Bodyguard Chadnico AU

This is the Second time I do this post bc Tumblr deleted the first one I hate this hellsite

This AU was based of this post

Anyways!!!!! Chaddick is the spoiled, arrogant, bratty Prince of Foxwood, and Nicholas is the grumpy, cranky, impatient bodyguard.

Nico Hates this job. He Hates having to deal with that Spoiled Brat every day.

Chad Hates his new bodyguard. Who cares if Dad says hes the best one and so is the most fit to protect a Heir????? He is so annoying and did Nobody tell him that Smiles are Physically Possible???? Or does he just have a problem in that handsome face that he isnt able to smile????

But both share one thing in common - THEYRE GAY AND SO, SO, OBLIVIOUS.

Prince Cedric is a Little Less Oblivious.

Cedric: JUST FACE IT CHADDICK YOU THINK YOUR BODYGUARD IS HOT

Chad: NO I DO NOT

So Cedric decides that if Theyre not gonna do it themselves, he should set the two up. All his attempts fail.

Nicholas kinda hates everything at this point. Except for his friend, Anadil. She doesnt take shit from anyone. She is good company. And Caleb too, but thats more because literally Any Adult That Comes In Contact With That Child Decides to Adopt Him.

No seriously. He is a Little Angel. Anyone that dislikes him is a Monster.

Nico voice// If anything happened to that kid, I'd kill everyone in this castle and then myself.

Mood, Nico. Mood

Nico and Chad go on that "Spoiled Prince vs Guard Who Aint Having None Of That Shit" fashion until...

PIANO LESSONS!!!!!

Chad has to take them. But he Sucks. Seriously.

Nico feels like his ears are being Brutally Assaulted Every Single Time.

So one day he's had enough. And decides to Act Out the way hes feeling.

Chad scoffs. "As if you could do any better.",

"Watch me" Nico snaps. Then he sits down. And plays Wonderfully. Like, Scalping-Chad-Via-Piano Wonderful.

So that makes Chad loose his sleep a bit.

So he decides to Make Nico Teach Him.

And at first Nico is Very Angry abt this. But he does so anyways.

So Every Night they play. And at first Nico is a very grumpy and bossy teacher, but with time, things better. Maybe because Nico actually Likes playing for Chad, although hed never admit it. Perhaps it is because of the looks of admiration and awe he always gets. Probably that.

And also bc being Closer to Nico has made Chad change a bit too. Hes less Bratty and Arrogant. He's just becomig a kinder, better person in general.

And one night...

"Think I'll have a break" Chad says, and stands up, leaning on the piano tail. Nico sits down and starts playing.

And Chad just watches him play, the moon's silver light cast over him contrasting with the warm, yellow glow of the candles. It was nice to watch him play, even if it was only by the way his expression softens and the hint of a smile that plays on his lips whenever he is playing. He wonders what Nico's smiles actually are like. Probably not much of a bright smile. More of a serene smile.

And Chad only realizes the Gay has Hit him as Gently as a Train On Max Speed when he feels his cheeks going hot. Fuck. Is he blushing too???

And then Nico stands up,

And now theyre so close, oh God, Oh Fuck,

And Chad really wants to kiss him but he doesnt know how or when or-

Nicholas kisses him. It is nice, soft, gentle kiss.

It doesnt last long as Nico realizes what he's done.

Chad doesn't give him time to wonder if he's overstepped or not, because he grabs him by the waist and kisses him back.

And when they break away again, Nico is smiling. A genuine smile. It is the first time Chad has actually seen him smile.

And Chad was right. It is a serene smile. Not bright with teeth. Just a calm, a bit subtle, but still, a smile. Chad thinks it is lovely.

"Youre actually smiling." He says. Then he smirks. "Should I call a doctor?"

"Shut up"

"I can schedule you a therapist-"

"Oh, cut it out," Nico snaps, giving him a light punch on the shoulder. But he never stops smiling. Chad is Sure he's heard a giggle.

After a few days, Cedric finds abt that kiss. He decides he can finally die in peace.

And so Chad and Nico start dating. In Secret, but still Dating.

But one thing comes in their way. Chad ends up in an arranged marriage with Princess Beatrix of Jaunt Jolie.

However, Bea is a Lesbian, and is Dating Her bodyguard, Reena.

