I'm sorry your week was stressful but at least you got to chill a bit. And you're the sweetest I'm so excited to see the ship! Also I love Lixie to death so I would melt to see a fic of him but I would hate for you to rush or stress over it. My birthday is still about a week away (its the 8th) so no rush at all I'm grateful just for the thought. I'm only going on vacation early because we're visiting family in Europe.

Also yes that MV should be illegal they all look so good. As a Minghao stan I melted seeing him but they are all so hot and Jun especially. Even worse I went on Twitter and saw he performed in a mesh shirt and now my brain is mush thinking about Jun.

Okay first I need to get that MV out of the way, I am embodying every lip bite meme in existence. This shouldn't be legal in any way, they ruined the word HOT for me! I was literally wrecked by 5 members at once within the span of 30 seconds. I'm a music enthusiast which is common knowledge but this whole song gave me chills?? This is totally anomaly material. Thank you so much for reminding me of their comeback 😭 I love them all this comeback but HOSHI, illegal as fuck.

Okay now that's done. I will juggle my assignments and edit at the speed of light so I can post the felix fic. I hope you're into cottagecore Call Me By Your Name vibes, basically art tutor y/n and rich kid lixie. With the whole age gap thing. That was my original plan. I will try and get that to come out by your birthday, even if it's released before ladybird.

here’s my ideal picks for the Oscars (not that anyone cares)

Best Picture:

“Get Out” “Lady Bird” “The Shape of Water”

honestly if any of these 3 win I’d be happy

Lead Actor:

Daniel Kaluuya, “Get Out”

Lead Actress:

Sally Hawkins, “The Shape of Water” Saoirse Ronan, “Lady Bird”

I didn’t see “I, Tonya” (or the other movies here) but these two were so good that honestly like if one of them doesnt win I’ll be mad

Supporting Actor:

I would say Richard Jenkins, “The Shape of Water” only because that’s the only movie in this category that I saw but that wouldnt be fair since i didn’t see the other ones so I can’t actual say

Supporting Actress:

Octavia Spencer, “The Shape of Water”

I never got to see Mudbound so unfortunately I can’t compare it to the other movies I got to see that I wanted to see but I love Octavia Spencer and she did a great job. Also Laurie Metcalf and everyone else in Ladybird was really good (that was also a fantastic movie) but I’m still going for Octavia.

Director:

“Get Out,” Jordan Peele “Lady Bird,” Greta Gerwig “The Shape of Water,” Guillermo del Toro

This is also really hard because all 3 of these directors did such a fantastic job and all their movies are so incredible different. They were all so unique.

Animated Feature:

“Coco,” Lee Unkrich, Darla K. Anderson

Usually I try not to jump on the Disney bandwagon (well pixar disney) just because a lot of times those overshadow smaller movies that were really well done, but Coco was pretty good and like it hit home like being able to see an actual american animated movie solely showing Latinx folk (and as someone who is part Mexican American I loved it) My one thing I will say is I didnt see any of the other nominees (except Boss Baby but only because it was on netflix and I wanted to see what it was actually about) I still need to watch the Breadwinner because I love that studio’s movies like Song of the Sea and the Secret of Kells were both incredible and the art style is wonderful. Also the art style for Loving Vincent looks incredible and I need to watch it because like also a whole movie made entirely out of oil paints (oil painting is so time consuming like oils take so long to dry)

Animated Short:

I literally haven’t seen any of these unfortunately so I can’t say

Adapted Screenplay:

The only ones I saw of these were The Disaster Artist and Logan, and Logan was good but I wish I knew more about the other nominees. The Disaster artist was good/funny too but I don’t like James Franco.

The Shape of Water is really beautiful to watch but Baby Driver’s Film and Sound editing is literally what makes that entire movie and it does so well

Kind of Almost included Star Wars just because the series as a whole has incredible scores

These are the only 2 that I’ve seen and if they didn’t win it honestly would not be a big deal to me
