inspired by the scrumptious works (x, x) by @horsebra, here are some headcanons that no one asked for but i couldnt help but make

Soap:

Malingers a lot. and dramatically. everyone, himself included, recognizes this but just kinda rolls with it because sometimes it pays off, and to be fair, man does get fouled a ton

if someone is on the ground, 9/10 times it is him

tenacious as hell. will run to balls he won't reach, faces off in aerial duels against könig-height dudes.

somehow always scoring because he'll go for shots others would shy away from and is magically in the right place at the right time (jk he reads the field well)

social captain of the team. is quick with a compliment or consolation no matter what

constantly talking shit and is a nightmare to play against

Alejandro:

shows off a ton which would be a problem if he ever lost possession, but he infrequently does

has fouled out the most and leads the team in cards

just as aggressive a player as Soap, if not more

speaks spanish with rodolfo to covertly talk shit or point out weaknesses in the opposition's defense

his locker room pump up playlist is nasty and excellent and everyone loves it, even ghost (doesn't admit it)

coolest boots on the pitch

obnoxious yet impressive celebration dance, will taunt the fans

Rodolfo:

official idiot wrangler for soap and ale

his passes are clean as hell without fail. no one would score without him.

not a particularly flashy or dramatic player, he's more on the side of efficient, but he'll sometimes pull out the most ridiculous, odee goals you have ever seen in the beautiful game

is great at intercepting the defense's attempts to clear the ball and then proceeds to cross it perfectly and it pisses the other team off severely

big on post-game stretching and gives people shit when they don't. he has saved the team so many injuries.

goes apeshit when ale gets fouled and is actually hurt. if he isn't foaming at the mouth, alejandro is fine. no one can figure out how he tells the difference

Ghost:

effectively a center mid but says he's a defensive mid for reasons unknown

great at assessing the pitch and moving his team around to make saucy plays

scores an awful lot for a "defensive mid"

king of set pieces

surprisingly supportive and kind when his team fucks up

not afraid to play dirty but will immediately own up when the official chews him out for decking a guy

once lifted soap up in a hug after he scored a goal and everyone teased him about it so he never did it ever again

acts pissed but is amused when Soap malingers to win foul against the other team

Price:

is probably way too old to be playing but does anyway

switches between center and l/r-back depending on what the ol knee is telling him

not as fast as he used to be but his judgment and technical skills are impeccable

sometimes pulls out fancy footwork to wow the kids

comfort character on the pitch. when he recovers the ball after shit goes tits up, you know the team is safe

best pump up speeches you have ever heard

Gaz:

quick as hell and loves playing teams that rely on fast breaks because it's a fun challenge and he cuts them off damn well

had one (1) own goal when he was really young and will never forget it

booted the ball to the other side of the pitch and it bounced over the other team's keeper and rolled on in for a goal one (1) time and will never forget it. or stop talking about it. knows better than to try it again.

talks and sings to himself when the other team's offense sucks and the ball generally stays on the far side of the pitch

feels bad when he decks players from the other team and will help them up but also finds it kinda funny

gets beyond hyped for the rare hydration break on hot days

kate:

team coach/manager, Head Idiot Wrangler

has evil conditioning days but no one gets too mad because they trust her judgment

is somehow cool with the owners even tho they're dicks and uses that relationship to advocate for the players

generally keeps her cool during matches but got a red card once for laying into a official for a terrible call

earned many wrinkles and grey hairs from managing the boys

constantly getting shit from people in the league because she's a woman but she shuts that shit down with calm, scary efficiency

not afraid to play politics with the owners and the league but is always honest with the players

Episode #14: "i literally hate attention (i say as i broke out into song unprompted)” - Bryce

I can't believe that I am here. I made it to the Final 4. It is very crazy. I thought that I was toast in the Final 6. So to be here now is very exciting and shocking. The final 3 is going to depend on who wins immunity. I am really hoping that I could win this immunity to secure my spot in the final 3. If not then I hope that Matt doesn't win it. He needs to be an option just in case. I'm very nervous. I just finished my rites of passage. and its crazy that its almost final tribal.

