my problem is that i spent the first half of the show thinking that they'd be revealed as brothers bc of all the mystery surrounding stacey's mom and his fascination with yacchan, like an updated, goofier version of geki and burai from zyuranger. obviously that didn't end up being the case, but even though i can see all the ways they could be cute together i just never made the jump? that's just not the vibe i personally get from their scenes, though i 100% get why everyone else loves them
