Hey, author! I just read your story, ‘Instant Crush’ and I had a question about what Clem may have wanted to do after college. Since the story may or may not be continued, could you explain anything about that? I’m so CURIOUS, PLEASE! Even if you make something up on the spot, I would love to hear about it.

Also, another question I had was…..do you think Clem and Louis stayed together after he left for New York? Do they visit or continue doing long distance? Hopefully they’re married by NOW lol. 😭 Any clouis fluff still left in ya? You’re the best either way!

ooooh this is actually a very fun question because i've thought about both of these.

so for clementine — i had planned for her to go to a community college in the area. in the story, the college is called Central (if you've read Instant Crush, you know what i'm talking about.) at Central, she would've been an undecided major. eventually, she would realize she wants to become a social worker – particularly for children – and she would've gotten a degree in social work!

and for louis and clem's relationship after he left for New York — the long-distance starts off well and they adapt to it pretty fast! however, as time goes on, (and louis inevitably makes friends at school) he starts to... well... get distracted. clem gets insecure and feels like she needs to branch out. they both gradually grow apart and it results in a mutual agreement to take a break (😭) HOWEVER, this turns out to be a good thing because they quickly realize how much they love each other. even when they're not dating, there's a part of their hearts that belong to each other. eventually they talk it out, and yes, they get back together!! and somewhere down the long-winding road that is life, they get married because of course they do.