so im getting 4th. FJKASDHFKJh this comp is so hard and like im literally not gonna be able to do endurance so i need to do well on the other stuff but i just dont see that happening... like this puzzle first try was 70 minutes FJKASDHFKAJS. AND I KNOW COUNTING WILL MESS ME UP BC IM NERVOUS WRECK i didnt even mean to caps that but its tea. like flash game i think when i played this once before i wasnt bad but maybe i was who knows. im so emo like no one is talking to me anymore FKJASHDFKJ like i guess bc its just 1 vote left they dont wanna pretend they wont cut me FJAKSDFH like my game not even that good im gonna get dragged by sharky/nathan/keaton/nicole/ everyone but brian... maybe even brian who knows NNNN. my nnn. is so iconic.. maynor who?. idk like ok so if i win immunity (which i wont) idek what to do like i feel like voting matt is the best option maybe. bc i WONT be voting maynor bc i love him (not that i dont love anna and matt) but i just feel like we've had the best relationship of the f4 and im confident that the jury will like my game more than his (maybe they wont tho... i say confident but i mean 2% (not skim) sure they will) but ok so annabelle prob is hated by jury at least from brian and maybe even sharky? but like she didnt play bad she literally made most iconic move at f6 and i respect that but idk if jurors do like ppl keep saying shes a goat so maybe she has no chance. and then theres matt where like ppl cant be mad he voted them when everyone and their mom in this game has voted him ASDKJFHASDKJ. like so hes prob liked by jury but i just dont know if hes done anything to deserve to win. he found 2 idols successfully played 1 but that was more on anna/nicks weird sense of leaking when it didnt really benefit them. but like ok he was least threatening member of trio who got to the end so underdog edit is there even tho he literally wasnt underdog tbh u know who was an underdog... ME. i had NO ONE but nathan for a lil.. then dennis... then he got ROBBED. so then i had brian... but he got ROBBED. and now i have maynor like ive literally flipped and flopped to better my game and idk like i am physically able to meaningfully say ive done anything good ever in life or orgs but like i didnt do too bad i think! KJFAHSDKJF... idk maybe im getting 0 votes 3rd place no matter what and if thats the case im still so happy bc ive had a lot of fun in this game and met some true friends (and keaton) but like im getting 4th anyway so doesnt matter! ugh that sounds like a final goodbye confession but i know me and im gonna confess like 10 more times before this round is over so if i do get 4th/3rd just know that this was my true end...

So like.... I do not think i'm winning immunity. like at all. which makes me pretty nervous ngl. I really want to be there at the finale cause i think I have a good shot. If Bryce loses, i'm fairly sure i'm good to get to FTC but otherwise im scared. Making FTC would be really good for me cause I think i can out argue Maynor and Annabelle fairly well, but otherwise with bryce there idk. So like, BRYCE CAN'T WIN IMMUNITY. Also this FIC is disgusting like no thanks. I've already fucked up the 2 live ones so uh ya am annoyed :(. woo final juror here i come!

Bryce won immunity. Im glad. I wouldnt want to be in the position to vote Bryce. I had to abstained from the counting part cuz it triggered my anxiety. I tried tho but i couldnt. This vote is going to be said. Matt is going to go 4th. And i feel really bad. We got to know each other more during every tribal. This really sucks. I just dont want to give him false hope where there isnt any. Im going to help tomorrow.

So like i am leaving but its ok! why? cause i will preserve my legacy by dropping a whole ass fajita recipe here so that I can feel like i have made an IMPACT on the season. Even though like im still sad its me, im going out with a bang baby! I don't use this recipe personally ( I am a broke student) but its v.good!

Ingredients: 2 large chicken breasts, finely sliced 1 red onion, finely sliced (ready to make you cry) 1 red pepper, sliced 1 red chilli, finely sliced (optional) For the marinade 1 heaped tbsp smoked paprika 1 tbsp ground coriander pinch of ground cumin 2 medium garlic cloves, crushed 4 tbsp olive oil 1 lime juiced 4-5 drops Tabasco

Method: Heat oven to 200C/180C fan/gas 6 and wrap 6 medium tortillas in foil.

Mix 1 heaped tbsp smoked paprika, 1 tbsp ground coriander, a pinch of ground cumin, 2 crushed garlic cloves, 4 tbsp olive oil, the juice of 1 lime and 4-5 drops Tabasco together in a bowl with a big pinch each of salt and pepper.

Stir 2 finely sliced chicken breasts, 1 finely sliced red onion, 1 sliced red pepper and 1 finely sliced red chilli, if using, into the marinade. 

Heat a griddle pan until smoking hot and add the chicken and marinade to the pan.

Keep everything moving over a high heat for about 5 mins using tongs until you get a nice charred effect. If your griddle pan is small you may need to do this in two batches.

To check the chicken is cooked, find the thickest part and tear in half – if any part is still raw cook until done.

