It’s missing New York City hour, lads

#you know that feeling when you move overseas to a beautiful country #after having just moved the year prior #and you start to realise you follow yourself everywhere you go #and the only place that matched your personality was New York #but that’s 16000 miles away #and you need to learn to appreciate where you are #but you just can’t shake the feeling New York gave you #and everything since feels like a let down because you’ve already peaked and found your favourite place #yeah #it’s missing New York hours laddies #even though living there is literally impossible and the city has more issues than where I’m living now #I went to NYC by myself when I was 16 for a month and fell in love #then went back for two weeks at 17 and confirmed my love for it #and now I’m 21 with an adult brain and I’m like welp good luck figuring that out lmao #did I love it for something deeper or did it simply just enrich my ADHD brain 24/7