Seriously??? For Reatrix it was Love At First Sight. 3 days into the job theyre kissing. By the time the arranged marriage happens, they had already started planning to elope and get married in secret.

So Bea and Chad decided to work together to Sabotage The Wedding.

Sadly it doesnt work. One has never seen a couple looking so miserable during a wedding when the day comes.

HOWEVER! When the priest goes "does anyone object-"

Reena and Nico stand up at the same time and start talking over each other. When they realize What is going on they change to "oh no you-" "-oh please go on-" "-oh after you-"

After some minutes of that Reena talks first. And she doesnt have the time to Finish her Passionate Declaration because Bea is already rushing from the altar to jump into her arms.

Nico is more direct. He Marches into the altar and kisses Chad Right There.

This causes enough upheaval for the Wedding to be Called Off.

But yknow what??? Bea is Already in a Wedding Dress so she decides to marry Reena right there. It is a Beautiful wedding. Chad is Absolutely Sobbing.

A few weeks later he and Nico get married. It is also a great wedding. Cedric is Chads best man. He is crying like a child at the wedding. And so is Chad. By the time he can say "I do" he's sobbing.

Aaaand thats it for the Main plot!!!!! Here are some cameos that should make it to the fic if I write it:

Tagatha has a cameo!!!! Tedros is the Also Spoiled Bratty Prince, hes Heir to the Throne Of Camelot. And similar to Chaddick, he also is in a predicament of being-attracted-to-his-bodyguard-that-he-also-hates: Agatha. First appearance is Teddy paying Chad a visit and them bitching abt the bodyguard ordeal to each other lmao. Tho one week after Reatrixs wedding Tedros comes to a visit again. And Chad catches them kissing behind a pillar.

Hestadil!!!! Ani is a guard and Nicos friend. Hester is Ani's girlfriend, and although she doesnt work at the castle, she pays Ani a visit sometimes. Shes a hunter. Also Dot is their roommate, and she sells chocolate (thought itd be a nice tie to her special talent in canon sjsjdj)

And Nicphie!!!!! Sophie is Princess of Gavaldon, she makes a cameo during the wedding along with her girlfriend Nicola.

Yara is a guard at Foxwood, and Kiko is a maid And her girlfriend. (My dumbass only thought of that 14 hours after posting this so I had to edit to make the change 😔)

So yeah thats pretty much it lmao skdkdkfm

I originally wanted to make it into a Comic but Idk if I have the skill to do so??? So I think I'll only write it But I Might end up making some short comics based on it idk

heck yeah before i go to bed more dragon!kagami/ryukogo and turtle!nino/carapace ninogami au stuff

the moment marinette figures out that kagami is ryukogo and adrien figures out that nino is carapace you can bet your asses adrien makes a Sick™ Fushigi Yuugi reference by calling their ‘love square’ “Genbu”, after the Black Tortoise

marinette loves him but kicks his ass for that reference

anyway im splitting all this shit behind the cut

NINO / KAGAMI

the nino and kagami side of the love square is basically “we’re two of adrien’s closest friends on different sides of the interest spectrum and we may or may not think the other is really cute but we’re never gonna be able to spit it out”

on nino’s end it’s “she’s really cute and could kick my ass and i’d thank her but i get tongue tied around her so guess i’ll perish”

on kagami’s end it’s “he’s actually a very interesting person and maybe i do really really enjoy his company a lot and he’s got potential and okay he’s cute”

they do fencing together after kagami says she could teach him [i go more into depth on that shit in another ninogami post, it’s easy to find since i’m the only ninogami shipper on this hellsite]

NINO/RYUKOGO

the thing is, his first impression of ryukogo wasn’t very good since he thought she was an akuma trailing chat noir, but damn if she didn’t kick ass while fighting him and he admired her for that and her willingness to apologize when chat noir and ladybug had cleared that all up

ANYWAY

ryukogo’s saved nino more than once and while nino is borderline indignant on the inside - because he’s a hero, he can handle himself -, he also blushes as red as nathaniel’s hair because he really, really likes being carried by ryukogo’s strong arms (BUT YOU’LL NEVER GET HIM TO ADMIT THAT OUT LOUD)

at some point chat noir asks ryukogo to shadow nino for a bit when an akuma is after him, and ryukogo just straight up shows up on nino’s balcony with no warning and gives him a heart attack before she explains she’s here to protect him from the akuma

