regarding that Japanese Marvel tweet saying something about a huge betrayal

nah gais I don't think Sylvie will betray Loki that will destroy Loki's character growth for sure (he went from "trust are for dogs and children" in ep 1 to "she's the only one I do trust" in ep 5) and so far it was never hinted that Sylvie is evil. they have done well to make us sympathize with her for being on the run since she was like 9 years old and making her the villain for shock value is just an awful direction to take.

my bet on this take is another Loki variant played by Tom Hiddleston. It is afterall....a show called Loki. What's better than having the protagonist be our Loki, supporting characters are a bunch of Lokis and the antagonist is another Loki?
