas that can play in other universes to create something unique. Plus, I stay on the fringes of fandom anyway, so I don’t deal with the stress and drama nearly as much as others.

9. What are the best things about your current fandom?

That I’ve completely lost investment in the show, to be honest. I’m always hesitant to write for active fandoms because of the potential for ongoing canon to destroy really cool fan theories (*coughthatarebetterthanwhatthewriterscomeupwithanywaycoughcough*) but, now that I don’t rightly care about the show itself and consider it closed, I’m far less inhibited in my writing. Plus, I’m not spending time watching the show, which means more time for writing! Aside from that, I’ve met some really cool people along the way, and I live for the unique experiences of listening to someone I would literally never even know existed were it not for the internet and this one show or comic or book. For someone who remembers when phone numbers were only seven digits long (unless you were calling long distance), this concept still trips me out, and it’ll always be my favorite part of fandom in general!

15. Is there an obscure ship which you love?

Technically, the majority of the ships I enjoy are rarepairs, though there are some that veer more towards the mainstream side. Off the top of my head, I can’t think of any ships where the content is so small it might as well be a toy boat in the ocean.

20. Any ships which you surprised yourself by liking?

Bee’s Schnee. Bee’s fucking Schnee- let me tell you something about this goddamn ship. In the week leading up to writing Partners, @alexlayer sent me a link for The Gentle Art of Making Enemies by fiestyslapofpain, and I saw the tags and was like ‘idk, man, I’m not big on the poly thing, I don’t really get it’ but I liked the story overall, it was an interesting twist on canon events. Then, I sit down to write some serious Yangst with Monochrome in mind and I just… couldn’t… fucking… do it, I couldn’t, I couldn’t be that fucking mean to Yang, so I figured ‘okay, I’ll make it Bee’s Schnee, and it’ll be a nice little twist to end on’ and then it just… kept… fucking going! And the more I wrote their dynamic, the more I adored it, until I finally acquiesced and claimed it as my OT3. So… yeah. Bee’s Schnee. I still can’t believe how much I adore this ship now.

23. Name a fic you’ve written that you’re especially fond of & explain why you like it.

Shit, just one? I know that sounds really egotistical, but I do genuinely like most of the stories I’ve written (even when I flub the execution, in my mind)! Top pics per fandom, though, would be Symbolism, Nature & Nurture, The Kingdom, and Black Cat Song. Respectively, I enjoyed turning a NSFW premise into something almost entirely innocent, I had fun playing around with the concept of parenting from a human and alien standpoint, writing Ingvar was so much fun but doing the whole ‘meeting the parents’ schtick with the way I’d set the universe up provided additional challenges and I really love the overall message, and getting a chance to entirely rework not one but two fictional landscapes to mesh together while creating a unique lore all its own was something I hadn’t done before and it felt massively rewarding when I finished it.

44. What ship do you feel needs more attention?

I’m actually hesitant to answer this question straight (lol) because I don’t like the idea of promoting a ship over promoting healthy relationships, and there’s a difference, especially in fanworks. Really, I’m fine with most ships, provided they’re treated in a reasonable and respectable way, but sometimes both of those concepts are tossed to the wayside for the sake of creating more content, and I think that’s a slippery slope. I’d much rather see more depictions of healthy relationships between characters than one or two specific pairings, and that’s not to say that the pairings themselves have to be healthy and perfect off the bat (speaking in respects to fanfics, specifically). People are, by our very nature, problematic creatures who grow and change over time, and that should be reflected in fanworks; very rare are the unions between people where neither party changes much because they mesh extremely well from the get go. After seeing my friends who are now married or in the process of getting married or with long time partners and considering marriage, I’ve noticed (rather jarringly, since my military service made for some very long stretches with minimal contact) how they’ve changed over the years, and how their partners have changed. That’s part of being in a relationship; growing together with your chosen partner, and it’s a real thing of beauty. I’d much rather see these real aspects of relationships reflected in fanworks (and the source content, tbh, but I digress…) than a massive influx of content for a specific pairing. (Though, that being said, more Elderburn would be fucking fantastic, lol.)