(and in that moment, nino feels his heart do a jig and ship itself off to hawaii)

and after that incident nino offers to let ryukogo listen to his music just so she has something to do besides practice with her sword in his room - she declines the first few times, but nino plays his music anyway since it’s his room and she eventually sidles up and asks to hear anyway

(nino absolutely does NOT pay attention to how close she’s seated to him no sir)

ryukogo on the other hand is lowkey pleased to be freer in costume to converse with nino, and nino seems much more open to ryukogo anyway - she thinks nino is afraid of kagami or at least intimidated which is why he doesn’t speak to her, and thus believes this is her best opportunity to get to know him better

by her fifth visit she knows most of his favorite things and he’s learned about three favorites of hers - favorite color (ruby red), favorite instrument (piano), and favorite flower (snapdragons) <to which he comments that it’s pretty appropriate, and she bops him on the head with the flat edge of her sword>

KAGAMI/CARAPACE

kagami’s opinion on carapace is split - her first impression of him wasn’t exactly very good (she thought he was an akuma following ladybug), but he’d defended himself against her onslaught and dealt back blows just as well so he’d garnered her respect

there are a few times when kagami finds herself without the chance to transform and within sight of an akuma, and nearly all of those times it’s carapace diving in to protect her - which she’s thankful for, but also her pride won’t let her say so out loud in public

(like literally you’ll see his shield flying out of nowhere to deflect blows from an akuma coming at her)

carapace is always so, so concerned for her and it’s borderline startling for her because she’s just a civilian, why is he so focused on specifically her safety? he should go help ladybug and chat noir and ryukogo when she comes around! and he’s like ‘i know you can defend yourself, but let me do this for you, okay? i’m a superhero and i’m trying to help!’

‘i don’t need a hero’, she says, and carapace just gives her an infuriatingly cute smile when he says ‘i know. but i wanna be.’ and kagami’s sorely tempted to throw her bag at him but he’s already ducked away back into the fight and why are her cheeks red and warm this isn’t fair

(meanwhile carapace is screaming internally because he FINALLY GOT TO SAY SOMETHING TO HER AND IT’S NOT EVEN AS A CIVILIAN AND THIS IS A DISASTER WAYZZ)

CARAPACE/RYUKOGO

after the whole incident with mistaken identities, carapace is more than willing to make amends with ryukogo, and ryukogo, while prideful, is convinced by chat noir to do the same, and they’re partnered up despite the turtle usually being paired with the fox [who’s still gonna be alya in the au, but by this point marinette hasn’t needed the fox as much as she needed the turtle and chat just really wanted a dragon teammate]

whenever ladybug and chat are on patrol, the two are usually sparring on rooftops, practicing moves against and with each other - neither carapace nor ryukogo can deny the slight deja vu they get when fighting with each other, but they don’t really mention it and just enjoy the fact that they’re good matches battle-wise for each other

carapace mentions once during a break in practice that he’d hate to be her enemy, and when ryukogo returns the sentiment he can’t help but grin so earnestly that ryukogo excuses herself for a bit to turn a little red and cough into her fist

oh! they’re always shaking their heads at the romantic entanglement of ladybug and chat noir and carapace mentions once that he thinks he has this small crush on this girl in school, but he’s not sure if she’d even be interested because she’s way out of his league and all, and definitely more in league with adrien agreste

ryukogo doesn’t particularly care, but does ask him who it is that he thinks is so out of his league when he’s a superhero, and carapace makes her swear not to tell before admitting it’s kagami and beginning to list down why he thinks he has a crush on her - and ryukogo just turns five shades of white and then twenty shades of red in about fifteen seconds, much to carapace’s confusion

remember my thanksgiving list? this one is gonna be worse. yes you read right, im attempting this and i hope whoever sees this has a nice day and happy holidays. star tr.ek in more ways than i care to admit has shaped my life so to write paul and get back into the fandom felt like a fresh breeze while simultaneously it felt like coming home and i’m incredibly happy to be here again with such cool and kind folks like you all. basically, because german’s celebrate christmas on the 24th and we open our presents the same evening this might come as a pre-present to some of you but whatever.
