I had a blast going home to @icpercussion this weekend as a guest artist at the @percussivearts NY State Day of Percussion! The students were engaged and interested in the evolution of the pattern and all of the topics we covered. I had a blast recording an incredible record with @legslegoo yesterday. She brilliantly put text to John McNeil’s amazing music and John is featured as well!! This was even more special to me because my mentor, Ed Soph, can be heard playing “C.J.” on a record of John’s from 1983!