Thor is that embarrassing big brother who always ruins your moments. Even when he’s not there. Everybody’s like ‘oh it’s thor’s evil little brother’ lol

Yeah, for some reason I can’t find any pictures of Loki from the side/back either (I mean ones showing his whole body)…not that I’d really be able to tell even if I did find one, but still. It’s like the internet somehow knows that the fangirls would go crazy over it and is hiding it on purpose.

A lot of people complained about Bruce/Nat coming completely out of the blue and I guess it kinda did, but I still like it :) other than Pepper/Tony, it seems like the only romantic couple Marvel got right, because Marvel is notorious for messing up the romance.

Darcy and Sif are best girls in Thor 2. Frigga is queen. Like you said, I feel like Jane is quite flat and don’t actually 'like’ her, but I have a small soft spot for her for two reasons: because I feel like she could have been a cool, unique character if they’d given her a chance, and because NATALIE PORTMAN. I haven’t really watched any of her movies but she's a great actress.

And yes, Frigga dies in Thor 2.

And I know you said you don’t ship anything yet, but there’s this really great (but really long) series on ao3 called 'Remember This Cold’ for Steve/Loki…I recommend that even if you don’t ship it, because it features one of the most realistic redemption arcs for Loki. It’s beautiful to watch (read?) as he steadily learns to accept Steve’s help as the genuine caring it is instead of an attempt to manipulate him.

After another fruitless search, I caved and opened incognito mode, typing ‘loki’s butt’. AND I STILL GOT NOTHING. I did get Steve’s behind, tho. It’s a good behind ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

The problem with Loki is that his cape covers the glorious butt he’s been burdened with. Maybe in some other sequel? Like Ragnarok? I mean, problematic fave did appear (for 5 seconds at most), and you could still practically hear the panties dropping from all over the world. And don’t get me started on the comments on the gifs or the trailer itself XD

Since I watched Ultron (where they have a very close relationship) without watching the previous movies, I just assumed they had a close relationship established in one of them and rolled with it. Besides, ‘tis cute. She can calm down the ‘Other One’.

They what. Now that’s just messed up. Messed up bigtime. Didn’t Steve see his love in one of the movies, where she was old and gray and pretty much dead? Which part of him thought ‘kk, you’re the niece of my ex who’s now wrinkly, Imma sleep with you’. That’s just overstepping the line.

Isn’t Jane the reason all the shit in Thor 2 happens? like, she touches the aether and shit ensues (i hate the spoiler minefield that is tumblr) I just feel like she should’ve gotten more personality traits other than ‘likes astronomy’ and ‘likes thor’. That’s all I understood about her from the first movie.

Well, shit. The only person who genuinely cared for Loki dies. And his last words to her.... He’s becoming a bit of a too problematic fave.

Theodosia the wife or Theodosia the kid? His spear? Idk, is there anyone he actually cares for other than himself??

I’ll try to read it once holidays start ^^ I really want to see the Loki redemption arcs! And the new potential rarepair is calling my name...

Loki does deserve happiness. He’s done a lot (A LOT) of shit, but it is the consequence of his upbringing. Now, I’m not defending him, or saying he should’ve done what he did, I’m just saying that it might not entirely be his fault. Ok, now imagine this: Loki with glasses (i like guys with glasses shhhhh)

Depending on my relationship with the person, I can be both types ;) But if I know it embarrasses you, I’ll keep it to myself (most of the time :P) However, if it’s a really cutesy scene, I’d just forward it to you with a caption like <(￣︶￣)>