Put the tortillas in the oven to heat up and serve with the cooked chicken, a bag of mixed salad and one 230g tub of fresh salsa.

I’m literally going to cry. I want to help Matt. I wish we could all be final 3 but we can’t. I’m dying emotionally. Final 4 always has so much pressure cuz theres only 4 people left. I hope Matt doesn’t hate me. I hope he understands thisnis a game move because he techinically was the underdog in the beginning then was on top then back to underdog. ok so i had the worst day of my life today and didnt plan my speech at all so thats where im at NNN time to fake smile and hope the jurors like my ad libbed speech ASFKUHDFKJ ftc starts in 4 minutes.

well.. that was interesting adsjflhasdkfj. Like i always have 0 confidence in myself so i think im gonna lose and i really do respect the game that anna and maynor played. im just sad that i dont think i articulated myself well bc like im so bad with words anajsfhakj and ppl were saying conflicting things and its just not in me to like chime in with my pov to possible sway it in my favor bc i literally hate attention (i say as i broke out into song unprompted) but yaaa like i truly think that maybe i kind of did play super well and deserve to win but either way ill be happy bc i made *some* genuine friendships and also like had so much fun voting ppl out KFADHSKJASHK. i wish i like wrote what all my confessionals were so i could reference sth i said on day 1 but it was prob like i hate my tribe they ignore me so maybe ill just say that again FKJADSHFKJ. we love coming full circle... im so hungry i didnt eat so i will now stop typing to get dinner maybe i will write another confessional. omg wait gotta have some line thats iconic in case theres an episode title... think... love talking to myself FAKSDHFKj im so funny when i was like "i realized hey i respond to myself ill take me to the end" its such a mood KFJASDHFKJ ok but hm... ok. maybe im a snake who doesnt actually care about people and use them to my advantage to get my way but at least im not jayden. Im happy I made it to the final 3. And even though FTC was bad; I enjoyed it. I know I’m probably getting 3rd which is fine. I have so much respect to Annabelle and Bryce and everyone in the jury. I’m more excited to be able to talk to all of them again. Let’s see who is our winner will it be Bryce or Annabelle!? The hosts you guys were amazing and i had a great time this season. OK so here’s my update on Boy, a lot of stuff happened since i said i would update on friday so this is gonna be massive and juicy as hell, shit literally hit the fan yesterday

so on thursday, i went out for volleyball and he told me to meet at the restaurant where we work at 9pm so me and my friend got there at 9. he was late af. and i asked him when he was planning on coming and he said he would be there soon and he shows up w the girl he was seeing. i can’t say i was surprised because i knew it would happen but it was still :/ anyways, so on the way to the volleyball place, i spill everything that’s been happening to my friend and she told me she was in the same position as i was a few months ago and i was honestly so shook but i had a different outlook on things now because he was literally doing the same thing to her as he was doing to me.

so when we get to the vball place, it was so awkward and i couldnt even look at Boy properly i felt so weird. so we started playing and me, my friend, and Boy were all on the same team and Boy was hella flirting and being all touchy, and the girl he was seeing apparently didn’t look happy and i sort of backed off because i really like her and she’s too nice for this.

side note, fake love by drake came on and my friend looked at me and was like “this is a good song right? ;)” and i couldn’t stop laughing.

so we went to a restaurant afterwards and me and my friend got in on one side and the girl he was seeing got in on the other side and left room for Boy to sit next to her, but he came and sat next to (really close to btw) a different girl (context: this girl is super duper pretty and she just broke up w her bf, so naturally Boy is trying to wheel that lmao) and girl he was seeing (let’s call her Jill, even tho thats not her name) was like “oh, ok” but yeah Boy and other girl were laughing and flirting the whole time we were there

i was pissed, but not pissed that he was flirting with someone else bc i knew he was and i have no right to be pissed about something like that because i was doing this same thing when he was seeing jill. i was more pissed that he was being so blatant about it. like there was no subtlety. so i told my friend i wanted to leave and we left, but they were still sitting hella close together. BUT im not gonna lie and say i wasn’t jealous bc i was, just a lil bit.

on friday, Boy was texting me and asking me when we were gonna hang out (read: hook up) and i just felt super uncomfortable about the whole situation so i was kind of dodging that question and changing the subject. i guess the best way to put it is that i really really really like talking to him, but i just felt uncomfy about the situation he put me in so i was confused and conflicted. i had kind of made plans with him on saturday night so i told myself i would talk to him about it on saturday night and just spill everything i was feeling.

