Calling all Dans Do you speak multiple languages?

Seeing the chemistry of Brendan and Majandra on screen again is just one reason out of a million as to why we want B+T. 

The creative collaboration we see these two have from filming, writing, directing, and acting keeps us wanting more. As it becomes abundantly clearer every day that the Dandom is growing and growing and many people are supporting and desiring B+T, sometimes we are surprised to find out when some are not aware of this amazing project. 

As Sarah Cudlipp wrote in the article “Why We’re Excited for ‘Baron and Toluca’ “in ‘Cape&Castle’: “You’ve all heard about Baron and Toluca right? If you haven’t then you clearly aren’t a Roswell fan. Because if you were, you would definitely crave the onscreen duo that is Majandra Delfino and Brendan Fehr.”

To offer some more insight and help spread the word, with the help of some dans, we created some informational videos in different languages that explain What B+T is, how to help support the crowdfunding project, and what they can do to help.

Happy Anniversary to the first B+T clue

Five years ago a crazy journey started, and since then, life as we know it has never been the same!

Let us take you back. The year was 2016. Summer had just begun. The Roswell Fandom was literally roaring on social media through campaigns on Twitter to get a continuation of the Roswell series back on our screens with the original cast using the hashtag #Roswellback. The fandom was thirsty and only a revival of the original cast would quench its thirst. 

On June 10th, Brendan Fehr kindly explained to a new fan on Twitter who had just discovered the Roswell series that the origin of the Roswell shipper name “Candy”: “Michael & Maria’s initials are M&M so that was kinda the original ship name and it eventually morphed into #candy.” Candy. Little did the fandom know that just around the corner in time, they would be getting Roswellback but in a whole new way. Candy was making a comeback with a twist. Candy 2.0. 

A few days later, Roswell fans world-wide got crazy about a clue from the Twitter interactions between the former Roswell actors Majandra Delfino and Brendan Fehr.

Do you remember your pulse racing for excitement when the first clue about a specific candy reunion came about? In the midst after all the campaigning for Roswellback, likes and RT’s from some cast members happened but now with this clue from Majandra and Brendan, there was finally a concrete sign. Social media was buzzing!

The two actors lovingly teased their fans, giving hints about a mysterious hashtag #BandT?. Band T? B and T?

Majandra tweeted “1,2,3 – what is #BandT?“, on June 15, 2016. Her second clue followed eight minutes later, when she posted a sneak peek of a picture with the capture “1… #BandT?“.

The infamous Vasquez Rocks were recognized right away in the clues since they have been seen a lot in the series.

On the bottom right of the picture Majandra posted, fans could see a small piece of her face. A closer look indicated that it was definitely not a throwback picture. IT WAS A NEW ONE!

Brendan joined the fun some hours later and he seemed to know what this was all about. On Majandra’s question “1,2,3 – what is #BandT?“, he replied “(raises hand) #BandT? I know, I know!!!! It’s… oh sorry, phone is gonna die.

Candy fans and all Roswellians were truly enthusiastic over the cryptic yet exciting messages from our candy-coated duo. Everyone came up with some ideas, while the actors waited to share a second clue; a new piece of the puzzle.

So, “What is #BandT?”. Roswell fan Sarah suggested “is that “B and T” as in “Beauty & Tabasco” (code names for M & M? Lol) or “Band T” as in “The cool band I’m in”?” Other fun ideas included, “Banter and Tabasco”, Beer and Tabasco” (The new “Czechoslovakian” fave combo now that they'd be adults???) and Debby from RoswellBack added B&T… bewitching & tantalizing”.

It was still a mystery at the time...but soon the fandom would find out!

Five years ago this crazy journey started, and since then, life as we know it has never been the same!

In June 2016 Roswell fans got crazy about some clues and Twitter interactions between the former Roswell actors Majandra Delfino and Brendan Fehr.

Do you remember your pulse race for excitement?

Following the third clue from June 21st, immediately the next day, fans got another hint on June 22, 2016. The #BandT-mystery story continued on and fans received another sneak peek.

As the saying goes, the plot thickens, as Brendan commented on Majandra’s tweet with, “She be like, ‘I told you these jackets were gonna be too hot.'”

Well, it turned out pretty cool.

The newest piece of the photo showed a little bit more of the beautiful shot, which was taken in front of Vasquez Rocks. Majandra is wearing a leather jacket as well as the person next to her.

Roswell fans are asking if it could be a Roswell project like a Candy spin-off with tough rockn’ roll versions of Maria and Michael? Nova wrote on Twitter “That's @unrealfehr chin for sure! Omg if they announce a spin-off #Roswell show I’m gonna die!!”

At this point, we were all purely speculating. All we knew: They wouldn’t just create such a hype without any reason and right?

In June 2016 Roswell fans got crazy about some clues and Twitter interactions between the former Roswell actors Majandra Delfino and Brendan Fehr.

Do you remember your pulse race for excitement?

Clue number two followed on June 17, 2016 and we got closer to the full photo on June 21, 2016 when Majandra and Brendan were back on Twitter teasing the next piece of the #BandT-mystery puzzle.

We learned from clue number three that there are most definitely two people involved. The middle piece of the photo shows two people wearing leather jackets.

“Isn’t the camera guy supposed to get the people's faces in the shot? Or maybe it’s just a really bad watch ad?”, Brendan asks.

Roswell fan Loxley tweeted “I don’t know! I don’t know! It’s definitely M&M (eek!) but #BandT? Most fun&frustrating puzzle of my LIFE!” and Beatrix added “I still haven’t a clue, but I love a mystery.”

The leather is so rockn’ roll and Sarah was wondering “ok now #BandT is DEFINITELY “that cool band I’m in” –but the question is, can Brendan @unrealfehr sing? Hmm.”

Singing, acting? Cool! But an ad for watches? The fandom really hoped it wasn’t just that!

“Don’t know what this #BandT is but you have brought your fans together and we are loving the intrigue #ROSWELLBACK” wrote MarcDamian to the actors and that sums up perfectly how we felt, as well.
