“Imagine that time turned ‘round, like wind to the back;                                   And your god lost you, as changed horses!                                                       And now you watch, in a foreign land,                                                               How lost love’s bare feet                                                                                  Walk across the late summer grass.”
— Kalevala, “Wind to the back”

Now rises the angry sun over Palestine.
Die the winds in the dunes of a far-away country. He has said, blood of kings and of slaves he will spill like a downpour, and that tales of his victories will know no count nor number...
— Yana Lekhchina, “Blood of Kings”

A year in art, or, drawings I’m particularly proud of.
1 is Teru, my main Naruto character and one of my oldest oc’s
2and 3 is the mummy fanart from back in spring when I watched it for the first (!) time
4 is Lulu, the mc in my original story (it’s about pirates)
The rest is my continuing tribute to Ivanhoe: an illustration to one amazing fic; my first more-or-less realistic digital painting; and what I consider my opus magnum at this point despite the imperfections - posters in the style of Alfons Mucha.
