Checked out a new show from South Korea on Netflix called INSPECTOR KOO. It's airing 2 eps every week til the end of the first season. Fantastic! It's being described as similar to KILLING EVE (which I love). Def has elements but also the writers/producers made it very different. Lee Young-ae as the titular Koo (or Goo as it should be) is terrific playing an eccentric/quirky/weird ex-cop now insurance fraud inspector. Sort of Columbo-esque where you think she's a mess and dumb but is actually a genius. Kim Hye-Jun as Kei def has a great sense of whimsy/evilness to her. 2 eps in and loving it. - Side note. In the first ep, Koo pours some soju in a cup and then sticks a teabag in it. She says it makes the soju taste like whiskey! Korean pals...IS THIS A THING? If so, I want to try it. :) #InspectorKoo #InspectorGoo #SouthKoreanTelevision https://www.instagram.com/p/CV03WkLvkRr/?utm_medium=tumblr

I watched Inspector Koo for the third time and noticed this opening scene. Don’t you think the director and/or writer use these scenes side by side to show that somehow YiKung’s killing spree is just like that bloody game KyungYi plays? It is for fun, just like a game.
October is serving up one more drama! Will #InspectorKoo be landing on your watchlist?
The last drama of the month is set to premiere this week, starring Lee Young Ae, and it’s looking like a fun one! Also, check out a sampling of the dramas set to hit our screens in November.

Other people don’t like the 1st episode or even the drama itself but I like it! Yes, somehow it’s a bit boring but the ending got me. I feel like this is quite different from other korean dramas I’ve seen so far. Well, that is just me. Or maybe because it reminds me of the BBC Sherlock, of which I truly loved!!!
They said it is the Asian Killing Eve (which is also produced by BBC) but I can totally see Moriarty and Sherlock in this kdrama. Ohhh, this looks so fun!! Yay!
