MPU-5(V)4/P Joint Service Aircrew Mask (JSAM)

Aircrew stuff isn't my territory, but had to pick one of these up cause they're frankly pretty chaotic. Developed as part of a series of next-gen rotary wing aircrew masks to replace the older M45 and MBU-19/P Masks.

The most interesting feature about these masks is their detachable faceplate design, with the facial seal being a separate component that the mask clips into.

I wonder what are your hcs about jmah dream and sam designs? like thing you like to put while drawing them or to have in mind in your draws/fics about them in general

jmah!Dream in the prison ^ his hair is around the middle one's length at intake, maybe i should've drawn it a little longer? and it grows out over the course of the prison arc. dirty blond to kinda auburnish hair with white streaks, freckles, light green kinda hazel-ish eyes. prisoner uniform looks basically the same as above. often has on netherite cuffs and sometimes a solid netherite collar. scarring mostly consists of chemical burns to his back and shoulders, and he also has permanent wither scars to his hands and chest.

some of my art of jsam above sorry that only one of them is colored lol. long pointy ears ... he's green lol. yellow eyes and patches of darker green on his cheeks, shoulders, back of his hands ... ? i get a little inconsistent with those lol but definitely below his eyes. also grows his hair out over jmah and especially in mayfair. often wears it in a ponytail. has a little bit of stubble sometimes. dark green hair.

Jed Berry as Elder McKinley - London - Matinee (29.4.2023)

I ADORE Jed Berry. I hope that when Stevie leaves he gets this role.

McKinley is more stern and authorative then the others I've seen. He is very facially expressive and looks quite esasperated with the others at several points in the show (Elder Church suggesting they lie, when he is told "but we don't have any baptisms"), and he uses a bossy tone when he throws himself in front of the door to tell Kevin and Arnold about Rule 23.

When he is told that they didn't have any baptisms he mimicked the Elder's hand movements when he said "I know". He pulled a 'you're an idiot face' at him.

He consistently winked and waved his hand at the conductor during SMHD and TIALD.

Turn It Off

In Turn it off he makes tiny boxes with his fingers, but the box for being gay was his arm span.

Before they have the black out when they put their hands out to the right to bat the invisible light switch he was getting annoyed, and then when he realised how to 'turn the lights off' he grinned smugly before doing it

He missed the high note in Turn it off - it just didn't come out.

His physical acting exaggerates the campiness of McKinley; he uses steriotypical 'camp' hand movements and was throwing in little dance moves and sashaying his hips.

AAP

In AAP he was singing into Maroni's trumpet as though it was a mic stand and he was a rock singer.

Man Up

In Man Up he pulled his shirt up exposing his chest when "man up all over myself" and ran his hand down his chest and stopped at his belt buckle.

SMHD

During SMHD when Price follows him upstage and he touches McKinley's chest, Jed tipped his head back mimicking an orgasm.

During SMHD when he was giving Hitler a blow job, Hitler (Brian O'Muiri) grabbed his head and pulled his face into his crouch. When Jed stood up he wiped the side of his mouth and winked at Hitler as he sashayed his hips walking away. Hitler grinned and winked suductively back.

When Price was passed out at the bus station he rubbed his arm and squeezed his bicep. When he told the Elders to give him space he rolled his eyes at them looking annoyed that he'd even had to say it.

After asking "was I in it?", he turned away and used this hand to cover the embarrassment of it

JSAM

His expressions in JSAM went from happy (dancing away to the music) to confused, to mortified. His facial expressions are excellent.

TIALD

Really camped it up. Winked at the conductor, did a little hand wave at the conductor

for the timeline i'll give u uh the flowchart here, as well as a quick runthrough of what "path" in specifics plan threesome goes down (as well as a little update bc this flowchart is a little out of date now, it's missing some things. like plan threesome. lmao)

canon timeline happens (the c! universe) (~1 year)

jmah happens after c!sam (who becomes j!sam) time travels to day one of the prison (~1 year)

four square happens -- crossover event between jmah prisontrio and c!prisontrio shortly after inconsolable differences in the jmah!timeline (im so fucking sorry already for this mess) (~1 week, but happens 6 months after jmah daedalus)

mayfair immediately follows four square, and involves jmah dream + jmah sam being in a house together alone for a year. this is where their sexual relationship begins (~1 year)

mayfair+ starts when c!dream gets tped into the mayfair cottage. j!Sam builds a cell under the mayfair cottage. this goes on for a year as they acclimate to life together (~1 year)

mayfair+ff happens when sam + dream from kenjo's forced family AU get thrown in as well. ff!sam ends up being sexually involved in the jmah duo's deal shortly after he arrives, and c!dream eventually joins them. (~1 year)