on friday night, i was going out to a pub and another friend (lets call her C) who also works with me was going, and she had some experience with Boy so i thought i would tell her everything. anyways, she was being kinda judge-y (which i found so fucking rich bc while she was seeing Boy, she was still banging her ex so) but she ended up confirming that Boy was wheeling the girl he was sitting next to on thursday night, which didnt surprise me. we were kinda on and off talking about it the whole night, and i was in a really vulnerable place because i was so confused about my feelings on this whole thing and i basically laid out everything i was feeling to her.

i invited Boy to come out but he said no, and i was like ok dude whatever thats your loss, but around midnight when coworkers started showing up at the pub, jill was there. and i was like alright, she doesn’t even really know the birthday girl because birthday girl (aka a close friend of mine) quit right after she started, but the MORE THE MERRIER I GUESS anyways, i got super fuckin turnt like i was drunk off my ass and it was amazingly fun. so close to the end of the night, i got in a table beside jill and asked her how her night was going and she told me she gave her number to the bartender and i was like oh. but i didn’t really say anything about it. when we were leaving, she was on her phone at coatcheck and she seemed MAD like really upset i think because whoever she was calling wasn’t answering the phone. someone mentioned it and it turns out she was calling Boy who told her at one point that he would pick her up from the pub and go back to his place.

he never ended up answering so she shared a cab with us to go home and she was talking about how mad she was at him and how he committed to picking her up and he broke that, but she also mentioned something about him flirting with other girls and how she deserved better and my drunken mind was like OH SHIT but i kept my mouth shut. so anyway, Boy ended up calling her back but like, they were almost fighting over the phone idk i guess they made plans to meet up somewhere by where her car was parked and when she hung up, she was like “oh he’s gonna get an earful tonight” but i was too drunk and i got dropped off and i literally passed out as soon as i got into bed, and i really couldn’t bring myself to care about Boy at all because i had such a great night.

so saturday rolls along, and i wake up feeling so good. like im in the best mood i have been in a while. but of course, since my work can suck balls sometimes, that good mood was ruined so quickly on in the night. first of all people were being assholes and it was super busy, but shit l i t e r a l l y hit the fan. so C and Boy were arguing and when C stormed off (partially bc she was mad and partially bc she had tables to serve) i asked Boy what that was all about. he wasn’t really mad, but he came up close to me and was like “actually, you got me in trouble too, bc you talked to C and C talked to Jill” and it was like steam actually shot out of my ears i was FURIOUS i was literally the most angry i had ever been in my life, but it was too busy for me to confront her about it

so i was trying to avoid Boy, and i think near the end of the night when he actually had time to notice that i had been avoiding him, i think he knew i felt awkward so he tried to make convo and stuff. but yeah, when it finally died down, C was standing off to the side so i flat out asked her why she told Jill when i asked her not to. she said that she thought it was in Jill’s best interest to say something to her and also she didn’t want me getting hurt. i was so angry because i trusted her and she literally told the one person i needed her not to tell just 5 hours later. she told Jill about me and the other girl, which is super annoying. it was none of her fucking business and not in her place to get involved at all. she took a situation that was admittedly bad, but SMALL, and turned it into something much larger than it needed to be.

so yeah, i kinda had plans with Boy last night, but i needed to talk to a friend so i asked if she wanted to go for dinner and while we were making plans, Boy comes up and is like “oh you’re going for dinner” while kinda side-eyeing me and my friend turned to me and was like “is ____ allowed to come?” and i was like yeah sure because i was gonna talk to my friend about the situation and he’s literally involved so i wouldn’t be telling my friend anything he didn’t already know

and then the other girl he was talking to ended up coming as well which was fucking hilarious to me i was like dang why don’t we just invite Jill too and really make it a party. what was really funny though was that we were all talking about being mad at C but not really going into why we were mad but we all knew and it was the weirdest few hours of my life

but jill messaged me this morning a long paragraph and we talked things out and basically she’s not mad at me and she just wants the whole thing to be over, which i’m relieved about because i do too. like this is the first time im involved in a work drama situation and its really weird and i dont like it but luckily nobody knows except for the people who were involved which im happy about.

so yeah. that was my weekend. idk if things with Boy are like... Over but i guess i’ll update if need be.

i really don’t know how i feel about all of this, on one hand im relieved everything is out in the open but on the other hand i feel like it opened a can of worms that i really didnt want to see, you know? anyways yeah, thats pretty much it.