Yep, I did. I read about it in a book and was like ‘OK THIS IS MY NEW HOBBY, NO QUESTIONS ASKED!’. I still have my bow, I just don’t use it. What ship represents the kind of relationship you’d love to have? Davekat as presented in canon, all soft squishy feels under a shell of crunchy banter and sarcasm; that, or Rosemary, which I read this fic once that mentioned them being a universal constant? like, there wasn't a single timeline where they didn't get together, and that makes me really happy. I also really like how Nepeta and Equius are complete polar opposites and both really fucking weird but don't care10. Is there a ship that makes your skin crawl? Churboose the way most people portray it. Caboose has the mental capacity of a child; I don't know if it's canon or not, but I am firmly of the belief that he is not entirely capable of distinguishing between romantic and platonic love, if at all, and sex isn't even a thing that he acknowledges. I can get behind the idea of Church accidentally and bizarrely and inexplicably falling in love with Caboose in a purely emotional sense, and Caboose loves everyone on all the teams in his own way, except the ones his family (because that's what they are, his family) genuinely hates, and those he does his best to fuck up something fierce. but don't pretend that Caboose and Church having sex would be anything but creepy as fuck and completely out of character. Also, the Director/Tex, because vicarious relationships, and Felix/Tucker but that one's a good skin-crawly one if done right (which it will be when I do it).11. What is your favourite canon ship? if we're going with the cutthroat definition of canon, there aren't any, so going with the practical definition, Grimmons, because I'm not saying the secretly-married jokes are true, but I am saying they're extremely well-founded, even if one or both of them needs to pull his head out of his ass and notice.13. I feel like Vriska/Terezi, especially Game Over timeline Vriska/Terezi, deserved more, but I definitely needed more Terezi/John, because John learning firsthand about kismesissitude is a beautiful image.14. Is there a ship you feel gets undeserved hate in fandom? no??? the RvB fandom tends to agree that most of the characters have banged or at least that they could, so I haven't actually seen, like, *any* ship hate.15. What is the first ship you had? Davekat, which I shipped before getting into Homestuck, for which I blame the friend who got me into it in the first place.16. Is there a ship the writers have ruined for you? no. unless you count the emotional abuse that is Ohio shooting Sherry and thereby ruining any chance they could've had, which nearly made me cry19. Is there a ship the fandom has ruined for you? not unless you count that tumblr post about Gamzee's relationships all being meticulously calculated and executed to do the most damage ruining my ability to enjoy pale Gamkar due to my new perception of Gamzee20. I have an AO3 but refuse to attach it to my tumblr. currently I've only got one RvB work and it's a really minor ship of mine, but I've got like four Tuckington, one Lolix, and that Felix/Tucker emotional abuse on the go.21. Is there a ship you’ll never admit you have? nope. not for anything I don't think. I'll even admit to shipping Annie and Teddy from the Magic Tree House books, and Dink and Ruth Rose from the A-Z Mysteries. I have always been a trashbaby and never given half a fuck.23. What is one scene you want to see happen for all your ships? meeting in a bar, for the first time or after a long time or whatever. there are so many damn ways a bar meeting could go that it satisfies so many of my ships, and in RvB, all of them.25. Is there a ship you wish you didn’t know existed? all forms of Stridercest, particularly since I can actually tolerate Dirk/Dave. also Kurloz/Mituna because Kurloz is a confirmed creepy abusive fucker and Mituna is my precious pandamaged child26. Name a ship that ended like you wanted it to. Church/Tex, actually, if you disregard my temporary disappointment at Tex being female. the end of S9 gave them the best possible ending.27. Name a ship that deserved better in the end. Dirk/Jake but I can't complain too much because at least the abusive relationship ended28. Is there a character you have several ships for? Tucker's a slut, so yeah, but also I'm a big believer in breakups being a good and healthy part of life, so I ship relationships in the past tense. example: I support York and Carolina being together, and also thoroughly support Kimball finally getting Carolina to open up and fall in love again.29. What is the ship you ignore 98% of canon for? that's not really a thing I do, so. there isn't one.30. Is there a ship you like but you dislike the fandom? if we mean the fandom stuff for the particular ship, yeah, Churboose and Lolix in particular but I generally hate when people miss the point of what makes characters themselves in order to just make fanfic or whatever of their ship. in more general terms, I read the Maze Runner a while ago in order to be able to watch the movie for the sake of Thomas Brodie-Sangster (which I decided not to actually do because it's a really bad book), and I fucking hated the book, it's a really fucking shitty book, but Newt and Thomas all the fucking way man. (I think it was the nickname that really got me; nobody else calls him Tommy, and Newt doesn't give anyone else a nickname as far as I can remember, and also I'm really pissed that they cut the kiss scene from the movie because I might've suffered through it just for that)HOOOOOO BOY thank you anon that was way more fun than sleeping. also I'm having so much trouble figuring out who you are because most of my people I know are in one fandom or the other but not both, and the other people I can think of I can't imagine sending me an ask like this. aaaaa it's a mystery thank you for the excuse to ramble
