ok so im gonna post like some refs and screenshot edits soon and ill show you those but basically through some complex stuff involving professor mystery(from lost in danville. might not actually exist in the main dimension bc that whole ep took place in another one but i say he does exist) and a basically oc of mine bc we dont even have their name background character, trying to become a god. uh.

all the main(extended, extended main. i mean like. if they show up more then once, are interesting, and worked thematically) characters, who, basically were part of this pantheon connected to danville, were basically forced into human lives. not possessing or just appearing, but from when they were born, that energy. and no memories of being deities. of knowing each other at all properly.

parts of them, such as eyes, pretty much any markings, so from freckles and birthmarks, to wrinkles and even like. those lines on your hand. i know they have a name i just forget what. but anyways, they glow. literally radiating out a power. now, the color and power, and how in manifests in other ways, changes depending on the person. their powers are linked to their godhood, and what they had deityhood over, but not necessarily in the way you would think. for example, while candace has fire-based powers, shes not exactly the goddess of fire.

obviously this isn't without its downsides. in fact, there are usually more downsides then upsides. almost all the main cast don't know the others are also deities until later, for like. twenty reasons ranging from: "i got really anxious about it originally, didn't ever tell them, and now they'll probably hate me if i tell them" , to "this is literally half of my existence and it hurts and maybe if I keep pretending it doesn't exist, the pain will stop and everything can be fine and normal and not deadly". also like. having actual fire or poison or metal or lightning in your veins isn't that fun. your emotions are too extreme, because they're yours, and that makes everything flare up, and now it hurts to feel, and that makes the emotions so much worse, or every step feels heavy and sluggish, even if it's just as normal as everyone elses, and you just want to run and not stop, because maybe then you won't feel this way. or every bad memory just makes you feel worse, sick or drowsy, and you know it's all in your head. but you're starting to see things and you just have to pull through them. or every time you move, you start generating energy, the kind that your body could never keep up with, and it feels so right, like you could do anything, but if you don't get rid of that feeling early, you'll overcharge something, or even your own body...................

And of course there are workarounds. unless the emotion you feel is that extreme, makeup can cover up the glowing freckles and hands. just don't look at anyone when it's dark enough to see your eyes. don't let yourself get too emotional, or you'll start fires or every tree in the vicinity will uproot, or something else will happen. and these don't always work, but avoid too much or events at night, and you'll be fine. obviously that's not so much an option in danville.

theres obviously a bunch of changes to the plot, characters, and what generally happens, but suffice to say the parents have been trying to figure out what the hell they were deities of forever, and while the idea of phineas and ferb having figured out something they were literally gods at so early just seemed a bit too much like exaggeration to linda at first.

also all the parents are watching the kids and trying to explain that like. maybe the rest are all deities too kids. maybe you could stop being anxious about how much they'll hate you and just fuckin tell them. please. we'll have to explain too much if we just tell you but like. gosh can you please just. not. just once.