birdhouse actually specifically refers to the umbrella of AUs that begin with coparent!sam being added to the mayfair cottage hell. this coparent!sam has already gone through the entirety of the coparent timeline, more or less, and has been going to therapy after p!dream left him shortly after they got married. he's pretty horrified by what's happening and his newfound ethical dream apologism gets tested against younger versions of him who are deadset on the whole "i am the warden thing." he quickly bonds with j!dream. (~9 months)

p!Dream gets thrown into the mayfair cottage ... sad. sorry for making u suffer king 😭. he's technically put under p!sam's supervision and the two of them have a complicated ass relationship as they try and work together to get themselves out of this mess. (~6 months)

about half a year after p!dream gets thrown in, we gave them XD certified magic babies. awesamdrabies timeline continues for a few years

when the kids are about 2, p!sam + p!dream (who have been in a weird on again off again relationship) have a blowout fight that ends with p!dream telling p!sam in no uncertain terms that it's over. j!dream, at the same time, is super depressed about the fact that j!sam doesn't actually love him. this results in them having an umm kinda sorta secret affair for a few months before j!dream freaks out one day and spills the whole thing to j!sam. this somehow ends with j!sam + j!dream getting together in an official relationship

a few months later, a series of unfortunate events leads to j!sam making a wish to "start over" with a new house with his son and j!dream, alone. this...goes poorly. j!dream falls into a deep depression and after a few months, runs away after a fight. in the conflict that results, he ends up reunited with the rest of the birdhouse crew (rescued specifically by p!sam) and j!sam ends up in jail. they go on the run together

when the kids are about 3-4, the coparents + j!dream + c!dream + the kids (faith + the triplets) roadtrip while j!sam is in jail. the coparents end up in a kinda sorta relationship again. j!Dream/c!Dream yuri is a staple since like literally four square but theyre traumatized so it's complicated. i'll make the birdhouse love diagram at some point. ummm because we said so p!sam and j!dream end up separated from all the others and have to make a life together on their own, and so they end up as. roommates. in a house . slash p

it doesn't stay slash p

j!sam ends up in jail for about a year and then tracks em for like, probably another 6 months to a year. j!dream/p!sam yuri happens and they've got like a somewhat functional relationship (#TRUST) but j!sam is also. tracking them down. anyway when j!dream sees him in town, he makes the executive decision to sell p!sam out to j!sam and reveal where they're living to him...and also lies. a lot. about the nature of their relationship for the last year. he knows that if j!sam knew the truth, he'd basically deeeefinitely kill p!sam immediately, and j!dream kinda wants that to. not happen. plan threesome refers to his um Desire for all three of them to coexist and fuck! that's been at the back of his mind for Awhile, so when j!sam is back he reacts by basically framing everything between him and p!sam being. well. a lot of manipulation + horrors where j!dream has been fucking with p!sam's head the whoooole time warden so you see p!sam is just a widdle victim and needs to be protected from the big bad dream

Jack Greaves:

Instead of the chirographed moves, he was doing 'sexy' dancing in TBT in the slow motion scene

In the airport scene he was playing a gameboy as he said his lines, and Jed H tried to take it away from him, but he didn't

In AAP he wasn't wearing a beard, instead he just had a moustache. He was leaning over while on the platform, licking his lips and very obviously perving at Jack M. Jack M was trying not to laugh

Yoda had a light saber during MU

In SMHD he did his usual 'sexy Dharma', but when Mr Price came on, Dharma had a t shirt that said "I love Xaddies".

In JSAM as the MP's assistant, him and Jack M, went and got a bench instead of the MP's chair and both sat down while MP (Gavi Alex) had to stand behind them. MP spent alot of time pulling his assistant's wigs backwards

NSV!!! (Meant to post this yesterday but didn’t have the energy haha) I RAN 5K!!!! How? No idea! The run started off bad - think I was still stiff from Saturday night - so 3K itself felt like it was going to be a stretch. But somehow I kept going - determines to prove I could do 4K which surely I could after Saturday?? 4K turned out further than I had originally thought it would be - forcing me to run past a part in my route I had planned to always stop at - a bridge far too small and busy with pedestrians and bikes to warrant running over. But I couldn’t stop, I hadn’t reached 4K yet! I stuck to the edge of the bike lane to avoid the people and I kept running. Then I hit 4K and it occurred to me next time I ran I could hit 5k - I mean my blisters hurt, my legs were achy and I had little speed, but 1 more km wasn’t that much more to add on. So why didn’t I keep going? After all I’d felt this pain for most of the last 1K - the blisters later that evening would be dulled by the amazingness of the accomplishment surely?! So I kept going. 1km was further than I thought it be and at points I was begging for the little Fitbit voice to tell me I’d reached 5k, but sheer determination to do it kept me going - I even sprinted the last bit to the end of the road out of pure pride at the achievement!
